Jardin de l'Élysée

The best in the current collection, a shame it's a limited edition. Opens with bright citruses, fruit notes that smell like peach mirage, white florals. You really feel you could be in a garden. I don't love white florals, especially jasmin, but it's superbly blended. The best thing about this perfume is the performance: it lasts a long time and projects well of skin and clothes. Overall, a fresh, very classy and all season smell perfectly unisex, get it before it runs out, the handcrafted bottle is beautiful too.

This is a wonderful scent. Its more fresh smelling than it is floral. You can barely detect it unfortunately. Maybe that is the goal with this. 7/10

I saw it listed for a very good price and tested again from my decant to make up my mind. And again had the same “I know this from somewhere”. It has an Ex Nihilo Lust in Paradise-Quentin Bisch- airy floral vibe. It is a light scent, dry, even a bit bitter but projects noticeably. The rose is pink and the tea is prominent. I even find slight similarities to Fleur Du Mal (even though no peach is in this one but it had an apple-like opening which might just be from the green florals in the middle). It is also cold. I would say it is nice in a way but since I love the regular powdery-warm-balsamic-tonka DNA of Guerlain and this one is as far from that as it can be, I will skip it. If anything, it gives more Aqua Alegoria feel. If you like tea and rose, you will enjoy it. Edit: I couldn’t get this one out of my head because it is nice for spring and I did some comparisons- first I compared to Amour Celeste and they are not the same, if anything Amour Celeste is more like Fleur Du Mal with the osmanthus note. Then I compared to Neroli Outernoir and actually this is the closest one. Close as sisters close where the rose is the only difference but since it is way too light in JDE and the tea is dominating, you get the almost the same scent. I got a confirmation it will be re-released as a limited one again next year, so if you missed it, look for one with these notes pretty soon.

I love this. Purchased in Paris and do not regret it! It’s fresh and quite strong and long-lasting. Wonderful for spring but I’m also currently loving it in the summer. The magnolia note is my favorite part. 🤍
