Eau de Coton

If you are clean skinscent lover, this is the epitome of ethereal clean skin. The first time i smelled it, i immediately bought it.

This is so much more nuanced than I expected. It is fresh, lightly sweet with a slightly juicy neroli. The cotton note mixed with the neroli makes me feel like I'm wearing the prettiest white summer dress on the Amalfi coast, and there is a light breeze. The quality is quite good and the notes are perfectly balanced. I love it!

This could have been a major love for me. I adore all of the notes and love a clean skin scent. BUT this fails because of its poor performance. I literally doused my shirt and I can't smell it after literally 5 minutes. I spray my clothes and skin with 5 sprays on skin and 5 on clothes and the same thing. This is basically water that's been diluted with a drop of essential oil. What the heck, Guerlain! This is $235CAD for performance that is worse than a BBW fragrance mist. I wanted all of the ones in this line but after majorly overpaying for this one, it's a NO WAY for me. Hella disappointed in Guerlain. I basically paid for a pretty bottle, packaging and marketing. Swiss Arabian Musk 01 $80CAD and Prada Candy Kiss $100CAD are both similar in scent profile and are both way better. Heck, even Mont Blanc Signature for $50 is better than this.

It's a very strong opening blast of almond and orange blossom. within a minute, it's already evaporated into an extremely, extremely faint marshmallow musky skin scent, which lingers for a while. I'm actually surprised that most of the reviews say that it has a moderate sillage as that is not my experience at all. To me, this is more of something to spray right after you step out of the shower and then maybe you can put on your scent of the day later.

Fluffy cloud and clean laundry smell, actually quite citrusy and aldehydes in the opening then a musky marshmallow type dry down. Smells different on paper and skin so test this one on skin. This is not cloying or sweet, it's light and airy while having an effervescent sparkling quality to it and slight powderyness too
