Gucci Guilty Pour Homme Parfum

I’ve always enjoyed the Gucci Guilty line. There’s just something so pleasing and youthful about them. This one I think is my new favorite, though it might be tied with the EDP version. While the EDP felt like a super bold and daring entry to the line, with its acidic vinegar/chili pepper opening and soapy/floral rose, this one plays it a bit safer as far as composition, but the quality and depth of the fragrance is definitely increased. When you smell it, there’s no doubting that this is a Gucci Guilty flanker, it’s instantly familiar. It’s much more similar to the EDT than the EDP was. However it’s also significantly deeper and more dark and resinous fragrance, it’s really quite beautiful. Honestly, if you’re looking for a luxurious drydown of resin and balm-y notes without getting too thick and gourmand/warm, this is it right here. It’s divine. It’s not as sweet as the EDP, it’s still got floral elements but it’s much more woody and resinous which I absolutely love. The EDP could be a bit too sweet, even in the cold. This one plays it just right, it’s still fresh and clean enough (just not very bright) to be super mass appealing and likable while being dark and woody enough to win over the enthusiasts and connoisseurs who favor complexity and depth over mass appeal. Projection is down as expected, and longevity is up. The base notes are the strongest here as expected again, so the opening isn’t meant to be super sharp or bright and attention grabbing, it’s all about the long game here... in that regard, this scent serves as an excellent foundation for layering as well. I do not get any incense or scratchy chemical notes like I do from BdC or AdG Profumo. This is way more smooth and much more pleasing to me. Good for all year round, day or night for me. Though by nature it will be most well received in slightly cooler temperatures and/or in the nighttime and evening hours. Not an “after the gym” freshie whatsoever, this is more romantic and mysterious. Not attention seeking or loud whatsoever. More for a reserved gentleman type vibe, not a loud club-going f**k boi (no offense). It’s casual enough to rock with any outfit though.

It's taken multiple wears but I can finally smell this more clearly, and best of all, for more than just an hour or two. Clean masculine elegance right here . The original Guilty edt but he's all grown up now, salt and pepper hair and beard. It's so rare - and welcomed - to have a scent profile like this be aimed at the 35+ crowd. Very fresh with the juniper and lavender but there's a hint of mature, old school fougere too with a touch of Zino-esque patchouli; the way it and the labdanum interact with the juniper has echoes of Bond's wonderful Cooper Square (which itself calls to mind the original Calvin by Calvin Klein). The difference here is the orange blossom, rendered so differently than normal, it is not fresh or fluffy or indolic but instead just a slightly honeyed warmth that blends perfectly and leaves Guilty Parfum smelling brighter and warmer than Cooper Square, Zino, and others, which makes it much more friendly and to my nose, enjoyable. In summary, silvery lavender and silvery woods, ethereal orange blossom with hints of smoke, honey, patchouli and dry white tobacco. The late drydown smells of the white tobacco with a bit of vanilla. Longevity is about 12 hours but the last 4 will be a pure skin scent. Projection is only decent for a couple hours but I imagine it will bloom more in the heat. It smells good from top to bottom. Classy without pretense.

This is the daddy of Gucci Guilty line. Throughout the years I had the experience of wearing almost every single version of Gucci Guilty and recently after release of the Elixir version I wanted to try them all again. Previously I owned Guilty Black, EDT version, and currently I own Cologne and Parfum. This is by far the most mature version and the most elegant one, yet still super pleasant. The second best in my opinion is the discounted Black. Gucci guilty EDT was always a fun one but it just lacked the maturity. The perfume version has all of it. When I was deciding between EDT, EDP and other versions, I asked myself what would I like to wear on a really important date, and the answer all the time was the Parfum. The Elixir is also really serious and smells really nice, especially in the dry down, but in my opinion it has nothing in common with other Guilty versions. So I don't even consider it a Guilty flanker. Totally different DNA. When it comes to projection and longevity, on me ir projects a lot. I can smell it around myself for hours and interestingly enough I never go nose blind with it. Maybe it's a different batch but mine is really, really strong and really strongly projecting.

Reviews on this fragrance are yet another reason to hate the Frag community. You could put sh*t in a bottle and they’ll eat it up (4.5+ rating) as longs as it projects, lasts, and smells unique. This really great scent though?...well, na smells too good to most people and not like a patchouli covered poop bomb so we’ll bash it and give it a 3. I have learned to not trust this site or the influencers very often in regards to whether something is worth buying/testing. Price: You can get 90ml under $100 in a few places which is as much as I’d spend for it. Never go full retail. Scent: This smells divine, and I have received more compliments on this in the week I’ve worn it than any I can remember. My favorite part is the opening. This opens up fresh and invigorating and drys down into a warm scent(not sweet) perfect for fall or spring. Could also be great for dates or with enough sprays, worn in winter. Probably too warm in the dry down for summer. My wife’s new favorite scent for me to wear! 9/10

I think this fragrance's score on Fragrantica is much lower than it should be. A wonderful transitional season scent with a dark and just the right amount of sweetness. I think there is no harm in wearing it in summer and winter. I don't know Guilty DNA, I've never used a flanker before. But I can safely say that it is a very safe scent. This stuff smells incredibly masculine. A creamy, sweet woody scent. Not very distinctive, but that doesn't change the fact that it smells very good. I think it has a scent that suits all ages. But if you ask me, it is a fragrance that would suit more mature people. I was hesitant to buy it after reading the comments about its performance here, because I really liked its scent when I first smelled it. But contrary to the reviews here, this stuff stayed on my skin for more than 7 hours and the fade was amazing for the first 4 hours.

Edit: liking this a lot more now. See my updated review a few above this. I'm revisiting the Guilty line after falling for Elixir and so far, am disappointed. I'm one of those that gets minimal longevity out of this. It's not exactly that I can't smell it after an hour but the periodic whiffs I do pick up are so non-descript, a silvery sort of dry woods that might be juniper + labdanum but might just be something from thr lab like norlimbanol. I have to presume it's my nose because, while not a huge fan of them I still can't imagine Gucci would release the scent that I'm smelling, if that's how it smelled to all. I will give this a few more chances when I'm out and about and come across it. The opening smells promising and even shows some depth, something like the original Guilty but with some hair on its chest, so I do hold out a sliver of hope.

After my initial shock of the fragrance dissipating off my skin just an hour from spraying at the mall, I ended up with a 90 ml tester bottle since it was half off retail price. Why not? While it lasted longer than an hour, the performance overall is still no different to an EDT concentration with the drydown struggling to cling on for dear life about 4 hours in. The scent itself smells like something ChatGPT would come up with if you asked it for the most mass-appealing, least offensive and safest concoction. It is a bit citrusy, a bit soapy, a bit floral, a bit spicy, a bit woody and a bit musky; it is a bit of everything and hence also rather unisex. It is not great, it is not terrible but it is definitely overpriced and underperforming compared to Armani Code Parfum as an example.

I love this fragrance, some qualities to it may smell familiar but I’d say it’s something of it’s own and goes in it’s own direction. Super mass pleasing, super versatile, great quality, and for me I get more than 8 hours longevity and when someone gets close to you they will smell you hours after spraying when you think the scent is gone. Still smells unique to what most people are wearing nowadays, great fragrance for any occasion and any time of year if you can find on discounters for under 120 it’s for sure worth it. Fresh and clean citrus lavender opening smells very nice Mid is a sexy spicy dark floral with woody nuances And the dry down is a nice masculine earthy but clean dry down that lasts a good while.

I think it is quite a wearable fragrance for men. It feels a little fresh, a little sweet, slightly floral and a bit woody at the same time. It smells really pleasant, but I cannot say it offers something new or unusual. It gives very similar feelings to many fragrances with a similar profile. It is very comfortable to wear and works well for the office and everyday use. However I do think there is a problem with the longevity because after about three or four hours it almost feels like the scent completely disappears. Even so I still think it is a fragrance that suits men well for daily wear simply because I really like the scent profile.

I legitimately do like this fragrance a lot however performance is very mediocre, especially for the cost. Projects well for the first hour or two and leaves a great sillage, but doesn’t perform well enough to be anything more than a date fragrance. It’s a pretty safe blind buy if you like anything else in the Guilty line (barring Absolute), but I don’t think the price reflects the quality. The nutmeg makes this scent for me, it’s basically a mature, dark version of Guilty Black. Will it get compliments? Yes, but this is too pricey for that to be the only reason you’d buy it in my opinion.

Great sophisticated nighttime/colder weather fragrance. This is my signature scent that I have been looking for. Good performance, incense-cedar smell, dark floral, fresh citrus and spice up top. If you like the incense in bleu de Chanel parfum or acqua di gio profumo, you’ll like this as well because that’s the case for me. I don’t know what the original guilty smells like so I can’t compare this to that. Apparently this is new too so not a whole lot of people out there will smell like me, which also makes this a better candidate for my signature scent.

An ancient atmosphere. Intimate. Beautiful. It doesn't disappoint on me. Lavender? Yes please. A cold forest with an animal skin on your shoulders as you walk through it. Or Twin Peaks lashed by cold winds from the surrounding woods, you take refuge in an old-time hotel with wood on the walls and an old-fashioned feel. Woody and animalic on my skin. Evening, no, more...night. The progenitor is a blockbuster and I appreciate it, this one is more mature and masculine and with that touch...fierce. I don't know, I feel the animalic part a lot.

Quite a few people have reviewed this thinking it’s the EDP with rose in it. Wrong fragrance people. Moving on. This is a great scent for 30 and up crowd. It’s the more mature one in the lineup. Which is why I opted for it. I’m in my 30’s for reference. Nothing wrong with this fragrance. What others call boring, I say, it’s a proven DNA that works. People just hate on Gucci for being Gucci. I would know, I use to be one, until I actually smelled their stuff and got over myself. Smell it for yourself and make your own determination.

The safest of all the flankers, very well blended. Scent is truly amazing if you appreciate well blended fragrances, it has that depth from the labdanum and patchouli while keeping it almost sparkly from the juniper berries mixed with lavender. However for the price tag and its slight performance issues, I wouldn't go as far as to recommend it to anyone unless you enjoy the guilty line and want the best smelling one, and if you have money to spend lol, other than that, I got this as a gift and extremely happy with it.

I love Gucci Guilty Parfum. Having also tried the EDT and the black version, I can say this one is the best in the little differences it has compared to those two. Woody, citrus, with a little Incense or smoke in the deepest after tones. Very masculine, safe for pretty much any setting as its not too heavy and strong even when over sprayed. Only disappointed it isn't stronger for being a Parfum, performs like a edt or edp in my opinion. 9/10. Very much a signature scent for any climate.

I've been wearing this Fragrance on and off for about a year+ and I can say this... the women love it, I love it, can be a signature fragrance due to its mature and crowd-pleasing smell, and I would for sure recommend it. Only thing is the performance: decent longevity, decent silage. But we must understand, this is for the public at large, this will have to tote the line of strong enough (but not overpowering), lasting long enough (but not long enough to scare a novice). 8.5/10

DARK HORSE I blind bought this because I had a good deal that would’ve been wasted otherwise... this turned out to be a diamond in the rough! This is probably the most versatile scent I have while not losing any integrity of the scent. It’s a crowd pleaser but still very nice rather than too vague. Fresh spicy, a bit fougere, a little floral in moments I do think the edp is slightly better. Great scent, great performance, decent price. Well done GUCCI!

Great generic masculine fragrance, fresh sweet and floral. Definitely has that designer feel. Lasts okay though it's a bit intimate. Can be used in almost any occasion thought is too generic to be a signature scent. I don't smell the dry wood and musk too much in the base and is mostly lavender, lemon, and nutmeg, with a little sweetness. The woody accord is not that apparent for me, it's primarily fresh spicy. But easy recommend nonetheless.

Man I like this one! Prob my fav of the Guilty line.. thought it was the elixir but this doing it even more for me, if you want the Guilty dna slightly dirtier and not as sweet as the elixir then I say do the parfum! This gives me guilty dna fused with little chanel bleu parf and yes the woods of polo double black! This is a beaut! And I don’t need anymore fragrances! Ahhhh! 🤣✨😍👌🏼

I had a local Dupe of it literally 1:1, i got nice response i mean it's just a sleeper colonge, not sure about the female reactions but my friends like that alot and you really gotta Spray like 16-18 sprays to get a decent 4-5 hour lasting with a good projection other wise just it's just a normal skin scent i sprayed on skin tho on clothes maybe 10-15mins more cuz I've tried both
