Gucci Guilty Love Edition Pour Femme 2024

I wrote a whole review but honestly I feel like none of it portrayed the extent of my feelings for this fragrance. I sprayed it once on the back of my hand in Ulta around 2:30pm on Sunday and I could still smell it the next day after washing my hands as usual, not being careful to not wash it off or anything. I left the house to see a movie today and came home and could smell it lingering in my room. I haven’t stopped thinking about it, to the point where I forgot about my favorite scent for an entire day. I’m not a ride-or-die patchouli fan. I find it to be overwhelming more times than not, so I approached this cautiously. I was searching for a scent with a different take on iris when I came across this, not expecting to find anything at all. Upon browsing Ulta’s offerings in-store, this was among the only ones that stood out to me. Of the ones that I tried, this is the only one I actually would buy. The lilac in the opening is not one that smells like an air freshener nor does it smell like a dewy spring lilac. The patchouli brings a sort of earthiness that downplays the freshness, but not in a way that suffocates it. Admittedly, during the wear it becomes a bit too dominant, and I find patchouli to be a note that catches in the back of my throat, making me feel like I’m going to be sick. The dry down mostly consists of an amber musk that leaves this earthy, slightly sweet lilac feeling warm and slightly powdery, a characteristic I tend to look for in a scent. That being said, if you don’t like patchouli or powdery scents, you probably want to pass on this one. I’ve never had any interest in the Guilty line before I came across this particular composition, but I plan to make myself better acquainted. I’ll admit I panicked a bit seeing that this was limited edition and almost bought it straight away, but I intend to acquire a sample before making a decision. The longevity alone is admirable, but projection is not farther than an arm’s length. Sillage is noticeable and long-lasting, but not strong. It’s just noticeable enough for someone passing you by to catch a good whiff of and have them thinking about it. The scent really does make me feel feminine and a bit amorous. After I wear this a bit more, I’ll decide whether to buy the full size or not. This one definitely left an impression on me though, out of the dozens I’ve tried in search of a warm, powdery, non-dusty and non-plasticky floral-musk.

Gucci Guilty Love Edition 2024 is hands down my favorite version since the original gold square bottle that I loved! I've tried every version since then, trying to recapture that feeling lol. It's very lilac-forward at first, and to me it lasts much longer than the 2021 version. I sometimes have a love/hate relationship with patchouli, but thankfully the patchouli in this is the sweet earthy, green, fresh kind. It really adds richness and longevity to the perfume. It might start off feeling cool and realistic like you're burying your head in a lilac bush, but it gets richer as it dries down, and becomes more warm, deep, and ambery. I think that is where the genius of this version lies. This is so pretty! The ingredients include hydroxycitronellal and alpha-isomethyl ionone, but this is not a powdery violet, it comes off as a freshly floral, sweet (not sugary) lilac mixed with lily of the valley. It's not really fruity either, like the raspberry 2020 version. Modern, not "matronly." I use 4 sprays (both elbows, both sides of neck) and on 4 out of the 5 days I wore it last week I got complimented and asked what I was wearing, so apparently people can smell it a few feet away about 4 or so hours after I applied it. Would be appropriate during Spring, Summer, and even Autumn. Days, not nights. It really smells PURPLE and I love the dusky purple bottle. I bought a 50mL, but will be going back for the bigger bottle before this limited edition disappears! It's not as rich or sweet as the Elixir, but I think it would be lovely to wear this one during the day and then spritz the Elixir over it in the evening for a little more oomph!

As with the male version in this love edition 2024, the notes are not 100% as declared by the brand, according to Gucci are essence of Patchouli, vanillin and oakmoss accord, but here there is much more and you can especially notice flowers, I feel the pristine cleanliness of the lilies of the valley and the most modern lilac like A drop by Issey and above all, the one it most resembles is another fragrance from the house of Gucci, which is from its private line. "Tears of the moon" I suspect that these love editions, like the previous ones, are the work of Alberto Morillas, as is Tears of the Moon, this love edition is not so similar to the one compared to 2020, that one had a very present raspberry along with it to the violet and in this one the floral of the lilac is felt more like in the 2021 edition but even so it is not as similar, this one has its own path, it is a clean floral fragrance with an almost solar lilac accompanied by the whiter and soapier lily of the valley, bathed by the slight sweetness of Patchouli and a shy bitter touch of that oak moss accord with a base (like inj the masculine one) of that very modern "ambroxanic" vanillin, but without sweet excesses, no extremities and just like the men's version, the color of the bottle honors the fragrance inside, bravo for these two new Gucci releases, I completely loved them. PS: if you like tears of the moon but find it excessively expensive, this would be a good option, although they have a similar vibe, it is not that they are the same.

I adore this perfume, in large part because I have had nothing but bad experiences with amber on my skin in the past - it tends to smell outdated and sour on me; this is the exception. I also personally avoid patchouli in household scents and candles because it just smells too herbal for me. Again, the patchouli note surprised me in the best way. Every time I put it in I instantly feel put together and feminine, and I wear it for any occasion, to include the gym and work. The notes at first glance sounded very old-ladyish to me but I was shocked by how much I loved it on my skin. The dry down is not drastically different from when I initially spray it on, which I love. Consistent, simple, ageless and something I can wear year round.

Gucci Guilty has been my signature fragrance since 2011. Started with the OG EDT and the intense, and I remember being devastated when it got discontinued and replaced with the newer EDP, which smelled completely different. Things got a little better with the more recent EDT, which has become my new go-to and was a lot closer to the original notes I love, and then a little worse with the new intense, which I can’t stand. But having recently purchased this, it’s brought back everything I remember loving about the original EDT and more. An easy, classic, soft-powdery-sweet floral. Just unfortunate that it’s a limited edition. Went for the 50ml, but will definitely be stocking up on the 90ml at a later point.

This is one of the best lilac inspired perfumes. It's very sophisticated and lasts for days on my skin, hair and clothes. I've been looking high and low and Gucci surprised me with this springy creation. It is not powdery, nor sweet and definitely not airy or too green like other perfumes I've tried. It's amazing and the ambery drydown is very original, not a powdery soup of notes. It's not similar to the Guilty original. I think they should rebrand it and call it Purple Love. An ode to lilac. Liliac is a symbol of love, resilience, hope and rebirth, it's also close to my heart as it reminds me of my wedding. What can I say? I love Love!

this is the best perfume I've ever spent my money on. I sprayed it in-store not thinking much of it, and later realized this perfume is the reason I smelled heavenly for the rest of the week (no joke, I could not get the smell off my jacket and scarf - NOT THAT I WANTED TO). It's such a sweet yet warm-spicy scent without being too overpowering. I literally can't get my man off me when I wear this perfume. 10/10 recommend, it smells good on so many people too! so it seems like it would be a safe blind buy.

i did not expect to like this frag as much as i do. the lilac on top is very sophisticated, and there is somehow an aquatic component to the scent. the base musk remains pretty powdery throughout the wear. all together there is something clean yet naughty about this scent, like cleaning yourself up with an expensive hygienic wipe after.. ahem... my only complaint is that i wish this lasted longer on the skin as i can only get a couple hours max out of it, but attaches itself to clothes a bit better

the most delicious wonderful thing my nose has ever had the pleasure of sniffing. it has all of my favorite scent components, beautiful lilac and powdery musk. i can still smell it days later on all my jewelry and i start smiling and kicking my feet when i get a whiff of it. i wish i did not fall in love with a fragrance i cant easily get on a discount site... if anyone knows if this smells the same as the pink one from 2020 plz let me know....

My latest purchase from Gucci, and this is so lovely. A Romantic floral beauty. Love at first sniff for me. It has lilac, amber, patchouli, and musk. When I sprayed it at the store, I asked them if it has a fruity note too ? and they said it does not ... Even the pyramid doesn’t show any fruity notes, but I definitely pick something sweet and fruity here. Either way, I love it. - Bhavna Darira Chesan

In a trip to Montana I smelled real lilac for the first time. I was in LOVE. I’ve been searching for that smell for so long- I usually hate it in perfumes because it’s so fake and powdery. Then I found this, and it captures it so beautifully. It’s floral, soft, feminine, dewy, and ever so slightly fruity. “Lovely” has been used a lot in its reviews, and it truly is.

I first sprayed a strip and thought nothing of it, but a couple of months later I sprayed it in my skin and MY GOD. IT WAS LOVE. It's if course very similar to original Guilty but it's so smooth, the lilac is incredible. I even tested other perfumes with a prominent lilac note, and nothing comes close. This is such an amazing blend. It's beautiful. 😍

I sell perfumes. The tester arrived today. I really liked this scent. The lilac scent is the note I feel the most. I also like patchouli. The lilac is in the foreground, patchouli comes as you wait. The matte lilac bottle is wonderfull. If you like lilac scents, you should definitely try it.

OMG! The moment it hit me, it took me straight back to my fave memories. This is so subtle, so simple, and far from generic. It’s versatile enough for all four seasons, especially during the day, for night time probably I would combine it with different scents like more woody ones.

Wauw..I had little expectations for this fragrance as I am not the biggest fan of Gucci fragrances in general...but this is a gorgeous scent, that is quite unique imo. I think she is full bottle worthy and I will ad her to my collection very soon.

silky and sophisticated, not too sweet nor headache-causing which i love in floral/musky fragrances. i prefer this one over original gucci guilty as well as the intense.

This is quite nice soft and powdery lilac scent. Certainly reminiscent of her predecessors. well done and stays long. Very feminine, motherly, gentle scent. I like it!

On the paper it's very similar to the old Gucci guilty that I loved! And I see I'm not the only one who thinks that :)

Sweet Kompliment getter Beautiful scent and bottle

OMG, released on 2024 and it's still available as 2025-2026 Love Edition, this is how good it is. I remember the very first Gucci Guilty that might have been an EDT in the more square bottle. It was a statement back then. So many years have passed, I have always appreciated some perfumes of the house but never felt the need to buy one. Example: Bloom Ambrosia di fiori. Now let's go straight to the review of this masterpiece. If you expect a loud, strong EDP or if you're not a fan of office safe 'purple floral' scents, just don't try it. Also, the same stands in case you dislike the whole line or you have never found an interesting enough Guilty edition (not love only). Although my signature is La belle from Gaultier (recently reformulated, shame) and that means I like gourmand and present or seductive perfumes, I have fallen in love with Guilty Love edition 2024. It needed exactly two times/tests in order to win me. It's a silent killer. I don't know why most of you find it weak or that it lasts no more than an hour. I would only agree with the fact that from the whole line it's closer to the EDT. I don't know how to describe it after smelling more than 300 perfumes now but as fast and analytically as possible, we're talking for a feeling, not a perfume. It's sillage might be average but it's lasting power is nuclear. When someone enters my private office always comments on how good I smell. It reveals it's magic on closer encounters or spaces. When I very first tried it on the airport, I had to reapply it with the idea it's too soft. I was wrong. It projects just like Chance from Chanel. It's like a thunder effect or it's just appears for 1-2 seconds to remind you it's here. The notes listed here are different compared to the tester. Maybe vanillin is what makes it so addictive or gives this familiar feeling. Lilac's freshness, patchouli's carnal heart and an amber-musky base that is typical for the line. It's floral but without being too much, totally feminine or boring. It's so classy but without being preppy. It has whispers of sweetness but without having not even one gourmand note. Lilacs have this special honey-like sweetness. It's formal, serious and at the same time a bit naughty and free spirited. It's a love song you put on repeat again & again. As I said I have no problem to re-apply it if needed through the day and I totally understand it's high price for such a performance. Can you believe that even after shower it leaves on me a very characteristic sweetness that reminds me of sandalwood & honeysuckle? Am I in love with it? Yes! I don't remember when it was the last time I found such a quality. I bought a 50 ml bottle in a great deal and maybe I have to grab a 100 ml one soon before it disappears. Try it and if you appreciate a kind of almost silent or soft seduction, you'll have a secret weapon. And before I get criticized as most of the influencers or YouTube channel owners after such so many good comments about it, the only thing I would change if possible is the spray and how it distributes the perfume. All in all, it's a love and maybe I have to rethink about Guilty line now that I am into simple pleasures...

The opening is lovely. I am quite enamored with it. I feel skin-like lilac and musk. It is carnal and sensual. On my sample card it states only patchouli essence, vanillin and oak moss. I think in addition to the ingredients of the classic. Vanilla indeed sweetens it but in a great and restrained way. Patchouli or oak moss are not prominent on me. It feels present but light and solar. In how it wears it reminds me of J'Adore, sillage-wise. Close to the classic, lilac is the main focus. If one has the classic this is not needed, I think. It is a feel good, smell good scent that does not make a statement and won't offend anyone. It is however sensual, luxurious and effortless. 6 hours in and I feel it gently around me, which means good performance.

It evokes the spirit of perfumes from the 2000s—joyful, candy-like without becoming overly sweet, floral, and effortlessly pleasant to wear. After a few hours, it settles into a subtle, warm, smooth base with a gentle musky nuance. Longevity is moderate, while the sillage is quite noticeable at first before softening, resulting in an overall average performance. A lovely fragrance that, with reapplication or a generous application, can bring a welcome burst of positive energy and brighten the mood.

Received a sample of this when I bought from the Gucci website. I'm a huge fan of Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Femme, so I looked forward to trying this. First off, they're not similar at all, they're different and it's not redundant to own both. So this one, it's very powdery, and has a fresh, clean feel. Reminds me a bit of old makeup, and fresh lavender (idk what lilac smells like). Has musky, woody, base notes. I honestly like it, it's clean floral, but not for summer, it's too heavy for that. Smells luxurious and special events like scent.

This is quite lovely. I tried it at the store and I left smelling kind of "put together". I agree with the other reviews saying that this smells quite unisex and mature. At the beginning all I could smell was lilac and the freshness of musk but as it dries down the musk and amber become more dominant making the scent less floral and more masculine. Sadly way too overpriced for what it is to be full bottle worthy but definitely a like.

There's a soft green note at the top that I couldn't discern, then I found out that it was lilacs! I don't think I've ever smelled fresh lilacs so it's very unique. Definitely fits the bottle color. Doesn't last too long though. If you've seen Nosferatu (2024) I feel like this fits in with that vibe (iykyk). The dry down is light and powdery, almost like baby powder. I like it, it's different. It has a mature, yet ethereal edge to it.

I like it! I received the perfume as a sample gift. It's a smooth, sweet and dark lilac scent. The package says “mousse de chêne”, which means it has oakmoss. Although it is not as dominant as in the chypres, it adds a nice depth to the scent with patchouli. Lilac always gives me an innocent impression, but not here. This is a sexy and mature lilac.

Oooh this is nice! A tiny bit heavy on the amber for me (amber brings a dull quality to scents for me, which brings down the experience) but really this is so pleasant! If someone gifted this to me, I would definitely wear it. It has a sort of grunge vibe. Sort of damp, but still wonderfully floral. :)

I really love this fragrance with the subtle powdery lilac and the sweet ambery dry-down. I'm just disappointed with the performance compared to my other fragrances in terms of longevity. I'll update if that improves. Still a beautiful fragrance.

Definitely get the lilac, patchouli, and musk and it's well blended, but definitely feels like there's some kind of fruit that isn't listed! Like it feels life a softer fruity floral version of the OG

This is powdery and floral - it lasted about an hour on me before fading away. Not really my kind of scent but really pretty and feminine.

Soft, delicate, powdery lilac. This is what I imagine (book) Yennefer from the Witcher would smell like.

Pretty, lilac-y smelling frag. Smells very feminine and like the color purple, but musky & powdery

The opening is a beautiful fresh Lilac blossom with a hint of green and aquatic touch. Very shortly it goes into a slightly lotion-like powdery modern musk with ambery touches. If you don't like ambroxan you will certainly notice it in this composition, it's very present. I can tolerate it because it's dialed back here and the scent overall is very intimate and close to the skin. Unfortunately after a short 10-15 minutes it dries down to a very uninspiring ambery musk base with a hint of sweetness to it. I don't think it worth the price.

This smells very similar to Gucci’s Gorgeous Magnolia – creamy, thick, floral-scented shampoo smell with musk, but GLEPF has an added fresh spicy edge. The lilac note is quite sweet, synthetic and perfume-y-smelling. This is sweeter, slightly younger, more mass-appealing, and conventionally sexier than the original Guilty Pour Femme EDP, which is elegant, powdery, and gentle. Although this still smells good, compared to the OG, which I prefer, this smells quite boring and more... designer, in my opinion.

The opening is a realistic, slightly sweet and fresh, lilac. It is a little green, very light, the lilac note stays throughout the life of the fragrance on your skin. This makes it an ideal perfume for spring. The musk gives it depth and the patchouli appears after 3 to 4 hours. It is a very pleasant fragrance overall, but it is linear and for me, a bit too light to invest in, I like my perfume to be more intense, as my skin eats it up.

Generic sweet expensive perfume smell. I suppose that's the lilac - not a fan. The amber/musk notes are strong under that. It's a good scent to reach for when you don't feel like experimenting, but it's boring.

I was really looking forward to testing this but sadly I'm very disappointed. I own the elixir version and that is a violet, rose, fruitachouli with vanilla bomb with excellent lasting power. Very sweet, yes but it's fun and easy to wear. This new love edition is quite frankly very much like the original Gucci Guilty pour femme but weaker. It is more fresh I will give you that but it didn't bring anything really new to the table. I was expecting more of a real lilac presence and this isn't that. A fresher version of the original. And it is sweeter than what the above accords would have you think. Nothing new, weaker and quite boring. Edit: 1/4/25 the review above mine nailed it. Right, totally right. This is very weak. The lilac accord starts off nice but disappears quickly. What the hell Gucci?! The rest of this line is a nuclear bomb. Also, after 5 minutes it turned into a weaker version of the original. I am sooo disappointed. I wanted to like this one and have it in my collection. If you are looking for lilac search elsewhere this is more of a fruity/floral/patchouli just like the original. Nice but not really all that floral. But then again the younger crowd will probably think this is very floral. It is somewhat more floral than many so called floral newer fragrances on the market today.

After the first spray, I thought that this was my ultimate lilac perfume. That thought disappeared within 10 minutes. My grandma used to soak lilac flowers in this cheap chipre cologne to create some sort of rubbing alcohol. This is what it smells like after 10 minutes: green amber, or cheap lilackish cologne. Super disappointing.

Powdery, mature and lasts forever. I washed my hands 3 times and still couldn’t scrub it off. I’m more of a sweets and gourmand girl so this was definitely not for me.

I have this in my collection now and I will say a positive thing about the performance. This scent profile typically lends itself to being an evening scent and I originally thought that this was going to be that for me but I've found it appropriate for all day wear and easily worn in temps of 70-80F. I live in Palm Springs; CA and it never gets cold here during the day, so I don't really need that many cold weather fragrances in my collection. For me, I get a good 5-6 hours of wear with this with moderate projection and scents have a way of just slipping off my skin. Also, with designer scents, I'm much more likely to overspray and not feel bad about it. I wore this to my parents and they mentioned how strong my perfume was. Yes, they both have sensitive noses, but I ALWAYS wear perfume and they don't ALWAYS say this to me, so I say the performance of this fragrance is actually good for me. I've just opted to purchase bottom filled fragrance decant travel sprays and make a travel spray for most of my perfumes at this point. Like, the only ones in my collection that don't need to be refreshed during the day are Hibiscus Mahajad, Delina, BTSO (they have PHENOMENAL performance), Angel, Perris Monte Carlo, Althair, BDK. Performance of perfumes just suck in general for me so it's nothing new for a perfume to last 5-6 hours. Actually that's good for me. Buy a Gucci Guilty body lotion, put it on under the perfume and you're good. The only lilac scent I own and have liked so far.

I agree with @Veronjin111, on both accounts – patchouli and bottle. I was looking for a lilac fragrance, but I dismissed this one as an option because patchouli just doesn't work well with my body chemistry and here it is listed as a heart note with not many others to smooth things. In my case it often becomes the most prominent note and not in a good way – killing the softness, freshness, sweetness on one hand and amplifying the balsamic, resinous notes on the other with its medicinal, paper shavings-like scent. And turning them into very masculine scents. Well, after sampling this, I stand corrected. The scent itself is very reminiscent of real lilacs. Surprisingly light and fresh too. The fragrance is for the most part quite linear, but – over time – it does lose some of the freshness and the patchouli does get more pronounced, with the “lilac“ turning into a more vanilla-straightforward scent (without becoming too sweet). It does not really evolve, it just fades away. I don't mind the linear character of the scent, but the performance could be better at this price point. The longevity here is very short for EdP, it only lasts for 3-4 hours, then it's barely noticeable and you have to reapply or call it a day. The projection is also very intimate. I guess this is what you get with limited editions these days... maximum profit for minimum effort. For me, it was not worth purchasing the whole bottle, even when available at a very good/discounted price.
