Muschio di Luce

To put it simply Muschio di Luce is a masculine leaning (but still unisex) fragrance. It is an elegant and smooth musk paired with the sweetness of the sandalwood and woodiness of vetiver and cedar. Personally this fragrance shares relations to Musk Therapy Initio Parfums Prives however it is a tad sweeter and overall has more depth. Furthermore the warm spices in Muschio di Luce adds character and versatility to the fragrance. For me I’d say it’s an everyday fragrance but best suited for spring and fall (day). Similar the Musk Therapy the longevity and sillage is honestly moderate (5-6 hours with good projection, 7-8 as a skin scent). The price point unfortunately expensive but neither the less it is a beautiful fragrance. (9.2/10)

This is a strong entry into the white musk space. In fact, Gucci’s first real attempt at a straight-up musk, after their underwhelming Black Musk. If you enjoy classics type musks like Blanc Kogane, Kiehl’s Original Musk, or Jovan Musk, this will feel familiar and approachable. What stands out is the lack of intrusive florals (jasmine, lily of the valley, etc.), which lets the musk stay clean and uninterrupted at the center. That said, I’m not sure most people will justify the full Alchemist premium for the scent alone, or just want the bottle. Personally, I am a musk lover, so I admit some bias - but so far, I’m genuinely enjoying it. ----------------------------------------- Scent 80/100 -----------------------------------------

So sexy. Resinous amber with light wood and aromatic greens. Very unisex to me. Has a clean smoky quality that reminds me of lighting incense after washing your hair. Would bathe in this. If I had the funds, this would be in my top 5 rotation.

This is Another 13's more interesting and refined counterpart, sans the soap at least on my skin which to me is a huge plus.

The moment I received the sample, I was already taken with it. I still love it when I get home and smell it again. I genuinely love it right through to the final notes. It’s not just that the top notes are lovely, or that the base notes are the best. The progression of the scent itself is consistently pleasing. A luminous musk rises with a sparkle, then gradually melts softly into the air. Rather than being sweet and melting, it feels as though it settles quietly. There’s no dramatic flair. Yet it doesn’t falter. It doesn’t run wild. It doesn’t let you down. Rather than adorning the skin, it’s a scent that seems to gently clarify one’s contours. It doesn’t assert itself strongly, yet somehow it leaves a lasting impression. A quiet radiance that you only notice when you draw close. It’s actually quite rare to come across a fragrance that you simply ‘love’ from start to finish. Perhaps this isn’t so much a ‘fragrance I love’ as a ‘fragrance that suits me’.

It didn’t wow me but also I don’t dislike it, it’s creamy pretty safe scent for both men and women but nothing groundbreaking in my humble opinion.

Soft, warm, and musky. It reminds me of Amouage Dia but in a smoother, quieter way.

the boring, anemic copycat of Another 13.

It’s nice but it’s a little too masculine for me. Also it’s too heavy on the ambroxan for my personal taste but still it is a nice musk fragrance that I can see being a hit and I’m sure it will definitely get compliments! It smells better in the air than right up on skin. On my skin after it dries down I get mostly ambroxan and musk which does nothing for me, I enjoyed the opening way more. Also for me it smells better on clothes, somehow it’s creamier smelling on my shirt but on skin not so much. I wish it smelled more like that on my skin. It’s definitely a scent you will go nose blind to but others will notice it though. Easy reach and work safe type of scent. I thought it might have some resemblance to Musk K by Ella K but it doesn’t. I prefer that one as I don’t get much of any ambroxan in it plus it has iris. Musk K is also much more fem. This is unisex enough but leans more to the masc side to my nose. Edit: tried it again one more time the next day and yeah it’s just very heavy on the ambroxan, an ambroxan bomb honestly, ugh. If that note when amped up doesn’t bother you then try it out but for me I would have preferred it not have that or not so much of it at least. It drowns out the parts of the fragrance I do enjoy.

Little cardamom and benzoin on very warm musk It is soft and nice and feminine, but nothing outstanding , have smelt this many times before in differrnt brands and arabic indies that rely on musk for their day time offerings .. Muschio di Luce in Gucci is what Comet is in Chanel

Creamy musk... Beautiful creamy sandalwood that merges with musk to form a creamy musky blend with some vetiver, cedar. & ambrox. Later this mix kind of forms soapy effect alongside the musk. It's an interesting take on musk. Beautiful.

Opening is lovely but like others note this isn't particularly interesting. The best part disappears on me rather quickly. There's something very aldehydic and soapy that takes over. Not much musk after all.

this fragrance has a fuzziness to it that i can only compare to cat fur or a baby's head, you know what im talking about. very comforting but i wouldnt wear it on me personally, maybe as a linen spray

“Musk of Light” in English. Musk musk musk. A bit of wood. A bit of milk. More musk. Smells like baby powder the next day. It’s very nice if you like musk.

Smells like somewhere between Blanc Kogane and Musk Butterfly. Spicy musky amber.
