Fading Autumn Scented Water

I have now sampled 12 of the Alchemist Garden line and Fading Autumn is by far my favorite scent of the line. I really wish they had released this as an edp rather than a scented water. It’s such a gorgeous woody spicy scent. I truly love it. The problem is that I’m constantly applying it and with the price tag of a full bottle I can simply not justify a purchase. I wish it lasted longer and had slightly more sillage. Overall, I’m glad I sampled this and if I could find a decant for a great price or a dupe, I would definitely buy it.

Refined and seductive. September night at the Adriatic coast and islands of Croatia smells like this. I love it. Also, this is a skin scent, which works for me often, good for beaches, day, night, home, bedroom, every occasion when you don't feel the need of stronger scents. Notes develops so good at my skin, it is so alluring and sexy.

Lovely, beautiful ceramic bottle. Very classy. Act as a piece of art to interior decor of any house. Romantic, comfortable scent of sandalwood. Kinda sweet and triggers memories. Love it so much. Despite its weak performance the big bottle would last for ages. Find it suitable for layering with other floral perfumes.

As a few have said before- I mainly love this for the bottle, and kudos to Bormioli Luigi for this one. Don't get me wrong, the fragrance is very lovely if a bit fleeting (or /fading/- hey, sorry, had to). A very pleasant and well-blended woody scent. Perfectly unisex.

Really great woodsy scent, not green in the least, the "fading" part of "fading autumn" really rings true as you smell this. The longevity makes me want to cry though. It's quite sad.

They say scent evokes memories. For me, Gucci’s ‘Fading Autumn’ smells exactly like a Mediterranean forest after rainfall. To be precise, it took me back to Galicia in the North West of Spain, when I was hiking in the countryside in early morning, admist the usual Galician rainfall. It’s the smell the forest floor gives off when damp, that earthy but woody mix of fallen pine needles and undiscovered pathways. It’s the abundance of pine trees along with tall eucalyptus. ‘Fading Autumn’ takes me back to the scent of hiking the Camino De Santiago and finding myself.

Sweet, warm, and comforting sandalwood, a touch ephemeral in the sense that you get an impression of the notes. My sample on my wrist isn't projecting much, just content to linger in that little space. It's been an hour and it's already in skin scent territory. Longevity doesn't justify price, if you get a sample, that ought to be enough. Perfect for spring and autumn.

So comforting and I love wearing it before bed because otherwise I’d notice when the scent is gone within an hour and then I’d be sad :’( Worth it just for the beautiful bottle.

I so wanted to fall in love with a fragrance from this line because the packaging is gorgeous to me! I had high hopes for Fading Autumn - woodsy notes and a romantic name... This isn't the one though. Upon spraying it's initially woodsy, airy, and a little spicy. Pleasant enough if not too unique, very gentle. However it almost immediately becomes a faint lemon cleaner smell to me, with only a whiiiiisper of woods. And nothing at all left of it after about an hour. The quiet initial topnotes carrying the little intrigue to be had only last a few seconds, and it's nearly impossible to parse them in that time

Beautiful, aromatic smelling woods when first sprayed and when you smell it from the bottle. But after a few minutes, I can smell a gasoline/petrol note. I looked online and found it mentioned in a forum that sometimes the constitution of the sandalwood note results in this gasoline note. That note destroys this perfume. And with the price tag associated with this perfume, Gucci should have done better, at least tested it better. Such a shame, because, had it not been for this note, the perfume was woody perfection, for me. And I don't like smelling like a gas station

It seems like I need to stop trying Gucci... This one is again a strongly feminine frag. It’s sweet and even a little bit heavy. I’ve detected my fave nagarmotha note in the opening, but at the drydown all Gucci frags are the same to me - candy-like and powdery, heavy sweet and for cis women after at least 25.

I actually like the smell, it's neutral woodsy, very light and airy, like a veil weaved from woods. It's relaxing and classy, simple but not boring. However, it really is scented WATER as the product name suggests, it drips like water upon application, has low sillage and is gone in one to two hours, kind of like after-shower/shave splash. I'm not going to comment on the value, but don't blind buy I suggest. P.S. It could have been much more appealing if released as EdP

Price point for sillage and longevity is a gimmick ! But still i paid full retail price for a bottle , this is hands down Gucci's top creation , extremely luxurious scent very comforting , sandalwood got the main role here , patchouli adding a kick while cedar adding depth .. Unisex leaning towards feminine Oh Gucci , Why would u reserve this gem for stupid "scented water" ?! We need it in EDP intense !
