Lime mojito with quality vetiver and woods. The lime is the best lime I've smelled in a perfume and isn't citrusy or sharp. This is smoothe and delicious without being a gourmand. This is fresh, subtle, and just one of THE best fresh summer scents I've ever smelled. This is a masterpiece in perfumery and one of the best values for your money. This will work in heavy heat as well. Something you'd be hard pressed to find in a perfume. This lasts a long time as well, on my skin in ridiculously hot southern heat it does at least 6 hours. In normal weather it does 8+. For a fresh citrus scent, this is incredible performance. I can't get over the lime note. It's so good. This is no child's play scent. This is a masterful concoction of sophistication, class, and professionalism in perfumery, as expected from Guerlain. You know that feeling when you first sniff a perfume and you start to smile because you know it's incredible? It's a rare feeling. Lots of scents are nice, but they don't drop your jaw or put a sheepish smile on your face like some scents do. You don't even have to wait for a drydown or anything to judge the scent. You know it's special. This was love at first sniff for me. It's now in my Top 5, also on first sniff. This is a bit of a linear scent. But I don't mind because the absolutely drop dead gorgeous smoothe lime stays for the entire ride, which I'd have no other way. I cannot stress enough how good this lime is. Do not make the mistake in thinking this is a sharp citrus note. This is an expertly blended lime and woods. This is such a green fragrance without the bitterness. Just the BEST green I've experienced since GIT by Creed. This is a more wearable Tere D'Hermes with lime instead of orange. A fraction of the cost without any decrease in quality. I dare say this might be the best fragrance to buy for the price from a western house, period. Try this as soon as possible. You owe it to yourself to experience this kind of sophistication and expert craftsmanship in perfumery. Incredible spring/summer scent that should be in everyone's arsenal. Literally my only complaint about this fragrance is the plastic cap instead of the vintage wooden cap, which far more fits this fragrances persona. EDIT: I'm testing this fragrance with another one, Ferrari Uomo, which I also reviewed. Guerlain on one hand, and Ferrari on the other hand. After spraying 2 sprays and waiting 2 hours, then reapplying with another 2 sprays, this has now hit the 12 hour mark of longevity on my skin and is now a faint skin scent. I'm sure the reapply after 2 hours helped make this happen. To be clear, this is 12 hours since reapplying. So 14 hours total on my skin, but technically 12 hours since I reapplied. I think the scent will be gone completely within the next hour. Fantastic longevity on this juice. This scent is worth every penny and more. Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisée was born in 2012 and became another flanker (if I'm not mistaken, the fourth) of the Guerlain Homme line. Coincidentally, while this version hit the shelves of the international market, here (Brazil) we were only talking about the original version, whose fragrance was launched in 2008 and had been conquering fragrance lovers with the note of vetiver. Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisée followed the success of the previous flanker – the L’Eau version – with an extra touch of woods in the drying. But it brought a lot of dissatisfaction to users of the latter, who preferred the acidic freshness and the touch of organic alcohol obtained from sugarcane to the detriment of the evolution of this version, which, for many, sounded like Guerlain's answer to the immense success that Terre d'Hermès perfume had been making, globally. The fragrance of Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisée was created, obviously, by the exclusive perfumer of the brand, Thierry Wasser, and brought starting notes of lime and mint, opening the way for a green and fresh body, whose result was obtained thanks to the note of a grass from Asia combined with geranium. Finally, the base gained voluminous notes of Indian vetiver and woody accord. Based on the combination of its notes, Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisée was classified as a woody-chypre and quickly became the best choice for many. On the skin, the fragrance opens in a citrus way, but without taking us to another time, in which citrus fruits were evident and full of a dated aspect. Here, more important than the opening or the dry down itself, it is in the center of the olfactory pyramid that we find the beating heart of this composition. Vetiver is actually evident, but it is far from being that usual earthy and woody ingredient. On the contrary, we are talking about another species, more ethereal and greener, and also more unusual. As a result, Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisée became more sophisticated and woodier, in addition to losing much of the alcohol content of the versions that preceded it. However, it remains a low-projection fragrance on my skin, although the durability has proven to be even longer than the original fragrance. Since 2016, Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisée has been sold within the brand's new visual standard (repackaging) and has also undergone changes in its formula, gaining more floral and minty facets. As for that story about Hermès' perfume, aside from the fact that there are oranges and grapefruits there, I prefer not to give an opinion, because I'm a big fan of Guerlain and it is older in the manufacture of fragrances.

Ok...let me start by saying this came in a package with Guerlain Homme Intense and The ONE EDP...And when I smelled this i completely ignored the other two and kept putting nose to wrist to experience this scent...At first I almost didn't like it and wanted to rationalize my purchase so I just kept smelling it trying to find redeeming qualities. It's like a person ur attracted to but cant stand at the same time...lol. Then the scent transitioned more and I was blown away at my first purchase of a MENS Guerlain...I've bought a few for the women in my life...But my first two Guerlain purchases for myself are both home-runs. I picked up the intense version to smell it and it's very good although a lot with A LOT LESS character and is far more mainstream which is cool for me when done right...And it is...(layering the two also smells great). But Boisee to me is a special scent. Since it's still cool in NYC I had to mimic conditions I'd wear this most by steaming my bathroom. The humidity and heat made this scent bloom. This will really shine in the warm weather... This frag is both vegetal and cakey at the same time to my nose...There are times when it reminds me of a french lime pastry or cake and I can almost smell a sweet vanilla in it...but then in a flash my mind transitions to vegetation and grass. Another scent which makes me feel like I wearing two scents in one in Shades Wood By Armaf or the Original Aramis Calligraphy. Because of its duel nature its one the scents I can't seee myself getting tired of wearing... It will last any where from 5-8 hours which for a summer scent with quality ingredients is better than the average summer frag...It projects very well but is not over done. I think it's more than worth the $36 it costs to buy this. The value of this is thru the roof compared to the price to own it. my personal style is very versatile and will wear this casually as well as dressed up and it would work well for me with jeans or slacks... Simply Put...This scent is one of the best classy summer fragrance at the price point one can get it... personal rating 10/10 unbiased rating 8/10 PS...i really don't get the Terre connections other than the formula of both being Citrus earthy green scents... This technically falls under the range of "cheapie". I got my 50ml for like $25 bucks. This is a STEAL for the money. What a great fragrance. As to expect with Guerlain, expect a nice natural smell. This is a big lime/vetiver mix. The opening blast of citrus is refreshing, while the vetiver and woods note give it a smoky and woody touch. It's an excellent fragrance for the warm weather and very easy to wear. This can definitely even be a signature scent, because it really just works in all situations. To me, oddly enough, this smells as if Guerlain did Aventus. I do not mean they copied Aventus, nor did they use the Aventus DNA. But if Aventus came out, but instead of Creed, Guerlain created it, then I feel that this is what it would smell like. Does that make sense? It has the fruity/citrus aspect of the lime, mixed with a smoky vetiver/woody smell. It 'does not smell like Aventus nor does it contain the DNA. It just kind of smells like Guerlain acknowledged Aventus and did their own thing with the fruity/smoky idea. This one is from 2012, so it's not that far fetched. Do not compare it to Aventus though. Just think of the "vibe". Fresh and smoky. This is a really, really good scent for the price. I feel it is not as well known as other masculine Guerlain fragrances. This is perfect for spring and summer. It provides a unique scent that can be a dumb reach, signature scent, or even dressed up for an evening out at a restaurant, sitting outside. You will always smell good and refined with this fragrance. It is difficult to dislike. Guerlain always provides a nice natural smell. This one is well blended. You have to like lime and vetiver, though. Otherwise don't bother lol. But this is an awesome fragrance, I really like it. Again, nothing too challenging or out of the box, this is a very good and versatile fragrance for young, middle-aged, or older men. It works for everyone. PS: You might get a slight "pencil shavings" smell, but trust me, this smells good in the air, especially in warm weather. One of the best tests of a fragrance for me is that step out into a warm day to test a warm frag. The heat on your skin lets it jump out at you quickly, and if there's a breeze, you'll get a waft. This one puts across a nice scent bubble. Trust.

I'm trying this out for the first time today alongside one or two other green, spring-friendly options. I really like it. I'm going to say I love it--even though I doubt I'll end up buying a big bottle of it, because I like some of my other green options about as much. That's perhaps to be expected; this probably isn't even aiming to be especially innovative. Still, I find it to be a very pleasing, fresh, green fragrance with--so far--the kind of fairly modest performance that one might generally expect of its kind. It's just a great spring/summer freshie of the more herbaceous persuasion. I can see why people talk about a mojito opening (a phrase I see quite often regarding summer-friendly scents such as this anyway) but that's not really how I experience it. The opening certainly doesn't make me think of spritzy mojitos or other zesty cocktails as much as some other summery, vetiver-forward fragrances from other houses (e.g. Dior and Issey Miyake) have. It doesn't especially smell minty to me either. I certainly couldn't pin the mint down to, say, spearmint or peppermint or to culinary use. After all, there are a number of green notes here and I think perhaps the fragrance is just too well blended for any one of them to slap me in the face. Also, the vetiver is clean and doesn't stand out with the kind of borderline-dirty presence that people on this site seem either to love or to hate. It just fits in very well with the other green notes. I can't say the rum is very noticeable to me. (That may be a good thing. If I'd wanted more of a boozy rum-based scent, I'd have opted for Guerlain Homme.) Mostly what I'm getting is a very agreeable, inoffensive, fresh, green scent with just enough depth behind the green to be interesting rather than seeming thin, super youthful and inadequate. It makes sense to me that this comes from Guerlain; if anybody can be relied on for a solid vetiver scent, it's Guerlain.

Wow...what a great fragrance. This is the first fragrance I have blind bought based on referrals and reviews here on Fragrantica, and I collectively thank you all for it. A massive home run. Basically the best mojito (lime, mint, rum) you have ever experienced with some green, vetiver, and woods to ground it. It doesn't smell alcoholic at all, and is very pleasant. Perfectly suited for the office...it exudes quiet confidence and class. Longevity and sillage are both good...quite good for a citrus EDT. I can get a full 8 hour workday and still smell it on my skin. I can see how some would compare this to Terre d'Hermes. I agree if you removed the flint and orange notes from Terre and added in a minty lime, you would come close to Eau Boisee. I have both the original squat bottle and the newer rectangular bottle, and there do seem to be a few differences. The woods seem stronger in the older original bottle whereas the lime and mint seem to last longer in the newer bottle. Both are amazing, and I could see myself using the newer bottle in the summer, and the older bottle in the winter. If Guerlain Homme is a metrosexual city-dwelling male artist, then Eau Boisee is his well-rounded brother that can class it up in the city, but can handle himself in the countryside too, and has seen the world. It inspires confidence at all levels without being overwhelming. If you love Terre d'Hermes (or TDH L'eau) and Guerlain Vetiver (or Homme), chances are you will love this one too. If you don't blind buy you should definitely get a sample or decant.

Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisée smells like a mojito served on a bed of vetiver sitting on a wooden table with a geranium centerpiece. What's not to like? Especially in hot weather. Projection is moderate at most. Longevity is surprisingly good given the scent profile. The scent is fairly linear. A touch of musk creeps in at the later stage of the dry down, but it is clean and faint. There's nothing animalic here that I can smell. It is an enjoyable and easy to wear fragrance with quality ingredients and blending. This fragrance is much better than you'd expect given the low prices for which you'll find it if you shop around. The current Guerlain presentation, which is not pictured above, is simple and classy with a nice wood cap and good atomizer. This sort of dry vetiver and woods scent is often seen as masculine, but I can see no reason female vetiver fans would not enjoy this fragrance. I enjoy this fragrance in warmer weather where the mojito opening that is integral to the DNA of the entire Guerlain Homme line, really shines. It is easy to dismiss this fragrance as nothing more than a "dumb reach fresh woody scent," but there is more here than meets the nose at first sniff. There is a simple, understated elegance to Homme L'Eau Boisée that becomes apparent with repeated wearings. This fragrance is suitable for the vast majority of folks in nearly all situations. Everyone needs at least one super versatile scent in their fragrance wardrobe and this one is among the best. Recommended.

Guerlain’s Homme line is highly underrated in my eyes. It sits somewhere between the modern hype of L’Homme Ideal and the cult classics of Shalimar and Derby. While this may not be quite be the masterpiece that Derby is, I believe it exudes a similar level of confidence and class. Homme L’eau Boisée fell into my lap when combing through discounter websites, searching for a bottle of the modern EDP. The modern EDP was one of the early pickups of my fragrance journey, an introduction to vetiver- which became one of my favorite notes. After some time, I sold my EDP bottle when going through a mass clearing of my collection. A year after selling it, I found a travel atomizer decanted from that bottle, wore it again, and fell back in love with the DNA. Which brought me to finding a bottle of L’eau Boisée. Guerlain Homme LB is a tad more earthy and dry than the EDP. LB is sharp, while the EDP is more rounded with its florals and mint. That earthy touch in LB just does it for me. It edges this one out between the two. Unless you love this DNA- the way I do- having the EDP and L’eau Boisée would probably just be redundant. L’eau Boisée sticks with me all day. Perfect for almost any daytime occasion. It was my summer signature for 2024. Damnit, I am going to miss the way this moves in the warm air of a summer day. This is one that gives me that inexplicable feeling of class and confidence. It enhances the day you wear it. It makes me smile throughout the day. This is a 10 out of 10 for me.

Terre de Guerlain (Thierry Wasser, 2012) Scentrack: Tina Turner – Look Me In The Heart In 2012 in Florence I tried L’Eau Boisee for the first time, and I was not impressed at all. It seemed like a less lucid and more mainstream version of the original. A Guerlain’s take on highly successful Ellena’s Terre d’Hermes theme. In my opinion, all the uplifting playfulness was gone to make a room for dry and serious vetiver overload. However, as time goes by, I started to appreciate L’Eau Boisee version more and more. The composition possesses several layers, and one has to be very patient to reveal the subtle crisp beauty. This flanker opened up with already known juicy lime, and a modest kick of mint. The mojito accord is present but toned down. There is a touch of fresh grass incorporated, which I really like. In this version vetiver is the main player. Clean, well-groomed, and with a smoky touch. The geranium in the heart gives a classic vibe of traditional French perfumery. The beautiful rum note of the original is subtle and paired with a fresh, woody note that reminds me of Virginian cedar. The composition is well harmonized, and although reminiscent of Terre d’Hermes, is still playful. Thus, this is not a strict office choice, yet suitable for sport or even casual occasions throughout the year. Guerlain Homme L’Eau Boisee is a jack of all trades which is the biggest value of this composition. Some kind of classy workhorse, if possible. Rating: 8/10 Scentimentalwords

Some say this one smells like mojito; I feel it's more akin to a very dry gin&tonic, and Guerlain Homme L'Eau Boisée opens with abundance of green lime, super zesty and refreshing, almost invigorating. I'm gonna put in the fridge and try it chilled next time :D It becomes quite quickly very dry (this facet may remind you of gin), with the distinct vetiver Guerlain accord showing up quite quickly and reinforcing the green tone of the opening. The cedar base shows up pretty quickly, and gives some weight to the citrus opening, although it remains quite airy and tends to fluctuates around you as you move. This a super elegant masculine scent for late spring, early summer, early autumn scent, works wonders in the office or a for stroll in a white polo shirt and shorts at the seaside before/after the peak of the summer. I think it works better in mild, temperate climate, rather than very humid tropical/subtropical weather, as you wouldn't want sweat to mix and ruin the delicate balance of the scent and make the vetiver dirty. Longevity is not great but that's kinda expected for a citrus-forward fragrance (I usually clock in around 4/5 hours, with half of that as a skin scent) though it projects decently for the first hour or so. My bottle is the tall one (a design I've never loved at Guerlain), with batch code 9K01 from October 2019. Strong love, pity it has been discontinued.

L'Eau Boisée is another twist of the house Guerlain trying voluptuous scent of vetiver with rum and grass. This now, design and more modern structure that mythical vetiver house, but always with that air of timeless quality that characterizes the maison. The mixture part very fresh, lime, mint and grass, with a bright, sparkling, green feeling. The elegance of the note of geranium opens the doors to woody notes with vetiver to the head, notes that increasingly value more since I became with Geranium Pour Monsieur Malle is one of the most elegant and masculine floral notes there , vetiver feels here as the protagonist, but in a very well-balanced mixture with no other note crush the rest, also somewhat contained. Here rum brings a particularly sweet spot and creates the ideal aura for the vetiver develops with the smoothness and freshness that should be rhythmically mixed with a hint of musk that makes L'Eau Boisée in a fascinating and original mixture a different vetiver, not earthy or smoky, rather fresh and as freshly cut, along with excellent quality and great for daytime use. The duration is very good, qualities too, but lacks a little wake to be outstanding. From L'Homme collection, for my taste, this is the best flanker. Rating: 7

I like the original L Homme de Guerlain, but with L Homme L Eau Boisee it veers into the love category. This particular flanker is all that and then some. Yes, Smelling like a mojito is great and works well at parties or casual fridays, but the reinvention of this scent as a spring fling is even better! The addition of the grass note and and the removal of the mojito accord and addition of the musk propel this scent into new territories. The sly greenness of this scent is perfectly executed. It is not a citrus, vetiver and grass punch but rather this lovely interwoven citrus and green freshness. The geranium, cedar, rum and musk act as a lovely base to this scent adding a nice level of richness and class to the original freshness of this scent. Guerlain maintains its' classiness and attention to quality as usual on this one. The fragrance is linear and it is just fine. This scent should be worn especially on those mondays when you just came back from work and had a weekend or holiday that was spent either in the forest or on the beach. We all need reminders of fun and greenery when returning back to the grind. To put it simply... L' Homme de Guerlain L' eau Boisee smells like a reminder of time well spent.

I really like the woody green base here, some of which has been caused by vetiver. On one hand it even felt like pure wood only, something very simple. So simple that if wherever in any shop there is a scent named Wood then it should be exactly this. On the other hand, it looks like getting the real thing also costs a bit more and there has to be something like Guerlain to really offer it to those who want. By notes there is rum, musk, mint? I don't really know how the geranium smells (and besides, which one out of the hundreds of those) so I can't judge that one but where are these other three? Somewhere in the very first or up to four deciminutes (24s)? The notes' list seems to be misleading, unless my nose tricks me or the original sample tester was too old or something else, because I can't imagine I could enjoy a scent if it has a distinctive rum or mint note in it, and I have smelt the rum in the past so I know the smell. But what I did get from this sample was something much woodier than even the lovely Terre d'Hermès is (I only compare the wood part here, they are otherwise not much comparable, both are masterpieces of their own).

This has been un-discontinued! Found one today, newly designed bottle like the Vetiver one, so must be... plus this, with the new design is listed on the G website. Made myself a promise back in the day, that if I found any of these three green versions previously in square Pininfarina flasks, that I'd buy one straight away, so I did. Even better, as I was in the hunt for a cooler weather (incl. fall or spring or even Nordic summer) sober gentleman's scent, that could enter a meeting room if necessary, this was just a perfect find... 4.5 out of 5 like stated above. If you're like me on who's skin turns the perfume towards the sweet instead of neutral or sour, and if a pure citrus scent (which I love) is just too summery right now, find this. It keeps projecting longer than expected and keeps its citrus and mint as well. Dry, sober, woodsy, vetivery, gentlemanly, but also really positive and energetic. Edit: maybe the 'mint' is something more cooling like menthol, or peppermint. So zesty citruses, cool menthol/peppermint, recently chopped young wood, and fresh greens. This one has grown on me and sits on the favourites pedestal.

This bottle was a blind buy. Opens with a strong blast of sour lime. The mint is there but it's very, very subtle. The dry is down is pleasant but quite dry--there is some vetiver and woods but the rum note I was expecting to be a bit sweeter. The florals and greens come forward a bit as it ages as well. It reminds me of Terre d'Hermes but more limey and less orange/mineral. This is a very bright fragrance, almost too much so. It is not unpleasant for me, but I was expecting a signature Guerlain concoction which features sweetness to balance the citrus and woods (Guerlain Vetiver comes to mind). This is still a great summer fragrance as it is very refreshing. Update: I realize as per @KopaneDePooj's comment above, I did in fact confuse the two fragrances. I bought a bottle of Homme EDP after realizing this. The good news is that Guerlain Homme EDP is a little on the sweet side for me and layering it with L'eau Boisee seems to bring some citrus and woods to that sweetness.

I just got an old bottle of this (2015 batch) for 50$. Amazing price for such a classy,refined and natural composition. It s in the same league with expensive niche fragrances,Guerlain showing once again how overpriced most of them are. The opening is a very strong,mouthwatering lime note,similar to the lime top note in Creed VIW. After 5-10 mins a very green and a little smoky but not dirty vetiver becomes the dominant note giving it a more mature,vintage feel. As time goes on the vetiver stops being so dominant and gives space to a wonderful base,almost identical to the one in Homme L’eau. I think it’s based on iso e super+hedione and geranium. Woody,airy,minty,a bit flowery and sweet with a little hint of rum. Not similar to TDH at all. I prefer the original l’eau just a bit over this because the vetiver is toned down,making it more youthful and refreshing, unfortunately it s available only for crazy high prices so I’m happy sticking with l’eau boisee.

This does not smell anything like "Encre Noire" and is much better for my taste. It is a simply sensational perfume. Incredibly well balanced with delicious citrus notes that are becoming more "green" and woody, with a background of vetiver. I really do not like too vetiver, when it is too dark or earthy, but this is so well blended with other notes, I find exquisite. All this with an unusual feeling these days, naturalness and class. It is, though perhaps better for spring-summer and probably not suitable for younger very classic and quite timeless perfume. Perhaps as a paste, the trail seemed to me something discreet. However, please note that I'm testing on a cold and rainy ... :( Surely in summer proves better in that aspect. Longevity is good (over 6-7 hours) with moderate-soft sillage. There are very few "designer" that end up in my small collection, but I fear that this will be one of them. Very good !!!

This is a nice citrus/vetiver fragrance. It has a touch of the original Guerlain vetiver dry clean grassiness. It starts with a similar nicely bitter lime note on top which smoothly transitions into the natural vetiver. Even though this is a citrus heavy scent it is very smooth. It gets an extra bit of freshness from a noticeable natural non-mentholated mint note that compliments the green notes. It lasts quite a while as well. This is not a sillage monster at all but manages to leave a subtle scent trail when you move about. It is a soft, calm vetiver. Natural, dry green and slightly woody and lightly peppered to the end. Bright summer/spring fragrance. EDIT : This has become, easily, hands down, my go to green and light Vetiver fragrance. It wears like a nice white dress shirt - not center stage and not out of place - just comfortable. Great vetiver fragrance.

Delicious summer green frag. Picture an 40+ successful man that you don't expect to be 40+; Refined, trendy but not trying to be cool, and very upscale. Dude probably drives a convertible, but doesn't like to be loud or a showoff. This is what he would wear during summer. The lime is very strong in the opening and it's amazing, mixing with the mint and woods throughout the whole duration. Its refreshing as a freshie can be and actually makes you feel fresh and clean in a "wet" way. Definetly suited for those high temperature days, or maybe after you come back from the beach and wanna chill at the sky bar in 5 star hotel you're staying overlooking the sea and the beach. Guerlain hardly disappoints me. Quality is here, and lasts quite a bit for a freshie, 6 hours in and i can still catch whiffs of it. Can't go wrong with this one for the summer.

Updated review: This one has entered almost daily use for me. Initially I was put off by the dryness of it, but I've found that as the weather has cooled, the citrusy "screetch" has been replaced by aromatic woods. It's fresh and perfect for autumn! My favorite thing about this fragrance is its versatility. It is interesting enough to wear by itself, but I also enjoy layering it with other fragrances. I layers very well with Guerlain Vetiver to add extra brightness and dimension to the spices of Vetiver. It's become a fun experiment to me to see how well it can blend with sweeter fragrances. Curiously, when sprayed over Shalimar EDP, it smells somewhat more like Habit Rouge EDP. I don't usually spray fragrances on clothes, but I do like this one sprayed on a light jacket. I get compliments a lot, as it doesn't smell generic or synthetic.

Belki ilk çıktığı zaman bir yenilik farklılık yaratmış olabilir ama bugün için oldukça sıradan bir profil var karşımızda. Bu önemli markanın giderek zayıfladığını düşünüyorum. Şişelerin değişmesi, etiketlerin yenilenmesi işe yaramıyor. Eski, parfüm tutkunları zaten cezayı kesecektir. Yeni gençler için ise bu parfüm birşey ifade etmez. Belki benim aldığım şişe kötüdür dedim ve başka yerlerde tekrar denedim. Sonuç değişmedi. Bu kadar çabuk uçup giden koku güzel olsa ne olacak. Parfümü değerlendirmek için bile zaman kalmıyor.

A delicious, zesty, juice-fest with minty geranium. I have the Homme EDP, which is also wonderful, and as others have said, this has the same elements but in a totally contrasting olfactive presentation. The lime is BAM in your face, and makes me want to drink fresh lime juice. The notes that follow develop wonderfully into the dry down. Guerlain always manage to create something unique yet classic and timeless seeming, that makes me go aha yes! This is no exception. Update: I've had this a couple of years now, and the woods have become dominant. There's a suggestion of many different wood notes without any one type standing out, which I love about it. It's like standing in a woodwork shop or a very posh soap shop where everything is nestled in wood shavings in baskets. It feels piney due to the minty geranium. Love it.

This has "Summer" written all over it. Fresh, citrus, clean, light woods, touch of aquatic, green and just pure class. Reminds me of a fresher Terre d'Hermes as others have indicated. It's suitable for virtually any occasion whether the office, suit/formal, semi-casual, summer wedding, lunch meetings, etc. It's definitely more of a daytime fragrance but can work at night easily. Ideally for the warmer months. I can see a guy rocking this on an evening date with the wife/girlfriend at a nice restaurant. Unquestionably, when somebody smells this on you most of them will find it to be a high quality scent. If you want to project class this summer on a date or evening out looking for single ladies -- L'Eau Boise will get you noticed in a good way. 2 to 3 sprays is all you need with this beauty on chest and/or neck.

I must admit that L'Eau Boisée was not love at first sniff, but after spending a considerable amount of time with it, I now can't see myself without it. The lime note in the opening is so authentic and refreshing. I get all the other main notes(vetiver, woodsy notes, grass) with a slight hint of sweetness, which is hardly detectable, in the deep drydown. Probably the rum note. The end result is a very dry, smoky concoction. I love the fact that the Guerlain Homme line is different to all the other popular offerings on the shelves today. No "blue" fragrances here, but just as versatile. Classy, laid back. A worthy signature scent for the warmer weather, or in fact, all year round. I have to agree with Chad from AGentlemansJourney on this one. Five stars indeed. Underated niche like composition, this one.

It is a remarkable achievement for Guerlain who have created several classy men's cologne's. I considered Vetiver a MASTERPIECE, right up with it now is L'Eau Boiseé Pour Homme. When I first sprayed it on my skin, there is a rush of lime/woodsy aroma mixed with vetiver that gives it depth. After a while I'm able to smell just a hint of mint with a good base of musk which brings it together to make it an excellent masculine cologne. What I really enjoy is the citrus green notes which gives it a clean aroma. The woodsy,earthy and spicy notes give it longevity well over 7 hours. I can say that this cologne stands out from a lot of the other main stream products. I love wearing L'Eau Boiseé during the spring/summer time. I give this cologne two thumbs up...10/10.

A woman could easily wear this on a warm day. It's very fresh, zingy and juicy. I wish though that I had been able to sniff the first formulation. That one sounds amazing. This is all lime, vetiver and wood notes at the start. It's pretty weak. I can see now why it's a cheapy. Once settled then you start to pick out the herbal notes. It's a shame the mint and lime disappear so quickly as they are my favourite notes in this but that's their nature. The dry down is more about the zingy geranium, Vetiver and wood notes. I can sort of make out the rum but it's very low key on me. For a cheapy it smells very good and not cheap at all. You would have to use like a body spray though to make much impact.

Wow, just got this today and it's fantastic! I get the comparisons with TDH which I like but won't buy purely cos it's a colleague's signature. This is out of this world. It's like a cocktail made with Paco Rabbane Eau (fantastic but very hard to find now), TDH, Guerlain Homme with a bit of Guerlain Vetiver thrown in for good measure. Think I've just found my new signature !!!! Just updating this review 2 days later, this is the Holy Grail for me. It has it all, freshness, depth, booziness, out of the shower clean, lazy Summer day casual or formal sophistication.......Love it and think it could work in just about any situation, so its versatile as well....... Brilliant!

lime in the opening within minutes mixes with grass and hints of woods.actually smells a little salty as the very gentle musk pushes out a soft vetiver as it settles.this vetiver is not like guerlain vetiver type.something flowery and girly emerges also but the vetiver dont let her rule entirely,not like a wife beater though.this reminded me a little of jako by lagerfeld because it is very gentle in all the notes.dont smell the rum yet an hour into this but i think geranium is here to stay.i dont know but i think this could be worn by women too.you know what?i just resprayed and i actually got a tiny amount of tobacco like in guerlain vetiver.i really like this now!

A very good chypre and quite original, too. Having loved the GH and GH Intense, I must say this is quite different, but I love it even more! Even though it lacks the latter's sillage and sits closer to the skin. Maybe the listed notes are similar, especially in the opening, but the accents are put very differently. Here the lime is dominant and the mint becomes its shy companion. In the drydown the rum is not as distinguishable to my nose as in some other rumy fragrances, but there is certainly some vetiver and the woody note that is unusually cheerful, probably due to other elements in the composition which I am unable to name.

Very light Lime-Vetiver. Beautiful, fresh scent with a touch of mint. Fell totally in love with it right away, so you can just imagine my surprise when the wife quipped I smelled like toothpaste. Arggh. This is the 2nd best fresh vetiver scent I've tried (behind only TF Grey Vetiver), and one of the best Guerlain offerings. Lasts well enough with 4 hours but radiates well only for about 20 minutes. Completely a skin scent in half an hour, at least on me. Decent longevity, but sillage is disappointing. I'd buy a full bottle if it weren't so. I guess sniffing my wrists greedily until this trial decant runs out will have to do.

When I first sprayed this on I smelled Flintstones Fruity Pebbles... I laughed. Has a scent ever made you laugh. That was a first to me. I let it calm down. In that few seconds this scent grew up. It matured. It’s like witnessing 21 years of life on my skin from eating a bowl of children’s cereal to drinking a cold crisp rummy mojito with mint leaves and a juicy lime wedge. I. Love. This. Stuff. Great work scent and the ideal casual scent. Everybody else just gets the fresh mint and lime but only I’m privileged to smell like vacation. Lasts for probably 3/4 of work time thats 6 hours roughly. 8/10

PDM Greenley, The Green Valentino frags, Coach Green, they all think they are green and the masses agree. But when I think of green I think of this. The lime here is ultra realistic but it's got a fancy freshness to it. The musk is not overbearing but this has some weight to it. My bottle is from 2019 and it lasts a good 6-7 hours on clothes even more. This is very unique, nothing smells like it. This isn't a sweet green candy or nothing about it evokes a forest, this literally smells like money. It's classy. My summers are too hot and humid so I have to rock this during Fall or Spring

This one is a beauty and I'll never understand why it was discontinued. I bought 4 bottles of it in early 2012, right after it was released, have gone through one, am keeping one, but am willing to find homes for the other two. It has aged beautifully. I've concluded there's no need for me to just sit on them with everything else I've accumulated. Batch code is 1Y01 (the original 1Y01, not the clear-capped version produced 10 years later.) Just reach out if interested. Don't expect a bargain though . . . this is the first release and the bottles are BNIB and still sealed in cellophane.

Beautiful fragrance. This is so fresh and sparkly. This one is my formal 'dumb reach' for hot summer days, where Mercedez Benz Cologne is my casual 'dumb reach' for the hottest of summer days. Unfortunately I am unable to smell the fragrance after about an hour. But I am 100% sure it lasts a good while. I get nose-blind to all of my citrus-heavy fragrances, after about an hour. l'Eau Boisée smells like the mature, well-dressed brother of l'Homme. Scent: 9/10 Projection: 7/10 Sillage: 7/10 Longevity: 8/10 Versatility 8/10 Uniqueness: 7/10 Price-performance: 7/10 Total: 8/10

I have just heard that, apparently, this is going to be discontinued. I hope this is not true, but previous experiences have shown otherwise. I will probably return and write more. Suffice it to say, this is my first Guerlain, and my favourite Guerlain as well, although I have many of their creations. I find it beyond compare, especially for hot climates, with its mysteriously fresh blend of scents, fresh and lightly spicy. Elegant and casual, or rather elegantly casual, I believe it is simply perfect! Enjoy it while you can still hopefully find it...

Boisee is a special fragrance. The top lime note in this is just amazing. It mixes so well with the vetiver and grass notes to form a delightful combination of freshness and herbal woodiness. The rum note is discreet, only a hint, but adds depth and character to the whole. My initial reaction wouldn’t be to call this a summer fragrance due to its depth and smokiness, but it could easily be worn to a well-dressed summer evening affair. At its heart, Boisee is vernal masculine sophistication in an attractive glass flacon.

work heaven in a bottle, also take it with you on holidays, you will have a massive dent in the bottle. great mojito green accord with lime and mint, goes to woody vetiver drydown with mild sweetness.lingers around for 5 to 6 hours in summer, 7 to 8 in spring. if you love tdh, encre noire sport or mugler cologne style fragrances, definitely a must try, lil over 25 years old will appreciate this gem with black pants and white shirt. makes a sophisticated gym scent like dior homme sport.sheer class 9/10

Nice masculine summer fragrance for a gentleman. Smells like an upscale barbershop with it's soapy citrusy composition. Too masculine for my feminine wife to wear according to her and I agree. Perfect for the office in a suit, more formal than casual, but really suitable for any occasion. Wear this on a date with your special lady and you'll smell like pure class. I dislike unisex fragrances and only wear fragrances clearly made for more masculine men and Boisee does not disappoint.

I bought 1/3 of the bottle around 3 years ago and was just seating on my shelf until i decided to use it for work, just one world perfect for me. If you are 27+, if you hold a leadership position, if you are a teacher, leave your channels and diors for after work, this is not a crowd pleaser as the laters, but this smell different, responsible, it last at me 6 hours min, with moderate projection which is perfect for work environment, with price is unbeatable.

@otteromkram He’s referring to Dior Homme 2020 which has a slight resemblance to this because of the heavy use of Iso E Super in both of them. However L’eau boisee is much more complex,natural smelling and develops a lot more from start to finish. DH 2020 is just a fragrance base after the initial bergamote blast goes away. In L’eau boisee the tart lime is mouthwatering,the minty geranium is icy and floral,vetiver is smoky etc..

Smells so classy and elegant. A beautiful fresh lime opening with a hint of mint. This settles into a more grassy tone and then you get the fresh Woody drydown. Everything about this fragrance is perfectly crafted, it's so well balanced. As others have said this is such an uplifting fragrance. Also very good value. I haven't yet tried this on a hot day, or summers evening but I think k it will really shine here.

I like this one. I didnt at first because its different than what you get in the stores. It smelt like celery. But that goes to show Im a novice in perfumery and alot to still experience. This salty green fragrance works really well here. I am wearing it now on a first date in the Minnesota cold. Yes this is the one that got the call. Fresh, earthy, smooth, linear, different. Unexpected Winner.

trust guerlain to do vetiver really well. I have this on one hand and the original lhomme on the other. the original is noticeably sweeter. LB has a very sharp, clean woody smell almost has the same affect as pine. Ideal imo for very hot weather. It also feels like its projecting better and will last longer. For the price this is a very good purchase and I will shortly add it to my collection.

Very fresh lime/vetiver summer scent where you can literally douse yourself with 20 to 30 sprays without choking anybody out, spray it on your body, your clothes, your shoes, and everywhere else for complete coverage from head to toe. It's quite cheap at discounter so you can go very heavy on the trigger without fear. Safe blind buy, decent longevity.

One of the few discontinued fragrances I truly mourn the loss of. There is nothing as dry, yet juicy... bright, yet deep, as this fragrance. The summer scent of a gentleman. Contrary to some other reviews, there is no substitute or similar profile to this scent. It is unique. Guerlain, you can have my vetiver extreme, just give me back L'Eau Boisee.

There is a HUGE difference between the Wood Capped bottles and the ones with plastic caps. The vetiver and rum come out in the opening at once and it's really powerful, giving off an amazing spicy scent while the clear-topped one doesn't and is much weaker. Be careful about this, the reformulation can't even compare to the old one.

Dry yet juicy, light and airy yet utterly well put together, mature yet never stuffy, and unmistakably Guerlain. This is one of the classiest high-heat fragrances I've ever smelled, and I'm sincerely hoping Guerlain do one of their fragrance resurrections on this one as it's a travesty to lose it in a sea of the generic.

Lime and Vetiver... what more can one say?! A gentelman's scent, definitely on the mature side, not a teenager's scent... There is lurking bitterness that gives the scent depth and presence, if you love Terre d'Hermes you will love this one, only this one has Lime instead of the bitter orange, great scent...

It is a nice scent , Elegant , Fresh , Green and Woody. It smells so good and very pleasant. It opens up with like bitter lime and green notes in the background then dry down is green woody. This perfume is perfect for the spring and summer. I really enjoy it and I love it. Two Thumbs Up. Rating : 8.5 / 10
