Flora Gorgeous Magnolia

Versatility in a bottle. I imagine it fit for any weather or occassion. Romantic, bridal, workplace, free time. It is clean, warm, gentle, sweet. Radiates gently first the warm and cozy then floral notes. It is a novelty out of the parts. I cannot say I recognize the separate notes. Tulle in scent form. One spray from my sample radiates nicely and reminds me of Kayali-style but better, with better projection and yummier notes. It smells like I wanted Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow to smell. Truly fits the advertising campaign. Just ordered a bottle as I will get a gorgeous mirror with it but I must say this is the scent that I imagined for myself recently, one very modern style that I will love. It gives a gorgeous, hot and sweet aura that feels gourmand. It is however majorly gentle. I feel praline, not that different from La Vie Est Belle. I even wonder how it will do in heat but it is subtle, so I have high hopes for it. Stylish, chic, feminine, a bit childish truly fluffy animals and garden flowers. With time the floral notes come to the front, still surrounded by warm embrace. It changes but does not change its delectable character. I did not know this collection, only their older versions that were rather banal florals though pretty. But this is so much more. I thought these are just repackaged but no, they are new scents. In a way one can also say it smells like a good shampoo or conditioner. But not quite. I perceive it as more of a dessert. Coconut mousse eaten in a garden with blooming magnolia. I already liked the banana Gorgeous Orchid and the suble shampoo-like Gorgeous Gardenia that I've met this year. With the Gardenia Intense also making a good impression on me. But this is the best out of the lot. Only Gorgeous Jasmine awaits my evaluation. For such a long time I did not know they are so much fun. Safe, but not boring, a lovely gift as this is hard not to like. Especially young, delicate females will like this one. My new love. At 4 hours mark the floral notes become more present and the overall effect reminds me of shower gel. At 5 hours mark woody notes come to the front. At 6 hours mark it is pretty much gone, it remains a sheer skin scent. On the plus side, when at work after 6 hours you start to be stressed and heated you wont be leaving clouds of your perfums around but rather a creamy-rice-woods aura close to you. And completely gone before your afternoon or evening perfums, which might be a plus. And while it lasts it is adorable. And so unlike classical perfums. Cleaniness and cuteness. Also a closed spaces scent - performs admirably inside. On a walk - I do not feel it around. My bottle sprays a super fine mist - I love it.

I have tested it in a perfume store, This fragrance is a balanced sweety coconut, dewberry in the top notes, dewberry here come like chocolate scent exactly, in the middle notes dewberry gradually transforming to similar scent of blueberries plus fresh Orange with pure white flowers and Ylang-Ylang, at the dry down, the scent will be exactly like middle notes in addition of balanced amount of Musk, Patchouli and Woods come from the background. This perfume is very pure balanced feminine easy to use and love. If you didn't smell this perfume before, I advise that you can blind buy if you interest balanced Calm coconut fragrances, I think if you interest perfumes like; "Yara from Lattafa", "Qaed Al Fursan Unlimited Lattafa" or "Alien Goddess Mugler" you will like this perfume with exist of simple differences between perfumes notes. Okay, let me just say it- now that I finally managed to buy it, this perfume is everything. Out of all the colors this perfume is available in, the purple one is hands-down my favorite. It’s one of those perfumes that immediately makes you feel like your best self the second it hits your skin. It’s powerful in this elegant dreamy way, and honestly? It’s kind of addictive. The scent is this perfect mix of sweet, floral, and warm. It opens with this juicy freshness of the coconut and berry in there, and then it melts into this gorgeous magnolia note that is creamy and rich without being too heavy. There's something about it that feels romantic and soft, but still confident and grown. It's not just “pretty”, it's literally captivating. What I love most is how balanced it is. It's floral, yes, but not your typical powdery floral which I personally hate. There's depth and warmth to it, almost like vanilla or musk in the base, which makes it feel cozy and sensual at the same time. It's the kind of scent that wraps around you like a beautiful aura... and then you don't just smell good, you smell expensive and unforgettable. The lasting power is amazing too! Personally I can still smell it on my clothes and wrists hours later, and it wears so beautifully throughout the day. Every time I wear it I catch myself randomly sniffing my wrist like a weirdo because I just can't get enough. If I had to describe it in a feeling, it's like walking into a sunlit garden wearing a silk dress, feeling confident, magnetic, and soft all at once. It's a whole vibe. 11/10. My holy grail. Please never stop making this Gucci!

I am completely enamored with this scent. Just what I was searching for, an ultra-modern, light, safe scent that is both delicious and refreshing and innocent. Applied today after my shower, when I wanted something pleasing, inviting and neutral, served as a perfect prolongation of in-shower freshness. It is exactly such a scent, water included, or maybe steam - your body washed with gentle floral gel. Wearing this makes me feel exactly as fresh as if I never left the shower. And it is gentle, pampering and clean. So feminine at that. Sweet but balanced. Warm but fresh. Floral but edible. My shower gel was Tesori d'Oriente Ikigai - cherry blossom and rice water (a perfect fit for Irresistible by Givenchy, but nice with this Flora, too) I was meeting up with a group of people feeling soft and safe. Not a chance anyone was bothered by my perfums, but I feel them on myself all the time. I love my showers. And how a steamy bathroom smells afterwards. How cool to prolong that feeling. Similar effect to Versace Woman. 6 hours and still as strong as after application in 22°C (it is gentle from the start, just stayed on the same intensity till now). But after 6 hours it disappears and needs reapplying imo. I now know all the Floras and this is my clear favourite, while Gorgeous Gardenia is similar and Gorgeous Orchid much stronger and clearly floral with banana facets. The Intense Gardenia version is juicier, but disappears fast on me. The Jasmine very old fashioned and not for me.

Creamy Floral Woods with a Berry Accent... I've tested this a few times now. It's an enjoyable wear, for sure. Opens with a burst of dewberry & coconut, but already the woods are pressing through. The coconut I get here isn't a toasted coconut, but more of a creamy coconut frosting. As it transitions to the heart, it gets creamy florals, with a hint of wax from the magnolia, all mixing with the blonde woods which gives me a banana Laffy Taffy dusted in powder with a berry top note. The berry top note stays for quite awhile, but eventually fades. There's definitely an illusion of tonka bean in the base, which has a stronger presence than patchouli to my nose. Contrast to Reb'l Fleur Rihanna: These are different, but there may be some similarites with coconut, patchouli & berries, but Reb'l Fleur is much fruitier with a more forward patchouli, while Flora Gorgeous Magnolia is much creamier & smoother. Both have good performance, but slightly better for Reb'l Fleur. Overall: enjoyable creamy, sweet floral-woody scent with good performance. I look forward to testing this in summer to see if I can get more of a bloom from the magnolia. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

The perfume that sparked my recent love of scents (Especially female ones a man could pull off). This smells like creamy blackberries in a way that fits amazingly into British Autumn. Despite nothing about this scent being warming, it feels quite cosy and inviting in a way that just feels right for me. It's very well blended, and smells both fresh and sticky somehow. It does have a little bit of the "fruity shampoo" smell I don't typically enjoy, but in this scent the lactonic undertones make it feel more like a shower lotion or creame; I don't know why, but I like that much more. About 6 months later into my fragrance journey, I can see the roots of my passion for powder and musk in this scent and think it will remain one of the few fruity scents I will pick over my growing menagerie of powdery smells (anais anais is on its way!). I regret only buying 30ml at the time in a coy attempt to not comitt to a hobby that might not last, but I will certainly repurchase this in a larger bottle (or get a larger one in a great sale if that comes first). Easily the best Gucci Gorgeous scent.

Absolutely adore this fragrance. I tried just about every perfume in the shop and this is the one I went home with. I wear it more than anything else and get compliments on it constantly. It’s not a complex scent, but the simplicity is part of what I love about it. I love coconut scents but they’re often too sugary or immature for me, and they rarely last long. This one lasts all day! Bright, sweet but not overpowering, perfectly balanced. The coconut lasts throughout and is probably the strongest element here, and I’d say it’s more fruity than floral. I do definitely notice the magnolia, which is a difficult scent to capture, but I think the jasmine is actually a little stronger — moreso than the Gucci jasmine, which has an overpowering aldehyde scent for me. The musk is subtle and creamy. It’s not in the scent pyramid but I also notice a hint of vanilla. I don’t get the patchouli or blonde woods, nothing herbal or woodt in this one, but there’s just a touch of spice that strengthens in the dry down. Surprised this one isn’t higher rated. I’d call this a safe blind buy.

This is the only one from this Gucci line that I have tested and I have to say I love it! I have the travel spray and I find it just so easy to wear and enjoy. It is lighthearted and happy, a mood-booster. Delightful! It's not a true gourmand for me but there is a richness to the flowers in this that is addicting, possibly from the coconut addition. I am a white floral lover so I am already the perfect audience for this. I don't love the bottle design so had not gravitated to this line, but the magnolia flanker called to my southern spirit, and I am so glad that I gave it a whirl. There are a lot of negative reviews on this, and I get that we're all different, but it's hard for me to understand what is not to like here! My husband rarely comments on my fragrances but he made a point of telling me I smelled lovely, which made me happy. Downside is it doesn't last very long so reapplication is necessary - but I truly don't mind because I get to enjoy those addictive top notes more often! Easy to love, this one!

I'M GONNA SUE GUCCI. This fragrance is gorgeous, juicy, delicious, and fresh. I'm gonna sue Gucci for advertising Gorgeous Gardenia in this series more Gorgeous Magnolia. Like seriously this one contains every pros of the other gorgeous floras series. It's delicious and gourmand like gorgeous orchid. Fresh like gorgeous jasmine and for sure sweet and delightful like gorgeous gardenia. It's good for both daily and occasional usage and it's crazy cus every single time I wear this someone compliments me and asks my perfume. You see it's a rich(or at least richer than others in this collection) and yet a minimalist fragrance and that's why it's delightful for everyone and suitable for everywhere. It starts with a juicy red berries scent and with a touch of delicate coconut that makes it feel like your eating Raspberry tart. It continues with red berries fading into background so can coconut can shine and as a matter of fact the soft floral scent is there from strat to the end.

Very smooth and pleasant. Creamy and moderately sweet. Nothing sharp or bitter here, very "safe". I have a hard time with patchouli in perfumes, but thankfully I can not smell the patchouli here at all, not even in the drydown. Consider this perfume 'patchouli hater approved'. This is how I wanted Moonlight by Ariana Grande to smell like (Moonlight just smells weird to me, like all the other Ariana perfumes I've try) Tried it on my skin and after 1 hour it became a skin scent (does not project), but 6 hours later I can still smell it on my skin (faintly). Once upon a time I had a (local brand) perfume inspired by 'Dior Hypnotic poison' (without the almond note) and the drydown of Flora Gorgeous Magnolia reminds me of that. Overall it's a wonderful perfume I will consider buying in the future (can't justify paying full price on it). Edit: spotted another review here of someone mentioning "old formula of hypnotic poison". I knew I can't be the only one smelling it.

I first smelled Gucci’s Gorgeous Magnolia perfume in my dorm room after a roommate's friend sprayed it. From the first smell, I instantly fell in love with it and knew I needed to purchase it. The scent comes off floral, creamy, and powdery with a hint of musk underneath. It is incredibly sweet and feminine. I definitely tend to enjoy it for a night out in the spring and summer months. Due to this, I find that the perfume lacks a super substantial or complex scent that other perfumes tend to have. However, I personally tend to enjoy airy, feminine scents, so this aspect attracted me rather than turned me off. This perfume tends to last far longer on clothing compared to skin (rarely lasts). I find myself reapplying a lot, which is a little frustrating for the price point. However, this is common for light floral perfumes. Overall this has become my most repurchased and second favorite perfume that I wear.

One of the best scents I've ever received from a perfume subscription service. It's just so likeable. I'm somewhat surprised people don't talk more about it. It does have that Juicy Couture berry top note, but I also smell some white florals and a very pretty vanilla base that doesn't smell cheap. The woods are subdued, nothing crazy or abrasive. It is musky in nature. I don't smell magnolia particularly, which tends to make a perfume smell dated imo. It is sweet but not necessarily gourmand in the strict sense, it's definitely not a freshie. This is a medium heavy scent, probably not the best for summer but great for every other season. It does have a mass appealing DNA, I can sort of smell elements of Juicy Couture, and maybe Black Opium but I prefer this to those. My bf likes it and I'd bet most men would. I'm super impressed. I haven't smelled such a well blended scent in a long time.

This is by far my favorite release of 2023 and definitely in my top scents of all time. This scent is so bright and summery, elegant but youthful. The patchouli and dewberry work together so well, bringing out the best in each other and the star of the show, magnolia. The blend isn't as complicated as you'd expect a luxury fragrance to be, but I think the 'less is more' approach was executed perfectly with this scent. It carries a select variety of high quality notes that complement each other exceedingly well. The bottle itself is also so wonderful, the atomizer disperses so well and allows the fragrance to set beautifully on the skin, and the materials from which it is constructed look and feel so classy and luxurious. I will definitely carry this scent in my collection for years to come.

I love this perfume, but I’m still learning how to work with it. Some days, it smells like the most delicious, slightly sour berry; on other days, it reminds me of a specific nail polish remover with a magnolia scent that we have in our country. Here are my observations so far: -This perfume doesn’t layer well with other perfumes or scented products. -The most compliments I’ve received while wearing this fragrance were when I applied it right after a shower, without any other scents. -Interestingly, it seems to work especially well after I work out—it pairs surprisingly well with my sweat! I think this might actually be my favorite workout perfume. -Avoid over spraying or applying it to your hair. -This fragrance seems to thrive in heat and moisture, which really brings out its magic.

I purchased a travel-sized version and it consistently reminded me of a beloved fragrance. After much thought, I realized its scent profile closely resembles Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends by Lattafa (2020). The similarity is striking. It raises the question: are original designers taking cues from clone makers? To clarify, I absolutely adore this scent profile. Gucci's rendition is subtly softer and more floral, while Khaltaat boasts greater sillage. I have yet to assess its longevity. Considering the cost, I am inclined to stick with Khaltaat.

STUNNING, delicious, i love this scent. i havent tried the whole flora collection yet but im beyond happy with this one. the yummy berry opening gives way to a coconut magnolia cream pretty quickly that i sat with for hours. i do with there was more projection and stayed stronger for longer, but honestly im still getting really faint notes on my skin almost a day later so i cant complain. i do think you're paying for a brand in part, but im gonna buy another bottle. its GREAT for layering with a gourmand in my opinion.

I absolutely fell in love with this one, and it was completely unexpected, I never imagined I'd love it so much! It's a luminous fragrance, built around what I perceive as coconut milk, ylang-ylang, and magnolia. It's smooth, creamy, sunny, and floral. There's also a hint of fruit in the background, most likely dewberry and orange. It's a "happy scent", yet also sensual and feminine. Very pretty for the holidays, but not only; I can see it being suitable all year round too. My favorite of the range so far!

I really love Magnolia. It's wonderfully creamy and sweet without being cloying or heavy. I'm a huge white floral fan though, so this is right up my alley. Orchid is my favorite from the line, but I really enjoy this one too. I actually love to layer the two; something magical happens on my skin when I do and it's addictive. I don't understand all of the negative reviews, this fragrance is beautiful. If you're on the fence and a fan of white florals, I don't think you'll be disappointed at all.

I just have a teeny tiny little sample of this but wow just wow it's so elegantly floral but that berry smell sticks its so beautiful it smells like you're walking through a field of flowers while picking blackberries at the same time, it has that sweet flare to it from the berry but that sweetness aspect it brings is so light it's barely there. This scent is heavenly! I applied a little on my wrists and now I can't stop smelling them every two seconds

I don't know what kind of shampoo people are using, but I need a recommendation if it smells like this. I get a soft musk and creamy coconut undertone, topped by the truly gorgeous magnolia. A male store consultant asked me to try it and I was skeptical because I detest Gucci Bloom with a passion. But I was pleasantly surprised. The bottle is quite pricey, but I scored a black Friday deal and I'm absolutely inlove with my new fragrance.
