Gucci Guilty Eau de Toilette

As someone said, this is VERY close to the original Gucci Guilty and my beloved OG Gucci Guilty Intense. It is about 97% and I am soooooo thrilled as the OG was a masterpiece and discontinued and impossible to find similar sexy lilac frag, lilac gets a bad rap these days it seems and can be very old fashioned if not blended well but this is STUNNING and so close to the original and intense which i've gone through 4 bottles of! Thank god they made this cuz all the other reissues smell nothing like the classic I almost gave up! I'd say it's slightly lighter and a bit fruitier, lending it a touch more sweetness but several side by side comparisons with Gucci Guilty Intense had me buy a bottle immediately as they are NEARLY IDENTICAL THANK YOU GOD!!! The new bottle is not as cool as the original and I feel its a bit top heavy and scares me it may tip but the juice is incredible and will have you GUILTY OF SMELLING DELICIOUS. This is a lilac with secrets. An extremely warm and a little spicy purple flower. It used to smell like the color lavender to me (not the flower) but now i get more of a black and it's hot and sexy in the most subtle unexpected way. Not your normal sexy sweet gourmand it's a sexy floral IMO. I've never smelled anything like this and its been my signature scent since the day I met the Intense flanker in 2017. I do not like powder or playdoh but I can sometimes pick those up but for some reason it just works and i find this to be utterly intoxicating and my most complimented fragrance. It does smell expensive and I'd say not for the teens. I wear it day or night hot or cold and will be buried in this scent.

This used to be one of my favorite grab 'n go scents. Was caught off guard when I noticed she no longer came in her cute little rounded square flacon. I blind bought this new formulation after discovering the notes are almost identical to the original. They've added raspberry and removed bergamot. Considering bergamot has a deeper spicier accord than other citruses, in its absence, we arrive at something less sultry, slightly softer and fruitier. Initially, I didn't appreciate it, as I was pining for the OG but over time, I've grown to love this :) EDIT: Just purchased a 30ml of the original on eBay. In a side-by-side comparison, the original is spicier, and soapier than this new EDT. During the dry down the original also projects stronger and for longer. Conclusion: While the original fragrance is a little edgier, in it's absence I've grown to love my new EDT version

I owned the original edp but I only got the travel spray to test it out before I committed to a bottle. I loved it but never purchased a full size, for some reason. Anyway, fast-forward to today and I got a 30 mL from Marshall's. It smells so good and similar to the edp just lighter and it doesn't last as long. But it is so good, they don't make fragrances like this anymore. I get a lot of baby powder fresh lilac, with a bright opening and a hint of the pink peppers, but not all that spicy, and a sexy amber-y musk at the base. It essentially smells like a grown up, sexy and sophisticated baby powder, perfect for any time of the day and season. I honestly wish it lasted longer but it's really good if you're into fresh scents and powdery scents. Lastly, I wish they still made them all in the older, all gold bottle. But this one is ok but the top is a little too tight.

I recently found a sample of this at the bottom of my makeup drawer. It has probably been there for years. I tried it and feel so lucky I did. On the surface it doesn't seem that original but there is something about it that stands apart from other florals and I'm having a hard time saying why. Maybe because none of the other perfumes I've tried were lilac? Maybe it is the lilac? But I feel like I've found he perfect floral for me. It is comforting, elegant, classy, not overbearing and but subtly unique. It is light but has good longevity. I like that I can wear it out to dinner and it doesn't clash with food. It's safe for wearing to work and also special enough for an event. I went out and tried all the other versions of Gucci Guilty and I definitely prefer this over the EDP. I love the bottle too.

Jezebel said it perfectly. This is elegant, somehow ethereal and expensive smelling. It’s a very perfumey perfume which I love, brings to mind scents of a bygone era but it’s in no way old fashioned. Suitable for any time or occasion for sure. I received a sample of the edp and loved it but only had enough loyalty points to buy the edt so after reading all the reviews for both, I took a chance and blind bought the edt. Zero regrets, love at first sniff. I prefer this to the edp as the addition of the raspberry and the vanilla notes are really noticeable giving it even more appeal for me as they’re favourites of mine. For an edt I’m impressed with the longevity. Sillage isn’t huge but I can smell it easily so I’m happy! I can’t say if it resembles the original as that passed me by sadly.

Okay wow. I sold my original 2010 edt several years ago, but heard someone talking about it recently so I went to try this newer, available version. This is incredible. Truly amazing. It is admittedly less intense than the original formulation of the edt, but for me, that translates as a very good thing. This has the same mysterious sexy clean scent, but is a bit sweeter and smoother. I will say, I’ve only had it for a week and already ran through a third of the bottle :/. It lasts pretty well for an edt, but obviously I’m over spraying, which I need to do, because otherwise it wouldn’t be worth spraying at all. Aside from that (which is a HUGE con) I am truly in love with this and will be wearing it forever.

If anyone has been wondering about potential differences between this one and the discontinued Gucci Guilty EdT, I can say that the two are basically identical. They have just put the old EdT into a new bottle. Perhaps some details have been altered, but they are not detectable without direct comparison. Overall it smells like the good ol’ Guilty EdT! :) What I love about Guilty is its versatility - it just fits any occasion, so it makes a great signature scent. It’s not a bold fragrance, but rather simply pretty. Yet, Guilty is still unique and recognizable due to the lilac as its main note, which is rarely found in other designer perfumes. I would sum the scent up as a musky lilac with hints of fruit.

I haven't ever smelled the original EDT, and it's been a while since I smelled the original EDP so I'm coming to all of this with a fresh nose. This fragrance to me really took me by surprise. I don't usually love powdery scents, but this is so soft and inviting. Very fresh at first, but it become this lovely, comforting, soft cloud. I'm not a fan of sweet scents unless there's something tart to balance it, but this is just soft and every so slightly sweetened by the peach and blackcurrant. I'm not a huge fan of patchouli these days, and thankfully I don't get much of it here. I have not been able to wear any other fragrances since I purchased this a week ago. Just gorgeous!

Not at all what I normally gravitate towards. I usually go for musky, spicy scent. But this is gorgeous! I get that pink pepper and some peachiness right away. Then the lilacs come in, and they radiate such beauty! Definitely a soft musky drydown, a bit powdery, but not simple or overly vanillic. This is sort of sweet, which surprises me that I like it; it's not a gentle floral, but very feminine. I wore it all summer, and wondered what it might be like in the cold weather. I put it on today (it's 12 deg F here), and Gucci Guilty edt is still lovely! I have a rollerball, but will certainly purchase a FB!

I'd never had a particular interest in the Guilty line by the time I was accidentally introduced to Love Edition 2025. Saying that I was swept away by it is underestimation. Unfortunately, that limited edition is far pricier, so I was looking for some alternatives. Having sniffed all the possible Guilty perfumes, I realised the EDT is the closest to Love Edition. It is so gentle and sultry at the same time. The lilac note is the most delicate and mesmerising. I wish I had discovered it sooner

Softly spicy and a more classy kind of fruity than is usually in mainstream frags. Feminine but could also be pretty male-friendly IMO. All of the notes are really well blended and harmonious. I am finding I like a lot of frags with geranium and blackcurrant and I personally get the blackcurrant and raspberry a little more than the peach, on my skin. No harsh alcohol scent on this even at first spray. Not much projection. I don't think this is baby powder-y at all but more of a soft amber.

This is absolutely pretty, delicate and elegant, and smells expensive . If this perfume would be an object it would be a light beige finest silk scarf. The bottle is not what I usually go for, but is gorgeous. It's suitable for all occasions and seasons. It is both low key sexy and completely elegant and proper. It's slightly powdery but the fruit notes keep it from smelling dry powdery. The main note I detect is the lilac, but it doesn't overpower the perfume.

i really love this fragrance, its complex but not headache inducing. kind of smells like baby powder and flowers but with a hint of something spicy ? (which might not sound Good but trust me it is.) the only complaint i have is that it doesnt last very long on my skin. :/ i love spraying it on my clothes though, its a good 'idk what to wear' perfume, i feel like it can suit any season and occasion. very safe. i like it alot, 4/5 just bc of longetivity.

I absolutely love this! I do own Gucci Guilty, the original first one that was released in 2010 & they smell pretty much the same to me? I don’t see the difference. Just different packaging? I would consider this an evening, special occasion, fancy scent. I can’t smell any of the notes listed, it’s not even floral to me. I would say it’s soft spicy, musky & powdery. Definitely for the confident individual & sexy.

Upon first spray, it smelled identical to something else I have smelled before, although I can’t place it! Quickly, it starts to develop into such a pretty scent. This is one I can smell in the air more than on skin. It’s such a pretty scent bubble! Slightly sweet, floral with such a classy base! The lilac isn’t super apparent to my nose. For me this is spring and summer, and it’s gorgeous!

smells lovely, quite feminine but with a bit of edge. sophisticated but fun and youthful at the same time, which I love! not too strong but the sillage and longevity on skin are still quite good. I usually dislike jasmine in perfumes but here it's very subtle and fits to the mix. this kind of reminds me of Hugo Boss The Scent For Her but this is has more edge - must be the pink pepper!

I am usually into lighter florals (Chloe EDP, l'Eau, Rose Naturelle) - Gucci Guilty EDT is my evening perfume. Whenever I wear it, I feel like an adult woman - the kind who makes her own money, knows the etiquette, can flirt with refinement and leaves the event before the after-party to go home to her husband. It is a classy and sexy confidence booster without being attention-seeking.

The EDT smells so much better than the original. I love this one, I feel like it can be worn in cooler and warmer temps. I worn this to work and this can definitely be a safe workplace fragrance, I received a compliment. It is light so you can overspray yet i can still smell myself. I am now reaching the 6 hour mark and I detect the scent. I will buy this over the EDP any day.

The pachouli in this is VERY well done. Much better than Mon Paris or Flowerbomb in my opinion. Like others have said: smells expensive. The fruits and amber are alllmost on the edge of being too “mall perfume-y” but it clears it on the dry down. It’s excellent and I think it’s perfect for the office, especially for meetings when you have to be a bad boss babe.

Smelled this at ULTA today. Another really powdery, perfume-y smell... but i REALLY like it. Much better than the original guilty, honestly. Soft lilac with a touch of peppery, musky peach... I’m starting to realize peach might be a favorite note of mine, as I always enjoy fragrances where it makes an appearance... really nice. Very feminine, and soft.
