Moonlight Serenade Scented Water

The most beautiful Lavender scent i have ever smell but only for the first 10 Seconds. Literally 10 Sec. and its gone. I know, the name said "Scented Water" but what's the point for having a full bottle (or even launch this perfume) if its can last only 10 second? Scent : 10/10 Performance 0.1/10 Period.

This fragrance is a lovely fresh lavender. Wish the bottle reflected that. It would have been such a pretty 😍 addition to this collection. A very light, clean, green lavender lotion. Pleasant, fleeting, moderate projection, low longevity. Reminds me of Chanel Jersey, not nearly as potent though.

Reminds me of being a baby, if that’s possible. In a good way. I feel comforted. But yes, the lasting power is abysmal. 5 minutes maybe. The most similar fragrance I’ve smelled is Lush Twilight, which also features lavender and tonka. Moonlight serenade is just a bit more airy and botanical

Gucci’s ‘Moonlight Serenade’ is so short-lived as it’s only a scented water, but in those moments it’s with you, it’s such a beautiful, realistic lavender soliflore. This shy and fleeting fragrance is like Cinderella, as soon as she enters the ball, she’s the most authentic and beautiful thing you’ve ever experienced, but as the party warms-up and the clock strikes midnight, she’s suddenly gone, and doesn’t even leave behind her shoe.

Blind-bought a small decant of this because I love lavender. I've been wearing it for 2 days and I'm very pleased that it lasts on me for about 2 hours, unlike the other reviewers who observed that it dissipates incredibly quickly. Unfortunately, other than a very brief whiff of lavender at the start, this smells to me like one-dimensional sage. I'm glad I just got a decant and didn't splurge on the full bottle.

Pure lavender scent 💜, disappearing longevity and projection compared to the price paid.

Lavender-scented water--Gucci is not joking. Evaporates and it is barely perceptible.

This fades away after 5 minutes.... Nothing special, you could easily find the same scent like this in other fragrances, pretty bottles, though doesn't worth the price!

This hit me with a blast of sage that died quickly into a very faint lingering smell on my wrist. No lavender or tonka which was disappointing because I bought the sample for those notes. Very one-note, gross, and weak.

Tested on back of my hand. Immediate blast of memories of my grandma that used different types of lavender eau de toilette through her life. Sometimes I was not keen on certain brands and sometimes I was uninterested, but it was her scent. This is a lovely lavender, it’s green but also creamy. It’s a lavender that I, as a non lover of that note, will probably wear from my tester for fun and memories sake, because it does not last more than an hour (at a push). Would I splash out on a full bottle? Not for me, but if my grandma was still alive it would have been the perfect gift for her 90th birthday this past December. A little decadent treat that she could spray freely and admire the bottle on her dresser.

dream girl that is moonlight serenade. the beautiful vintage porcelain floral bottle and the aromatic lavender with sage transports you to a beautiful dream, running through lavender fields.

so beautiful, so timeless, so androgynously ethereal and angelic. the entire line is eden-like. wont last too long but a single spritz makes me smile for a week. im glad this exists.

smells like my grandpa. I think this perfume is not suited for youngsters.
