Guilty Love Edition MMXXI pour Homme

For me it smalls almost 1:1 with the 2011 OG Gucci Guilty EDT but still slighly different. It is a bit less loud and has poorer performance, but smells just more rounded and pleasing. I cannot smell the honey tho. Very fresh, floral, and masculine. For me its perfect for work and the gym

Got this for $60 from a discounter, and I think it's a bit overpriced even at that price. It start's off with a floral, sweet, soapy mix. Then about an hour or so later I got this very familiar scent that took me a few minutes to register. It was a 90% Dior Sauvage with about 10% florals. Didn't expect that at all, and while it's no bad scent by any means, it made this feel like a somewhat redundant buy. Longevity was about 5 hours total. Projection was surprisingly not bad, within 2 feet. There is nothing bad about this, but not a must have.

starts with a strong lemon pleasing to the nose. maybe a little too strong. slightly flowing towards a green orange blossom and neroli approaching towards honey. but the lemon continues to be too present yet. I do not feel lavender. cedar wood it is really soft it is imperceptible. as well as patchouli. at the end it is a strong lemon scent with a honey base. white floral? enough but not in a too obvious way. don't expect a fleur du male or a penhaligon's castile or an old school like anucci. inferior to any other white floral if you can call it that. to avoid. disappointment. lemon and honey. stop.

May I ask a question to anyone who thinks they might be able to offer me some honest advice/insights/opinions? Would any of you who have tested the male counterpart be so kind as to give your opinions on to whether or not you find "Guilty Love MMXXII Por Homme" to anywhere within the unisex spectrum/wearable or appealing on a female? Even if you yourself dislike the actual fragrance, do you feel that it is a scent that an eclectic woman could potentially pull it off? I own/cherish many "unisex" fragrances, and I must admit that I am rather intrigued by the notes listed - honey and lavender being two of my favourites. Also, on a purely superficial level, the COLOR of the bottle itself is *SUBLIME* (...Sorry, I'm a freak for purple of all variations, but possess a particular infatuation/weakness for those that exist within the pastel range. And, this exact shade of greige/lilac Gucci picked out to encapsulate the juice held within has gotten me downright twitterpated... **fans self**) - So, any and all input would be greatly appreciated! *Idk if this is relevant or not, but I found this flanker's sister/counterpart ("Por Femme MMXXII") to be oddly/overly fruity and just a bit "off" with my personal chemistry. However, contrary to the many mixed reviews, I wholeheartedly ADORE the OG "Guilty Love Por Femme" so much that I am already onto my second (larger) bottle.... I have not tried ANY of the Por Homme "Guilty" offerings, so I have no point of reference beyond these reviews atm... **P.S. If this is more appropriate fodder for the forum, please lmk and I'll relocate my query asap. I'm fairly new here - so much so that this is actually my first post - so please forgive any indiscretions on my behalf, and accept my humblest of apologies. Lastly, a huge, sincere "Thank You!" to anyone kind enough to humor my babblings and/or shed further light upon my query. You've all been "scent-sational". (Ugh, even I rolled my eyes at that... It's been a long week... *Sigh...*)

Some_Velvet_Morning - I have been wearing this all day, after receiving it this morning. I would say it is undoubtedly unisex, at least to me. It kind of sits in CK One territory. The bottle looks great in the flesh too. You can tell it’s a flanker for the previous Love Edition release. I’d say it is somewhere between that one and GGPH Intense. It has that real clean sharpness to it, bright lemon citrus from the opening. The floral elements are there but in the same way they are in CK One. At least for me, most of the notes are very blended - so it all comes together to make something: a bit sharp, a bit floral, a little bit soapy... very clean. Performance does seem rather poor but I have found it is worth going doubling up on the sprays, it’s definitely better for it. As the day went on I found myself regularly bringing my arm up to catch a better sniff of it, so I do find it really pleasant. Nothing groundbreaking this one but as a fan of the line, I’m not disappointed by it at all.
