I do not own a bottle of Gucci Nobile so cannot confirm as to whether this smells similar or not but what I can confirm after getting my hands on the bottle and trying out the juice is that this smells exactly like Pride of Rome by Jean Paul Dupont. This is full of herbs and spices and you have to love them to enjoy it: the coriander, oregano, and rosemary are very dominant. The first spray is a very strong blast of sharp spices which only mellow with time and there's little evolution on the skin.The base notes are well blended with the leather, patchouli, and cedar working to smoothen the sharpness and give this a masculine edge.It is long lasting on my skin with a good sillage. This is better enjoyed on the skin to appreciate the warmth the base notes bring. On paper, it is all herbs and spices. Not for the faint of heart and not something for the younger crowd. YOu have to be confident to rock this. Season-wise,will be good for cold weather and definitely not meant for the sweltering heat of summer.Once you go easy on the trigger...
