Guerlain Homme

I don't understand the reviews which classify this as "generic" or "synthetic" or "poor quality." It's not any of those. Guerlain Homme is a completely modern fragrance with a fantastic mojito note in the opening--fresh lime, mint, and rum immediately deliver a fun, upbeat attitude that simply feels good. The opening accord is superb and one that I have not encountered in any other fragrance to date. Not only is it well executed (clean, smooth, and balanced), but it feels NEW. And I think that's the problem many Guerlain traditionalists have with this fragrance--it's a departure from their classic men's lineup of Heritage, Habit Rouge, and Vetiver. Well...get over it. I think Guerlain Homme was very intelligently crafted, i.e., it fits right in with the modern mainstream men's market while remaining distinct and altogether different from anything else that's out there. Nothing smells like this. And furthermore, Homme smells better than 95% of its contemporary competition. I had heard terrible things about it until I actually tried it myself while in a local Sephora. I was expecting it to be bad (bland and redundant), but instead I liked it immediately and bought it on the spot. This was after sampling numerous 'modern' men's fragrances beforehand, so I can honestly say that this stood out from the crowd and also head and shoulders above it. Around the two or three hour mark, Guerlain Homme transitions into a pleasant, woody base with a light, white musk as traces of its opening accord occasionally waft in and out. The sillage of this fragrance is fine, in fact its quite good, and the longevity is actually better than you may initially perceive it to be. Just like its flanker, Homme L'Eau, this is one that other people notice much later on in the day while you have all but forgotten it's even there. So I would say the projection is good and the longevity just above average. Best in the Spring and Summer, Guerlain Homme is well-suited for work and socializing outside of work. It's an easy wear that leans toward the casual, carefree side of the spectrum. It feels like a day time scent, but wouldn't be out of place at night. I highly recommend Guerlain Homme to anyone looking for something unique and uplifting with a cool, modern edge. As a side note, the Intense version differs in several ways: It features a strong rhubarb note, which gives it more of a dark, fruity quality. The mojito note is not as strong either. Also, Intense lasts much longer, but projects less. So, increased longevity but decreased sillage. Finally, the Intense version is darker and richer, while Guerlain Homme regular is brighter with greater diffusive properties The other flanker to Guerlain Homme, Guerlain Homme L'Eau, has much more citrus to it (smells like lemon and lime to me), and is fairly different than Homme. It's an EXCELLENT summer fragrance, possibly my favorite, and is definitely worth looking at.

I'm going to edit this review because I've been learning more in my journey. I've finally been exposed to quite a few Dior's and Guerlain's. Frankly, even though I've been a collector some time, since I didn't own but maybe Fahrenheit, and only had Guerlain's Vetiver, I just knew that Dior and Guerlain seemed to be unique and good, but after getting 3-4 bottles from the Dior Homme line-up, and getting this and its intense and Bois brothers and LIDGE, I now can say my opinions regarding this fragrance has evolved. So, Guerlain and Dior are in a class of their own for the designer game. These fragrances are works of art and are made up of ingredients that outshine other Designer houses. You can only tell this when you wear a lot of different one's. There's just something uniquely Guerlain. Call it quality of ingredients, I don't know, but there's a way that their fragrances wear on your skin. It's like they all smell different, but they aerate the same way. If you only have one of their fragrances it's not as obvious, but if you wear a bunch of them and other fragrances by different houses, you start to notice this quality is really shared amongst the Guerlain's and is non-existent in fragrances from other Houses. Now, people seem to be marking this one as a generic type smell and they just seem miffed that Guerlain made something this mass market friendly. Let me tell you, it doesn't smell like anything else I have. It's not an obvious competitor to Bleu De Chanel, Sauvage, or ADG Profumo, which are obviously made to battle it out against each other for our bucks. This one, they say has this mojito vibe. I've never had one, so can't compare. This fragrance is slightly sugary, only slightly, and has some fruit type masculine smell. In a way, it kind of reminds me of what the Pineapple accomplishes in Aventus. Nice fruity fresh, but maybe just a hint of Vetiver or something to keep it masculine. This is the perfect fragrance for me, most of the time. Definitely, the highest of quality from a designer house. It has that Guerlain aeration quality that all the Guerlains have, except in a fresher type fragrance. While others are saying "no", to Guerlain making something this mass market friendly, I'm saying "Boh Hell Yeah, Guerlain's making something mass market friendly!" And, that brings Guerlain quality to something amazingly wearable. There's nothing un-unique about it. I don't have anything that smells like it. It's a unique take on a fresher fragrance, no doubt. I wear this to the office, I wear it at home, I wear it anywhere and it fits. This is probably the closest thing I have to a signature scent because I just want to wear it all the time. My favorite in the game right now and for the past few months.

It looks a lot better... and @neo_xx Guerlain Homme is my signature scent... and I tell you why... The citrus of this Edt is very special... it is inspired by the drink mojito... Sylvaine Delacourte was travelling in Cuba and fell in love for the drink scent... Mojito is made of rum, sugar, mint and lime... Back to France she told her experience to Wasser. He thought it would be interesting to use those scents in the fragrance he was developing... It happened to be his first fragrance on Guerlain house... He was the pupil of Jean Paul Guerlain, who was responsible for TRUE MASTERPIECES in perfumery like Habit Rouge, Vetiver, Samsara, Chamade and Eau de Guerlain... Guerlain is known for using ONLY the best materials... It is known as the being the creator of the first modern perfume using synthetics: Jicky... It developed the first lip stick. Guerlain has a great past... and Jean Paul Guerlain was teaching Thierry Wasser to be his successor as the Guerlain Perfumer. Wasser then decided to pay homenage to Vetiver (his master's first fragrance) and added vetiver roots and rhubarb in the base notes... and that's Guerlain Homme a link between the glorious past of this house and his promising future... a symbol of a new Guerlain A wild & refined man A young dreamer with a glorious past A sweet & citrusy scent A fresh & glamourous fragrance all inside of a unique scent... My bottle is getting empty... I was looking for new fresh scent and went to a Sephora store... I smelled almost all the male scents... none of them are so beautiful like this... It is inspired by mojito but it has a balanced sugar, mint, lime with a green tea and vetiver tones... Yohji homme naturally is not the same thing as Guerlain Homme cause the first includes coffee, licorice and anise tones... and GH does't... Guerlain Homme includes a amazing vetiver, a controlled rum, a delicious sugary citrous very well balanced, a fresh and elegant rhubarb scent, the history of the Guerlain maison as background and Yohji homme doesn't. 10/10

@neo_xx Yesterday I was testing the Longevity and the Sillage of Guerlain Homme... I bought it 3 years ago... I keep it inside of its box away from the light and heat, although I live in Brazil and the temperature here easily reaches 100oF Yesterday the temperature here in Sao Paulo was 77oF at the night and 93oF at afternoon... I was not sweaty and I applied it on the bend of my left elbow I sprayed it at 3:00 PM and the sillage reached at least 6 feet... its duration was about 2 hours... after that the sillage reached the length of a arm... 2 hours later and it sat on close to my skin without a trail... Then, it weirdly reached about 20 hours closed to my skin... from 3:00 PM until 11:00 AM of the next day... I understand its sillage is not extraordinary but this perfume evolutes very beautifully on my skin. In the first half of hour it started the Mojito accord, a very strong rum, mixed with lime and mint. Next it became more tart with the rhubarb and vetiver more evident... in the next 30 minutes, the run and lime tone decreased... and a more sugary note showed up... As it reached 2 hours on my skin the sillage falls down about the size of a arm. Then I can identify another change in the scent, and that is my favorite: Vetiver, run and rhubarb decreases... sugary notes increase until mint and lime levels... it is simply delicious! More two hours and the scent changes again... Vetiver comes back as sugar gets smaller... and the it leads to a end leaving a vetiver/lime trace (reminding 1959's Vetiver)... Don't listen to haters! It is the best fresh fragrance you can buy. Most of summer colognes are made of cheep materials. NOT THIS! A chic summer scent...not mainstream at all... Guerlain pushing the envelope once again... That's why it is the best! And it still has the seal Guerlain of high quality. Traditional without being boring, modern without being cheep.

Guerlain Homme is a super underrated fragrance and it deserves more love. It is a timeless classic, but it what I love about it is just the fact that it is a unique fragrance that is versatile, smells awesome, and has a decent performance for a freshie like this one. Just like what you have read hundreds of times before, Guerlain Homme is a refreshing mojito in a bottle. It is a summer and spring fragrance that smells minty, kinda boozy, fresh, citrusy, spicy, earthy, and just a tad woody. It is not as spicy as the Intense flanker, but the spiciness is still there. It is an incredible blend, honestly. Despite going in a different route, I found that Guerlain Homme has a similar vibe to Concentre d'Orange Verte by Hermes. But that similarity lies only in the vibe and the feeling wearing them, because they smell totally different. That similarity is just the comfort of smelling and sniffing it over and over again, but I can sense that satisfaction a lot more when wearing Guerlain Homme. Why? Well, because it literally lasts around 4x as long as the Hermes with a much better projection. Not that Guerlain Homme is super strong, but that Hermes just lasts for around 1.5 to 3 hours on my skin, with a very soft projection. On the other hand, Guerlain Homme can last for 6 to 7 hours on my skin, with a moderate projection in the first hour or so and then it sits closer to the skin. I can say that Guerlain Homme is a safe blind buy, especially if you like how mojito smells in a fragrance. The Intense version is darker, sharper, and heavier to me, so the original EDT is just a bit more wearable. Both of them are awesome, though. Got the EDT instead, because the Intense or the EDP (in that tall bottle) are getting a lot harder to find here.

I just received a 20ml decant of this. What's not to like, honestly. Immediately it smells familiar and somewhat common, but there's a "greenness" that sets it apart. Sure there's mint, but it's subtle and it's more like the stems of the plant moreso than any leaves or anything easily detectable as mint. A touch "fresh grassy", but doesn't directly smell like grass if that even makes sense. I get the whole "mojito" connection but i don't immediately agree with that, because i feel like it may be misleading that this cologne is sweet or has a bunch of lime; neither of those are really true. But as mentioned before, i do get a sort of "mint stems" essence which is synonymous with mojitos. ...but again, no sugary sweetness nor big squeeze of lime here. So yeah, the mojito vibe is there but it's market-savvy in the way that Cool Water doesn't smell like cold water but it evokes that vibe. .... Super pleased with this! I will absolutely buy a bottle because: a) i really love mojitos and b) i typically dig these types of clean, basic summer scents which have juuuuust enough somethin' to set them apart. For me i think it's that "fresh grassiness" that doesn't directly smell like grass. :)

I had an opportunity to wear this recently, and I'll be honest in my original impressions being fairly unfavorable. So what's changed that I now like this so much? Guerlain Homme isn't a fragrance that you 'love at first smell', as it begins with a very sharp and citrus opening -- the mint and lime tended were very sharp and slightly pungent at first sniff. GH is a scent that requires just a bit of patience, and 15 minutes with this will pay the real dividends. Once the notes settle into the heart and base, my first comment was simple: "This is damn nice." It's a fragrance that develops very nicely and moves away from that initial sharpness and yields a soft yet masculine scent where the cedar and vetiver take center stage, and the mojito essence is intriguing enough to tie those two ends together in a way that is elegantly understated. I compared it to L'Instant de Guerlain, and while both dried into a much different heart and base, GH was much smoother and far more enjoyable. Guerlain Homme, though not a signature scent for me, would be a perfect addition to a spring/summer wardrobe.

First impression: This was a blind buy gone right. After purchasing L'Instant and really enjoying the quality of a Guerlain fragrance, I was interested to see how they could do a more modern/popular take on a summer fragrance. I got to say, I really enjoy this! From the box I was already excited that it smelled like lime Kool-Aid with a good amount of sugar. But on the skin, I get so much more. From the start, I get a very nice sweet lime with some mint in the background. I can kind of detect another citrus note (maybe the bergamot), but sweet lime and mint is center stage. The mid gets a bit softer with the geranium and a very clean vetiver. The base adds a seductive element with the cedar and rum combining with the fresh and sweet mid. The first couple of hours this fragrance projects pretty well, but soon after becomes a skin scent. With this being a Woody Aromatic, I'm sure others will be able to detect this on you well after the 4 hour mark. The longevity is excellent for a citrus based fragrance (6 - 8 hours). I can't wait to wear this when the weather gets warmer.

Guerlain homme is so nice!! A refreshing, cool, elegant scent with the class of guerlain! Great blend of lime, mint, vetiver and cedar that gives a nice taste of Mojito. It's simple but not boring, guerlain homme is the proof that sometimes less is more. It's not super complex but quite easygoing, another fragrance that has a similar fresh-cocktail vibe Is shogun by alain Delon, but it's only my opinion. For spring and summer this is a great choice, for every situation and fit good for people over 25-28. Average performance . If you have the chance to buy the old formula just grab it! I'd been keeping an eye out for this fragrance for a while, but unfortunately had no luck since it was discontinued. My regular fragrance store finally got a few bottles of the old formulation a few months ago, so I jumped at the chance to buy one. It's a good thing I did, because they sold all 10 bottles within a week. This is a beautiful fragrance that's well-balanced and cleverly restrained. It opens with lime, mint, and mojito which work amazingly well together. It's a lovely, fresh opening scent that is maintained throughout. The drydown has a hint of vetiver, just a subtle note mixed with the mint. I prefer to wear this during the day, but I feel it could work for a summer evening as well. The only negative with this fragrance is the longevity. I get a measly 3 hours from it, with very gentle sillage. Given that I'm unlikely to find another bottle, I will have to ration this carefully. If you manage to find one, grab it - you won't be disappointed. If you are, I'll gladly buy it off of you!

The vetiver and geranium of Santos de Cartier with the powdery notes (mojito?) and cedar of Prada's Infusion d'Homme. What a brilliant creation. I tried the after shave first, and it gives a more smoky impression than the EDT. The smokiness is much gentler in the EDT. I wonder if the 'Intense' version of this one is more like the after shave. The pure quality of this scent is unmatched. I haven't smelled anything this quality, even for 4-7x the price. I usually hate powdery-soapy notes, but in this masterpiece they shine. They don't smell fake, feminine, too over-powering, or too dry as in other fragrances. Other than the four notes I mentioned earlier, I get a lot of bergamot in the opening. This is some of the strongest and highest quality bergamot i've experienced. I cant comment on longevity as I've been re-applying since I got my bottle, but the projection is outstanding. The entire room where I sprayed it twice still smelled like it hours later. 100/100

Is it possible to stop commenting on a perfume? I don't think so! I can't explain how happy I am with this perfume. Hasn't even been a week since owning it, and I've worn it so many times already. It's F%#*ING AH-MAZING!!! (Sorry about the language) :p My father was a perfume fanatic himself, And I'm 100% sure he may have had this perfume too. Because each time I spray this, I go through déjà vu... It's like I've smelt this before when I was a little girl. It smells very 90's & straight up reminds me of him❤️ The way I'd run to hug him, he had his leather jacket on with a black t shirt & jeans! That was my dad❤️ On to the smell, it's boozy, minty & vetiver to me, hasn't even been a week since owning this, & I've worn it so many times. Each time I spray this on my skin, or wrists, I'd be busy doing things, and I'd catch whiffs of this goodness. It creeps up on ya. It lasts a good time. With all honesty, once I finish my bottle, I'm repurchasing it again❤️

Distinguished, sophisticated, and inviting... All words to describe this beautiful creation from the house of Guerlain... I absolutely love this fragrance, but wish it lasted longer. As other reviewers have stated, the duration of this fragrance is less than 4 hours with minimal projection. Pity.. The blend of herbal and woodsy notes is truly extraordinary that leaves the wearer feeling confident, fresh, and clean. Despite the short longevity, I still love this fragrance and pitch a strong recommendation to the fragrance community Homme should be added to any collection – just take a decant with you to reapply as needed. Guerlain’s Homme is modestly priced, will fit just about any setting for wear, and smells great. My final tally is 4.0 stars out of 5. If the longevity were greater, Homme could easily fall into my Top 5... As always, enjoy your day and happy fragrance hunting...

A 21st Century Vetiver ... So this is one I like very much. I have been using a version of the intense for some time now. The "mojito" vibe is what defines this: a combination of rum, mint, rhubarb, patchouli and geranaium on a bed of vetiver. Speaking of vetiver, Thierry Wasser drew a lot on the first fragrance by Jean-Paul Guerlain , Vetiver for men. The heavy base of vetiver is what grounds this one. I was able to pick up on the mojito theme which came from the trip taken by Sylvaine Delacourte to Cuba. It's really refreshing and the note of rhubarb is different and welcoming. Overall this is an incredibly versatile fragrance. I think it can be worn in so many different scenarios. Guerlain have proved that even a fresh scent can be done with mastery and charm. Highly recommended as an alternative to the many others out there... This one is in a class of it's own!

With light aquatics filling the sky of men's fragrance like a featureless blanket of stratus clouds, trust Guerlain to come up with a perfume that is mainstream fresh but interesting. The mint-lime-rum top is charmingly fresh with enough sharpness to avoid being routine. As usual with these vaporous notes, this mojito accord doesn't last more a couple of hours, giving way to an excellent light off-dry cedar and vetiver base warmed by a touch of something resiny (not listed). There might be a slight aquatic note there somewhere but it doesn't stick out like an ozone factory as it does in the "fresh blue" genre. This is nothing like the more robust Guerlain men's fragrances you might be familiar with, but if you are in the mood for something different it could be just the ticket. It makes me think of Creed Silver Mountain Water transplanted to a Caribbean beach.

In the morning I sampled this cologne and by the late afternoon I went back to the store and bought a 100ml bottle. I really enjoy the fresh lime/mint aroma that I smell when I first sprayed it on my skin. After it settled the clean woodsy notes of cedar and a moderate note of vetiver comes though making it a excellent masculine cologne. What makes this fragrance unique is the fresh spicy blend with a slight floral scent of Geranium that comes through making it very fresh. What is a desirable note with this cologne is bergamot, it gives this cologne a clean summer/daytime fragrance that I use at least twice a week. Longevity is well over 8hr and sillage is very good. Overall I rate this cologne 8.5/10 Update, August 25th.16 This juice has more of a minty/citrus vib whereas Boisée has the same base more of a woodsy/spicy/citrus vib overall.

I make mojitos at home (it's my favorite drink) and I must say that Guerlain Homme is a good interpretation of how a mojito smells, especially at the start. Surely not as natural, but can't complain that I find it too synthetic. Although, my drink is not as sweet at "Homme", which has nice dark brown sugar top. Sweet but sparkling refreshing and delicious, aromatic but not necessarily boozy. I like that the top stays with me for a good couple of hours and when it dries down, while losing that effervescency, it still smells delicious. The lime and mint are evolving into sweet woods and that's pretty much what I'm left with. I am very happy of what they did with the "Homme" line and sad to hear this one has been discontinued. A very light review, I like this so much, I got nothing to complain. Get this while these are still around, I prefer this over intense. I haven't tested the latest intense though, do they reformulate? I'm no conspiracy creator, simply wondering about the possibilities here. Guerlain quality is inside, I don't claim to know the house that much, that said, over and over again, this bottle let me into this world of fragrance and welcomes me back, whimsical, boozy, lime, mint, geranium, I love all of what's in this. So the lack of longevity is not really an issue for me, oh, and this type of vetiver is also so beautiful, sure you can go for Boisée, but I suggest you own them both. Lastly, once thing I don't get though is the main accord 'green'. What does that mean? :)

EDT Discontinued what a shame since this amazing scent got me into the house of guerlain and now they have discontinued it. It was this scent that got me to try and buy habit rouge, vetiver. This was suppose to be their way of getting a new generation of customers well they almost made that work but i suppose i won't be messing around with anymore fragrances from this house since i have been using this fragrance for the last 5 years and can say it is as close to what a signature scent would be for me. Guerlain have let me down the EDP and lea boisee don't even come close to this year round scent especially the original formula with the silver front. reformulation was still good enough for me to keep going back. on the search for a signature scent once again

I don't drink, so I don't know what a Mojhito is or what it tastes like, but I know that I greatly like this fragrance! It is a delightfully fresh citrus and mint scent that smells very good on me, indeed. It's a nice break away from the heavy leathers and animalics I normally favor. An excellent warm weather fragrance that also works in cold weather. (I am testing it on a very cold day, indeed.) I also like the Intense flanker, but I'm not sure which I like better. I'd have to smell them side by side. But Guerlain does it once again. This stuff is heavenly. I want a bottle! Note: I detect nothing animalic or peppery in it at all. For me it is a bright citrus-mint-vetiver scent.

It is my favorite from Guerlain, a great pity that they took it out of production. They replaced it with perfume water, which now comes in a rectangular bottle, the same one from Vetiver and Habit Rouge. the same projection and freshness as the original. What can you want in summer more than the coolness of crushed mint leaves and covered with the juice of a lime, over which you sprinkled a little white rum? .... mmmmm .... refreshing, effervescent, delicious! It's a mystery to me that it didn't catch on to the public. It had all the advantages of a megahit: brand, funny promotional advertising, glass with a unique design and last but not least exceptional perfume.

I was looking for a nice summer office scent, not your standard run of the mill sports edition or overloaded citrus concoction but not something so strange that it would feel odd wearing it in a work environment either. This fits the bill perfectly. It's not a projection monster on me but though it can start out a bit harsh and tart it soon settles down into what seems and extremely well blended fragrance. Although the lime is the dominant note for me it does not overpower the rest and they all come together to give a very pleasing fresh smelling fragrance. Not huge longevity either unfortunately but while it's there it's a very pleasant companion.

I sample this years ago and finally I bought a bottle. I don't know it took me so long to get it. I love this fragrance. To me it's very refreshing and cool. Every time I wear this it reminds me of summer at the beach. This is definitely a summer fragrance. This is not one of those summer fragrance like aqua di gio or Versace pour homme. This more like partying with friends drinking alcohol. Love this fragrance. It got that kick of mojito and lime. This fragrance cools me off in a hot weather. Definitely my favorite summer fragrance. Last 6 hours plus.

Since this is discontinued, I have decided to buy last 30ml from local eshop which had it. This is one of the best or maybe the best blind buy (and I like to do blind buys a lot). The mint is very fresh, not sweet like it is in other mint fragrances, but like ice cold mint, fresh. I feel some rum in opening too. At first I didn't noticed mojito smell, but later I felt it. And the best thing - I don't feel anything synthetic like in 70% of other fragrances. Damn now I want to go to beach and order a mojito while wearing this one.

Perfect for sunny day. A citrus aromatics fragrance with green nuance. Gives you sensation of sipping a mojito, while sit back and relax, sunglasses on, under the shades of beach umbrella, and listening to ocean wave. Super tangy lime and burst of bergamot, meets freshly crushed mint leaves and rum with a background of vetiver and cedar. Easy but unforgettable. The old bottle and (maybe) formulation is the best from Guerlain freshie department. Two thumbs up for master Thierry Wasser and Sylvaine Delacourte.

Maybe I don't need a husband for now.. I sampled this on Sunday. And days after I couldn't stop smelling the strip. As a female, I'm happy to say I bought myself a bottle! THIS IS GOOD FELLAS! The mint, mojito, rum & lime play well. It smells man enough, but hell I'm ready to pull this thing off ;) I'm completely honest with my reviews, at first I purchased Creed aventus, Shopped around and found it smells too fruity & meh-ish.. Walked back to the perfume store & changed it for this fella❤️

(2008 EDT) Sparkling, light and perfect for those hot summer days. Longevity has never been the best for me with this one (4 hours, maybe), but your mileage may vary. Either way, I don't mind reapplying or over-spraying to start as this is light enough not to choke you out. The "effervescent" mojito note is real, making it super refreshing, minty and sweet yet tart... One of my all-time faves. I've not tried the newer "square" versions of this, but hope they're in the same ballpark.

To my nose, this one has a very strong resemblance to A*Men Pure Energy/Pure Shot, but with lime being front and center. If you could imagine Pure Energy and Creeds Virgin Island Water having a baby, this would most definitely be it. Going to be great for the upcoming warmer spring/summer days, and has such a nice "pick me up" scent to it which I really enjoy. One of those scents that you could spritz on any time of the year to uplift your mood.

Very natural. It starts with lemon rum... all the notes And after 30 minutes i get gerenium. Well....i do like it very much Its got the guerlain quality to it. Very good . Performence is ok if i spray 3-4 spray. On my skin i can say if you like flowery scents go for it becouse i get almost 80% gerenium but a wonderfull gerenium. I dont have that kind in my collection and this very very versitle and sofisticate so...a blind buy well made. Enjoy.

blame the older generation of guerlain fans for this amazing fragrance for being discontinued. They gave it a bad name for no good reason from day one 2006 and that was enough for it to not sell enough bottles in the first two years of release what a waste and shame on guerlain for discontinuing such an amazing scent. was my signature so i guess I'm going back to chanel to find a signature as they do not easily discontinue there lines

such an uplifting scent!Marvellous simply amazing.I would call it inique. You just know it by looking at the bottle alone. Fresh,minty,woody and somewhere between some flowers are blooming,but no too much.Just so to be more aromatic,sophisticated. Did a comparison between this and Lalique's white. It is like heayweight boxer vs chess player. Lalique has the punch, whereas Guerlain has totally different things to offer.

This is a really underrated scent. It's a shame it was discontinued. It has character and class. I prefer scents like these more than the Bleu de Chanel and Sauvage scents and their clones that are popular these days. A young man could rock this as much as a more mature man. It isn't too strong or offputting, and suits any occasion. I like the minty mojito profile. I find this to be long lasting as well.

I didn't know that there are two versions of this.. The one with the silver face and one without. If you check guerlain's website you will find the one without the silver plate,which is different than this. The new formula have rhubarb in it,which I have no clue what that is,but it surely changed a lot in the fragrance. I found a supplier with 50 bottles of the old formula. If someone wants,pm me

Reportedly soon to be discontinued, I expect this will be one that commands a small fortune several years from now, much like D&G By Man. Make no mistake about it, it's a bloody good fragrance. Complaints about longevity can easily be overcome with smart application. I get 10-12 hrs with this top of the line gem. Homme layered with Guerlain Boisee is absolutely brilliant.

A beguiling everyday fragrance, hissy with lime and other citrus and a smooth dry-down to a slightly powdery-ambery slimness. This might be too slight for some, but it's a mood lifter and just feels great after a shower. It has that round-edged Guerlain perfection that seems to be a trademark of the company. I'm hoarding this because it's been discontinued.

I got to sample this on a paper strip Sunday, And believe it or not the smell is still there! Something about mint in perfumes just does it for me! I'd love to smell this on a guy (preferable my future hubby) If that day comes and I marry someone, I'll gladly buy him bottles of this. Smelling the strip just makes me "mmmmm" I'm giving this a solid 6.5/10

One of the coolest perfumes for men out there- Guerlain Homme is a white shirt with sleeves rolled up on a cloudless day under the cabana at the resort. It's a day at the Derby with your seersucker suit and derby hat on. Cool, casual, and classy done to perfection.

High score for this typical summer holiday fragrance!!! Lovely fresh attitude, amazing versatility and just perfect sillage. Personally I really like this scent and I highly recommend it. Spray on you and go take a wee walk on the beach at the sand just next at the ocean and enjoy how the breeze playing with the notes around you!!!

Guerlain Homme opens with a very natural mojito accord (consisting of mint, lime, white rum, and sugarcane) that quite literally smells like the drink itself. After awhile it transitions into a woody, citric, and slightly powdery vetiver. This is a great spring fragrance that reminds me of being on vacation.

I think i get about 6-8 hours out of guerlaine homme, also when i tried creed original vetiver it lit a bulb in my head and im pretty sure it reminds me of this, the bubbly vetiver and the lime is what gives me olfactory deja vu i think. Anyhow, 8 love the mojito vibe and everything about this fragrance.

unique scent. for the mainstream market. usually found in niche perfumery. i can't think of a single mass market scent that smells like this. can be worn year round best for spring/summer last 6-8 hours but is still there after the 8th hour but a skin scent so someone who sits close to u will smell it.

Nice surprise this fragance! I love the middle notes, felt fresh and alcoholic sense. Fresh and very masculine frag. I think vetiver lovers gonna luv or hate, because this frag combine vetiver and a sugar note from Mojito, not too sweet but i've heard people doesn't like this combination! #ladykiller

Amazing, elegant fragrance. Modern perfumery at its best. This original is still better in my eyes compared to the overly boozy intense version and the unimaginative L'eau Boisee version. This is not only full bottle worthy, it is multiple backup worthy given the constant rumours of discontinuation.

This is now availiable from guerlain. The bottle design has moved to the habit rougue style now. concentration is now EDP. It smells in between Guerlain homme edt and edp intense. and lasting power is very good. nice to know i can get my hands on this once again. One of the best mens gurlain scents.

The lime note in this is amazing sadly now discontinued. Guerlain can we have this back please... also own the new formulation in the EDP which i love but this is still a nicer scent when it comes to the opening mojito/lime. Thumbs up if u think Guerlain should bring this back.

This is the freshest and cleanest juice in the world. Soapier than soap itself and more citric than any acid. If you like Dunhill's Icon, Geoffrey Beene's Grey Flannel or Aramis' Aramis 900 Herbal, Guerlain's Homme is the winner in this leauge. A masterpiece.
