Envy Me

I've been wanting to try on this perfume since I've been looking for a summer/spring fragrance and saw several people on the net suggesting this. They also say it draws compliments and I've been also on the lookout for such - so I was so excited when this bottle arrived. I saw so many people here commenting that this fragrance is forgettable and not unique but I beg to disagree. I believe that yeah, it's somewhat reminiscent to a lotion I have sniffed before (still a good thing) - but that's it. The combination of the notes for me is great. They are nothing I have smelled before. I love this. I've always been blind-buying perfumes (I know, not a good thing to do). And so far - this Gucci Envy Me is that top perfume that I did not regret getting. All in all - I love that the scent is light: floral/fruity with a hint of masculinity and green notes. Ahhhh, I love sniffing it on my wrist. When the wind blows on me, I could smell other notes I cannot decipher. Haha. Soooo lovely. Contemplating on making this my signature perfume. Guess I have to look on other Gucci perfumes too. Also, this is one perfume that has good sillage. I seldom have a bottle of perfume that I smell around me immediately. Most perfumes I got, has to be sprayed a lot before I could smell it on me but this one's soooo great - considering it's just an EDT!!!! Bottomline: if you love fruity/floral scents that are NOT overly sweet, you should try this! P.S. I love the bottle! So chic and girly. Looks plasticky at first but it's sturdy. What can I say? I do not hate anything about this perfume. 10/10 for me. EDIT: I am loving this perfume, really. Really. The pink pepper adds some oomph to it!! Plus, the drydown is superb! Creamy sort-of vanillic floral (if that's possible). Lovely!! Ugh, cannot get enough of sniffing on my wrists.

I love this fragrance! I first bought it during a crazed collecting phase when I had run out of interesting ideas and saw this sitting on a shelf at a discount store. I sprayed it a few times initially, and didn't feel the love (thought it was just ok - because I was at that point just coming out of a major niche phase), but things completely changed as the months went on. For some reason I placed this one next to my bed (I have a bedtime ritual of testing perfumes) and it stayed there. I tried it again several times in the following months and slowly fell in love. Each time I spray this I think it's more and more beautiful - not just beautiful, but perfect. It's an EDT, but wears like an EDP. This is a fragrance that requires multiple wearings and maybe several chances.. I wasn't that excited originally, but now am looking for backup bottles because this is one I would be obsessively seeking if it were ever discontinued.

Ok, OK...I understand why some reviewers write this off as a typical fruity-floral frag, BUT...my sensitive sniffer picks up a lot of nuance in this. The opening brings lots of fruity-ness, but its across the spectrum from aquatic-juicy (litchi) to tangy and tropical (peach, pineapple), and it's all zipped up with the zesty pink pepper. In the middle is probably where Envy Me loses some people, it is a very classic peony-rose scent there. As the drydown unfolds, however, I get so much WHITE TEA peeking through the flowers and fruits, ahhh it's GLORIOUS! I love tea notes in perfume, especially white tea. Here, it melds wonderfully with the pineapple, musk, and woods notes. I can't get enough of the drydown. I came back to this perfume after not having sniffed it in about 15 years. It is as refreshing and enchanting as ever!

Gosh, I really miss this scent y'all. I remember it was a gift from an ex that at first caught me off guard... I remember thinking the scent was odd_ too sharp and cold for me. At the time, I was always wearing Ralph and enjoyed that fruity and musky vibe. This was floral and peppery. So strange, and just not my style. However, I saw it was Gucci so I kept wearing it lol. I don't know at what point I decided I liked it, but I finished the huge bottle and was so sad when it was gone. I miss that scent, and feel that I could recognize it anywhere. Beyond sad it has been discontinued. Does anyone know where I could find a good dupe? Anyway, I miss this rose, pepper weirdo perfume, and it will always be one of my favorites. So fresh, chic and feminine :)

This smells like drunk (on pina colada) sex in the Carribbean :) -smells like rich kids having an exotic carefree vacation -its yummy,exotic, melts on your skin and it goes to your head. Its rare that a perfume smells so delish, like bubble gum and shampoo, but still has a bitter sort of base,that gives sofistication, and has such a sillage and longevity.(incredible for a EDT), it melts in my pores and becomes my own skin's smell. I dont see this being the most appropriate "business" perfume as stated below, but I do see it projecting a happy bubbly mood and getting you through a hard day at work.. Its not suitable for a bride but it is for a sexy maid of honour, because its sooo playful and flirtatious...

I first smelled this on someone else back in the day, didn't like it. She over-sprayed it, years later I tried it on me and i fell in love! Now been looking for it but sadly discontinued (i got stock up of 2 bottles and still searching for it) For scent, to me it opens up sharp floral which i don't like that much but once it settles/dried down, my god i can't stop smelling myself! This perfume lasts on me quite nice at the end of the day i still can smell from my cloth but i gotta be close it to it though. Family and friends say at the end of the day they still can smell a very soft and light touch of it when i walk by.

So sad that it discontinued... It had been my all time favorite since when I was early 20s. Ran out the last bottle I had and had to find something new. Settled with YSL Mon Paris for some reason. It’s way sweeter but I kinda like it. But I really wish they bring it back someday. And like the other review said, Divain 154 is very very similar like almost 95% I would say. Top to middle is exactly the same but it dries down on my skin a little differently. It doesn’t last that long like Envy Me did, but it was like $25, so overall I’m very happy with that and it was a great purchase!

I tried this recently and grudgingly as I am still annoyed they have discontinued Gucci Envy. Well I was secretly hoping it might be an Envy flanker with some similarities, but there are no similarities between this and Gucci Envy. However, it's really lovely in its own way. I got a light floral that turned into a delightful clean laundry/luxury soap sort of scent that lingered for around 3 hours. I don't think it will ever be a favourite of mine, but I certainly wouldn't turn it down if I got a bottle as a gift.

This is definitely my signature scent. My sister bought a bottle for herself and the first time she wore it, I just couldn't stop smelling and wonder what that heavenly smell came from. The dry down is the very best, is a very light, creamy, sweet woodsy scent. When you first spary it might come too strong for some people but after you let it air for a acouple of minutes, the smell is just wonderful. I received tons of compliments from my co-workers the fisrt time I wore it, just a heavenly smell.

Hey perfume lovers! I finally find a dupe for this beauty.. it was really hard :D divainparfums.com has got the No. 154 which is more than 90% similar to Envy me. I recieved it yesterday and since than i'm just floating on nostalgia's cloud. It was my early 20s favourite scent.... the performance is good about 4-5 hours maybe more but i think is enough :) i'm really grateful for the experience <3

I love this perfume, simply love it! This is one of my favorite spring/summer fragrances. This is girly, fresh, pretty, pink and fruity with an amazing, sexy peony note! So gorgeous! Yes, it resembles to Versace BC and Burberry Brit Sheer but this one is a lot more complex and sophisticated! I find it very young and flirty, a perfect pink perfume IMHO! Ps: I love the pink pepper note too! :)

This is a truly beautiful, unique and complex composition. It is a fruity tobacco rose, so very juicy and extraordinary. Some things, like some perfumes, have just something about them, something you cannot put your finger on, a little something so alluring, so magnetic, so......... I do not have the proper words for Envy Me. It is the most beautiful romantic take on rose.

If you're seeking a fragrance which is fresh, clean and light withouth reminding air freshener to the slightest, nor having any raw edges - Envy Me is for you! It's pretty, lasts for a long time and has a lovely "floaty" sillage. I get whafts of it throughout the day, which is rather surprising given how delicate the scent seems at first.

This is one of my Favorite fragrance EVER! Finding a replacement seems to be impossible! I’m so 💔 Please if anyone sees this and can recommend a dupe or something extremely close it would be immensely appreciated!! The fragrances listed above as similar for Gucci Envy Me in my opinion is not accurate at all. Thanks in advance 🤞🏼🙏🏼😊

I remember loving this in the 00s. Today I got a whiff of Super Moon by Carner Barcelona and the scent was sooo familiar but I could not place it initially. However I suddenly recalled Envy Me and I am fairly certain that it was the reason for the familiarity. If you love Envy Me I highly recommend you to check out Super Moon!

I absolutely love this for casual wear spring/summer! I had the Versace Bright Crystal which I disliked and I can see why some find this similar -- I would say only for the first half hour but the notes for this one holds through to it's base whereas Bright Crystal turns into something like the generic VS body mists.

Sweet, pretty, peony with some sparkling fruitiness. My now-husband bought this for me circa 2006 and it brings back happy memories. Longevity is great and I feel like I smell pretty when I'm wearing this. Say it's for girls age 20-25 all you want, but I'm dang near 40 and I love it!

I was searching for a woman perfume and i came across clone of this perfume, first sniff and i loved it. If you are in dubai search for spectra no. 228, it is eau de perfume and bottle also looks same. Spectra makes clone of famous perfumes and bottles. It's cheap and long lasting.

i got one many years ago for my wife when we happens to see this on a fragrance roadshow. it was quite a new fragrance then. being an asian, i find it familiar and different to other fragrance at the roadshow. recently i stumble on this webby and i realise why we choose this.

Girly but mature, suitable to anyone, though. This is my love at first sniff and has been my most favorite scent so far. However, it doesn't last long on my skin (personally, it would last only a couple of hours) but because I love the scent so much so I still keep buying it.

I have two bottles of this perfume but I haven't used them yet. But I got a sample at the store & I can say that it has a sweet floral scent with hints of musk. The bottle is quite lovely. I love the pink bows (?) on the bottles. Very cute. 9/10

Sweet and fruity. No need to go in detail about the top, heart and base notes. Lasts long after a two or three sprays on the skin. Gives a sense of sophistication, class and sexiness. Gucci needs to bring this piece of heaven back.

This was my first perfume that I bought and I loved it, I remember that always I kept it in its box and each time I wanted to wear I took it out. My girlish perfume which reminds me of those time I was so happy about the life.

It's one of my all-time favorite old-school vibe perfume. I so much love the rose-mixed floral vibe of this. I did a review about this for my Zest Girls YT channel. I highly recommend this for a sensual romantic date night.

I love this scent, but i can never have it for myself, because this is the signature scent of my best friend, so i couldn't do that to her :) Full, fruity, sensual, safe,warm and dangerous at the same time. I miss it.

It's a very feminine floral perfume for all ages. More floral than fruity, the peony and pink pepper dominate, but stays pleasant and fresh. On my opinion it's long lasting daytime scent,so I love it:)

Such a refreshing fruity perfume. i love this and have gone through 2 bottles and i never tire of it. Reminds me a bit like dior addict 2. Suitable for day wear i think. Difficult to find now though :)

bouquet of nice flowers. That's what I smell. Delicate, pleasant, but I don't picture a mature woman wearing this. More for teens and youngsters. Moderate longetivity, and the sillage isn't that good.

I tried quite some sweet fruity smell but I guess this is going to be my favourite! Even my boy says I'm smelling good! And peach has always been my favourite note for perfume selection.

I bought this bottle in my 20’s when it first released. I’m now 41 and I found it!! It’s 20 years old and it still smells absolutely stunning!!

I couldnt recognize any note of this fragrance. It smells just ordinary fresh to me. It is easy to wear, nice fragrance, but boring.

My favorite scent as of now. It last 2 hours on my skin. But scent still smells on my blouse. Makes me feel nice.
