Aqua Allegoria Flora Cherrysia

Today is day one of skin testing this and I already have to fight back the impulse to whip my credit card out and buy the biggest bottle I can of this. Like I have Guerlain open in another tab right now. Maybe its because I don't have any watery florals (for spring? groundbreaking.) This opens with water drenched delicate fruity florals, like you're eating an ethereal fruit salad under the cover of a blossoming tree. The rain just stopped and the grass is damp. Once it settles, the fruitiness pulls back revealing a more voluptuous floral bouquet that doesn't crest too powdery. The bed it lies on is a pristine sparkling musk, like picking up professionally washed clothes. At $155 for a 125mL EDT, I am satisfied with its longevity. I first applied it at 7:30 in the morning, it became a clean skin scent 3 hours later. That skin scent lingered on me for another 2 hours until it faded (to be fair I was running late and didn't moisturize today which could be contributing to weaker staying power) the scent trail you leave behind is very pretty with this one. Wearing this makes me feel very cool, yet approachable and very put together.

Very clean scent. The watermelon is fresh but the rose gives it an almost honey-like note. It doesn't last very long on skin like most aquas allegorias but somehow it stays on clothes for days. I have a very sensitive sense of smell so I can't tolerate many fragrances well but this is one of my all time favorites. I'm a man so I only wear it at home but, to me at least, it's a dream come true. It's a great way to relax after a long day.

I find this edt pretty fresh, floral, not quite citric as the notes show here. I like it quite much, the duo of rose-cherry keeps it floral, then the watermelon gives it the freshness I adore, but I do not think that I would wear it in summer, it gets somehow too sweet on me. A good choice for the light fresh floral lovers. My allegoria!

Cherry blossom, pink florals, pear, and an undercurrent of soft rose, all on a white woody base. Absolutely stunning. Like an upscale version of every cherry blossom scent combined. I think it was very clever to put in the woody notes -it rounds out the floral and tempers the fruit from becoming screechy. Love it.

Perfect for Spring! Beautifully fresh and feminine - an intimate scent which genuinely makes you feel happy. A lovely choice for those occasions when strength of scent would not be welcome. It needs reapplied but the joy from the top-up is worth the inconvience. A favourite!

beautiful, dewy yet powdery, breezy and refreshing, a bright fruity floral. this IS the color pink manifested into scent and distilled into a bottle! it manages to be youthful and glowing, silky and practically beaming, but not immature at all. gosh i LOVE this 10/10

I love this perfume a lot! The bottle is gorgeous and the smell is very flowery but not “freshly” flowery. It is more for winter or autumn, quite too heavy for summer. It has a very interesting scent so it is hard to pick one note, but it is not boring at all

I blind bought this. 30 minutes after spraying it on my wrist I made an order for a refill bottle. Do with that information what you will. Longevity is also not bad at all especially for an edt. Projection is a bit intimate but i do not mind that at all.

I think that this fragrance is adorable. On my skin I can smell a lot of sweet, juicy, delicios watermelon and I want to eat myself. :D Even in the winter, it stay good on me and lasts more than 10 hours.

Very pretty cherry blossom. I get the watermelon as well especially when first sprayed. A really pretty girly scent. Nice & fresh for a hot day. Fresh but also sweet.

Skating on an ice rink of congealed pure rose water and cherry sakura petals. gorgeous. Very light and refreshing. smells like hopes and dreams.

This is pretty and so far the only cherry blossom fragrance I like.

I like Aqua Allegoria Flora Cherrysia by Guerlain, but it doesn't wow me in any way. It smells like your typical watery, pink and vaguely floral scent for girly girls and a bit like something Barbie would wear. It is a very artificial and not natural smelling perfume. In the top notes I liked the hint of citrus from the bargamot, but I found the watery and fruity watermelon too much and a bit saccharine sweet from the get go. I could have done without this and I think that lemon blossom instead would have made this smell better in a more balanced way. I loved the floral notes of cherry blossom and rose in the heart of this fragrance, since it made me think of romance and spring time. I'm not mad on the pear note though and I again think that it makes this perfume too watery, sweet and fruity. Kind of like some sort of fruity cooler you drink from a glass pitcher. The base notes were nice though and the musk and violet here really gave this perfume a nice and powdery and musky base that made me think a bit of the smell of their (Guerlain's) Météorites pearls. It added the right amount of sophistication to this fragrance without making it smell mature. I got 5 hours wear from a test of this fragrance on my skin and a moderate sillage. I reccomend it for both spring and summer and as something you spray on yourself during the day. Aqua Allegoria Flora Cherrysia is a very light and fresh fragrance. Altogether, I'd give Aqua Allegoria Flora Cherrysia a good but not excellent 7/10. You at least wouldn't offend anyone at the office wearing this and it does smell pretty and feminine. Not challenging smelling at all too.

had i not already fallen in love with (and purchased) Flora Salvaggia i don't think i would have had a proper reference point to fully appreciate this Allegoria. Flora Cherrysia is the softer sibling of the two. a diffused yet ever present cherry blossom. the same ozonic freshness as Salvaggia, but with bergamot tenderly leading the way to melon and a warm landing on Guerlain's musk. a cloud of floral effervescence. it feels soft, it feels pretty. this is comforting, like getting a hug from that friend who gives the best hugs and wears lovely perfume that you never ask the name of cos it's their secret. this feels like the best hug giver's secret fragrance. this perfume reminds me of something from my youth that made me feel safe and loved. i wanted violets without drowning in powder; they gave us Flora Salvaggia. i wanted sakura without drowning in powder; they gave us Flora Cherrysia. they're on to something with these more recent Flora releases, as for many years prior i'd never clicked with anything from the Allegoria line. now i have two Allegorias purchased the same year.

This scent is so romantic and beautiful. On myself the bergamot is quite strong and gives a fresh spiciness. The rose and cherry blossom are soft and very pretty. I personally don't get enough watermelon (wish it was stronger), but I guess it's quite a soft scent and adds to the aquatic notes in the fragrance. The trail of the scent is much different than what I smell on my skin. If I press my nose into my wrist the bergamot is overwhelming and the florals only show up in the after smell at the back of my pallet, I can almost taste them. But the trail is full of wonderful pink florals and is so feminine. I understand why this is listed as unisex but I personally find it very feminine. This is perfect for spring, and will also work wonderfully in the summer. I can see how heat would really amp up the florals. This fragrance is perfect for everyday wear.

I've spent a pretty long time at Guerlain's counter looking for the right scent for my mom, and I reckon, Flora Cherrysia might be the best one from the whole Aqua Allegoria line. To me, at least. The scent is wonderful. It's refreshing, aquatic but not your typical rose water. Cherry blossom seems to be a bit more prevalent here than the rose, and together as a whole, these two give a very nice character to the scent. I didn't expect much silage and longevity out of Flora Cherrysia but was pleasantly surprised with a complete opposite result where the scent managed to last the whole day and left a thin veil-like trail. Even though this wouldn't be my personal pick for my own fragrance collection, I enjoyed testing out the scent and had an overall wonderful experience. Definitely worth checking out. Got no regrets for buying it.

I just got this today and this was a bit underwhelming. It smells like a mixture of water, bergamot, grass and cherry blossom. I expected something like L’imperatrice by D&G, maybe more floral and less fruity. Unfortunately, it was neither fruity nor floral. I am hoping this does better in summer, since sometimes in the heat, these types of scents actually do better. Lasted 3 hours on my skin in tropical winter weather. However it is a light, fresh and inoffensive scent, very much daytime appropriate. It could easily be a unisex fragrance, leaning feminine. I believe this will be a good layering scent as well. I’ll keep experimenting with it during the upcoming seasons.

It is a lovely but, on me, a very faint fragrance. I keep spraying and spraying to get any kind of scent out of it. But once its layered enough, it is very lovely. It dries down to a layered pear, peony, cherry blossom, only a hint of watermelon to me. Hint of the ozonic fragrance, kind of like the cloud where the fruit and flower notes rest on. Very subtle, sweetness without any heaviness. A sense of catching the scent in the air around me when I move rather than smelling it on me. Layered enough to continue to be interesting. If I were the creator of this, I would have seen if I could get linden blossom as a note into this one. Hm. Lovely but ah so faint.

It overall smells good, I got compliments, but the sillage is poor and I wish the perfume was softer (not weaker). The opening is a heavy bergamot cherry blossom with a hint of watermelon, then 1-3 hours later morphs into a musky floral, then around 4-6 hours it's a clean skin scent. I have a sample, while the price for a full bottle and the scent aren't that bad, I feel the notes are heavier than it should be to be really agreeable. I'm still hesitating and will use up my sample easily, but I have plenty other citrus floral perfumes in my collection that I prefer.

At the opening i get cherry blossom, aquatic and little touch of citrus. The opening is pretty, but not more than that. At the drydown i smelled the watermelon i longed for! Very pleasant fresh watermelon with some aquatics. This perfume, as other perfume i smelled from Aqua Allegoria line, is very natural smelling, very true to the ingredient. I would get it to wear at home as a body mist if not for this price.. you can get better body mists for cheaper than that.. I wouldn’t recommend buying.

Starts out sweet lemony fresh, becomes more floral like lemon blossom and sweeter as its drying down, cherry blossom becomes more noticeable, it does have watermelon something to it, but its cold and sweet watermelon and fresh. At dry down its more sweet tiny bit powdery but in a nice feminine way also more musky. Overall the fragrance is very light. clean, so fresh and uplifting, I really enjoy this Aqua Allegoria. Would be absolutely Amazing for super hot day. Definitely a feminine freshy.

A pleasant perfume that sticks firmly to clothes — this fact surprises me. Everything about it is good — it’s long-lasting for an eau de toilette, sweet, and really gives off cherry notes. A very, very delicate fragrance. The only problem is the price — I won’t buy it again at that cost, and honestly, I’m not even drawn to it anymore. It seems not that simple, but still quite ordinary. I can recommend it, but only if it’s on a good discount.

Like someone else said in their review, it's nothing exciting. This fragrance is nice, don't get me wrong: in the opening I smell the pulp of real cherries and then it turns into a light floral on me. It hasn't lasted very long, less than three hours, but I wasn't surprised since the projection is very soft and the heat of that day was devastating. One of those perfumes that you quickly forget about.

Gorgeous opening with cherry blossom mixed with juicy watermelon and dash of pear. Shortly after transforms to more citrusy. After 30 min becomes a skin scent, still nice, light and delicate. After 2 hours it turns to pure musk and stayes for hours. Due to the start it is a like, but probably won’t buy it. I tried it next to Ginger Piccante, that one has more character and better performance.

There are a lot of notes that people with refined noses are distinguishing. This smells like eating a fruity lollipop in the garden to me. By no means is it a bad thing. The fruit is pretty prominent and a mixture of watery/syrupy to me. It’s quite pretty. It smells like spring. This did end up feeling a bit too sweet on me at times, but overall I think it is a lovely little scent.

This smells citrus at first but when it has had time to sit on my skin it smells more flower. To me, ginger is a strong note here and it definitely isn't as "girly" as the packaging and the colour make it seem. Overall I don't hate it but I don't love it. This is one of those perfumes I would recommend you try out a lot before just because the scent is definitely not for everyone.

Really pretty springtime aquatic floral fragrance. I don't get any citrus, but get loads of watermelon that lasts through to the drydown. It reminds me a lot of Flora Salvaggia actually. The drydown isn't too musky luckily (I don't like musk), but to be fair, Guerlain's musk is actually very pleasant. Longevity and sillage are both pretty good.

This fragrance is right up my alley! Summery, light, uplifting and clean without being just blah. It has something very interesting about it. To me this is one of the best ones I've smelled in a while. I'm waiting for a good deal to buy it and I'm pretty sure it's going to be my signature.

Very pretty, fresh, sweet and aquatic floral. Feminine and natural, perfect for spring and the end of summer. Juicy without being overly zingy. Lasts for 5+ h. Too sweet for hot summer days.

The opening is a fizzy and a bit sour cherry blossom. Later it is pure musk. Clean, simple and pleasant. Nothing groundbreaking but nice. A crowd pleaser. Sillage and longevity are average.

A light cherry blossom scent, I also sense pear and even a watermelon note, which is surprisingly okay. It's nice, but seems without a character compared to other scents form that line.

Aquatic floral. Maybe the wateriness comes from watermelon and pear. It’s a very safe but pleasant scent.

She makes me smiling - fresh, pretty, light and summery!

Let me start off by saying, the bottle is very very gorgeous. One of the most elegant bottles that I’ve seen, and very practical. For the perfume, it’s not outstanding, but it’s not unpleasant. I like it, but I wish the citrus wasn’t as strong as it is, also the middle floral scent is prevalent. It starts of heavy, and I mean heavy on the citrus, so much so that it’s an pungent, I wish they put something sweeter in here, maybe honeysuckle so the citrus wouldn’t be overwhelmingly strong—or even a juicy fruit to balance that strong citrus.The bergamot in this is fierce, and kind of makes it seems like that’s all the notes you’ll get, but after 20 minutes that smell becomes mild (thank god because that was just killer to my nose) and you’ll smell more fresh notes in this. It smells a lot better, like the other notes are apparent, and I can smell a twinge of the watermelon (though I wish it was a lot more prominent) and little pear. I think the bergamot in this really hinders this perfumes potential. It could of smelled a lot more unique since bergamot is such a prevalent note in a lot of fragrance. Kind of disappointed that it didn’t smell sweeter (in a fruity way, not in a sugary way) and less citrusy and floral. I’ve smelled perfumes like this before, and was just not impressed. Also the dry down is a bit musky, powdered and floral. I smell a strong floral scent underneath the top notes, and in the middle is a strong cherry blossom mixed with rose scent (not going to lie, not my favorite, because it smells kind of nauseating). Overall, it is a nice scent, but nothing unique, or worth $130. It does smell expensive, I’ll say that for sure, but I wish the fragrance was less strident (like someone said on here, softer not weaker), and that the notes harmonized better. That citrus and the floral middle notes are really the main stars. Instead of a fruity floral, I’d say it’s a strong citrus-floral scent. If you’re a big fan of citrus/bergamot/ and strong cherry blossom mixed with florals in general then you’ll love this. Scent: 6/10 Sillage: 6/10 Longevity: 5+ hours (I can still smell it slightly after 10 hours on my skin, and/or if I wash it off)

I bought this because of D&G l’impératrice (my all time favorite and first scent), and I’d have to say, although Flora Cherrysia, and L’impératrice don’t smell alike, they both have a fresh, aquatic feel to it. I would say for sure that Flora Cherrysia is stronger smelling (still inoffensive, but don’t put your nose to it, because it smells very flowery and sharp) and I think all that is needed is 3-4 sprays, and it’ll last the whole day. On the other hand, L’impératrice needs like 12 sprays to last the whole day (they should have made this eau de parfum because even with my excellent nose, I can barely smell it). They are both aquatic, although L’impératrice is sweeter, tart, fruity, and has a woody dry down, while Cherrysia is more floral, but has a strong citrus opening (that dies down within 10 minutes) combo with watermelon, and the dry down is a musky flowery-powdery smell. Flora Cherrysia smells feminine, but also I could imagine a man wearing this, because some parts of it smell unisex. Both are lovely, but I definitely think L’impératrice is more unique smelling, while Flora Cherrysia smells more expensive if that makes sense. I like Flora Cherrysia (I’ve grown to like it, before I was kind of meh), but I love L’impératice. Both are good if you’re into fruity-floral aquatics, but if you’re more into citrus, then Cherrysia is the best bet :)

I was hit with a very strong smell of bergamot and watermelon upon the initial spray. Refreshing, but if you don't like citrus scents, it might throw you off... A few minutes in, the watermelon starts taking front and center as the citrus slowly fades. Then the floral notes follows into a graceful and gentle dance. I love this part! Imagine sugared flower petals with a splash of juicy watermelon. It gives off the vibe of a lovely cool summer or a very airy spring. As for the dry down, it's nothing like the strong fruity initial spray. It turns into the advertised description of smelling like watery florals (but with a splash of watermelons and pear). The combination of juicy fruits and faint florals actually reminds me of MJ Daisy Eau So Fresh, specifically the discontinued Skies one. Except this is definitely more on the watery side... Overall, it's pleasant, but pretty boring. A great "meh" fragrance for quick errands or after shower follow up scent. This has the performance of a fragrance mist on the skin. Not worth the hype, to be honest.

I sampled this inside a Guerlain boutique, and bought it without wearing for a while. Mistake. I have loved the Flor Salvaggia from this line, which has great sillage and longevity, and when I opened the bottle and sprayed it today, I could barely smell it. "Intimate" is another word for "no power whatsoever." I'm not sure why when I sprayed the sample in the boutique it was strong enough for me to buy on the spot. I'm going to see if I can return it. Pera Granita is also beautiful; I had a sample and loved it every time. But if I had to go with one in this line, it remains Flor Salvaggia. I live in Florida, and it's a great everyday scent for those of us in hot climates.

A missed opportunity. The promise of cherry blossoms should evoke light, airy spring days, but instead, the synthetic woody base dominates the fragrance. Flora Cherrysia starts with a faint whisper of fruitiness that’s quickly overshadowed by a heavy, almost plastic-like wood note that lingers far too long. The balance just isn’t there, I get no cherry blossom, no musk, none of that, only a faint, wooden brown pear. Super out of sync with its name.

After so many attempts to wear this I keep bummed out because I just smell a washed out cilantro...I almost feel the taste of it...And dont get me wrong, I LOVE cilantro, but on the skin... And it is just me smelling it, attempt after attempt. Please try it, it has all the good qualities of a nice and versatile fruity floral, I was just unlucky to have a malfunctioning nose.

First, I'm an undersprayer who loves the AA line, and also watery scents. I accidentally spilled 2ml all over myself. And I could still only smell it when I put my nose on it. I don't know if I'm anosmic to Guerlain's pear, but I felt this way with Pera Granita. It smells like watery nothing. What I do smell is nice but it's so incredibly light.

I may try it again in the warmer weather months, but for me the 70s isn't even quite warm enough. This lasted less than 2 hours on me, and it was pretty nondescript on drydown. It seems like the Aqua Allegoria are hit or miss for me. I'll edit my review when it's warmer if I'm able to try it then.

Lush, watery, but not exactly your typical aquatic scent. There is something about it that kind of makes my mouth water. Light and fresh, it's not a loud fragrance. I'm surprised no one mentioned how similar it is to Jo Malone's Wild Bluebell. To me, they are almost identical.

Smelling the atomizer proves to be a better and more worthwhile experience than actually smelling the perfume on your skin. Much more pear than cherry blossom on my skin. Safe and inoffensive spring and summer wear.

If you do not like strong musky florals, do not buy this fragrance. The opening is nice fresh fruits and then the base is a soft sweet floral, but the middle notes are very strong florals.

I get crisp, fresh watermelon. It is so fresh! But there’s a very soapy base to this, and a sharp, sour tone to it. Loved the wet spray, then devolved into a not so great.

After many tries, I have finally decided I don't really like this one. I have tried this one, and Flora Salvaggia, and they both have something at their base I don't enjoy. I am going to guess it is the white musk. It's hard to pin down... I guess it smells sort of like powdery deodorant to me? So it makes this one smell like powdery deodorant apple cider (in my opinion - smells more like that than "cherry blossom," or anything else), and Salvaggia smell like powdery deodorant watermelon. I guess I know that this line is not for me now. It also doesn't last very long, so even if you like the fragrance, I feel like it's rather expensive for what it is.

I don't like it. Its like green watery thing that is annoying. I had high hopes but nope, i dont find it attractive as a scent. This and herba fresca are my least favorite from this amazing line.

This is so odd to write but something about this perfume reminded me of pickles. The notes sound absolutely amazing but it just didn't blend right for me.

Very fruity for a petal fragrance. I don't find this similar to real cherry blossoms. It's so sweet-fruity, in some situations could become unbearable.
