Violet Venom

Honestly, I blind bought this bottle 2 months ago. I'm not sure I ever even tested it on paper yet, but wore it for the first time today. WELL...let me tell you...I got to work and instantly received 2 compliments. It was giving off milky Santal Calling vibes with some very light white florals and a bit of green vanilla. Then I went to a hot warehouse to pick up some parts later in the afternoon and got 2 MORE compliments from random strangers, one inside and one in the parking lot. Tbh, when she asked what I was wearing, I couldn't even remember what I had put on! I got home and my daughter was like, WHAT are you wearing?? Is it new?? It's NICE. So, although this seems to be getting 'meh' reviews, This one is a win! Obviously projection and sillage are excellent. As far as the Printemps Blanc comparison? I own Printemps Blanc...this is nothing like it IMO. This has so much more character. I've never understood the Printemps Blanc hype. I can barely smell it.

I received mine today, and it is truly beautiful. If you enjoy Maison Mataha Printemps Blanc, you will likely love this as well. Edit: 12/20/25, I just LOVE this, the longevity is so good, and to my nose it is 90% similar to Printemps Blanc, which is my best discovery of 2025, but has longevity issues. Gritti VV lasts the whole day with just 2 sprays, I'm very conservative with my sprays, as I work in a hospital. Both PM and VV were good blind buys for me that were 100% success.

Violet Venom took me by complete surprise. This isn't usually a scent profile I go for but it's done exceedingly well. Perfect scent for summer. The neroli and orange blossom never get too heady and it's blended remarkably. The tea adds a unique twist. For reference I never smelled Printemps Blanc, so I'm not sure how this would compare, I just know Violet Venom is a complete stunner.

Can anyone confirm this is very close to what Printemps Blanc smells like? The Longevity on that is horrible, I'm looking for something similar, but with better projection and longevity.

This conjures up an image to me of a sweet citrus vanilla green tea with a dash of cold milk. Its very green on my skin. Cold. Bright. Sweet. A little powdery. It doesn’t remind me of Printemps Blanc.

I cannot imagine loving this. I blind bought a bottle because it sounded so promising, but I agree with another reviewer calling it diluted and meh. No notes stand out, but not in a good way. It literally just smells "sweet" and nondescript. I sold it.

This came out last year, so why the sudden buzz as if it’s a new launch? It’s mostly likely the brand did not push it enough last year and have decided to get influencers involved to push it out more. Anyways, I had a sample of this early this year, it was nowhere near HSW or Printemps Blanc! I did not get any sweetness but some weird green vibes. Unless if they’ve rejigged the notes and reformulated, this was just meh.

Finally been able to wear this 2 days in a row. Stunning beautiful scent. On my skin, longevity is good 6-7hrs, on clothes, it sticks all day. Love the Gritti bottles too and certainly not disappointed with my purchases

Oh my gosh, this fragrance is absolutely STUNNING. The neroli and orange blossom aren’t syrupy sweet like in scents such as LDBS or Oriana, instead, they’re grounded, buttery, and simply beautiful. I’m obsessed!

I ABSOLUTELY love this fragrance! It's so beautiful! I love tea and orange blossom. A decant is not enough I need a FB. Gritti please make it available in the US.

Smells like a melange of everything you smell at a perfume counter in the mall. Like if you combined all the most popular women’s designer fragrances

I love it but think I already have it in Printemps Blanc. Need to test them side by side and update but I am so far astonished by the similarity.

Meh. It’s nice, but it’s just a softer, sort of muted Printemps Blanc. It’s nothing special, and at that price? No thanks.

Why is this suddenly being launched as a new fragrance when it’s been out since mid 2025?
