Aqua Allegoria Florabloom Forte

Letmeregister, ignore Aryanasperfumes- they obviously think they have something to contribute - but don’t- other than attacking people. I have a sample of this- and on paper I should hate it. I don’t like Iris or powdery perfumes. I don’t like rose. My skin is the type of skin that can turn any popular or fresh or feminine fragrance into something nausea inducing. Miss Dior on my skin? It smells like bug spray. Libre smells like garlic and onions, and oddly Mon Guerlain turns sour on me. So my expectations of this were nonexistent- until I opened my package and smelled something beautiful. It was Guerlain Florabloom Forte! What? The notes indicate I would hate this. I sprayed it on my skin and — to my surprise it remains beautiful. The first spirits it’s beautiful- On my skin I can really pick up the tuberose - which is a scent I love (and oddly enough one of those scents people chase me down on the street and ask what I’m wearing - my bff can’t wear tuberose scents as they smell like burnt rubber on her). I kind of get images of walking through the gardens in Paris with this, and I can get a brief hint of a rose scent. There is a sweet scent but it’s all very brief. After about 20 minutes or so it dries down to a soap scent reminiscent of the hand soap at my job with only a hint of tuberose. Sadly, it is not full bottle worthy just because the dry down is so sad— the first 20 min or so though - magnifique!

The first time I put my nose on this, the smell sensations were like nothing I'd experienced before. It's in the same realm as aldehydes, but there's something different there than the ones I've experienced before, as it has a more effervescent quality. As the name suggests, floral notes dominate, with the one I'm smelling most being tuberose. There's a brightness to it, too, which seems to be an orange citrus note that blends into the tuberose. I was using almond extract while wearing this and accidentally spilled some on my hand, which made me realize how much almond is in here. It just gets swept up so much in the total experience that it's difficult to pick out on its own. I also catch whiffs of shredded coconut. It's not enough to turn this into a coconut-heavy fragrance but enough to push it more tropical. Interestingly, there's also a grape candy note. The overall feeling this fragrance provides is uplifting, happy, and carefree. The curious thing is that, at the end of the day when you can only smell this on your wrist with a close sniff, it starts to smell like a citrusy take on the original version of Drakkar Noir.

I'm impressed! I'm a fan of pre-2008 Guerlain and I didn't expect a Guerlain to impress me anymore but this has done it. I disliked the first Aqua Allegoria series that came out, but I've noticed some significant improvements in this new collection! This is a lovely feminine scent, on my skin it smells like a gorgeous musky rosey lavender which I love and will probably buy. It also lasts more than 4 hours without turning sour or unpleasant which is also impressive. I was surprised by how unique it smells, it's definitely not a combination I've smelled 100 times. It has identity, character, it's happy and feminine. Perfect for spring, and summer with maybe a lighter hand. Try it on and see how you feel about it! Edit: I bought it and it's my most comforting scent!

Florabloom Forte literally smells like a bouquet of flowers. You can smell some fruits on it initially but it's still very flower-heavy, I'd say it's 85% floral and 15% tropical. It's actually hard to detect just one particular flower in it, it just smells like a lovely bouquet that you dig your nose into. In terms of vibes it reminds me of Gucci Bloom or Gucci Guilty EDP, or even V&R Flowerbomb, they all smell like bouquets, but don't be afraid to buy Florabloom if you already have one of these, it definitely brings new to the table. I think the Forte is much more powerful than the EDT version, that one's too light for me personally, but decide for yourself.

Imagine if Moonlight In Heaven + Rolling In Love had a baby. This is exactly what Florabloom Forte smells like to me and I REALLY like it! It's cozy, clean, slightly powdery and just the right amount of sweet with a perfect balance between all the notes. This is one of those scents I'd definitely wear to bed. I'm honestly delighted to have tried this new release since I didn't have a crush on any of the other scents from the Aqua Allegoria line when trying in the past. Like they were nice but didn't particularly stand out to me? But this, this is love at first sniff for sure. I am seriously considering getting a full bottle of this!

i wish i had the words to say how much i love this perfume, if i could kiss florabloom i would. i would spritz her on all my love letters, my bedsheets, my home. ever since i first smelt this, i’d stop by at the department store whenever i’m in town to douse myself in it. (only reason i’ve not bought is i hit my perfume limit for the year already). florabloom really changed my opinion on guerlain, if it’s so generic i hope someone can tell me similar scents. i do not smell mango, it does have a creamy floral blend and the coconut is great in this. chefs kiss. it has become my joint-signature scent with elie saab le essential.

I wasn’t expecting to like this but I received a sample and I love it. A fruity floral which verges on tropical - it’s rounded, fun and bright. I get the mango, flowers and musk in there. It feels young and summery. The performance is decent and it makes me feel beautiful and feminine. Definitely considering a full bottle. Edit: surprise, I bought the full bottle... Edit again: this has fast become one of my favourite perfumes. Also, the performance is surprisingly decent - I reapplied it several times yesterday and I can still distinctly smell it on my skin about 20 hours later. Quietly persistent!

I got a mini of this with my purchase of Terracotta. I had smelled the og florabloom and didn't remember being impressed, but when I smelled this, omg I even hesitated for a second if I shouldn't have bought the florabloom forte instead of the Terracotta. That's how good this is. Terracotta is IMO one of the most beautiful summer fragrances out there. And Florabloom Forte made me doubt. It is exotic, intoxicating, tropical, elegant, so so beautiful. I can't stop smelling my arm. This was a reminder for me that I need more Guerlain in my collection. Such masterpieces!

Literally the second fragrance I’ve paid full price for. (Chanel being the other)- I couldn’t wait for it to go lower at discounters and the wait time from discounter sites just wasn’t worth the 30$ I’d save so I got it personalized on Guerlain for free. That’s how amazing florabloom forte is! It reminds me of twilight woods just with much higher quality ingredients and more sophisticated. Think of them like cousins rather than sisters. You can smell the similarity to twilight woods but it’s just not the same. I can’t quite explain it. But the scent is HEAVENLY.

I tried the whole range of Gurlain fragrances in Flannels the other day. this 1 stood out! I was not expecting it to waft on me so much! That a lady commented on how good it smelled as dhe got onto the public transport. This has to be the most unique beautiful fragrance i have tried in a long time. The top notes of Mango Almond and manderine are some of my favourite notes! 😍 This fragrance makes me feel so feminine and sexy! It can take you through all the seasons day or night. This has to become my signature perfume! A stunning blend! 😍

god bless the sephora employee who packed the sample for this in my package back in 2024, you've opened my eyes to something i'd have never discovered on my own. i love florabloom. it smells beautiful, unique, like a lovely floral mango smoothie with a hint of a coconut. despite the coconut, to me it's primarly a spring scent, but i'm sure it works lovely for a moderately hot summer as well. if this smells like a grandma, then for sure i'm the best smelling 24 year old grandma there is in europe. love love love

Absolutely obsessed with it. Resentful at first when I asked the Sephora associate’s recommendation for a fresh strong summer scent and she immediately pointed me to this one, then realized after she was a Guerlain rep. But quickly got over the fact that she was trying to push this new scent on me, because I was immediately enraptured by the scent. So perfectly sweet but fresh and citrusy and floral and slightly creamy. Definitely my new summer scent. My man loves it too, couldn’t stop inhaling me lol.

Probably my most successful blind buy considering I’m generally not that much into florals. It smells luxurious, expensive, sophisticated, feminine, floral, fresh with hints of tropical fruits. I’d say it’s definitely not a teenage scent, got to be over the age of 20 to truly appreciate this scent. I don’t get the comments saying it’s a grandma smell, definitely not, I guess maybe to some? But nowhere near that level of Chanel no 5 😀 compared to that it’s a young smell. Definitely give it a sniff!

Office-safe tuberose, which is hard to find! I smell mostly tuberose and coconut but it’s not a beach coconut like sun tan lotion. A slight other floral scent but I wouldn’t categorize it as either Iris or rose, just sort of generic floral. But the tuberose is gorgeous. Smells about 6 inches from skin for a good two hours then it’s a complete skin scent for me for another 5 hours. I have a sample but probably buying it since I love tuberose and this is the first one I think I can wear to work.

This is the scent that made me re-considering valaya as my signature scent, it opens with mango, almond and orange then settles down to the comfiest powdery smell, however it’s not a soapy powder, not makeup powder either, it’s kind of fruity, coconutty powder, for someone who hates coconut in perfumes this one made me love it! It’s very well done and well blended I can still smell a wave of mango in the dry down but it’s softer than the opening, it makes you crave a mango frozen yogurt :)

I tried this at Selfridges and loved it on the tester ...and I had to have it. It’s was bright sweet fruity and fresh, just my thing. But it’s been a disappointment owning a bottle - I get a bit of a unpleasant musk(??) on first blast which does persist through the wear although dulls down after awhile - in a way I have the same experience with valaya - it kind of spoils it for me. There’s something funky it both that I don’t like. It’s also a very poor performer. It’s not for me.

I stopped a girl to ask her what fragrance she wore, what more I need to say about how I feel about this beauty. There are all the notes I love. On my skin, iris and violet are the leaders, then rose and lovely coconut note. Well, maybe I could compare it with Insolence with a tropical twist. It's definitely not generic or boring to me, I find it captivating and feminine. Performs well on my skin. I didn't plan to, but it will be mine as soon as possible.

Smelled beautifully of mango in store, but the bottle smells highly of tuberose. It was love at first sniff - the stronger sandalwood scent adds body compared to the EDT. Does not smell like coconut at all for me but this is subjective. The projection is not very good (very intimate on me), but it lasts for hours on the skin. Happy with the purchase, just sad that the mango dominance is not as great in bottle in contrast to the tester in store.

I can’t describe notes but I now how good I’m feeling wearing this perfume. I smelled it in Douglas and instantly knew that I must have it. This is my second bottle and I stopped using any other perfumes. I feel so sophisticated and elegant wearing it and also joyful and happy. I got compliments at the mall wearing it. When I was pregnant this was the only perfume that I wore and also has good ingredients, that’s why the price is a bit high.
