Gucci Guilty Black Pour Homme

Stunningly beautiful on my skin! Can’t stop sniffing my wrist. Longevity & projection not bad! I have had compliments from strangers even a good 4h after although I couldn’t smell it on me after 3h. One thing I can not stand is Dupe brands recommending their own brands on Frangrantica pretending they are reviewing but recommending their own dupe brand! Unacceptable! Don’t fall for dupes & recommendations here as it is the dupe brand themselves plugging up their mediocre dupes! There is one such dupe brand below being recommended! This is not the place to advertise your dupe perfume brand! I used to think dupes were a good bargain initially until I tried the original! Never again! In my experience dupe perfumes rarely ever smell the same throughout it’s scent journey on your skin. They may get it close to the original in top notes but usually the heart & dry down of dupes smell cheap or very different! This is because often the dupe brands will go for the cheaper alternative aroma molecules rather than the more premium aroma molecules/Absolutes/essential oils/natural resins that a designer brand can afford to use & will use in their formulas. I studied perfumery & I can see this in many dupe Scents! My advice would be rather than buy dupes or buy decants ( which can often be dupes too),if you want to try a sample, instead test samples in department stores or original brand shops or duty free airports & let the scent develop on your skin throughout the day before you commit to a purchase & when you decide to purchase, rather treat yourself to the original & if it is too expensive, save up to buying the original as a treat for your birthday or Christmas etc There are sales sometimes over Christmas period so you can get a better deal. Or instead of wasting money on dupes & decants, go for niche perfume brands that don’t cost a fortune but make their own stunning scents but do not make copies of other brands. Or brands like Zara who have collaborated with Jo Malone,the perfumer & entrepreneur herself to come up with a range of stunning,super quality yet affordable Perfumes! Go for original be it designer,niche brand or store brand,never support dupes!

Just got this as a gift.. so you know I had to hop on to see how people feel about it. I really wasn't expecting half the flak. I get green.. but I also get leather, fruits, and an aquatic accord that surprised me since its "Black". It reminds me of a darker less sharp Aqua Di Gio. Maybe ADG Ultimate Black. It has a greenness of Lanvin Oxygen, but way toned down. I'll also say this, it smells really good. Don't be fooled by the negative reviews. For the ladies it's sure fire. My girl said this beat out all the big guns at Macy's (JPG, Paco, Chanel, Prada etc). I wouldn't consider this a light fresh scent like some people have said. I would say it's an all year rounder, leaning fall/winter.. or a spring/summer evening/night fragrance. Clubbing or a dinner event this could be a great option. It's fairly heavy and sweet to my nose, with a little spice, but not spicey. Now as far as being generic.. I would say I have smelled this before. I can't say what, where or when exactly, but this is done much better than what it reminds me of. Longevity is good and projection is good, and I enjoy the clean/soapy dry down. The note pyramid looks empty to me. I get depth and sweetness, but I can't really separate the notes. I'd say it's blended really well, and I get a smooth but strong leather note at the opening to mid. It dies at the drydown. Definite crowd pleaser, and all the negativity seems to come from the fact it isn't groundbreaking or niche.. while all the love comes from how people find it "sexy". Age group is highschool and up.. may be too sweet/generic for more mature noses. Casual to semi formal, but I wouldn't wear it to work. Might be too heavy/cloying. Overall great juice. Edit: What GGB reminded me of is Nautica Rush Gold mixed with a bit of Kenneth Cole Black. Own gold.. and I'd rather have this black. KC is still good though. Just not as good as this.

What can I say about this fragrance, it's a nice and safe Green fragrance suitable all year around. Everyone will love this fragrance, whether you are big into fragrances or not, it's a safe bet and gets quite a few compliments. It does smell a bit synthetic like people have mentioned, but it's not the overwhelming synthetic smell that other Green fragrances have. As briefly mentioned, the versatility of this fragrance is phenomenal, all year around for any occasions, no matter the kind of man you are. Masculine? Go for it. Flamboyant? Yes sir. It is a long-running line of Gucci - even having a new release this year, Gucci Guilty Parfum Pour Homme. It is a safe blind buy fragrance, ignore what the negative comments are saying, it is fully worth it. If you can, go for the 100ml. I'm saying this for the mass versatility you get with it, it doesn't have the best longevity, but again you can overspray, and it won't be offensive. It is mass appealing and nothing unique even within the Guilty line, but it is a safe entry and starter scent to both the Gucci line and to start your fragrance collection. I have had many compliments wearing this scent from friends and family to people who I walk past, it's not an attention grabber by any stretch of the mile. Overall, a safe blind buy for all age ranges, for all occasions and seasons. I would lean into it being ever so-slightly uni-sex, but that's just my opinion. This was the first fragrance I had bought, so it has a soft spot for me and I could never hate on it.

Gucci Guilty Black was the only fragrance I owned for years and although I've since discovered many scent profiles I enjoy more, it'll always hold a special place in my heart. It's an interesting mix of green / blue to my nose and to me just makes me feel like a fresh, clean well-put-together guy. My wife fell in love with it while we were dating and still prefers it to this day due to the nostalgia factor, so it'll stay in rotation in some form forever. It's versatile and can be used really for any season or occasion. If you enjoy this scent profile but are disappointed with the performance, I feel confident recommending the Dua version (Dark Guilt). I'm not the biggest fan of Dua's stuff in general but had to try it since there's not too many houses doing "inspired by" fragrances for this DNA and have been hoping to find something that last longer than the ~2hrs GGB does on me (and was also disappointed by the performance of Fine'ry Alleged which is another dupe). Happy to report Dark Guilt is dead on to my nose and offers a vast improvement on performance being an extrait de parfum.

This is hands down the best fragrance i ever owned , girls ADORE it , i have received hundreds of compliments about how green and refresing i smell and how much girls love it. On the downside , the longevity was pretty good when i first bought it when it launched (2013) , but as all big houses like Dior or Chanel , Armani and so on do , they watered down and now is pretty weak after 1 hour I also received a lot of compliments from Bleu De Chanel EDT which is also my favourite and use to linger all day on me much more than Gucci Guilty Black , but Chanel also did that and diluted the concentration sadly and it gets very weak sillage after 2hours now i really do not understand why can't hey make an identical version of this Gucci Guilty Black and call it Perfume or Perfume Extract charge more money but make it WAY MORE CONCENTRATED like it was when it launched or even more Anyway another favourite of mine was Gris de Montagne Dior amazing longevity ,projection and sillage best i ever had but for a huge amount of money almost over 300$

This was the first fragrance I ever owned I got it as a gift back when it was released. I have so many great memories with this. Dates, hanging outs, night outs, etc. It's a sexy scent. Definitely for sexy young men. I'm thinking about buying it again. Longevity: 8 hours or more. Sillage/Projection: Very good. Projects until 6 hours then starts to sit closer until it becomes a skin scent. Scent: Very strong, but smooth! Absolutely not choking. Hundred times better than the original. It's heavy, but pleasant. Occasion (to me): I would wear this to a night out for sure or any type of occasion like that where you want people to notice and smell you or a date for sure! In my opinion it works in any type of weather except for extreme heat.

Fragrance snobs are gonna hate on this one. But the ladies frickin love it! It's bright, fresh, clean smelling. Is it a mind blowing niche fragrance? Nope. But does it smell good? yes. Will this get you loads of unsolicited compliments from the ladies especially say college age to mid 30s? Absolutely! If you are trying to impress a fragrance snob this won't do it. Go buy something from Creed, LV or initio for that. But if you want a grab and go fragrance that will get you compliments and the digits of that fine honey at the gym, coffee barista, nurse or random babe at the store? If that's what you want go for it! You can find it for a good price on discounters and hey, it just works.

Scent: 7.5/10 Value: 6.5/10 Longevity: 6/10 Sillage: 6/10 Versatility: 7.5/10 I'm with the last 4 or 5 reviewers. How can you hate this? This scent is so safe (even blind buy safe). It's is classy, soapy, clean, and masculine. If you hate clean, then leave this alone, if you love clean then quit waiting and buy this NOW. Think, office, gym, casual and sports coat. It will work in all of these settings. The longevity is good for a freshy; I get around 5 to 6 hours on clothing (maybe a little longer). Sillage and projection are good as well (not great but good). My lady loves this scent. It will work with the opposite sex. This will be a constant in my collection. I hope this helps.

bought this back in 2017 from macys. smelled it on test strip and instantly fell in love. yes, this does not last long BUT for the time you do have its projection and sillage on your side, if anyone can get a whiff of this off you, they will be impressed this is such a nice green fragrance i would suggest due to the poor performance, stick to wearing this on date nights or close encounters where you maximize the 2-5 hours of projection you'll get i spray one on each side of my neck, two times on back of neck, one on back of each hand and i would say i get at least 3 good hours where i have a decent projection outside of my own personal space good luck fellas ✅

If it was called Gucci Guilty Green will make way more sense... It's is fresh, it is sharp, it is like a forest in spring or a jungle in the authum... I don't understand all the hate about it, to me is quite a pleasant fragrance ! The drydown is a little creamy for me, but in a nice way, in the amount of Tonka/Vanilla around this is way better than the regular ones. Price: Overpriced 140CAD$ at Shoppers wtf Fragrance: Well balanced and fresh Sillage: Works well, don't be afraid of over spray, because it is fantastic smell and not to much invasive, but still bold. Longevity: Something between 6-7h on my skin Overall rating: 8.5/10

I'm wondering if people are going nose blind to this and falsely giving it a bad rap. I think this smells fantastic and while I don't own it, I want to own it because I worked at a large entertainment venue and there was this bartender that I would see occasionally and every time I would say '"man you smell good what are you wearing?", and every time he would say ," Gucci Guilty black", ...... and I know he'd been at work for a while and I could smell it, so it had to have some projection and sillage. I just know my real world experience with it is that I could smell this guy everytime and it smelled great

Yep this is defiantly super over hated. You think by the dislikes it smells like a rotten egg. It last about 8-10 hours on my skin and projects really well. Been told this is every girls favorite scent on me. Must admit thought smelled it on a tester a couple months ago and thought it smelled horrible. But on skins WOW smells fresh, green and maybe a bit aquatic. I’d defiantly recommend this scent for all day and night all season. Have no clue how Gucci’s absolute is the most popular guilty on here. It smells like the spit you spit out from chewing tobacco mixed with rotten wood.

I own gucci pour homme (great but doesnt last), and tried guilty and really liked the DNA but thought it was a little generic and weak projection. I've noticed people have been saying the same for the black line as well but I disagree. Although it is a fresh soapy fragrance something about it is unique and has me smelling my wrist all day like a weirdo. Overall the projection is solid better then I thought but definitely not a beast by any means. I really like this fragrance though overall my best blind buy, very versatile for any situation and very safe and smooth.

Nice GREEN , soapy, lavender fragrance, much better than the 3.6 rating, don't let the 'Black" throw you off , this is a inoffensive clean fresh scent, I have many lavender scents but this one is unique in it's greenness , The performance isn't as bad as people say either, a guy at work wears this and I twice asked him what he was wearing and he said Gucci Black , so it must project pretty well. This is a great, manly , office or work scent, not to much to offend anyone but still masculine. Hard to find this one too, must be discontinued and supplies are drying up.

I love how this smells. It fits right in with my style of fragrances. I think it work for almost any situation. I do think it is best for like an office type situation. Someplace where you want to smell good but you don't want to be too in your face. I kind of hate the term, but I would say this is one of those "modern masculine scents". It's fresh, clean, green, and slightly woodsy. No real sweetness here. It could easily dress up or dress down. I do wish it lasted longer, but for how fresh it is I'm not surprised. But I do easily get 6 hours out of it.

For a couple years, this just quietly gathered dust in my collection. Honestly - I could't stand it. Two years ago I gave it another chance, and wow, something changed. It's since been my daily. Not sexy, or warm, it's fresh and clean, and pretty much a complete "All the Bases" fragrance for me. While it's not the best juice in my stash, for sure it's going in the luggage to take on a trip, or keep in the car. All season, day or night, work or play. Unobtrusive sillage, smells clean for girls, but won't bug the guys on a jobsite either. Give it a chance.

I love fresh frags & love how this works for me. Slightly Sweet, Fresh, depth in drydown, I guess synthetic but that is plenty ok because this just smells great. This is one to just spray and go anywhere, anytime, perfect sig scent type. Killer on Summer nights, This is my favorite of the entire guilty line. Easily one of my most versatile and always wakes me up and puts me in a good mind set in mornings......Performance is great for a freshie...I can smell this 8 hours after work faintly but it is there all day. Not a beast, not supposed to be.

Wow so many bad reviews for a great masterpiece is a really unique fragrance that smelled really well blend. Woody notes that give that masculine cara here with little touches of sweetness . Great compliment getter ( if you want to get compliments from milfs ) this is a blind buy . However not like the pour homme this is a little bit more for grown up guys 25+ if you are a teen and want to smell really masculine go for the Gucci guilty eau por homme. I love the Guilty line, but I slept on this one for a long time. In fact, I sold my first bottle years ago after I'd worn it all of 2 or 3 times. Picked up a new bottle at a great price earlier this year and it's so refreshing. It has the same DNA as the original, but with a blast of green soapy freshness. In contrast to what other reviewers have experienced, I find the longevity and projection to be phenomenal! Very glad I decided to revisit this one. Just the thing for me right now 🙂

It ain't easy being green; this is great Springtime fragrance. It starts out with a cardamom spicy lavender airiness that immediately takes on an array of herbal green notes in the open that shifts greener in the heart with those herbs, leaves, and grasses persisting alongside sweet orange blooms (I couldn't separate the neroli out) with background lavender continuing. The clean bluish greenness continues into the base, making the cedar and patchouli feel almost alive. I loved it.

This fragrance is by far the best compliment getter from all fragrances I've ever owned. Very fresh, clean, and masculine scent. To me it's versatile enough that I can pull it off anywhere anytime, winter, summer, day or night and ladies absolutely love it. Doesn't last an eternity but it holds up for the majority of the day, noticed the smell lasts longer sprayed on clothes than on my skin so something to consider. Very appreciated in Eastern and Northern Europe.

I feel this is under-rated among male noses. Women love it, It's extremely versatile and isn't boring the way many green fragrances are with the soapy profile. There's a darkness and a spiciness to it that make you think twice and The performance is a joke, but I've blind tested dozens of women so if you're on the market it's worth the shot. I don't care for it, and I noticed most men don't care for green frags, but this one hits different.

I feel like this is pretty underrated. It’s a calming, fresh, green, clean, pleasing fragrance that smells wonderful. No shower gel vibes at all to me. People will notice it, even though it’s not an “in your face” type scent. The longevity is just okay, but I don’t mind. It is not expensive, relatively speaking, and I typically do a few extra sprays on myself and clothes. Perfect for year round imo. Bonus: my wife absolutely loves it lol.

So many dorks on this website dude like go outside for once please. Recently got this as a blind buy. I think it smells fantastic for what it is, don't really understand why this is hated on. The orange blossom is nicely pronounced and plays well with the lavender. For me it's a great office wear, yes it's pretty "safe" but then again plenty of other fragrances if you want to splash. My only complaint would be longevity but I got around 5 hours in the few wearings so far.

This fragrance really does smell AMAzing 🤤. It’s a fresh patchouli & lavender dominated. The notes go great together, but just a tad too synthetic for my nose & I start to get a headache after a couple hours... but GOD the shit is seductive. Dark, light & fresh at the same time. There’s a cooling sensation I get when wearing it. Could be worn year round, but best suited for evenings into the night.

not sure what hits the noses of other reviewers to make them hate such a pleasant fragrance... to each their own i suppose, theres plenty of scents i hate that others adore. i get a clean, green, deep imprint from it that invokes thoughts of a forest after rain. cliche'd but still enjoyable. that being said, it smells amazing on a man and makes me want to jump the bones of whoever is wearing it

This is my south beach, miami fragrance. This fragrance makes me feel ready to have a long night on the town. It has the big lavender, coriander notes in the beginning and soon after transforms to this green, aromatic scent that is great for a night out. Great compliment magnet and in my opinion, scent DNA is unique, but this fragrance is best at night, 8/10.

so idk if anyone else has a sweet spot for spraying cologne, for me its my inner elbow, it lasts and projects for HOURS, and takes longer for the fragrance to go from the top note to the base note. i love everything about this fragrance, this is my signature and i love it so much. not for winter? no problem, i got my gucci guilty absolute B)

My bottle is coming to an end and I am a little sad. Delightful, fresh, clean and simple fragrance. I got a great deal at a discounter that's why I originally bought it. There are other fragrances that are better in terms of smell and value for money but this will always have a special place in my heart but I can't justify rebuying it.

This stuff right here is really nice and isn’t really all that talked about imo. Great freshie and will get you some nice compliments. You literally can’t go wrong with this shit. I’ve used a bottle of it already and keep just a bit left in it to remind me how fucking good it is and i’m purchasing a brand new bigger bottle.

In my opinion this is one the best releases in the whole Guilty line. In fact, this whole Guilty line is really starting to grow on me after snubbing it early on. Better late than never I guess. I'm afraid the true appreciation for the Guilty Black fragrance won't become apparent until Gucci discontinues it.

Underrated and overlooked. I am surprised on how good it is, actually. Very nice fragrance with very decent performance. Easy to wear, and different scent from the original. It is a bit sexy, dense, but, with just little sweetness this is suitable for anytime, and office appropriate, too.

This has a 2023 scent profile. It is green, fresh and creamy. I don't understand the low score. Maybe it was a little bit ahead of it's time. It is long lasting, but the sillage had to be better. It becomes a skin scent very fast. So people around you can't enjoy what you are enjoying.

Dark but at the same time fresh fragrance. I've read a lot of negative reviews. But when I tested the fragrance I realized that it was unfair. Maybe not perfect but never a bad perfume. Water and green notes blended with success. Give it a chance, you will know what I mean.10/7.5

it is green, fresh, attractive, i dont think it is a must have but if you have it, you are going to get noticed and get compliments every time you wear this, also really really suits the monsoon , (rainy days....) I think it is great but may be more suited for guys under 30.

To my nose this smells like Dunhill icon racing but more mature,this fragrance last 6 plus hours on my skin and is a wonderful scent.i don't know where the hate comes from on this one.8.5 out of 10 for me,if it was under $40 this fragrance would fly off the shelves

pleasant, with more pronounced green than "black" (whatever it is meant to be) and not too sweet. hardly a signature one but a big compliment getter. with the guilty cologne this is probably the best from the series. 8/10 soundtrack: tulio di piscopo - stop bajon.

A great choice when you want something that stands out from typical fresh aquatics while staying office-appropriate. The green notes keep it crisp and professional. it's actually a refined daily driver that works year round for me.

My boyfriend uses this cologne and I am obsessed with it! I'm very picky and sensitive to masculine scents but this one hits my nose so pleasantly. I can't get enough of him when he's wearing it which is like... all the time.

Very green and lightly dark scent for the warmer months. I like to wear this when going to parties or doing something energetic. The smell is rather seductive and fun. Lavender stands out without becoming feminine.

This smells green, creamy and crisp! Gets hated on for no reason. The jucie smells really uplifting and mass pleasing and hella versatile. Performance is average, definitely a must try if you haven't.
