Confessions of a Gucci Fanboy: It's happening. . . I have gone full circle from the frustrating prospecting of niche to the well-calculated, marketed, targeted, tested raw power of designer. Oh hell, I just gave in, the designers are so darn good. Still, I love my niche Sticky Fingers by Francesca Bianchi. Just one score like this one makes niche worth the struggle. Side Rant: Francesca Bianchi is so amazing--not hard on the eyes either. Probably can't say that nowadays. We guys oughta just shoot ourselves or maybe go to one of those charming 're-education' facilities like the Communists use. I can see it now: Bad Doggie re-program Room A. Right. You are now cured. 'Oh. . you look nice today (snore). You can't even joke anymore so let me sort this out so as not to offend. Guys who are gentlemen can meet todays standards. A gentleman always keeps the standard. OK relax, good talk. Regarding 'designer' versus niche; designer is not as robust a fragrance and re-formulation has erred toward weaker compared to niche. Still, alot of niche quickly becomes a skin scent. Confused enough? Wondering if the public does not want something too strong that will hang in the air. Maybe the public just wants a fragrance quickie. NOTE: This is a cologne with surprisingly great durability. Being a cologne it is not as concentrated as a Toilette. Still, keep the faith. This stuff delivers with a hearty spray!!!! The juice is the prettiest, softest green-- that ever made the scene. The glass bottle is so heavy and tapered for the hand. Yep. It just feels good. Nice ritual. To the notes, to the point: Top: Juniper Berries, Rosemary, Calabrian Bergamot Middle: Cypress, Heliotrope, Violet Base: White Musk, Patchouli LEAF, Cedar Done by Roberto Morillas and launched 2019. Open is just wonderful with my favorite note of Juniper Berries. I go crazy over black pepper and juniper as found in many of the British scents like Dunhill or Hugh Parsons. (By the way. . . . Hugh Parsons kind of is getting the 'high hat'. This stuff is fun, bright and traditional for a real gent!) Moving past the Juniper--there is no black pepper. A quick entrance of Cypress, and Violet in just a matter of ten seconds. Super nice Violet. The Heliotrope adds a lush nectar/sweetness with maybe even some heft! The only base I can really detect is Cedar which I have come to love. After some hours, the final drydown does seem to have the White Musk factor and it is barely detectable--but 'gamey' and classy. It's in there: I'm going to have to try the Patchouli Leaves by : is it Montale? Mancera? This scent is remarkably successful in attaining two goals: First off, it has a certain bulk to the fragrance cloud as well as a bright aspect. Also the Violet is so nice and the Heliotrope is like a really satisfying confection or pastry. I think the Heliotrope adds the "bulk". Secondly, this scent in final dry down offers a real delicate interpretation of musk and a much brighter Patchouli that fools my nose. I saw it in the notes, I did not detect it. So light. . . must be the leaves. Apparently, this was not run for very long. I get real curious when a fragrance is met with 'we don't get it' . Dump it, 'it aint sellin'. I just have to move in for the sniff. I like prospecting. I'm getting real good at it, but had to waste some money at first. I paid $71USD. Upon initial purchase, it seemed a bit rich. The product really is unique and worth every penny. Shop it, if you want. I love a great deal. I learned alot. Patchouli leaves--wow. Heliotrope--luxe.... doll. Violet--not all the same. Juniper Berries--where the big boys screw it up but not this one. Also learned: Cologne is not always too weak. Re-calculating. Also learned: Practical and hot all in one bottle. I like that.

I must reveal my strange relationship with this fragrance. I cannot be silent anymore because I've been obsessed with Gucci Guilty Cologne ever since I got it. It confuses me, it intrigues me, it humors me, it supports me, it loves me, it gets me... I didn't bother test this one. I just plunged straight into a blind purchase. I disregarded the consistent hate, disgust and rejection this scent received. People call it names insult it but it just made me more curious. It came. I sprayed it on. I thought, "Damnit I actually don't like this... What is that saltiness? What is that fizziness? What is that weird creaminess? What is making it smell dry, powdery and soapy like baby wipes like others have mentioned? The notes looked so promising but the result is so f...ing strange". I was so upset that I continued spraying it on hoping it would change or dry-down to something different. I kept spraying trying to find out what I enjoyed about the scent. Why am I still spraying this thing? I already decided I don't like it, but why do I keep spraying. Am I forcing myself to enjoy my blind buy? Are my feelings about this not reliable anymore because I am a hostage in denial of the idea that maybe I wasted my money? Stockholm syndrome at its spookiest... But wait a minute... At the time it had been two consecutive days and I had worn nothing but Gucci Guilty Cologne trying to understand it, but also enjoying it. Performance is quite strong for a cologne even an edt but stable. It is clean and soft, like fabric softener and baby-powder in the air but contrasted by the facets of creaminess, fizziness and the sparkle of shaving cream like an ultra-modern fougère. The scent profile humors me. It is humbling expressing humility by displaying an infant-like cleanliness but then it is rounded and matured by a cleanliness that is also of a grown man clean shaven. I have stopped wearing it to understand it because not understanding it is why I love it. Gucci Guilty Cologne is Olfactory art. It is a statement. It has told me, "shut-up, stop overthinking and just wear me" reminding me of the basic function of a perfume, and I have submitted to its commands. It has restarted everything for me and told me it is as much functional as it is art. I needed Gucci Guilty Cologne to remind me that perfume is equally an art as it is functional. I find it calming and addicting and it has become one of my favorite signatures to reach for this spring and summer. I look forward to also wearing it this fall and winter. Unique, avant-garde, but ultra-modern and clean. A misunderstood masterpiece in my opinion. 🧼 🌿🪒 10/10 Edit: I don't know how or why but I've been complemented and approached numerously on my wearings of this. I don't usually write on complement factor but this performs very well on me. I'm always afraid to recommend it because of how polarizing I know it is. And yes @dabatch I too see a second bottle of this in my future if I can still find one!

I like this cologne. It's challenging, but the more I smell it, the more I'm reaching for it as a daily wear. I am satisfied with my purchase of a whole bottle. And truthfully, I enjoy it a lot. Among the shower-gel freshies, the ambrox bombs, and the nauseating milky-sweet-sandalwood mens fragrances at Sephora as of 07/21, this one definitely stood out. The fragrance is dominated by a strong, long lasting "gunpowder" accord that I can only describe as extremely powdery, dry, green, sharp, fresh, slightly sulfurous, smooth, and balanced. This might be the "heliotrope, violet and cypress". I'm guessing the heliotrope + violet is a ton of ionones (alpha ionone anyone?) and some irones and heliotropin, somehow dried to a crisp with other aromachems. The cypress note might be a microdose of some sulfurous aromachem? The Alaskan Cypress Oil I own definitely has sulfurous top notes, so this is appropriate. Anyway, it's a really nice and unique aroma that is linear and lasts. It starts out with a nondescript, acidic, distant, sharp but pleasant citrus note. It finishes off with a nose-tingling breeze of woody-amber molecules (ambrocenide, norlimbanol perhaps). Through the duration of the fragrance, there is a very mild and lovely aquatic presence, perhaps calone or cascalone. Normally calone disgusts me, but here it works so well!! I cannot detect the white musk... I could perhaps be anosmic to it, or it's just carefully hidden, or very transparent. Good longevity, and strong but not overpowering. Is it a safe blind buy? No. But it's different than anything I own, and I really enjoy it. It's minimal, light and transparent, but lovely. Definitely polarizing. Try before you buy! Wear it and see how you feel. EDIT: I really like this juice, the more I wear it the more I appreciate it. I also removed some snark in my review regarding note pyramids.

This is a really good fragrance. This is probably my favorite of the Gucci guilty‘s for summer weather. It is a great every day summer scent. I use things like dolce and Gabbana light blue, Dylan blue and maybe even a little happy for men during the summer but this is for sure my daily go to in warm weather. It reminds me of the beautiful beaches of Malibu and the windy mountain trails and fresh breezes of Topanga! You get the perfect combination of clean and earthy without a lot 🍋 and 🧼 and the dry down is completely comforting. When I put this on I get comps out of the gate! It is unique especially the dry down. I get pretty decent longevity but do carry a small bottle of it for refresher around 2-3pm After a 8:30 application. Is it worth the money? I would say yes this is one of the few fragrances that I constantly re-purchase. I do look for opportunities to pay less for it but that’s just in my nature I do that with everything but I have never had an issue paying full price for it. I’ve been very satisfied. If you never experienced one of the Gucci guilty fragrances for men I think this would be a very good first time buy for that line. Honestly I think this has the best longevity and silage (outside of absolute and the GG Parfums) I’m such an ADD individual when it comes to fragrances I cannot consistently wear the same one every single day because I need my scents to go along with my mood and what I’m feeling for that day. But I wear this more consistently as a signature fragrance than I do anything else during the summer. The key to its longevity, since it is a cologne, is to go heavy on the application and let it completely dry if you want it to last more than a hour or so...

Wow! This fragrance is actually really good! Definitely not what I was expecting but I'm happy about that. Very modern and not your average designer spring/summer fragrance. Where most are all citrus and aquatic, This cologne is floral and woodsy. This one really reminds me of Dior Homme, but not in smell rather in genre. The more floral, soapy and woodsy with be a nice change and make you standout from all the other heavy citrus and aquatics this summer. Like Dior Homme this one opens with a pungent almost medical citrus smell, I'm assuming from the bergamot but that dissipates in seconds and the florals takeover. The Heliotrope is centerstage in the fragrance and again like Dior Homme gives a really nice soapy/powdery scent with a little little spice from the rosemary I'm guessing. From there the scent remains this soft clean floral with a warm base and the scent stays this way for most of the duration until maybe around the 4 hour mark and then the woods and patchouli completely takes over and finish off the night. And honestly the woods is really what made me a fan of this fragrance. The warm cypress with the patchouli gives this a animalic, balsamic aroma that almost comes off as a cleaner more musky Oud. This fragrance is label a cologne but the opening is pretty wide and comes off more like a edt but once it dries down it becomes very soft which I'm sure others will confuse the performance with being weak but I think this is a A+ fragrance from the house of Gucci and another one of those fragrances pushing the boundaries and starting conversation of what men fragrance can be just like Gucci Guilty Absolute, this one belongs in my collection.

This should have 100% be a stand alone new fragrance release from Gucci and not a flanker. It is so unique, so pleasent, so different, i like it a lot. The violet, the cypress and the rosemary with heliotrope and juniper berries create a vibe hard to explain. Some said it smells somewhat medicinal and I can see that. I find the vibe it gives being a gentle metallic, with a little sweetness (probably from patchouli) and some greenness, but both the sweetness and greenness are one with the gentle metallic smell, not on their own (this is very well blended). It does give a fresh vibe when you wear it, but don't think about citrus or floral or herbal freshness, it is a... well, metallic freshness for me. Just try this and you will smell it too. If this DNA gets popular and people accept it, I am sure many other houses will go this way in the future. Edit: I tried this for the 3rd time on skin and I was blown away... Why? First 2 times it lasted for about 7 hours on the skin cause I had to go to sleep one time and the other time I had to take a shower. The 3rd time I sprayed it 2 times on the forearm at 14:30. I went to bed at 2 and I could still smell it... WTF??!!??. And don't think about some leftover generic "I sprayed something here" scent. I could 100% feel Gucci Cologne on my forearm. Maybe it's my skin, I don't now how it manages to last so long on my skin, but I am buying this tomorrow. It already made it to discounters, I will get the 90ml for 56$.

Wow, so what to say about this one? Well, I do love it, not just a like for me. The issue is, I like it because of what it intended on doing. Which is old world Italian clean charm. What does that mean.. Well, my grandfather used to wear certain fragrances that had a very medicinal minty fresh vibe, like a "gin & tonic", which makes sense with the Juniper berries, bergamot, mandarin and cypress found here. So, as I'm wearing it, I get that mental image of my grandfather dressed up conducting business and just being a commanding presence. The longevity and projection are both good, as I get 6 to 8 hours, and just maintain a bubble around me that isn't too far reaching, but enough to reach those you walk by. Again, more than acceptable, as no one wants to be the person that you meet the fragrance before you meet the person. I bought the 150ml bottle at a decent price of $65. My opinion, it was worth it. This is such a departure from Sauvage, Dylan Blue, and the rest of the blue fragrances that have taken over. Just as Gucci Guilty Absolute was polarizing, this is no different. You want to hate it for being different, yet love it for the exact same reason. Which is why I consider this a niche way to go for high heat fragrances. You'll get noticed and know that you're clean, but they may not be sure why they like it. Lol. Definitely a try before you buy, but if you do, you may find it just as appealing the more you wear it.

Cypress and juniper fresh opening, with a foggy/musky heliotrope drydown, giving an impression of "baby diapers". Actually, it's a hard scent to describe, because heliotrope is the main player here, which smell may be unfamiliar to most of us, so try before you buy! Average performance. Creativity at its best, surprising both from Morillas (a perfumer that used to be more focused on commercial success than creativity in the last 15-20 years), as well as from Gucci (who recently got out of a 10-year creative desert with Gucci Guilty Absolute.... inspired, if not copied from Terenzi's Ursa, but that's a different discussion...) Unlike GGA, it's not a love at first sniff. I like, but not sure I could pull it off, as I'm not sure it would fit my personality... will have to waer it again before thinking at a full bottle. But for sure, I have to admit that it's really a new kind of masculine floral, very unique, that Gucci has issued here. Great job! Spring days, 25+ Edit: 2 years later, I bought a bottle. On my skin, it's way more juniper/cypress forward than florals. In the base, it's a musky wood acccord, the violet and heliotrope, while noticeable, are more toned-down compared to the paper strip test. This is 'digital cypress v2.0'. Again, very original, unique, but it definitely feels synthetic. I now love it, but this is absolutely not a safe blind buy.

Blind buy because, c'mon, this scent sounds so interesting and controversial from the get go, and it is discontinued to boot. This is a throwback to the 80's early 90s powerhouses, any shame aside. I can even see this having it's placemaker earlier on, referencing some mediteranean colognes of fore. The whole Gucci Guilty line, in my opinion, is coherent and manly, which means women won't necessarily appreciate them -have in mind-. The cologne version I am reviewing is clearly based on the OG but veers towards warmer weather and daily wear, by means of bergamot. I find the whole Guilty line as polarizing, high quality masterpieces. You need to sample this -I stress this- before you make up your mind, but if you like the OG chances are you want this badly for your spring-summer daily wear. I paid 30 euro for the 90ml and I just can't get enough of it. I find it perhaps a less melancholic Hommage a L'Homme, and as excellent as that.

I bet GGC will be discontinued soon. Simply because it doesn’t fit into context. It is and is not cologne. Pale green is exactly what it is (I have never seen such a color of perfume). The stars that shine are: at the beginning bergamot, in the center is a very special cypress (due to a pinch of powdery heliotrope) and at the end (which just lasts) an interesting musc with woods. As some note, seemingly nothing special but unique. However, this is not immediately obvious. Quality. Definitely no association to anything Gucci. Sophisticated, if not intelligent water / cologne fragrance for "niche" lovers. It lasts, it doesn't project too much (Great). So, not for fashionable Gucci folk, for sure. Even Guilty Absolute, which isn’t bad in its genre either, but despite the boldness really nothing special, isn’t as anti Gucci as this one. The last good Gucci before Cologne, as far as I'm concerned, was Envy. Save Cologne, return Envy.

I had a hard time with this one, as from the first sniff my thought was 'do people actually pay for smelling like this, weirdos?', I tried it out in stores few more times and noticed it's getting less stocked, and then on one of the groups I found a good deal for first batch, so I took it. Back then I wasn't too sure if I'd ever actually use it, although when I forced myself into occasional usage during summer made me fall in love with it, exactly the same way I fell in love with Guerlain's Ideal Cool. It's fresh. It's herbal with some citruses. It's green. I don't smell this heliotrope powderiness here. Longetivity-wise it's not a best performer on my skin, although I get a decent sillage in first hour. Whenever I see some other perfumes with color like this, I hope they'll smell similar. If you find this somewhere in the shops, do not hesitate.

I don’t see anything ominous in this perfume; it doesn’t suffocate, it’s sterile, evoking the atmosphere of entering a freshly opened hospital where you know doctors are there to help, a place where you feel safe. But that is just a faint background. The stronger impression comes from the blend of cypress, rosemary, and juniper berries, enhanced by bergamot that emerges with the deepest breath. This is a perfume designed for successful people, suitable for all seasons, something that will define you in the eyes of others as bold and confident. I see nothing wrong with this fragrance; for an affordable price, you get a brand with quality comparable to Zara but exceptional in every way. It’s a true burst of spiced freshness, the essence of business trips, and the realization of dreams bottled up.

I first smelled this at Sephora and thought it smelled 'nice'...no big deal. I'm not a big fan of any Gucci Guilty (except Absolute), but every time I passed this at a counter, I would take a whiff. I did that so many times that I would look forward to smelling this cologne during every shopping trip. So I finally bought a bottle. I love this stuff. It is now my favorite Guilty. I like that this is bright and fresh without being marine or citrus-heavy. The opening is slightly sweet and herbal. As it dries down on my skin, it's a powdery patchouli, but the cypress and rosemary keep it crisp the whole way through. I cannot think of a situation or season that would not work with this scent. I love Gucci Guilty Cologne...one of my new favorites.

Stealth Fragrance. Massively Underated. I sampled this in Boots (uk) 6 months ago and was completely disinterested. Sprayed on to a sample strip and asked a female colleague what she thought and she said it smelled like deodorant. Months later, I sampled in Hanover Airport and on the back of that ordered a couple of tester vials. Wow.....,,This is presently my go to ‘dumb reach’. Fresh, Clean, unique, Minty (controlled and softened....not a toothpaste mint). I love this yet I don’t know why? It’s not incredibly nuanced or different, yet I find it so fresh and clean without resorting to the ‘blue and generic’ approach of so many others. Like I said at the beginning, this is a stealth fragrance, a true grower and currently my Number 1!

I quite enjoy this fragrance. It's definitely not for everyone, so I'd recommend sampling first. One of the things I enjoy about this fragrance is that it's it's a freshie that isn't your typical citrus or aquatic scent. The juniper berries, cypress, and rosemary stand out the most. It comes off a bit medicinal, but not in a way I dislike at all. It's a more mature scent, so guys in their early 20s and younger probably won't care for this fragrance. It's not a strong performer, but it's a high cologne flanker, so it's what you'd expect. Gucci has its share of fragrances that are very different than other designers. This fragrance is discontinued to my knowledge, but still shows up here and there online. Overall: 8/10

I just happen to be at Sephora and saw that the bottle that they have actually has blue juice in it. I’ve had two or three bottles of this because I love it as a summer fragrance but my juices always been green. I didn’t ask the attendant if I could sample the blue juice that they had on the shelf and when I tried it I felt like there was a softer more powdery opening than the strong green/citrusy (the juniper and rosemary is less prominent) opening I get from the green colored juice. Does anyone know if this has been reformulated ????I’m assuming so I even took a picture of the blue juice on the shelf to make sure it’s BLUE the attendant had no idea what I was talking about 😳! LOL

Honestly, I don't understand the extreme reactions people are having to this. This is in a similar dimension to Zegna's Florentine Iris. They don't really smell alike, but where the Zegna plays out like iris and violet battling for dominance over jasmine, this is heliotrope and violet becoming best friends over gin. The musk is actually surprisingly warm and human in this which is a really nice surprise. It is sweet, but in a very aromatic, fresh kind of way. I love it! I just tried layering this with Absolute and they really compliment each other well. Cologne adds sweetness and freshness to Absolute's black heart. I wonder if this was intentional

Gucci Guilty Cologne Pour Homme is a soapy powdery, smooth woody, green and flowery unique freshy. Personally, I liked it a lot, at the opening it smells weird for a minute than it becomes beautiful I think a lot of people judged the fragrance for that 1-minute smell without smelling it more without giving it more time. it has moderate performance on my skin approximately about 6-7 hours it projects very good at the first 2 hours than it becomes close to skin, when it comes to likeability of the fragrance, I think it's pretty likeable. So, guys I recommend it, at least give it a chance don't pass it because of the judgments of others.

I am a person that doesn't care what time of the year a fragrance is made for, I'd usually wear them all year....THIS particular fragrance belongs nowhere BUT summer. High heat, bursting sun, nothing else. It's off putting at first, but let the magic work it's way. I promise you, that when you smell this fragrance again, you'll remember everything you did when you wore it in summer. It's so special to me because it brings me fantastic memories from 2019 when it got released and I got myself a bottle in London's Liverpool street station (boots). Try before buying and have fun with it!

I've been sniffing all the perfumes in the store from Azzaro to Xerjoff like a truffle hog but literally all of them had strong notes I had smelled before. Then I tried this one. It was definitely not a love at first sigh but it was something that I've never smelled. What convinced me that we'll fit together is the rollercoaster like journey that comes with this cologne. The top notes are like a new product of Jagermeister, like a Jagermaister summer edition without too much sweetness. After drydown come the powdery, even dust-sniffing like notes that I somehow love.

It just struck me, this is closer to the drydown I was expecting Silver Mountain Water to deliver - it is fantastic. This has me almost ready to throw SMW in the "to sell" pile. The drydown is herbal, mildly green, semi-sweet, woody and astringent, it does everything that I like in SMW just much, much better. I'm guessing the violet is driving most of what I like about that drydown - it's to me the best floral note for men's fragrances (sorry Lavender, I still like you though). It's brings its own earthy woodiness with its subtle floral contributions.

Further to my earlier review of this 2 years ago, I’ve just bought a 150 ml back up bottle of this before it becomes unavailable. This stuff is criminally underrated and fairly unique. I love my summer citrus’ and freshies but this offers an alternative freshness, menthol and mint....incredibly refreshing and cooling, can’t wait for the warmer weather to come so I can drown myself in it again. This has garnered me more compliments than any other fragrances i own & if I leave it in the bathroom it gets stolen by my daughter and my wife.

The reviews for this are perplexing. It's nowhere near as divisive as people make it out to be. In fact, it might be one of the best men's fragrances released in recent years (so of course it's discontinued 🙄). I mainly get cool, soapy evergreens supported by clean, powdery purple florals and herbal rosemary. There's a slight minty aspect from the rosemary in the opening and a clean, sparkly patchouli in the base. This was a breath of fresh air in today's sea of uninspiring, $120 "cologne guy" releases.

I am surprised of the completely different feelings on this perfume; from big disappointments to praise for the beautiful scent. I agree with the latter group of praisers, this is among the best scents I've smelled yet on my fragrance-journey. This will surely be on high rotations this summer. So uplifting and calm, yet one spray lasts and lasts. Perfect spring and summer scent. It brings sunshine to cloudy, icy cold and wintery spring days like here in Norway at the moment. Two thumbs up!

I got a phenomenal deal on this one £24.50 for 150ml on fragrance shop (UK discounter) And.... I read a lot of negative reviews about it but also some positives praising its uniqueness. Personally I think it is very interesting. Original Smells very herbally and bit medicinal I do like the berries note. It has a surprisingly great projection So far I am digging this Beautiful bottle I need to give it some time, luckily spring is on its way Overall very much pleased with it so far

This is such a weird, cool fragrance. I like to preface all of my comments on originality by saying "If you are in your 30's, and didn't grow up in the...," but this smells original even next to old powerhouses and old school colognes. It's strange in an 80's sort of way, but it doesn't smell like an 80's cologne. Shout out to Gucci. My wife loves the Bloom line--and I love smelling her in it--and since Absolute, this house makes interesting fragrances that really do smell great.

It's a really refreshing aromatic with a lovely violet flower note. Has similarities to Maison Crivelli's Absinthe Boréale, but side by side they're clearly different fragrances. Yeah, it's a shame this got discontinued because it's genuinely a great example of a modern fougere. Grab a bottle from the discounters before it's relegated to ebay if you like this style of fragrance. P.S. There are only 2 fragrances I have purchased backup bottles of, and this is one of them.

@Afc_Croatian: two reasons: 1. nostalgia. people are mad at gucci because envy, pour homme/ph II, nobile and rush (i'm a big fan of each of them) we're killed/not re-released (unlike the great retro line with ph, m7 or jazz by ysl). such a heritage. they don't get it. me neither. 2. guilty doesn't resemble anything popular these days. it's not Yish, not bleue, not invictusy. i don't say the guilty line is a work of genius because it's not, but the hate is pathetic.

Gucci Guilty Cologne Fragrance profile: green but not herbal more of woody green if it makes sense because of cypress, I adore its powdery and floral smell makes you feel like you are in a beautiful meadow very uplifting and backbone of the fragrance, I think this particular fragrance is more appreciated by experienced noses or people with niche taste. Very well blended, unique, warm weather fragrance. Performance: I get around 5 hours with mid 1 hour projection.

Finally, a groundbreaking cologne. This is polarising when looking at the votes. This is what all new creations get in the beginning. I love that Morillas did this and it is so refreshing. It smells almost bug spray. Very strong and old world perfume like. If you are sick of acquas, cinnamom gourmands and the blue ambergrises, get your nose on this odd composition. It might be the only real new experience in the designer fragrance since Le Male came out.

Tested this fragrance twice on skin and in a hot weather, all I can say, this smells luxurious! Smells elegant and I think this will stand out among other scent profiles especially in hot weather. The best in the Guilty line! Casual to formal events IMO this will work perfectly fine. I'll now save money to buy this one since most of the people here says it's discontinued. Here in my country, it's still available. I won't let it slip away 🧐.

I'm going to keep the review very short - they should've called it Gucci Guilty Absolute Cologne... Cuz somehow that's what it smells like - a Cologne version of Absolute. That should tell you this is not safe and definitely not a blind buy. But for those who complain that Gucci does safe fragrances these days - between the EDP, Absolute, even Elixir a bit and this, there's definitely room for doubt and reconsideration. 9/10

This has a very soapy smell when sprayed. The outer bottle emmits a nice, fruity fresh fragarance, but once it hits your inner wrist it smells ghastly. Like too much soap. Whats more interesting is how it dries. After an hour it starts to sweeten up and after half a day it smells great. You can wake up the next morning smelling the better part of it on you in this strange magic trick of smelling the soapy odor dissapear.

The score is creeping up on this as people who’ve actually spent time with it are leaving their reviews! Could be a cult classic in the making like Absolute. It is as interesting as Absolute but far more versatile and wearable. Currently my number 1 go to. It is a perfect spring and cooler Summer day scent, leaving the citrus’ for hotter summer days. Best ‘designer’ I currently own!

This is a one of a kind in my collection. Didnt like it when tested in store. But couldn't get it out of my mind because it's very unique. Still bought it, and it grew on me, then it took over. It's cold and the dense fresh unique smell made it stand out from all my other winter scent. My wife and daughter also love it. Great longevity and good projection. Big thumbs up.

with more and more useless sweet crap produced and praised day by day finally some people slowly get how unique and good this stuff actually was and still is. yep, it says cologne and it is a true cologne (with edt longevity and projection). very herbal, fresh, unique if slightly medicinal, clean. a rare breed. and all the dislikes? a big lol, you simply know nothing.

Kinda feel autistic almost smelling i love it but also nearly dislike it. Powdery yet green, natural yet synthetic, almost slightly off putting yet cant stop smelling. Very unique experience with some challenge, takes a little while to understand but god is it good. Challenging facets should calm down in the summer when that cooling effect is really needed.

Beautiful composition. It’s fresh, soapy and floral, but still manages to smell modern. Definitely part of the “new” Guilty line, sitting along Absolute and Absolute pour femme. Glad to see a mainstream house releasing interesting scents that don’t follow the pedestrian trends every other major designer house is. Bravo to Alessandro Michele.

Class in a bottle. This resembles a very good quality rustic herbal and musk soap, the type you find in 5 star Hotels. I can understand why this wasn't popular when it was released, especially amongst today's noses, it takes some maturity and a few wears to understand it, but once you do you will have that epiphany moment of how good it is.

A very novel structure with powdery violet and heliotrope placed over acerbic, astringent juniper and cypress. The base seems to be a particularly cold patchouli base and overall there's a vague insect repellent sensation but in a good way like with Fierce by Abercrombie and Fitch. Not particularly complicated but strong for a "cologne".

Not usually a fan of Gucci fragrances but this is a winner IMO. Slight medicinal green juice with a nice dry down of musk and cedar. I really like it just wish it lasted way longer on my skin (4 hours max). For the price and quality I would say it's a strong buy. I am sure it is available to sample in most mall stores. Enjoy!

That bottle is (or juice rather) absolutely stunning! Alberto is hitting hard this year with releases. Looking forward to trying this one out. After a successful blind buy last year with Absolute, this cologne release, is definitely high on my radar. Sounds perfect for spring! Will be hunting this one down!

When sprayed on skin, it can smell a little intense and like cleaning products. However, give it an hour or so, it completely transforms into a fragrance that I have been stopped in the street and asked what I am wearing. I will buy this until it goes end of life. I liked it when it released, and i like it now. Now people are finally appreciating it. When something isnt following the current trend and touches new ground, people dont like it bc of npc/normie mindset. But this is genius by a genius. Really cool and masculine fresh, going against the grain.

Sampling today good!! But I think Zegna uomo does it better!! Gucci guilty cologne is very short projection but with longetive!! Zegna Uomo is more Italian cologne!!its cheaper projects better and even smells better!!! I'm just bummed cause I love absolutley pour homme & femme even the oud!!!

It's a first fresh fragrance in a long time that doesn't smell to me like a cleaning product. Actually, I find it quite pleasant and a bit intriguing. Is Gucci trying to turn Guilty into a line of polarising, unapologetic frags? I certainly hope so. I'm definitely buying this next spring.

I'm not sure why so many people dislike this frag. Its quickly become one of my favorites, one of my longest lasting frags and really unique in its style. I recommend anyone who likes more floral-sweet smelling summer fragrances. Not as cloying as some may suggest, perfect for a hot day!

It is the least known but most successful perfume of the series in my opinion. A very clean, very fresh and very green spice scent. It is a perfume that can be used easily by men of all ages and fully meets your expectations from a designer perfume. I'm glad I discovered it so late.

Just picked up a 1.6 at Sephora and after returning to the office and trying on my wrist, I wish I had gotten the large bottle. Underrated with a score of 3.13. Super clean with no prominent citrus notes (a great thing). Will be great as summer winds down and we head into fall.

Too the people who says this is not MASS APPEALING. you are crazy! this smells so good. like a fresh a little sweet edible soap.. by no means an gourmand fragrances.. i just sprayed it on my hand. not the best projection and longevity. but dont care. too good!
