Envy

I was finally able to get my hands on a bottle of this masterpiece and have been hesitant to write my review, simply because it is my absolutely favorite fragrance of all time, and I've decided to make it my signature scent. I just don't think words can accurately express my love for this fragrance, and if anyone from Gucci is reading this, I beg you to bring this scent back, exactly the way it was originally. Maurice, you are a genius, a fragrance god, for coming up with this divine concoction and I bow down to your excellence. I was first introduced to this fragrance back in 2002, during my high school years, and whilst I didn't quite understand how masterful it was back then, I still enjoyed wearing it. I do have some scent memories attached to this fragrance, but that's not why I love it. I just think this fragrance smells downright amazing. I am not a huge fan of Lily of the Valley, but for some reason, I think when it's mixed with the Hyacinth, it just works. I absolutely love how when I wear this fragrance, I can actually smell it on myself. It is not one of those fragrances that I become nose deaf to, it creates this beautiful scent bubble that lasts a very long time, 8+ hours. There are some fragrances, like Baccarat Rouge 540 that do this disappearing act while wearing it, and you can't seem to smell it on yourself. Envy does not do that at all. In terms of what this scent smells like, it's like the most insanely beautiful green floral scent that has some freshness and a crispness to it. It is extremely unique and just stunning overall. I think what I love about Envy the most is that it's not too much of any one scent profile. It's not too floral, it's not too green, and it's not too fresh. It is purely the best combination of all those things. I suppose there is a hint of a fruity quality, with the pineapple and the peach, but they are not what stands out, they're there in the background giving the slightest touch of sweetness. The combination of base notes is another aspect that really intrigues, and I love a good oakmoss in the base. It is interesting to me that there is Jasmine in the heart and the base, and Jasmine is another floral note that I am very partial to. In terms of when this scent is appropriate to wear, I would say you can wear this all year around if you live in a moderate climate, day or night. If you live in a place that gets very cold, I would say, probably save this for spring/summer. I have two backups of this fragrance that I hope will last me for many years without them going off... I am using what I have very sparingly because I never want to be without this. Just sniffing it from the bottle gives me joy. I pray that Gucci brings this back, it is a shame they discontinued it! I love you Gucci Envy!!!

I have been so curious to try this ever since I really fell in love with Envy for men.. It seems that I love fragrances from this time period! They were so unique but modern and sexy.. Well I got myself a little 1.0 ounce bottle and I sprayed one spray on myself just to get to know this Envy.. It sure smells alot different from the men's version but that is because the composition is completely different.. The men's is a spicy oriental whereas this is a fresh green floral but I can see why they are counterparts to each other though.. Well it starts out really fresh and has a interesting synthetic like blast in the opening that I find really nice because it is suppose to be there just like the synthetic hairspray note in Rush for women.. I detect some pineapple in the opening but it starts to fade and more and more florals start to come out.. Now I do not have much experience with women's fragrances so I am not good at distinguishing floral notes but I am learning.. I think I am smelling a lot of lily of the valley, magnolia, hyacinth, and maybe some jasmine.. It is a true green floral, a huge cocktail of florals, many more than the ones I listed.. Once the top notes start to dry down and the florals really start to come out I start to detect this gorgeous metallic vibe that runs throughout Envy.. Maybe it is the lily of the valley, the hyacinth or both together, I do not know but it is so unique and beautiful! Than as it dries down there is a hint of musk while the florals still remain prominent but very fresh and clean.. It did not smell overly feminine on me to the point of not being able to wear it..It is basically all florals but they are blended in such a way that it smells very fresh, clean, but not to over the top feminine, of course only if worn in moderation! I heard that Envy was also inspired after the scent of vines and yes it does resemble fresh cut vines and flowers.. I like it because it smells of perfume and not of fruits, candies, or deserts.. It smells like something from its era, very modern and unique but still smells like perfume and not some type of food or cheap body spray.. It is very classy, sophisticated, sexy, clean, fresh and unique.. Oh I miss the times when Gucci use to make things like this..

My second review of Envy: I've had at least 3 or 4 bottles so far and I have no confirmed information whatsoever as to if it has really been discontinued, except some gossips. All bottles I've had looked and smelled exactly the same. Dior Tendre Poison IS discontinued. So is Armani Sensi. Most probably Paloma Picasso Tentations too... But Gucci Envy which you can get almost everywhere??? Or Gucci Rush??? In every Rossmann and the like? How can you tell whether a bottle of Envy is a fake or not? What if it smells exactly the same and as long as the previous bottles that I had back in the early 2000's? What if I bought it at a regular network store and not in an online store? What if the labels at the bottom are the same as they used to be 10 years ago? The fact that it's not on the official Gucci website is not too convincing - many houses advertise only the brand new scents they have just released or the most popular ones (e.g. Lancome). What if there are some respectable online stores (not just amazon or ebay) that offer it constantly? And what if I see it every now and then in real-life stores, such as Superpharm ? Are they all fakes? Even if they are, I don't care as long as they smell 100% the same - and THEY DO!!! Which is, b.t.w., hardly ever the case with fakes... I'd be really grateful for any justified information regarding this perfume though, I'm not interested in gossips or urban legends. I just want to know for sure. Love love love "Envy", I do intend to buy another bottle and for the time being I see absolutely no good reason for saying "Goodbye" to it. Please show me one, if it actually exists, I'm ready to face the truth! Best wishes everyone!

Gucci Envy (50 ml., thief shop, 25 usd, fairy mint condition, 1997 batch) Me & my hubby, finding some activity to do. On this beautiful raining Sunday, we decided to go to Japanese thief shop, fairy far from a town. Big warehouse. I found Envy, green bottle. Sit in the shelf. The shop is humble and let us test. I split one tiny spray on my hand. I got instant eyes-roll, it is the best mossy green white-floral I have been tested so far, like I can’t explain. It is very clean, soapy and modern. No we not talking about pass modern. It is very now, I don’t mind wearing this at all. In 2024. It is minimalistic clean white floral. Comparison to the classic release in around the same times, you could feel the scent indicates the era. Pleasure by Estee. Something like that. No but it is not the case with Envy. You know, I pay certain amount to enjoy Fleaur Diamantine by Maison Crivelli but damn like, there is no major difference, Ms.Envy might be the same teir. My 2nd throw back time fragrance that make me feel something like this apart from Parco pour Homme. Old perfumer is something else.. Why, I have no idea, why? Why they can create something like this.. Since 1997 and hold up until this day..?!?? Addendum (Ps. But yeah.. as much I am enjoy this scent, the classic floral green blueprint. I can’t recommend you to pay abusive high price for this.. unless you have strong nostalgia. You crave it, to evoke something inside. Please don’t hold back..)

Envy was the first fragrance I fell in love with and the one that made me discover the world of perfumes several years later so beware, this review is filled with a lot of nostalgia. Not a usual pick for a teenager, right? Well, it was handed to me by my mother, who actually hates it, and it immediately became my favorite scent, shoving aside all those woody and vanilla frags I had on my shelf. Ah, those high-school days when Envy blended so well with cigarette smoke and wild trips! It’s crisp, stern and so chic, makes me think of 90s Kate Moss. To me, it’s truly a masterpiece, a piercing blend of oakmoss and lily-of-the-valley. It’s a pity it got discontinued, I wish they’d create green florals like this again. I’ve only got 15 ml left now and I can’t make myself wear it, guarding it like a dragon. I got CdG Celluloid Galbanum in hopes for finding the familiar scent but it’s not the same, it’s green, yes, but more simple and bold. Music: The Velvet Underground.

This is a fragrance which withstands the test of time. My first experience with it was in the form of a rollerball tester over 10 years ago. It started green, subdued sour green giving me the impression of juiciness, fresh wet grass. Almost appetizing. The green stayed with me for around 4 hours. There is some faint floral, citrus and woody as time passes. I am glad that when i re-visit it after 10 years, it smells exactly what i remember it to be. No reformulation. I like it more now that i have a spray bottle. It gives more sillage than the rollerball. Envy performs well for all weather and season, although i like it the best during summer rainy day. 10 years ago, there were more green fragrance (i had Les Belles de Ricci and Pastel de Gres for example) so Envy wasn't my favourite. But les belles de ricci and pastel de gres are gone now (or just impossible to find?). Envy is getting more difficult to find (even on-line) comparing to say 6 months ago.

This is one of those discontinued fragrances I own that I'm scared of using bc I know I'll mourn after it once it's gone. Sexy and clean can contradict each other, but I think they go well to describe this perfume. Imagine a garden full of white florals - particularly Lilly of the valley - after a rainy morning. The refreshing scent of the rain amplifies the smell of all of the plants and flowers, and a young lady who is wearing a musky perfume is now walking through her garden, relieved that she doesn't have to water them. Envy combines a variety of green notes and musk into this lovely, ladylike potion. Lilly of the valley is definitely the leader in this team, but you can also feel some freesia in there as well as oak moss. Feminine and charming while also having this enchanting, not really seductive but heavily attractive quality to it. I wish Gucci would bring this back and not make it body spray longevity, unlike their recent releases.

I adore this fragrance, though it goes all weird on my skin. Opens with sweet, mildly heady lily-of-the-valley and hyacinth synthetic bouquet. Mildly reminiscent of Metal by Paco Rabanne without the intense treemoss(though it's still there). It cools down into a crisp green floral with the odd metallic "violet leaf" note so popular with men's fragrances in the 90s. I can't say this is my favorite part of this fragrance(and I'm a man), but the effect is diminished on fabric. It develops further with a green feel similar to Futur. The big surprise is the drydown, which is an homage to the legendary Grey Flannel. I actually love this about the fragrance, because there's something in Grey Flannel that makes my sinuses start to seize and swell - not so with Envy. Projection is metallic and 90s robotic masculine, but up close it stays a tender muguet fragrance. Fresh and romantic, this fragrance is still modern and relevant.

Every time I smell a new green perfume, in my heart I'm hoping at least one will smell like this one. A true green floral, the deliciousness of sour sweets, fizzy, zingy, zesty, and yet smells expensive and like nothing else. Longlasting with a good cloud for others to pick up on, without being a "beast"; it's just fantastic quality. In the innocence of youth, this was an unopened hand-me-down from my mother, and since it was my only "proper" perfume at the time, it was practically my first signature scent so I wore it out everywhere - including clubbing! How I wish I could save some of those sprays wasted on crowds of Axe wearers (kidding, sorta). Snagged a backup bottle a few years back but I'm constantly on the hunt for a dupe and no luck yet. Instead releasing rosy or 'intense' flankers every year, brands should bring back discontinued gems, which would sell far better.

I’m fairly amateur so don’t know much about notes. I know the key one here is lily of the valley and I can only say I haven’t liked a single other fragrance that has this note so I think that says something about the uniqueness of Envy. I just received the edp version today and experienced fresh devastation at its discontinuation. They smell very similar to me, I’d say the edp is a richer version of the same fragrance. This was my signature scent from when I first tried it 15-20 years ago, up until it became too rare/expensive to replenish. I’ve never managed to find anything quite like it and have amassed a fairly big (by my standards anyway!) collection in the attempt. I’ve discovered new loves over the years but still don’t have a signature and not sure I ever will again. I’ll be using my last 10ml of edt very sparingly in case it’s the last bottle I ever have.

The Green Juice was my all time favorite and my signature scent in the late 90s but a reason behind its discontinuation may be the performance. It last only 15 minutes on the skin at most. In my opinion it is one of the worst performing fragrances I’ve ever owned. A house cleaner broke my bottle some years back which is how I learned it was discontinued. I quickly bought up three 3.7 bottles and two 1.7 bottles for a large price. As lovely as this fragrance is, the $399 and $699 prices online sellers are now trying to acquire for this fragrance is not worth the money. If it performed like a beast, perhaps. Unfortunately that is not the case. The description on Fragrantica is correct. Flowers, metal and minimalistic. Very beautiful and unique. Too bad it lasts less than 1/2 hour. I’m spraying it on clothing to see if the fragrances last better that way.

Gucci, what have you done? Discontinuing this perfume was NOT an option! There is virtually nothing on the market now that can compare. The closest I've come to such an exquisite smell is with Ck One: nice, but too obvious, not delicate, smells like evergreen car freshener. Armani Aqua di Gioa: meh. Just plain old cool, but like ice left in the freezer too long. Shisheido Zen: blah, should have gone easier with he sweet citrus. like dollar store orange candy. Versace Eros: very , very nice, but where is the pineapple? I think this is the note that sets Envy apart. I can't seem to find a scent that is at once fresh, spicy, floral and a tad sweet. Perfect equilibrium. I just want it all... How, oh, how will I ever replace my Gucci Envy?

I have been searching this beautiful fragrance for years! I had a bottle when I was 17 and loved it. (I’m now 31) So about 2 months ago I happen to find a 50 ml bottle in the back of a small store. I asked the seller if they had any samples and of course they didn’t. So he opened the packaging and sprayed the fragrance.... OMG It smelled divine!! Exactly how I remembered it. I immediately bought the bottle and I am so happy to own it again. I think the fragrance stayed good for such a long time due to the fact that the fragrances in that little shop are stored in the back and it’s a bit dark in there. But I also feel like fragrances that where made years ago are from far better quality and therefore stay good for years!!

Finally managed to pick this up! I LOVE it. I like Envy Me, although I must say, I did buy it for the bottle, but I like it. I don't love it. But this? This I love! What is a bit strange however, is that I have taken quite a dislike to Envy EDP (the black bottle), so I was a bit scared to try Envy. Now I see why so many women love it! Why they even made flankers for it is beyond me. They pale in comparison. Envy is light in a heavy way. it is a strong scent, but not heavy in the way you would select a heavy perfume to wear out to dinner on a cold winter's night. It lasts all day on my skin and works well on me. I don't know what I'll do when I finish the bottle! It also makes me more eager to try Envy Me 2.

If I could wear only one scent every day for the rest of my life.. this would be it ! A scent from my youth.. Probably one of the best I ever had. I got so lucky today and bought a small used bottle at a bargain price. I` m sitting here like Gollum with the ring and feel so gratefull. This will for sure be my special occasion perfume... and I will for sure have to get more. So lovely, feminine, clean and sexy this is. Lily of the valley, Hyacinth, pineapple, oakmoss and woodsy notes. I am enchanted, intrigued and bewitched at the same time. Pure love in a bottle. Silage is heavy on me and longevity is amazing. I feel dressed in a perfect way with this beautiful perfume. Bring it back pretty please !

This was a favourite of mine in the late 90s. Gutted it was discontinued, however I found a good dupe here in the UK - it's fragrance 042 by Eden Perfumes. Not sure if it's available elsewhere though. I'll be wearing this regularly now. Marks a change from all the sweet perfumes and this is such a beautiful green scent despite it being so green, especially at first spray and the first few hours after. It just makes me feel happy and energised from the instant I spray it on. It doesn't smell synthetic at all. It can almost be unisex but still retains enough femininity for a woman who is into fresh, green, floral fragrances. One could even say there's a vegetal element to Gucci Envy.

I got a small sample of Envy, and it’s a shame it’s been discontinued. Delicious. It reminds me a bit of Miu Miu. Fresh, like dewy cut grass, with a dry, mossy thread running through it. There’s a sheer white floral sweetness that makes it feel creamy and luminous: magnolia with a lemony glow, a touch of green jasmine, and just a hint of blooming rose. Sometimes it makes me think of Carnal Flower, though thinner, less rich, less solar. The bergamot actually comes forward more as it dries down, and once you know there’s pineapple in it, its juicy sweet-tartness sticks with you. It wears so easily, sharp but elegant. It’s instantly likeable.

Gucci Envy is a true unique beauty! I already posted my full review and another post about a similar fragrance but I just had to add to add this because of a new experience I had with Envy.. Well my mother decided to try Envy and she liked it right away, mind you my mother is not big on florals.. But throughout the night I would get a hint of Envy wafting off of my mother and boy did it smell amazing! It was a bit of a different experience from smelling it on my own skin, and a great one at that.. It made me appreciate the beauty of this fragrance even more! Now my mother is an Envy lover also.. This stuff is a modern masterpiece!

I love this so much, why have they discontinued? There is nothing else quite like it. I first smelt it on a colleague and had to ask what it was. I went out and bought some the next day and have loved it ever since. It is fresh and clean smelling with a note that kind of clashes somehow, like a note gone wrong, but this is what makes it special and sets it apart from your run of the mill florals. If you like a light, non heavy floral with a depth and a great high, green note, this is for you. Think freesias and Lily of the Valley with something daring and sexy thrown in to just to be different. Fabulous.

Yes, Gucci should bring this wonderful fragrance back. Green floral with an attitude. Complex yet in a way simple and very versatile. Perfect balance between floral, green and spicy notes (those stand out the most to me) - the result is a fresh scent that is not boring or forgettable. I find it almost juicy. Longevity is great. The bottle design perfect. I layer Elizabeth Arden's Fifth Avenue and CK One and that ends up smelling similar to Envy but the result is not as complex. Still - for those who are not able to enjoy this scent this could be an option.

For Gucci Envy fans! There is a new natural Italian fragrance by the company "Natures", that smells very very similar to Gucci Envy.. I was so shocked when I smelled it because it smelled nearly identical.. It is cheap, affordable, and there is a whole line of cream, body wash, deodorant, and the EDT.. It goes by the name of "Gelsomino Adorabile" in english " Adorable Jasmine".. These products are great quality and natural! Some of the notes are Peach, Melon, Bergamot, Jasmine, Rose, Hyacinth, Vanilla, and White Musk! It is amazing! So close to Envy!

Oh Envy! How I miss you!! I "envy" the ones that can still wear you! :D I have to buy myself another one as fast as possible! It's very light, but doesn't pass unnoticed. One of the few fragrances I've worn till the very last drop. Edit: I could get another 30ml bottle of this throughout time, but I still envy the ones who can wear it because, since it's discontinued, I just can't wear it freely. I want to be able to, at least, smell this for a long time so my little bottle is here mostly for appreciation, not for wearing!

This was one of my ATF's, whats up Gucci? Why did you discontinue this? I think it was too expensive to manufacture, as newer perfumes are all synthetics. I enjoyed smelling like a fresh cut vine and I've been heartbroken for many years! Don't be a sucker and buy "Gucci Envy" online as those are all FAKES. Gucci STOPPED manufacturing Envy in 2002, so if you do find an authentic bottle it would be at least 13 years old, and unlike wine, perfumes don't always get better with age.

The most beautiful, truly green perfume composition. Shame it was discontinued. This fragrance represents well what Tom Ford era did for Gucci (look at Gucci now, the clothes and fragrances are hideous, tacky, and for the desperate, followers, and posers). This scent is sophisticated, fresh, and feels like a privalege to wear, since its discontinued. Maybe because my bottle hasnt been protected from heat or light, but it does not last at all. Expensive online but worth it.

So sad it's discontinued. Just like the time knowing Michael Jackson is passed away. That u know ur memory is still there but u can never go back to the time. It's my 1st perfume that I used to wear on the summer afternoon,walking in the quiet suburb streets looking at the trees and flowers. I still have one bottle of it sitting on my table that sometimes bring me bk to these afternoons but its sad to know u can't find it anymore one day when U finish this last bottle.

This was my first perfume i had during my early school day after received as a birthday gift. During that time i even did not know this perfume is for women. But i did really enjoy wearing it and got many compliment from my friends especially boys. End up many of my friends also borrow my perfume. It smells really green, fresh and sophisticated. I think it can be unisex too. I really adore it. Since it has been discontinued it quite difficult to get in my country.

If I had just one wish it would be for Gucci to bring Envy back. Please, Gucci, I am begging you!! Ok, that may be a tad dramatic, but it really is such a shame this was discontinued. For a perfume made in the 90s, this still smells so modern. It's hard to believe it's nearly 30 years old. I will cherish the rest of my bottle for as long as I can and only use it on very special occasions, but I will be bereft when it runs out.

Worth every penny I paid for it on Amazon. Clean and fresh yet strong, the white and purple flowers are a fantastic mix and drydown is musky with Jasmine and Sandalwood yet retaining some florals. This scent for me is an absolute masterpiece. Why Gucci have discontinued it is beyond me. I keep trying to find a replacement but have failed so far. The longevity is great, lasing all day. It's class in a bottle.

I miss Gucci Envy sooooo much. I've been missing it for years now, after being my personal scent for almost 30 years, basically until I couldn't find it anymore. Gucci please bring it back!!! (Not that they'll ever read this, lol) It was just the perfect scent in my opinion. I found it almost magical. It was perfect for me. I could never find anything that even came close to it. Very sad indeed.

Gucci, I beg of you, bring this back!!! I wore this to death in my late teens and early twenties, it was perfection. Green and fresh but so sexy too, signature worthy! So unique too. I tried a dupe of it recently but that unfortunately had a note in it that made me gag, I was so heartbroken. Managed to find a half used bottle on eBay for a bit of a steal as I have to have it in my collection.

I used it several years ago with love...beautiful, green, fresh and very unique scent..stayed on my skin a long time. --update..it is almost impossible to find it now, except a few around in the market that is sold for extremely high prices. @Gucci Cannot believe you'd discontinue something as extraordinary as this and try making new ones that cannot remotely come close to it. Seriously.

IT IS NOT DISCONTINUED!!! Perfect for a sunny spring morning, when a maple tree blooms outside my window with its lovely blossom in the colour of this perfume. Envy encompasses all early spring scents of blossomiog fruit trees - apples, wild apples, cherries, plums and pears, it's as magical as April itself... If you're looking for a dupe of Envy, go for Oriflame's VOLARE MAGNOLIA:)

Each time I look at my bottle I want to cry. Why such a beauty was discontinued???? It's fresh, green, little spicy and sophisticated and ohhh so special to me. I have so many beautiful memories with Envy. Envy is not loud, it's stays close to skin but is extremely longlasting. Love and I'm finding a good replacement for it but still nothing can compare to my lovely Envy.

I have a miniature version of Envy and oh my God it still smell so good after 20+ years! (one of my precious retro collection) This used to be my very first citrusy, lime-y, green perfume back in early y2k. It has a lime-y, greenish fresh scent with uplifting spirit. I cant find any perfume with the similar scent. That's really sad. Please bring this perfume back Gucci!

This perfume had been with me through countless events, parties and date nights. The longevity and sillage is beast mode. It smells so classy, elegant and whenever I wear this I feel extra special. I loveee this! Sadly this is discontinued and the exorbitant prices at the market makes me want to really hold on to my last remaining bottle for as long as I can.

I've just got myself a bottle from one vintage perfume store. I hoped for translucent urban lily of the valley and I got. It is also accompanied by watery-green feeling which I like. can not say anything regarding staying power and projection so far. I hope for a nice aura around me with this perfume as I guess it can project well.

This scent accompanied me through my moving out my parents house to study and my first heart break. Had Gucci brought it back, I'm nt sure I would have purchased it because of the scent association attached. But this was a beautiful scent. Green, fresh, clear, lily of the valley scent that is worth to be brought back to life.

I am huge fan of Envy for Men and thanks to other members of Fragrantica I have found perfect clone. I was curious when I found out when the same brand has also Envy for Women clone. I think that this one is also a spot on! Guys try Eclat 042! I am not promoting this brand, but this is crazy how good their fragrances are!

I've been wearing this since it came out in the nineties. It is by far my most complimented fragrance hands down. Delina really reminds me of Envy but not as sweetly piercing. It will always be in my collection as long as I can find it for a fairly reasonable price. Thank goodness I still have 3/4 of a 1.7 oz bottle 🥰

I have not had this perfume since 1998 and I can't believe I ever stopped wearing it. I just got a one ounce in the mail and I think it smells even better than before. In my top ten for sure...I hear it has been discontinued:(( hard to believe a scent like this would be- such a rich ,multilayered, green scent....

I am so sad that this beautiful fragrance is no longer in production. I wore it daily and everyone I met commented on the fragrance from friends to stangers. I never have had such a perfume that I felt was a part of me. I start my long search now for something that will come close to what I have lost.

I love this fragrance and I really want Gucci to bring it back. It's the perfect scent for the modern world. I am so bored with current perfumes and perfume trends in general, but this one was always a winner! Different, fresh, green and envokes confidence and relaxation in all who wear it!

This was my signature scent for over 20 yrs. Hard to find fresh bottles without paying an astronomical price. It was always my most complimented fragrance ever. The bottles I have, have turned, sadly. It would last until the next day and the sillage was moderate and very pleasant.

i had it, i used it all, and i did like it.. whether i would get it again i am not so sure... there is sooooo many other fragrances to try yet, so i probably would not... for me a little too dry and maybe a little boring... Clean, yes, interesting, not so much... Sorry Envy...

I love this perfume. I bought bottles after bottles every year when I was in highschool. It was my signiture scent. I still own a new bottle but I don't want to use it yet. I wish Gucci brings it back. It's fresh,lemony,bitter,fizzy. Very long lasting,Great projection

One of my all time favorites, I wore it everyday in the late 90's for several years. The scent is of clean exotic fresh cut vines. I am so upset that its been discontinued and the prices are skyrocketing for it on ebay. Also be careful of fake Gucci perfumes on Ebay.

I've waited a long time to try this one...totally worth it! Wonderfully, stridently green, with a cool almost metallic vibe to it...Hyacinth, Rose & Lily of the Valley are hand in hand, not fighting each other. Classic & very elegant, I love it.

This is the most uplifting perfume for me. Spring flower garden in the morning, very wet lily of the valley. Must have for special occasions nowadays since I am running out, and it would cost a fortune to replace it! sad, very sad...

I brought Elle In Paris Eau De Parfum today and got flashbacks. Top notes are Raspberry Leaf, Black Currant, Pear and Sorbet; middle notes are Rose, Magnolia and Jasmine Sambac; base notes are Musk, Patchouli and White Woods.
