Champs Elysees Eau de Toilette

An elegant, fresh, understated fruity floral, perfect in Spring and early Summer. Opens with a beautiful violet note that is in perfect harmony with a juicy peach. The opening on me is more fruity than floral, with peach, melon, and black currant. However, it is really the almond that is the star of the opening show. A soft almond that is a little bitter, a little sweet, and a little toasty; ending slightly woody and vanilla. Overall, one of the best openings I know, with a complete chord struck from the first notes, a rich peachy violet supported on an almond-vanilla foundation. The anise is very light and unobtrusive, flitting in and out, pairing briefly with the almond. I don’t get much melon on me, which is probably a blessing. The heart opens as a big floral, and remains floral throughout, but the juicy sweet peach lingers on, merging with the lilac and mimosa. This is a very mimosa laden fragrance overall, but the lilac is strong as well, and pairs with the lingering violet note. The rose balances it all beautifully. I don’t get much LOTV, just a slightly clean soapy white floral note. For me, this is all about balance and composition: the flowers create floral chords, with individual notes that come and go, similar to listening to an orchestra play a complex work, and suddenly hearing clearly a violin or flute. As far as the hibiscus: there is only one hibiscus that is fragrant, and it smells nothing like this. I believe this must be a “fantasy note” in Champs Elysees, I smell a tart, tropical floral note. The drydown is typically Guerlain, all vanilla and sandalwood goodness, here paired with almond tree and cedar, giving it a lovely resinous nutty effect. Overall, it is a little creamy and powdery, has excellent longevity and silage, and is a perfect choice for professional settings, especially in Spring and Summer. As Pitchlara noted in her review, it is a wonderful fragrance for folks living in the tropics and sub-tropics. It holds up extremely well in heat and humidity, and survives daily torrential rains in the rainy season, while remaining fresh.

The EDT of this perfume is delicious and beautiful! The EDP is far too sweet and loud so I prefer this softer subtler quiet lovely scent. I got it for free as a gift from a girlfriend who had gone to the Guerlain store in Paris France. The first spritz is a sweet fruity melange of peach, currant and anise. Comes through as fruity with a touch of spice, like a soft cinnamon or a fruit cake. I like currant and peach notes so to me the opening is wonderful. Most fruity floral fragrances start off with citrus so for this citrus free opening to start off with mainly anise and currant is a refreshing change. The peach is not very big. The floral heart is mostly mimosa and violet, and way in the background some white floral notes of lily of the valley and white rose. The florals are sweet and powdery. Because of the violet, there is a powdery cosmetic air like a retro talc powder in a boudoir. Feminine and classy. The florals are like a gauze like a little cloud of floral scents in purple pink white and yellow color specs. The richness of the florals eventually subsides and at the dry stage I am picking up on almonds or almond tree with another woody note the cedar wood. There is possibly amber and a touch of soft musk. There is also vanilla. The perfume is romantic and feels like you have to wear her for dress-up formal affairs, fancy restaurants and or romantic cruises. The aroma is not long lasting I guess because it is a toilette. On me it lasts no more than 3 to 4 hours but I don't mind. The scent is intimate and sits close to the skin and does not radiate very much. If you like fruity florals, powdery florals, slightly spicy florals and vanilla, this perfume does the trick. It reminds me of a kind of fragrance version of Parisian macarons. It evokes the image of a pretty French girl having cookies and macarons and sweets and feels like walking out on an open air market in Paris with a bunch of flowers with their floral scents wafting in the air. It's great for spring and summer. I can't tell you how much I like Champs Elysees.

This was my first 'real' fragrance back in the day, and I fell in love with it at first sniff. I was in a little suburban pharmacy in a sprawling grey shopping centre, and then suddenly the world turned into cream-coloured velvet. Heaven! I didn't even have to debate with myself about whether or not it was coming home with me -- C-E was my new best friend, and we'd be going *everywhere* together. I just knew it. I hurried home after work that evening, ready to bathe in my beautiful new velvety elixir and spend the night luxuriating. Hmmm, I thought, in my cloud of mimosa. Maybe I'll see what that perfume book I bought the other day has to say about this one, so I can understand the scent a little better! Out came Perfumes: The Guide. And there it was -- Champs-Elysees, Guerlain. And I read... and my beautiful cloud of velvety mimosa wonderfulness quietly drifted to the floor. The review is uncomplimentary, to say the least, and to my very uneducated and confidence-lacking nose, looking for signposts to better understand this particular fragrance, I have to admit that LT's review ruined Champs-Elysees for me, for a good few months. Not his fault of course, but mine for letting it magnify what were apparently negatives. I wanted guidance and influence, and I got it, so it was my own fault. This story has a happy ending, of course! Some time later I decided I didn't care what he thought; if my taste was plebeian, then plebeian and happy I'd be. And so I adore my Champs-Elysees, and I wear the heck out of it. That lovely quiet time between bath and bed is my favourite time to spend with it. I mostly get pure mimosa powder, that turns into something a little soapier and a smidge sweeter. I see all the listed notes and I search for them, but nope. Fluffy mimosa all the way. The scent of contentment and quiet luxuriance. Heaven. <3

Unless it's purely a body-chemistry clash, I don't know how anyone could hate this fragrance. Sure, if it's not for every day, all situations, or every mood, but this scent is like joy in a bottle. Perhaps it's the general hatred for anything fruity and bright, since the fragrance world is overloaded with so many overly bright, fruity florals now? I was around for the launch and at the time there was a lot of worry about what the future held, but also still a good dose of hope. In recent years, some days do feel like a dystopian sci-fi novel. Perhaps humanity is currently unable to feel such hope? Or perhaps those people find a thrill in proclaiming all things passe? Ah well don't mind that and let this bottle of joy lift you up. On my skin, fruity notes rarely smell very fruity beyond the first few minutes. Instead, they tend to brighten all the notes in the mix and that is the case here, with the floral notes turned up to volume 6 instead of 3 even though I'm wearing the EDT. It reminds me of my parents bringing fresh-cut flowers from the garden into the house at the peak of the season--somewhere between spring and summer where we lived. When the breeze blew just so, you'd be greeted by a tickle of vibrant florals, dancing to you from a room away. If this scent were a person, it would be a calm and grounded person with a twinkle in their eyes and a sincere, easy smile. Here, fashion matters less than feeling, so it is any person you love who loves you in equal measure, so that your own eyes twinkle back. This is for all ages and all people who can experience joy and love. And yes, I have smelled this on secure, confident men and it was a delight.

For something so delicately well made this has long lasting power! I have been looking for a perfume I can wear for daytime without offending other people's olfactory sense. This is kind of blind buy as I didn't check it on my skin first before buying this but I just can't let go of this last bottle in my nearby pharmacist's I have been reading the review on Champs Elysees for quite some time now and the reviews are so reassuring that I just ended up buying this one. First I advice not to smell it straight from the bottle as it is quite strong I was almost put off by it. I tried it on my bare shoulders one rainy and breezy July afternoon not too hot here in London right now. Beautiful creamy floral notes comes out not so much of the fruity ones on me but I don't care this is the real deal. This made me smell and feel so girly yet self assured. Will get you noticed quite easily without begging for one. Unlike some of the perfumes that comes out of the market right now Champs is not overly complicated but this doesn't need to be it's beauty comes from being understated yet elegantly delectable. I'm so glad I bought this.♥

One of my all time favorites. I got this as a teenager when my boyfriend worked the fragrance counter of our local department store. I picked it because it was so beautiful and sweet, but I didn't really wear it much back then. I felt sharper scents like Prescriptives Calyx suited my personality better. But Champs Elysees always held a place on my vanity for days I wanted to feel pretty. Not fierce or assertive, but just soft and feminine. I had forgotten about it until a lady walked through my office and I recognized the scent immediately. I dug out my 20 year old bottle and it was just as beautiful as it had always been. Now in my 40s, I can really appreciate this amazing concoction. It's very well blended, but mimosa stands out to me, as well as sweet fruit. The scent changes throughout the day and what remains on hair and clothing is different, but just as lovely as when first sprayed. And it lasts forever. One spray is enough to enjoy the entire day and beyond. I ordered a vintage bottle as a backup now that the fragrance has been reformulated. I never want to be without this. It's a masterpiece.

My favorite perfume together with Dolce Vita! I think the new version is totally not the same and for me it is not worth buying. Only vintage has the unforgettably fresh and sweet fragrance. I can't tell the notes separately, but the entire fragrance is just so harmonious, balanced and unique. It leaves a very joyful, lasting impression once you hear it. The scent is sweet and starts like something gourmand. Maybe some dainty almond pastry or marzipan or macaron perhaps. It smells so elegant and quintessentially French-- just what this fragrance symbolises: Paris, Champs Elysees, fashion boutiques, la Tour Eifel. You pop into a patisserie where you catch a glimpse of an elegant young woman who wears some mysterious French perfume, of course, and some floral scent wafts through the air, mixing with the aroma of fresh delectable pastries and spring flowers in the pots near the entrance, and you are wondering "What kind of fragrance is it?.." PS I am using the 1990's version in a gold box. The design is so iconic! This is an incredible masterpiece of fine French perfumery!

First I get a soft sweet citrus and a melon note - maybe honeydew - which then warms to a lovely heart of ripe berries and soft airy honeysuckle and white flowers. The base is a gentle bed of nutty notes and green woods. So well blended that it's hard to discern specific notes, but on me it stays sweet and fresh and energizing. I don't get much powder, but it does have a sporty soapy kinda quality that would make it a perfect spring or summer scent, an outdoors-all-day-in-the-sunshine, still fresh at 4 pm-kinda scent. Sweet & pretty and strong, but with soft silage since it's an EDT. I actually mistakenly ordered this thinking it was the edp but I don't see any drop in longevity. Guerlain is a noted powerhouse in that department, and here I've found their edt to be stronger and longer lasting than most of the edps in my collection. So I'm very pleased. I'm not even into fruity florals generally, but this is beautiful and different than most of my other scents, so I'm very happy I added it.

Wow this perfume immediately takes me back to the 90s! I wore this as a teenager when it was first released & it was my first big ‘luxury’ perfume love. It’s funny to see reviews talking about how cheerful, springy or light this fragrance is - because for me it went well with my moody, gothic style. The Portishead music in the original ads with Sophie Marceau not taking crap from her date was perfect! I wore this scent for years so it was definitely my signature through the late 90s. I always get compliments when I wear it and to this day I’ve never smelled anything quite like it. Not a typical floral or fruity floral. The cassis is strong on me which I’ve always loved. I think it just suits my chemistry. Been hearing this is discontinued which really makes me sad - I don’t wear it as much as I used to, but it’s one I always have in rotation. Plus it always takes me back to a time if life that was really special!

This is one of those rare perfumes that taught you something that you didn't know, who suprised you and made you open your eyes to a whole diffrent perfume category! It simply broadened your taste. First of all I'm no fan of true florals and a fruty floral seriously kills it for me. Slaughter it would be a better way to put it. And yellow florals? the colour of a floral wont change anything, it probably gonna suck as well. But hey, wait! This perfume really caught me at first sniff, it was a hasty blind buy for me and it turned out to be WONDERFUL! I am head over heels, blindly, madly IN LOVE with Champs Elysees! It's fresh, it's cosy, it delivers compliment after compliment and it's very long lasting wich I demand from e perfume. It's Guerlain at it's best, thank you Guerlain (like always!) for creating a perfume to love at all times, at parties, at lunch, at work, on my vaccation etc...

This is such a gorgeous scent, you just have to try it! I can't even begin to tell you what it smells like so I won't because I wouldn't get it right. All I can say about Champs Elysees is that it's Spring in a bottle and is one amazing perfume that's a must smell! I want to wear it out and wear it to bed. It's definitely a bedtime fragrance as well. I love to spray my cold sheets, jump in and snuggle down. The only problem I'm having with this fragrance is I get a little frustrated when I spray it. I can't decide how I want to spray myself with it. I want to drown myself in this beautiful stuff but if I spray it all over me, I lose the smell but everyone else can smell me. If I spray just my wrist and forearms I can get lost in the smell forever. I can't get enough and will be searching out backup bottles forsure. I never want to be without it in my collection.

This is Spring in a bottle - and perfect for the hot September weather we're having at the moment. On my skin, this is mainly fresh melon, almond marzipan, almond blossom and violets. Over time, the juicy currants come in to play their part along with the other florals. I only get a faint amount of Anise and Vanilla which kind of waft their way in and out over time. Champs Elysees feminine and light - but not light in the sense that others can't smell it, more light in a very fresh and non-cloying way. This gorgeous scent lasts the distance on my skin - a good 12 hours now and I'm still easily smelling it's beauty. To me, Champs Elysees is happiness and positivity in a bottle as it evokes those emotions in me :) Once again, Guerlain haven't failed to impress. Absolutely beautiful scent - one I don't think I'll ever be without again.

Such an effortlessly pretty scent! To me it is the similar vibe as So De La Renta - although the two are different as they are, yet have the similar effect. This one is mainly mimosa, and a bit of lilac on the side, subtle, light, yet sweet and pretty, I get bits of fruit as it dries down and almond too, but it still remains mainly a mimosa scent. Not much greenness or powderiness going on my skin, it is more of a fresh and subtle yet pretty and feminine perfume. I think it is timeless and suits spring and summer months the most, sillage and longevity I`d say moderate, but you do get wafts of it here and there, I spray generously anyway (it is an eau de toilette after all..) If you like mimosa and lilac, you`ll like this one and you`ll definitely keep it in your perfume wardrobe for ever. Love.

According to the house of Guerlain, perfumers Olivier Cresp and Jean-Paul Guerlain both submitted versions of this and Cresp's was chosen... A Guerlain may have created the 1904 "original" but its rare and scant if even still in existence. Considering this version came out in 1996 (2 years after LVMH acquired the House) and was the first non-Guerlain family member created perfume its very very nice; however, since Jacques's last perfume was Ode created in 1955 (with the help of grandson Jean-Paul) its seems strange crediting someone fourteen years deceased or the modern iteration that shares nothing with his work other than its name. Please add a page for the original (1904) if it was ever even released or amend this page. Please and thank you...

It,s all about mimosa and almonds. But Guerlain's way to do a mimosa and almonds perfume.The mimosa note is beautiful, smells of spring. It is mixed with the almonds, witch gives it a sort of bitterness and originality,instead of being too sweet and boring.The whole impression is of a floral fragrance, but the bouquet is done in a French way with so much elegance and finesse and sense of naturalness, with warmth instead of too much sweetness. The base is soft and sweet, instead of being too musky, witch makes it more feminine. A classy French flowery perfume from a house whose flag shop is in...Champs Elysees,of course..:-)

This is so pleasant and comforting! To my nose this is a creamy smelling high pitched floral, that smells airy and dense all at the same time. Similar scent to my L’Occitane rich face cream. It somehow balances soft but consuming. I can’t help but dig my face into the crook of my arm to steal smells all through out the day.. I wear this year round, but enjoy it most in the spring or in contrast the coldest of days. I don’t think I would have appreciated this when I was in my 20’s before my collection grew. But now, it truly is like a hug. And I can’t say that about any of my other fragrances. Champs Elysees is special..

Melon and mimosa -- fresh, fruity, and feminine! This is a modern classic. Champs Elysses is such a lovely spring/summer fragrance; it is ripe with fruit but far-removed from the fruit-chouli bombs so popular currently. The melon note is what makes this fragrance distinctive, lending an overall light, almost watery quality. It is bright and subtly sweet, with petal-soft base notes of sandal wood, musk, and a pinch of vanilla and almond. This would be a pretty, romantic fragrance for a bride, a young girl just starting to explore perfumes, or someone who is looking for a fresh floral that is not too "flowery."

I love this fragrance. Some people ( including some acid-tongue "professional"who has some issues with its popularity in some particular hemisphere of the globe ) say it is one of the worst Guerlain's or even say a mistake(!), I don't find it deserves such a bad mouthing. While I was working in a busy tropical city, this was the fragrance I used up at least 4 bottles in a row. Decent, youthful and elegant floral. Clearness and sophisticated femininity of the fragrance is just nice for summer weather city life. Under the tropical sun, sadly, some perfume can easily go wrong in a lot of senses.

I bought this in the mid 90's when they use to pass cards out with the notes Top notes are Black currents, pink buddleia (butterfly bush), Almond Blossom, mimosa blossoms Middle Notes Almond, rose,hibiscus, cherry blossoms Base Notes Almond Wood, Orris root, balsam resin Scent is strong of buddleia I made an extract of flowers so I speak from experience. It's a timeless, fun and playful fragrance. If you want a guy to never forget you wear this. It's not jarring like other Gerlain fragrances. This is soft and light but long lasting.

Champs-Élysées is one of my favorite perfumes! I have the vintage bottle. I agree with the reviewer that it has a champagne vibe to it. It doesn't smell like liquor, but it has sparkling florals and powdery notes that remind me of champagne bubbles. I would love to wear this scent in the summer because the EDT scent is light and easy to wear, but it doesn't work well with high temperatures and humidity, so I tend to use it in the spring and fall. It smell better when sprayed on clothing than when sprayed directly on the skin.

This was my signature scent in my 20s. All day, every day. It was the perfect floral for a young adult. Then I put it away for years. I found a bottle on sale and couldn't resist. I sill like it but don't love it the same as I used to. It's still a beautiful soft floral, but I swear I smell a slight note of PlayDoh when it dries down. Maybe my ski chemestry has just changed. Did the formula change perhaps? So, its a light elegant floral with a lot of sparkle, sophisitication and a touch of PlayDoh :)

When this scent came out, my cousin made it her signature scent, then she hooked her mom (my aunt) on it, next was my mom...and finally they converted me as well:)This is a perfect classic scent that is for any time of the year, is suitable for any occasion and is sooo likable. Personally for me it is very comforting as it always reminds me of my mom, but it is not an "old" scent at all, on the contrary- it is fresh and flowery, very long lasting as well. Highly recommended!

This is one of my all time faves, I wanted to buy a few bottles duty free when I was leaving Sydney airport but they didn't have any. I asked the sales lady for some but she said it was DISCONTINUED!! and tried to push the new guerlain black dress or whatever it was called insisting that this new one was better. I was devastated. But then in Rome duty free they had plenty, so I don't know what's going on. Please don't let this be discontinued! It's the ultimate spring scent.

I blind bought this based on reviews and my love of Guerlain. I didn't go wrong. It's a really cute and berry/floral fragrance that is (with any Geurlain I try) quite comforting. It's sparkling and bubbly, like wearing a flowery champagne, I think it comes from the mimosa. It's also quite fresh but has a soft heart. An elegant yet bubbly fragrance ideal for spring and summer nights. But I like to wear it all the time ;) Lasts 4-5 hours with sillage that stays close. Love it.

Most people do not know this, but in ninety six, when this was released.The original cards that came with the perfume showed that the top note had cherry blossom in it.And that the heart note introduced buddleia(butterfly bush) Jean-Paul Guerlain openly stated in his 1996 interviews that Champs-Élysées was the very first fragrance in history to use buddleia Original formulation this had a cherry floral almondy scent it was heavenly. I wanted to correct the notes.

Seriously, this is one of the best fragrances ever. I used it for years after it's initial release, strayed to other perfumes through the years, but recently got a new bottle. Oh my, it's just as delicious as before! The black currant and mimosa are most dominant on me and it suits me well because I love those scents so much. It's a 'happy' fragrance, uplifting, joyful with just the right depth and intrigue. Love it and so glad it's still be made :)

For years I have been on a never ending search for my signature perfume, and then one day I realized it was Champs Elysees all along. I tend to be fickle with perfumes, but Champs Elysees has stuck around for near five years. I never get tired of it or think it's boring. It's not a particularly stunning perfume or a bombshell, but it has a quality of daily elegance that makes it appealing to me. I can wear it anywhere and feel like myself.

It's so LOVELY! When you wear it you will fell yourself very feminine and elegant walking in a French boulevard! A real modern classic!! an evergreen! the roses, the mimoses and the lilac are so pretty!!! I prefer wearing it in Spring and summer although it's cosy in every season because of its distinctive features. A wanderful Guerlain's scent!!! A must-have for those who love flowery scent and fragrances in general!!

This is very pretty. At first I get more lilac. After a few minutes more mimosa comes out and it reminds me of a cool spring day. My favorites usually a have jasmine, orange blossom or magnolia as the star but this is a very nice change. I only get a little of the LOTV and the peach, for me it far more floral than fruity.I think you could wear this daily for most everything. Its inoffensive but still lovely and unique.

This is the reason why the house of Guerlain are the masters at perfumery. With fragrances such as this one that evoke strong emotion and imagery. This fragrance too me is spring at its best. Innocent baby lambs frolicking on a green meadow littered with daffodils, lilacs and lily of the valley; carefree and oh so adorable! This is the smell of spring! Beautiful...i just can't explain how great this perfume is.

Truly GORGEOUS! A compliment magnet if I ever saw one. The mimosa-melon-almond combination layered over the florals and sandalwood is pure Guerlain. Utterly stunning. I have both the EDT and the EDP and I love them both. You can wear them separately or layered over each other. Keep one at work; one at home. The fragrance lifts you up to the stratosphere. A simple day can be magical with Champs-Elysees.😍💝🌺🌷🌹🍑

When I was around 10, used to go through my grandmother’s perfume collection, and this one always caught my attention. on special occasions, I would ask “grandma, can I wear that perfume?” She always let me, saying she was saving it for me. today, at 26, I received it as a gift. I saw a comment below from someone who also got the same perfume from their grandma. So beautiful. Deeply emotional and special.

Many attempts to fall in love with it. Done! Real floral fruity. It smells floral on fruity base. I wouldn't say that any flower smells 100% here like it truly smells in nature, but the bouquet in result is wonderful! It's really like a bouquet smell. Or like wind brings. Speaking about fruity notes, peach and melon are more obvious. I feel anise sourness a little bit. Classic spring beauty!!! Charming!

Guerlain Champs Elysees (1996) - mimosa blossoms - If you are looking for a fragrance makes Mimosa as its focus, look no further with this #jeanpaulguerlain creation. Blackcurrant buds, powdery and honeyed Mimosa, Rose are complimented with Almond blossoms creating this ethereal yet intense bouquet. A mimosa perfume that transitions between fresh, dewy, powdery to animalic as the day progresses.

I had a few approaches with this one to really gets it beauty. Maybe its the time of the year, early spring is best to try Champs Elysees. Elegant scent without distance, flowers and sublte powdery notes mixed, some greenness and warm peach fruit. I really like it, its developing to rather close to skin scent after so time but for me not a problem. I recommend it at this time of the year.

I miss the smell of the old Champs Élyseés EDT e EDP so much!!! I love the old version, and I really liked the version in the bee bottle, but the one that is sold now... is a shadow, something sad that only reminds me of what it once was. I always come here to read, hoping that someone will suggest another perfume that is a twin of the old Champs, and that has not been discontinued.

This is one of my favorite perfume since its inception. I bought it back when the note cards suggested Cherry blossoms & buddleia before it was replaced by almond blossoms & lilacs. For my nose, I pick up the mimosa. I also pick up the lilac and I pick up the melon and the peach as well as the almond. Its sweet soft and last 6-8 hrs as a close scent. I prefer the edt to the edp.

I simply adore this perfume. It starts mildly fruity and softly floral and over the course of the next hour or so it morphs into this beautiful, slightly delicate white/yellow floral that I can't stop sniffing. Finally, I've found a juice that was made for my chemistry. I love spraying this on after my morning bath atop BBW'S Butterfly Flower body lotion. Simply divine!

Why are you so pretty? How is it that I have ignored you for so long? I have been looking for someone like you...in my dreams... Champs Elysees EDT is a beautiful lilac/mimosa scent with fresh fruity accords and very soft benzoin/ resins. Spring in a bottle, soft, feminine, innocent and charming, probably a good wedding day scent. Projection is soft to moderate.

I have owned this for 20 years and for the first time I met this at my son's kindergarten where his teacher used to wear it. I found it very, very fresh and warmly floral with a hint of vanilla. This is all time all place fragrance, where ever you go you can trust it. Quite subtle, sophisticated, warm and serene, though also uplifting and energising multitalent!

Unbelievably beautiful! One of my all-time favourite fragrances. The scent reminds me of sparkling champagne with melon or peaches, placed in a garden with white flowers. Heaven on earth. This is a perfume that starts light and slowly develops over an hour or so with body heat and lasts all day. If you like classic florals you will love this. Five stars!!!!

On my dry, pale, older skin, I find the lilac and mimosa scents are very dominant and this becaomes very floral on me--the fruit notes can make it too cloying on a really warm day. I actually prefer the lighter, more shimmery "Too Much Champs-Elysees"--which I cannot find a bottle of now! Still--I DO like it and always wear it during spring....

Spring flowers in a bottle! Mimosa, lilac and lily of the valley with a fruity base that gives it sweetness, but it's really all about the spring flowers. Champs Elysees EDT is beautiful, light and feminine in the way of classic perfumes. Wearing this perfume never fails to put me in a good mood and make me feel ultra feminine!

I am not an expect in describing each individual note but I really like this. Somewhat sweet but the sweetness is not over done. On my skin, it's whisper soft, delicate and very feminine. An ageless, timeless scent. A great perfume for a special occasion or a romantic date. I am looking forward to wearing this in spring/summer.

What a perfect summer fragrance. Bought a small bottle of this after smelling it in the store! It is lovely. On me, it is all peaches and lilac and sweetness. It lasts a few hours with 2-3 sprays, a heavier spraying is needed to smell it all day. It is so sweet, uplifting, and refreshing. I am all about this one, this summer.

I recently smelled Champs Elysees Edt again, several years after the first time. Just sprayed on my wrist, it was as if the first spring rays timidly warmed my skin. The air instantly smelled like mimosas. Beautiful! I can't add anything else, I think right now is a good time to have it for myself.

Just found a bottle that was manufactured in 1997. The scent whisked me back 20 years! (Ooooo I'm 20 years younger) I have a few vintage bottles of this, including the one purchased in 1997. It's all in how it's been stored, this one was perfect. Any comments about how the new formula compares?

❀ Champs Elysées reminds me of a ballet of flowers in early spring... Almond blossoms, lilacs climbing up on walls, tender mimosa buds all waft through the air, dancing beautifully like ballerinas! I sit on the soft grass, eating mellow fruits full of juice, breathing in deeply the spring air ❤

What I want more than anything is for Guerlain to bring back the old formulations of Champs-Élysées—all of them; honestly, it would be heaven on earth. As a collector who has smelled thousands of other perfumes (outside of my own vast collection), I can say this: there is nothing else like it.

Champs Elysees will always be my favorite. I own it and wear it continuously. I feel that the other scents I wear are just an in between Champs Elysees. Guerlain is special, in a class of its own. Champs Elysees is a classic feminine, light floral. The perfume is more fruity than the EDT.
