Flora by Gucci Eau de Parfum

When this fragnance came out my mother bought it to me as a birthday gift. Why? She knows I love perfumes and own bunch of old bottles and testers and that I bought to her few also. I attached her to few fragnance actually. So she choose this because it was "just out" and saw in my room open magazine left on the page where it was commercial for the perfume. Thinking I probably like it. Rest she didn't know. She didn't study composition or anything else. So there you go. We can call it blind buy. Was I happy? Did gods spoke to my mother? Probably. Because I did accept it, not because it was birthday gift, but because I find sense in this simple composition. Yes, that's how I am. Do we must start with complaining? Yes. Because they discounted this scent and invented something "new", endless rows of variations, like trying to throw something at us to stick. What sticks to sell it stays. Frauds! Shameless frauds! How long will people put up with their madness? I have to stop here, before I get way too honest, or angry... Reason I boycott Gucci is in facts that they behave reckless and opportunistic, like others. Despucable and disgusting. Suitable to the world order we live in. The collapse of the civilisation. Where greed grabs and runs... I have first addition bottles. Yes, still one from mom and 2 others. Which of course I don't use much. Reason is obvious. One almost empty is from mom. Flora is by now a legendary pattern from Gucci archives. used on their scarf, designed for Grace Kelly, year 1966. The similar elegant design followed decoration of the very very nice bottle. Black and white. That black cord ribbon. I just love it so much. Made to to give attention to the contrast inside the composition of this wonderful perfume. Oh yes, the contrast. That's why this perfume is good. It celebrates the contrast, that exist in every female. It's part of our nature. There you go. If I can find our feminine born nature in the composition of the fragnance and I mean in the way notes are chosen I can respect that. Even if I don't like it. Because I understand some other female will like it and wear it with pride. Perfume must reach level of being parfumery art. This one does. In every aspect. Did you ever pay the attention to Sandro Botticelli's 'Primavera' painting? You will see Flora there. That's exactly what this fragnance is. It's a happy perfume even tho it is in its spirit contrast. It's like "I have ovulation, my skin is more dry today... But I love to be a woman." That's Flora. BTW. The "Flora" on the painting is pregnant. Bringing life. Bringing future. A miracle of living. Did Frida Giannini though of all this, that I wrote, or any, I don't know. I can and do hope she did. The blending of this perfume is perfect. The layering is perfect. The penetrative power, one note into other is perfect. The silage is perfect. The lasting is perfect. The dry-down is perfect. The radiance of color is perfect (deep amber color). The decency of the composition is perfect (not sexy, not vulgaire). Big mayority of so called modern perfumes you can't layer during the day. This one you could. And NO. Flora doesn't have dupe or similar scent to replace it. Forget that. It's unique fragnance. Top notes are Peony, Citruses and Mandarin Orange, calm aldehydes... I want to write about Peony. If you have garden. I do. Then you know how hard is to grow them. How different they all smell. I dare to write, that inside Flora it's not pink peony, most known color. I think, because I have them in the garden and I can smell them, inside Flora it's yellow ones. They smell slightly of vanilla/honey. But why would fragnance open with Peony splashed with adorable skin of Mandarine, Orange and some other citruses, the pretty sure Bergamote and Kumquat. I smell bitter Orange also and a bit of neroli. Beautiful. Ohh sooo beautiful. Such a magnificent opening. That itself could be simple nice Cologne. Or soap. There you go Gucci! Make the soap. Then I will change my mind and support you by buying it. Just imagine taking shower with this opening soap. Ohh yes. The opening last around half an hour. Sinking into skin. Acting with your skin. Then it becomes even more beautiful. Peony floating. Did you ever think why Peony? The ancient Greeks believed that it was an emanation of the Moon that glowed at night to drive away evil spirits, giving protection horses wherever it grows, safeguarding shepherds and their flocks, keeping the harvest from injury and preventing storms. However, much like the mandrake, its collection was surrounded by taboos and danger. Pliny said, “that of necessity it must be gathered in the night for if any man shall pluck the fruit in the daytime being seen of the woodpecker he be in danger of to lose his eyes“. Oh yes. Plants are magical creatures. Ancestors knew that. We forgot that. In the mediaeval period, the peony was used to ward off evil in its various guises. Culpeper said it was an antidote to any sickness caused by demonic possession, such as epilepsy. Gerard said it healed those who had been bewitched. The seeds steeped in hot wine were believed to prevent nightmares or strung onto a necklace to protect children from convulsions, ward off evil spirits and madness. Pennsylvanian Germans also used it to prevent fits, washing with a rag that had been tied to a peony. The plants were often grown near the door of cottages as they were considered to be able to drive away witches and storms, fairies and goblins. Peonies were widely believed to prevent nightmares, advocated as such by Pliny, and even Francis Bacon who said that it protected against “the incubus we call the mare”. I grow one infront of our house entrance. White blossoms. Peonies have been used medicinally since ancient times. In Chinese traditional herbalism, peony root (Bai Shao) is still used in the treatment of a variety of conditions, including gout, menstrual cramps, migraine. (klinheartwitch) Do you understand now WHY the Top note is magnificent witch Peony? Let's continue... After citruses calm down completely and settle themselves to stay till the end and they do, particularly Orange, we sink into middle notes. Osmanthus and Rose with aquatic additions and green notes (I assume fresh grass). Not much some would say BUT if made good and with sense and quality, it's enough. I adore Osmanthus. Again. Do you wonder why Osmanthus is Middle main note of Flora? In traditional Chinese medicine, Osmanthus tea has been used as an herbal tea for the treatment of irregular menstruation. Still believe parfumery is just a business? This Oleachea plant (gods plants) is telling us the story of "Breaking the osmanthus twig and mounting the dragon" another euphemism, in this case, for sex. Osmanthus is beautiful. Alluring. Confident. Slowly intruding... Captivating everyone around, leaving them wondering "what is that?" Together with Rose of which we know no name I can definitely say It's not Bulgarian rose. Typical for the so called floral fragnance otherwise. It's more calm Rose. I have a lot of Roses in my garden. I raise them as hobby and collect rare ones, yet I can't smell out from Flora which one they used to compose it with Osmanthus. Definitely it doesn't overshadow Osmanthus, which is fantastic, because Flora is, let's be honest, BEST modern Osmanthus fragnance. Lying peacefully on the base notes of Sandalwood, Pink Pepper and Patchouli... Is there some vetiver? Possibly. A hint. This base is so nice. It's so fitting. It's so wonderful...I am in sorrow for this fragrance. Gucci shame on you for the eternity. Because this fragnance could be a perfect gift to a woman after giving a child to her husband. Let me finish with... Osmanthus. Fragrant plant symbolized True Love and Faithfulness and the fruit tree - Fertility and Peace, and the custom had the meaning of "giving birth to noble children" and "many children and many grandchildren". That's what Flora is.

I absolutely love this perfume, I am really impressed by all Gucci fragrances (I honestly can't say I dislike any of the ones that I have smelled). Their creations are so well balanced and this is so rare nowadays, I don't like perfumes where I can pin-point one scent or the other, or the ones that have a messy multi-smell that ends up smelling like "the Mall", but Gucci does the exact opposite. I don't know how they manage to create such perfect accords. I got Flora in a set of minis and it was the one I used last (I tend to conserve the things I like so this was the hint that I love it). Besides the extremely pretty bottle, I think this scent is to die for. It is indeed floral but not heavy on the roses (which I do smell, but the top notes of fresh yellow or white roses, no the deep smell of red ones), the flowery parts (must be the peony, although I can also sense some fresh violets) blend well with the citruses which are not lemony at all, but rather more prominent as the delicate fresh-sweet smell of mandarin peels. The sandalwood is there to support everything, while the osmanthus creates a savory middle you almost want to eat. All these smells are somehow equal, with neither battling for dominance, again a rare find at least on most perfumes I've tried. I am thinking of buying a full bottle but an EDT not EDP, as I feel this perfume works better will less sillage, the EDP I have would fill the room and choke me if I spray it (I currently just dab the mini-bottle on my wrist and neck and it's enough). The dry down is not instant, I love how I can still smell the top and middle notes for hours which usually does not happen with a lot of perfumes. The scent follows me all day and I can't get enough of it. It's such a complex perfume, I love how I can find in it a bit of everything: a daytime perfume which can also go well on a summer evening date. It's so versatile that it can make you jump for joy and works well as a pick-me-up, but it also gives a boost of confidence and femininity to make you feel sexy and ready for anything. Definitely recommend, even as a blind buy. Unless you are somebody who likes strictly oriental perfumes, you would love this. It's also perfect for a gift, you really can't go wrong and I can't imagine somebody not liking it. Later edit: I found a dupe (based on reading a thread here), it's La rive - Madame in love. They are very similar, unfortunately the dupe had a bit of stickiness when I sprayed it on my hand, typical of drug store cheaper perfumes. The scent is not identical of course, the dupe is heavier (especially the flowery scents) while the original is more open, clean and more fresh (citruses prevail), most likely due to the quality of the ingredients. But considering it's 10% of the price, it's worth it. I have to say the dry down, after several hours, is identical: a sweet, fresh violet scent.

This. Is. A. Masterpiece. Being the miserable geezer that I am, I submitted a review of "Flora EDT" many months ago where I think I stated that it was too weak, and I couldn't smell much of anything. In the name of transparency, I did have a tiny sample, and suspect there are some minor differences between that and this here EDP. "Flora EDP" is, however, the most beautiful, feminine, elegant, kinda-sexy scent. Yes, Perfumites. I actually find this a little bit sexy. Is it weird to say: If I was a guy, I'd love smelling this on a girl? The opening of citruses and mandarin orange is - no joke - possibly my favourite citrus opening. It's probably tied with "Coco Mademoiselle" is that respect, actually. But - by Jove - it is heavenly. It's beautiful, soft, vibrant, and glamourous.. And warm! Did I mention warm?! That orange is warm and enveloping with zero sharpness! How is peony such a perfect floral note? Gentle, sweet without being cloying, and ever-elegant! The added osmanthus does have that gentle slight apricot smell that is a little syrupy and bloody divine! The rose is very subtle. For those terrified of choking, heavy rose - FEAR NOT! "Flora" cradles you in her soft, sweet, gentle hands. The patchouli really helps this last! As gentle as the scent itself is; it actually hangs around. Rest assured, you never get that dirty patchouli scent here; all the patchouli does is help this last, and GOD BLESS IT FOR THAT! The sandalwood and pink pepper are present, but don't overwhelm. I honestly think the pink pepper stops this from devolving into something boring. When you sniff yourself a few hours into wearing this, you get a nice, gently-invigorating kick from it. The sillage and projection aren't monsters, though...but, in this perfume ...I feel if it invaded your nostrils, it would ruin the gentle nature of "Flora". The bottle is perfect: Heavy glass, unique hexagonal shape, delicate cap, and adorably pretty black bow. I also completely acknowledge this is a PERFECT spring scent, but it's so damn comforting and warming that I'll wear this year-round. One of my absolute favourite floral scents: A gift of warm orange with fresh peony. A modern classic - and deserves to be recognised as such. Stunning! Stunning! I don't know why I've been avoiding Gucci perfumes all this time. Recalling in my memory there was this episode 4-5 years ago in the perfume store. Gucci Flora line had just reached the market and everyone was so excited about them, so they were way too popular at the time and mainstream. That's something I dislike because people want the same product and we end up smelling all the same which is boring. Long story short, I sniffed all of them and found them very alcoholic, but I admit it was my fault because I was sniffing them all at once without leaving the right amount of time to my nose to relax. During all this time Gucci Flora meant nothing to me and I was not even interested in them. But one day my female cousin told me she had smelled Flora on her friend and loved the perfume. That's when I started to gain interest in it. As soon as I found my self at the shop I went spaying it on my arm and paper strips and guess what? I loved it even better. This is so feminine and elegant and classy. It is a fruity floral to me. I love the peach note and peonia. But this frag wouldn't have been so special if it didn't feature the pink pepper note. You see there is this sort of continuum between Gucci Flora, Guilty, and Première and the element that acommunates them is the Pink pepper that confers the sour, tart feeling. It it wasn't for this note they would be floral or oriental scents like so many others in the market. I've smelled both the edp and edt of flora but the edp is way better and with more character and more longlasting. The edt lacks something, it's not that deep and the peach note that I love so much is not prominent. Flora edp is perfect for any occasion and season. Whether you're wearing a casual and chic style, a dress, a tailleur this perfume will always go perfect. Definitely a great frag to have.

This might be the best form of Osmanthus I’ve smelled in a perfume, usually I get a very leathery smell from osmanthus that’s what made me hesitate about getting this one but at the end I decided to take the risk and I got it! First of all I’m not a citrusy scent lover, but here the citruses blends with the peony and gives it just the right softness without getting that sharp headache feeling Then osmanthus and rose is where you get the sweet fruity feeling combined with the fresh rose scent, I have no idea how they did it but everything blinds perfectly that you can’t get one note more than the other! At the base you get that sandalwood, but the patchouli is not strong though nearly not there. And I figured out my hesitation was nonsense because this isn’t a dark or overpowering or headaching fragrance, it’s soooo feminine and joyful. I saw it first at a 2008 Turkish tv show called “aşk-ı memnu” which translates for forbidden love, the main character “bihter” had it on her vanity while her lover got in the room secretly and smelled it from the cap, very sensual moment that fits both the perfume and the show. Unfortunately it doesn’t last long on my skin maximum for 3 hours

This scent is just magical and it makes me feel optimistic, charismatic and sensual all at the same time. I live in a cold climate where it rains alot and this cozy, uplifting scent works perfectly during fall and winter. The citrus notes paired with the osmanthus creates a fizzy fresh citrus peach like scent. While the sandalwood makes it woody and creamy. I find the edp to have almost an amber like quality to it which makes it super long lasting and sophisticated. I have both the edt and the edp. I like using the edt for work since it's not as loud and is a bit ''see through'' while the edp you get such a luxurious long lasting blend, and a versatile perfume for your money. If I could only have one I'd go for the edp. So I sprayed two spritz of this at 2pm, and later in the evening at 10pm I walked passed my boyfriend and he was like woow what are you wearing? He said it smelled like a breath of fresh air, as he smelled closer on my wrist he said it somehow also smells like caramel, like a caramelized orange without being too sweet or synthetic.

In the first 15 minutes this was like golden-orange flowers on top of a bed of whipped cream in the sunshine. The cream is subtle, it’s not gourmand cake-strong, but I’m glad it’s there. This fragrance is both warm and cool, like one of the first nice days of spring where the sun feels amazing but the breeze is cold. Gucci Flora initially made me think of Princesse Marina de Bourbon Reverence, even though they have little in common note-wise. So, I sprayed Reverence (which I am fond of) on my other arm for comparison. Both perfumes definitely smell juicy-floral in the first hour. Though they are like sister scents to me, Reverence smells more green/woody. Gucci Flora dried down to a beautiful peony-Osmanthus-whipped cream scent on my skin. I will strongly consider buying a full bottle when my sample is gone. I could see this being a new signature for spring and summer.

An underestimated one. Not unique. Not groundbreaking. But somehow it's beautiful and has quality in its simplicity. It's far from Bloom, their newer release, but it's not that much lower. What I smell is a softly sweet balmy scent, sweetness that couldn't bother anyone, very feminine, a moderately sweet peony. The perfume is not as citrusy as the notes indicate. A lot would state it smells shampooish. Just like Chanel Eau tendre. In fact if you like the latter, chances are you are going to like Flora too. The osmanthus does get prevalent, with its fruity apricoty ascents, does not dissapoint. Simple and cute. Sweet and sour. The scent deepens with carefully measured additions of santal and patchouli never becoming overpowering. Basically it's how Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet should have smelled like, but instead we got a mih meh smell.

This is beautiful! Feminine, elegant, luminous, soft and uplifting. It smells like something from another era, but doesn’t smell dated, if you know what i mean. The opening is warm and floral,later it turns into a soft and slightly sweet powder with a floral touch. I posted a topic in the forum looking for a perfume that smelled like a flower warmed by the spring sun and to me, this fragrance feels exactly like that! So pretty and sexy! And peaceful at the same time. This is just delightful! I am excited to try the edt! I imagine a lady from the 1800’s wearing it. She is beautiful and feminine, loves to have fun and has a captivating naughty laugh. Sillage is soft ( turns quickly into a skin scent, unfortunately). Longevity is moderate. I recommend it to all women, regardless of age. Final note: 10/10

I have the EDP an at first spray this seemed like it would be too much--it's a little like flipping on a light in the middle of the night--a bit startling. It settles down quickly though and feels like a proper, confident woman's scent. After it settles in, it's neither too sweet or too sultry. It's unapologeticly feminine in a bold way. I have a soft spot for peony and rose combined and those two notes come through well on me. Anything with sandalwood is typically appealing to me too. I do find that this changes as I wear it, but it's a powerhouse of longevity on me (rare these days) and the changes are subtle and slow, with the sandalwood and pepper featuring more than the patchouli. The slow pace and subtle change after bold opening might make these changes hard to detect on some skin though.

This is SO pretty. I’m not a floral girl, but one sniff of this and i KNEW i had to have a full bottle!! It’s light, dainty, and a bit shampoo-ey without being soapy. It just smells so... PRETTY! On first spray, I immediately get hit with the pear. It’s gorgeous and juicy. The citruses are not loud, but they complement the pear so well and gives it a bit of a sparkly, bright edge. The osmanthus really shines through for me even at the opening, and it’s what made me immediately decide to get it. I love honey oolong osmanthus tea, and this is definitely reminiscent of it to me! Love love love. I’m definitely looking forward to buying the biggest bottle. I can already see myself going through my 50ml quickly—and I only just got it today! This is smooth, but still flowery. I mostly get the flowers with a faint vanilla like sandalwood and peach (osmanthus), these notes keep it from being sharp. It's almost creamy. It still smells like something that could've just come out today. Gucci Bloom gives me a headache, it's too sharp, but Flora is perfect. I bought Flora EDT right when it came out in 2009, and it's the only perfume bottle I've ever finished. I just bought a new bottle of EDP with a December of 2018 batch code and it smells so similar to how I remember. The EDP is just stronger, creamier, and less sparkling... which is perfect for me. I forgot how much I love it. I'm buying a backup, and I don't currently own backups of anything. Yay for finding a new signature scent, even if it's not "new" to me!

This perfume was amongst the first perfumes I bought when I started working, it wasn't that expensive for someone who just starting working on entry level pay an yet still a designer perfume haha... I bought 50ml if I'm not mistaken and finished the whole bottle but still keeping the bottle as display because I wasn't planning to repurchase. Then I heard this perfume is going to be discontinued or maybe already discontinued by now, decided to buy full bottle. Now I remember why I bought this at the first place...such a gorgeous floral scent, it doesn't scream feminine but still smelling feminine. I can't describe it exactly with words. I'm gonna enjoy this scent until the last drop and might purchase a back up bottle if I still see it being sold.

The osmanthus flower is a very peculiar floral note...it can get very sweet & sickly. I love this note, but I haven't found a single fragrance that doesn't turn into pee on my skin with this flower... But for some reason Gucci Flora EDP does an OUTSTANDING job preventing this from happening. First spray a burst of peony, oranges & citruses (no lemons) which quickly settles into the sweet osmanthus and later into a slightly peppery candied patchouli. Basically a sweet, summery floral with a dash of citrus and patchouli, actually smells very very sweet like candy on my skin. I absolutely love it, it reminds me of springtime, smells innocent and classy, perfect for me. One of my favourite hot weather scents...want to purchase it again!

This was a blind purchase for me based on reviews I read below! On the first spray I got a nice whiff of a citrusy orange scent that was very pleasing to my senses which lasted for over a hour or so. Next was a lovely powdery rose scent that is just lovely, beautiful. My husband said I smelled yummy!! These are the notes, including the, pink pepper and patchouli, that I smelled the most on my skin. It has a long sillage for me with over 8 hours of longevity!! I love it so much that I will most likely get another bottle which I enjoy looking at, for it has a vintage design, Safe blind buy for floral lovers!! Oh yes, as time goes by the scent just get better!!

When I wear this perfume, the moment I spray it on me, it is as if Donna Summer's I feel love begins to play out loudly. I mean it! I really love Flora EDP. If I had to choose just one word to describe it, that word would be ethereal. Maybe it's the combination of the base notes and the osmanthus, when it dries down is simply perfect on me. The patchouli, which can create olfactory tragedies, is smoothly blended with the sandalwood and together they add depth to the scent. The projection is good, not too invasive but noticeable. Bright, feminine and kind of mysterious. Thank you Frida, this is pure perfection.

I can't believe I missed this perfume so many years ago. I was looking for the perfect all year round work scent that matched my taste and style. I smelt Gorgeous Gardenia EDP tonight and yes it smelt nice, sweet and creamy which is my type of scent, but I needed something a bit more serious, so the sales person brought me this and it's so beautifully balanced. It's elegant, just sweet enough and with that citrus note, it gave the fragrance some sharpness but non-offensive. Others might think it's just another floral scent but as a work scent, this has it all. I would wear this for other occasions also.

I flat out adore this fragrance. It's just the right amount of everything to my nose, soft and feminine, without being just "girly." Why, oh why did they discontinue it? I have a couple of back up bottles of this, and when those are gone I will be so sad. You can still find this gem on places like ebay, but the price is usually ridiculous. I know that Soki London did a perfume that was supposedly inspired by this one, and I have it, but it's not nearly as beautiful as this old favorite. If Gucci ever brought this one back I would be at the front of the line buying it. Beautiful perfume.

My sister used Flora today and I completely remembered why I loved it. Flora used to be one of my faves back in the day and definitely back on my wish list. Gucci's enchanting fragrance is sweetness mixed with floral. Amid fruit and flower extracts, it is unique, sophisticated, sexy, and edgy. Inspired by princesses from the past, present, and future. Completely ethereal, Flora is for the female who is classy, and loves a touch of nostalgia. This fragrance lasts for hours which is a plus for many. If you like sweet scents that are clean this is the one for you!

This fragrance right here its amazing and also for those women who hates loud fragrance But this one is a masterpiece. It has a floral note and a citrusy note and a peony and also the patchouli that i like and this fragrance is gentle and fresh and floral and feminine and the performance is good although is a 2011 batch i had. I recommend buying it blind its safer and more easy to use during the daily use or on smaller parties and its simple to use. Bottle design:9/10 The smell:9.1/10 The longevity:7/10 The projection:7/10 The price:8.6/10 Overall:8.1/10

Thick and syrupy but not cloying or too sweet. This is a beautiful floral orangey fragrance to my nose. It's not my usual kind of smell, the notes were weirdly addictive when I tried a tester in the shop. I could not stop going back and sniffing the paper! This is good in all weather, apart from really really warm days i think. I think its more daytime appropriate. I've not had compliments when wearing it but I like it, and thats what is important that you like your fragrance. Its really long lasting, couple of sprays will keep you going all day.

This fragrance is amazing. In my top ten. It's a beautiful warm orange and fresh osmanthus fragrance, with a lovely.... brightness. Maybe from the pink pepper? It is the fragrance I reach for when I have an important meeting, or want to feel optimistic. Simular to Givenchy Ange Ou Demon Le Secret, but more professional. So if you like that fragrance, you would probably like this one too. Perfect for work. Great projection. I always get complimented when I wear this fragrance. Makes me feel happy, classy, and sophisticated. A safe blind buy.

☆ Hello Miss Gucci Flora , Where should I begin? This smells delightful, and the lasting power for the eau de parfum is lengthy with impressive projection. She can be worn all four seasons because this blossoms according to the climate always setting a tone of femininity & divinity. I reach for this one often because I can always just spray and go not worrying about touch up’s with it’s astounding lasting power. Peony & Citrusy whispers surround my space & it brings a delightful comfort for my senses to adore. What’s not to love? ☆

Omg. I wanted this perfume when it came out bc I thought it would be a great mature replacement for viva la juicy as my new signature. I was 23. I finally tHought I'd gotten around to buying it 3 years later. I didn't care much for it anymore and I couldn't figure out why. 5 1/2 yrs later my bottle is still full and in great condition still. Well it turns out I'd accidentally bought the eau fresh version. Well I finally have the original and it's everything I remember smelling on that shopping day on rodeo 8 yrs ago. I love it

I was looking for a fragrance with osmanthus and was recommended Gucci Flora. I am so happy with this recommendation! While osmanthus is weak here, Flora is still amazing to me. Truly rich scent, literally and figuratively. It smells like wealth and has richness in its depth. I can see how for some people it might seem generic, but everyone should try it on their skin to see how it will open up. It is a great fit for day and evening, date and work. So it is a very practical fragrance, my second favorite now <3 after Nomade.

This right of the bat gives me a feeling of peace and summer. A fragrance that smells so heavenly yet so reserved, it is one of my ultimate floral fragrances that I must get but there is something that is putting me off from buying this so I am basically fluctuating between love and like. I haven't tested the EDT version but maybe it will have a different kick to it than this EDP version anyway I still love/like it and think it is a must for floral fragrance lovers. You can't go wrong with this formula. Simple yet amazing.

WHY must brands discontinue the best from their brand always? Gucci is being added to the infamous discontinue list along with Guerlain, Versace and Thierry Mugler. This scent is what I would pick if I had to choose a signature scent. This fragrance has niche quality to it. It projects like a beast, lasts forever on the skin and gets major compliments. I have gone through maybe 8 or 9 bottles at this point in my life. I hope they reintroduce this scent in the new bottle design, otherwise I will have to stock up.

I love this scent. A juicy beautiful floral, which is clean rather than sweet. A little powdery, but not too much. I always get complimented on my perfume whilst wearing it. I wouldn't really say this is overly floral, as the name would suggest - this smells more fruity to me. It packs quite a punch and lasts all day quite easily, but the scent isn't too overpowering. I wear this all year round and either day or night, it really is lovely and a perfume that I have purchased again and again.

Lovely, elegant floral fragrance, appropriate for teenagers & up. - It always made me feel expensive. - Compliment getter. I was a loyal consumer as I have purchased multiple bottles over a span of +10 years, pretty much ever since it came on the market. I like how sandalwood brings the sweetness down a notch as I'm not a big fan of super sweet fragrances. I heard that is discontinued which is disheartening because this happened with other Gucci classics such as Gucci Rush :((((

Okay, this is going to sound really weird, but to me, Gucci Flora smells like... grass. But not dirty grass—it smells like clean grass surrounded by white flowers, and on top of all that, I smell baby powder. I really like it; it's my current signature scent. I always get compliments when I wear it, which is nice. I almost never wear it alone—I love layering it with Victoria's Secret Fresh & Clean body lotion. The combination of the two is absolutely beautiful.

Dearly beloved, we are all gathered here today to morn the loss of this shining osmanthus star.✨ I’m gutted they discontinued this gem of a fragrance and replaced it with such basic floral notes in the new rendition! This was a sweet but also fresh & clean osmanthus sent with a honey suckle vibe to my nose. Finding a sent with strong osmanth notes can be really hard, so I’m sad to see this one go. But I’m stocking up while I still can for decent prices.

In the dog days patchouli comes up stronger than ever but it’s not invasive and headache-inducing. The perfume becomes very pepperish but at the same time remains cosy-floral and lasts the whole day — I sprayed it at 8 in the morning, I’ve been out and about until late this afternoon, gone through a sweaty jogging session and 13 hours later the scent is still here. I can’t help but love it. I’ve almost finished my bottle and will surely repurchase one.

This somehow gets me a lot of compliments. I used to love it very much, but it's one of those things that I get tired of eventually. Gets rather unpleasantly sour during humid days. Maybe it's just me, though. It's been nearly a year since I last used it. I'm sure if I re-visit the bottle on cooler days, I would find that I like it again, even for just a season. In any case, I'll give it a thumbs up for all those days past that I loved it very much.

This is one of my all time favourite scents. I’m on my second bottle and I use it sparingly as it projects so well. For me, it’s not an everyday scent although it was 5 years ago. Now I use it whenever I just want to smell delicious. Usually on a night out or on a date. Its just as the notes describe. Floral, fresh, fruity, sweet and warm. An overall sexy female scent. I feel like everyone needs this fragrance in their collection!

Gucci has somehow figured out how to bottle a beautiful spring day. I get mostly delightful osmanthus and peony with hints of citrus. It becomes a little sweeter as time passes. After a day at work I could still smell it quite clearly. Longevity is excellent. One coworker would smile big and say 'gosh you smell good' every time we crossed paths lol. This stuff is absolutely uplifting. Spring days and smiles for everyone! :o)

Flora EDP is a beautiful perfume. So Simple and yet so fresh, flowery, juicy, well blended and ultimately so feminine. It's a perfume that lifts you up, makes you feel innocent and pure like a flower. A pretty scent to be worn everyday and also in special occasions. The scent for as much as I can remember hasn't changed but I do remember that the bottle and packaging used to be more elaborate whereas now they're much simple.

The first Gucci scent I’m interested in and they discontinue it! Many notes I love: osmanthus, peony, sandalwood, rose, orangey notes. I got to test it out a couple of times and was just about buy it and then poof, gone. This felt like a warm, truly feminine and happy floral, something I could have worn even in the Finnish winter and even all year round. I really like the bottle, too. Hopefully it will make a comeback!🥀🌹

I am obsessed with this perfume!!!! the longevity isn't the greatest as I usually get maybe 3-4 hours out of it but nonetheless still a favourite of mine. the only words I can use to describe is feminine , sweet and very cool. the note I can smell the most in the fragrance is peony. although I don't mind because I love the smell of peonies but id definitely repurchase a million times if I need too

Super fresh and powerful fruity floral scent. Perfect for uplifting mood. Maybe sharp at first sniff but it gets softer later. Every time I'm wearing this one I feel like I'm laying on a field of peony and osmanthus and has citruses juice splash all over you. Hahaha It has incredible longevity and super strong sillage (obviously because it's EDP). So please be careful to not spray it too much.

This smells like a pretty girl. It might not be mass apealing or sexy, but it feels peaceful, clean and sophisticated. It has the perfect balance among floral, citrusy, sweet and fresh. Luckily, I'm brave enough to wear in public whatever pleases me and not to please other people, especially men. But I never overspray any perfume because who knows, people can be sensitive to perfumes.

The OG Flora, bestest floral fragrance of all time. So elegant and feminine. I don't really understand why they ruined this one with the flankers that no one asked for. I have an old bottle with me with a few mL left and I sniff on it every few days because i find this one hard to find now. It really is an all rounder for all occasions and all seasons. This is a crowd pleasing perfume Gourmand sweet creamy and fresh at the same time The pink pepper gives it a lovely sharpness at the end I used to wear this yeaaaaars ago and i remember loving it, so i bought it again this month, oh man this is soooooo nice and clean 😍 lately i've been wearing heavy complicated perfumes so it was nice going back to this effortless perfume 🥰

Flora is a masterpiece of balance! It's beautiful, sensual, and fresh. On me it smells like a clean skin after shower with an expensive floral soap. It holds its own throughout and doesn't fluctuate between the notes. Impressive sillage and longevity. I'm so glad I've tried it as it is really unique among a sea of sugar bombs. Sophisticated sweetness is all I can say.

This perfume is not what i expecting to love. I've imagined of a sharp and heavy floral scent with a citrus opening. I was wrong. All i can smell is sweetness from osmanthus flower, peony and rose come together at middle. It's a warm, sweet, happy scent. I'm very enjoy this. It's easy to wear, suitable for all weather. Not too in-the-face scent, no harming. Love!

I’ve had my eye on this perfume for some time now. I own a small vial sample of the EDT and fell in love with the soft citrus smell. To my surprise the EDP version has the most beautiful Osmanthus and Rose notes I failed to noticed on the EDT version. I’m glad I was able to find this gem at my local Ulta store on sale for half the price. Absolutely gorgeous.

It's like a thin powder of thousands dried flowers : roses, carnations, violets... and other And i also hear in Flora scent of cacao powder with a little bit note of burnt sugar & floral pollen. Pink peonies and osmanthus echo from far away. Such join of notes, on my opinion, gives Flora a delicate chic. Warm, bodily, cozy, alluring fragrance for autumn.

It was my top5 favorite but now i have so many perfumes that i forgot about flora gucci. I love the scent, before nothing was like it, but now i can smell other fragrances with similar scent. Britney spears midnight fantasy is one of them which is far cheaper & has good staying power. But i do find the smell of flora gucci better than the others.

OMG, this is officially the one on top of all perfumes i've ever used LOL, to me, it smells FREAKING delicious, like foods, like I just wanna drink or devour it if I can! Surprisingly, I tend to fall for any perfumes that has rose or citrus notes within, and Gucci Flora has both! Now you know why I'm so obsessed over it! LOVEEEEE ITTTTT

When initially sprayed this gorgeous fragrance slams you with a fresh bright scent but a few minutes later the most beautiful peony, warm cozy sandalwood scent is left. I could smell it on and off of my skin for hours. It felt like a big hug from someone that you hold dear. I am in love with this beauty.

One of the best floral fragrances out there :) Fresh but not sporty or overwhelmingly citrus Slightly sweet but not sugary Special, not a typical floral A little bit heavy so one spritz in the air and walk through it and you're good to go Oh and the bottle is amazing (I'm a sucker for cute bottles) :D
