This could, in my opinion, could have been a Victoire Gobin-Daudé fragrance of 18 years ago -- it has a sticky, organic, sappy quality that reminds me of her "Seve Exquise" but much more tart from the rhubarb and grapefruit. All in all it's pretty seamless and warrants both the name "Imagine" and the pretty light purple color of the juice itself. It's a hopeful fragrance, keeping in line with the John Lennon song and his carefree but serious ethos. The black tea in the fragrance grounds it and makes it very interesting. It's edible and inedible in equal parts, just about perfect. I bought it because after smelling it I could not get it out of my mind...I wore this on a trip to London and it seemed to buttress my visit with positivity and hope. A "floaty", buoyant fragrance. I do like the idea of dedicating perfumes to physical places on the earth and I find this one particularly successful in it's rendition of a Pam Hogg atmospheric weather- like elegance.

Imagine is just as beautiful as London was! I even have the impression that rose is slightly more pronounced here, and the top notes are more crisp and sparkly then they were in London. However, this might simply be caused by the freshness of the juice. My bottle of London is now over 6 years old. This is a masterpiece, and I’m so happy they brought it back!

It’s a travesty this masterpiece was discontinued. I have a small spray sample, but I won’t use it all as I’ll just become bummed that the rare FB is waaaaay out of my price range. Such a dazzling, fresh & delicious scent. Poor judgement, Guerlain.

It was released in 2019. This is exactly London 04 from ‘Une Ville, Un Parfum’ line which was launched before by Guerlain in their quintuple collection (Moscow, Tokyo, New York, London & Shanghai). . Imagine transports us to the heart of London’s classic style through a timeless olfactory story. With welcome nod to the famous John Lennon hymn ‘Imagine’ with a feeling of deep sorrow as well as a romantic air. . It starts with a tangy & vegetal accord which made by rhubarb, grapefruit & bergamot beside tea greenness. Then we get lots of flowery vibe because of a strong Rosy accord is strewn with cardamom & violet. And will complete with a light woody base at the end of this music. It’s so beautiful. Green, fresh, aromatic and floral.
