While there have been some variations year to year in Guerlain's Cherry Blossom, I've found the overall vibe/composition to have been pretty consistent (especially testing a 2022 Millesime + an older batch in the Louis/Apres L'Ondee flacon side by side). I feel like the main chord of this scent is a buttload of hedione, beta ionone (with its cherry/berry violet nuances) and then citrusey/tea materials (bergamot, and then the isolated components linalool and the more "tea"-like linalyl acetate) all wrapped up in a cloud of white musks. Of course there's more--some almondy nuances, a bit of the Guerlain-ish vanilla/coumarin and some more green floral notes like the lilac-leaning alpha terpineol--but the hedione/beta ionone/citrus/tea is what predominates. Lovely, light, and green in a way that skews it to be more universal than just femme. I'd be interested in a more "overtly Guerlain" variation of the theme with a more plush Guerlinade.

The flower was cheap and looks like something a child made in a crafting class. The smell is average and nothing interesting. So it's not for me and it's not targeting me.For the price, I'm not a customer of it either.

You can get Sakura by Dior, one of the best cherry blossom fragrances created, or spend 3× the money on some leather decorations 🤷🏼 (At least it's the prettiest one so far)

Got to smell it for the first time...very VERY green—does not evoke cherry blossom whatsoever!!
