Aqua Allegoria Figue-Iris

A beautiful warm-weather fragrance without being citric, right up my alley! I swear, this is the exact smell that meets your nose on a breezy, summery day on the East coast. A sweet, myriad of gentle flowers, clean air, someone's laundry, and natural warmth. Figue-Iris is another magical offering from Guerlain, and quite possibly my favorite Aqua Allegoria so far. It retains that "natural, from the earth" smell this line seemed to be going for, but still retains a very perfumed aspect. It's not quite as literal as FIG. IRIS. Yes, you do sense the iris and violet, in that warm/powdery/sweet combination that it usually gives off (also, pretty fruity!)- and vanilla is noticeable too! But the figue leaf on my skin is just a hint, just green enough to take the fragrance back from going into "cosmetic" scented territory, and bring it right to that nature-meets-perfume crossroads. The texture isn't as sheer/transparent as some of the other AAs! Figue Iris has more body, and is more creamy, more luxurious in comparison. Almost bordering on slightly masculine in terms of being a bit musky and maybe even slightly nutty at times, but gorgeous beyond belief! It lies close to the skin, but is long lasting. Carefree & comfortable. Looking into a full-bottle of this beauty (Hah, another unicorn, just my luck!) ! 10/10.

This is a fun little perfume, it smells like a sweet tart candy! On first spritz I get a very green and zippy fruitiness, a citrus-like composition mixed with a green freshness. The fig comes out right away, it almost smells like a pear to me, it's the very first thing I pick up. There's a bright floral powderiness (iris) that surrounds the fig, a very Guerlain dry cosmetic powder that's very familiar, comforting and warm. There's a hint of a fresh sourness hiding in there too, maybe a bit of lemon? It's also a touch sweet. It's a big mix of fresh fruit and warm powder that wraps me in the lightest summer shawl. It's not a long wearing scent, but I do still smell it on clothes at the end of the day. It's a very happy and bright perfume!

A magnificent scent! Slightly fruity and green, cramy-powdery and gourmand and absolute not to sweet. Reminds me of the suntanoil/lotion of my girlfrind, the one from "Hawaiian Tropic" its realy close to it. But just a finger tip better and cuddlyer ;D Its just deliciously creamy, sunny and with a hint of coconut. I recommend it for erveryone who likes not to sweet but gourmand/powdry/creamy scents or even Suntanlotion. ;D Mhmmm... 10 out of 10 Points

So sad that this was discontinued. I have passed my feelings on to Guerlain :) One of my favourites. This is a warm, Summery fragrance. Creamy vanilla and fig with gorgeous powdery iris, all livened up with a bit of citrus and deepened with woodiness preventing it from being too sweet. Delicious. Beautifully feminine. It takes me away to balmy climates. Sadly, I can't find another bottle anywhere.

It's a really special, fresh summer fragrance with figue, which I love, but it's lasting power is very poor, so I sold it. Later I regretted it, and I would buy an other bottle, because I can't live without this.
