Eau de Lingerie

This perfume smells like a doll’s head—in the best possible way. Soft, powdery, slightly sweet, and very cozy. It sits close to the skin, creating an intimate, feminine aura that feels clean, comforting, and quietly addictive. I blind bought this and eau de coton and this is my favorite of the two. I have yet to try the others.

I get an icy opening, reminiscent of 'final net' hairspray from the 80s, which quickly disperses -- leaving soft powder that settles into the white musc warmth. I like to put it on my nightie before bed. It has almost no longevity but is lovely while it lasts and is a nice 'vibe' to nod off to.

A blend between "lipsticky", soapy, and powdery iris which I should not like in theory - however this is so beautiful, soft, and delicate. The entire collection is just wonderful.

I like the notes in theory, but I can barely smell this. I don't like bombastic perfumes and I do appreciate a good skin-scent, but this sillage and longevity is not acceptable for the price this commands. Price aside, this is a buttery-soft, very "gauzy", translucent, powdery floral iris. Very pretty but needs to be about 3x stronger before you can call this an actual perfume. Ranking of this range for me: Eau de coton > eau de popeline > eau de lingerie > eau de cashmere > eau de tulle

This was much more noticeable to me than eau de cashmere, which completely vanished on my skin after application. This is definitely a skin scent and quite subtle. In my initial spray I was hit with a whisper of citrus, which isn’t listed in the notes here, but it was fleeting and gave way to what I assume is the ambrette and iris. Ambrette isn’t a note I’m super familiar with, but it definitely lends itself to the white musk base. I’d rate this a 2/5, just on the fact alone that I can at least smell it on me compared to eau de cashmere, but I am not wowed. It is a delicate musk with a hint of rose and powder. This could be a cute nighttime fragrance just before bed, and I could see this doing super well in a place like Japan, where subtle, clean and floral scents are widely appreciated. However, this is such a blurred, translucent fragrance that like in my other note, I can’t help but feel like “what exactly are you paying for?” More watered down musk. I hate giving poor reviews, but so far this line has been so underwhelming. I also want to add that this smells like... baby wipes or baby powder. Edit: as I analyse my notes and compare to the notes of Coton, I wonder if the sample I received is not for lingerie, but for Coton. Curious.

The opening is a rather soft musk. The hint of soft, sweet rose found in the previous fragrance, Eau de Lingerie (2013), is quite subdued here, with a tone that feels close to the skin right from the start. The top notes are almost transparent. You can sense a faint floral note, but the contours are blurred, giving the impression of being enveloped in a veil of musk. The gentle, sweet opulence one might imagine from the previous pink-coloured bottle is considerably muted. The heart notes flow seamlessly into the musky base. The sweetness of the rose and vanilla is quite subdued; they never take centre stage, remaining strictly in the background. Overall, it is dry and slightly powdery. The base is almost a skin scent. A musk with a hint of sweetness lingers faintly and quietly. If you are familiar with the slightly romantic sweetness and allure of the previous version, this feels rather minimal and somewhat lacking. The image in my mind remains, inevitably, that of the pink bottle.

I can hardly smell this to even get an impression of the fragrance and notes. And I like transparent, minimal scents. But I have no idea what this smells like.

I’m keeping the bottle because I love the way it looks, not the scent. It is a nice iris with lightness but longevity and silage is just horrible.

Smells so similar to Zou Zou minus the patchouli!!! This is intoxicatingly delicious!!!! Omg!!!! Just wish it was an EDP with longevity!! I am an iris hoe, so this is my jam. It smells incredible. Definitely FB worthy even if I have to spray it over and over all day. It's phenomenal. Cozy ambrette and iris. Yes please!!! This one is more noticable and bright than Eau De Cashmere, which was polite and too quiet, barely there. But Lingerie is noticeable. ✅
