Big agree w the review below me! LPRN Intense is at first spray a burst of super sour, tart blueberries and some fluffy cotton candy underneath with patchouli mixed in. Lighthearted and carefree! I actually don’t get any rose in this fragrance, I think this is a pure fruitchouli. I get some raspberry too, mostly blending in with the juicy tartness of the blueberries. When my mom tested this on her skin it was slightly spicier, and almost smelled like anise on her skin. But that’s probably the unripe blueberries with patchouli making a dark concoction similar to anise scents. Very syrupy but not cloying or too sweet. Still, it’s a true fall fragrance. If you’re a fan of Lancôme’s Tresor Midnight Rose you’ll love this too, even if this has more gourmand notes to it. Dry down is this musky, pretty scent. Kinda like a powdery makeup scent, or almost traces of insolence. Performance isn’t very good, unfortunately. But I like this scent a lot and I can wear it for myself at the end of the day. Safe blind buy if you: 1. Love fruitchoulis, 2. Love mix of sweet and sour, 3. Like raspberry scents and want something along those lines, 4. Are into the LPRN line. I love the EDT, and I think I need to smell the OG again to make a proper opinion on it, but this is different enough from the two to warrant buying it even if you have the OG or EDT.

Never been a fan of the LPRN line and their cherry dominance. So I was excited to try the intense flankers since they didn’t contain cherries and instead they contain cotton candy and berries which I tend to favor. Upon first spray I went like this 😍🤤😍🤤😍 I felt I found myself in a bottle 😂 as in if I was a fragrance, this would be it! OMG what is this magnificent scent!! It’s fun and flirty, sexy & seductive, elegant & demure all at the same time. The patchouli gives it an edge and prevents it from being a generic teen sweet scent. It adds the maturity and sexiness to round up the scent and keep it from being “just another sweet scent”. Beast mode projection and sillage. Now super excited to try the older blue intense flanker as well.

This has been on my wish list for a while. Finally got a bottle and it does not disappoint. If the colour Pink could be described as a scent. This is it. Think a deep fuchsia rose. Sweet, ethereal, girly but mature. The cotton candy and jasmine for me are the most prominent notes. Im not a huge fan of rose fragrances but this is done perfectly. It's almost reminiscent of Miss Dior Parfum even though the notes are different they are similar to my nose. The longevity is excellent on this. I get a solid 4 hours on skin and on clothes I could still smell it the next day

What can I say? I’m a simple woman and I like what I like. This is a perfume that demands your attention. Opens syrupy with a touch of sourness, like from an unripe blueberry, and then dries down into the coziest fruitchouli ever. There’s a hint of the typical Guerlain powder, but it’s not overpowering like Mon Guerlain can be at times. This is fresher, fruity, dark AND bright somehow? I’m in love. This is an easy grab for me.

I am not a fruit or floral gal, but I love this. It's perfect for cooler weather and gives me an really nice option when I am wanting something not as woody/spicy as my typical choices. This has a deep, thick berry that does not go medicinal, a touch of rose, and just enough patchouli in the base to anchor everything. I may be in the minority, but this is a cold weather winner.

Deep blueberry vanilla syrup, the bergamot adds a zesty brightness. It’s sweet but not juvenile, slightly woody and spicy adds maturity. It reminds me a little of Midnight Fantasy, but far more refined. If you like syrupy scents with a hint of woodiness and a little maturity, LPRNI is 🙌🏻🙌🏻

It is beautiful and bright scent! Does not much reminds previous version in the blue bottle. This one is sooo much alike to Dior style! All variants of Miss Dior and Joy by Dior are in the same direction. Only Dior is more powdery and Guerlain is more juicy.

Delicious! Fruity and interesting, like the one in the blue bottle but better, more refined and mature, even though it still smells a lot like cotton candy. It’s a solid yes for me, maybe even a love.

Love this fragrance. I know it's a "heavier " scent, but I can wear this all year round. I have 2 backups also, as it's heavenly

Juicy candy sweet but with enough depth that it is not overwhelming. Very well balanced and lovely! Miles better than the EDP.

La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Parfum Intense by Guerlain has many notes that I like. Can't wait to try it. Thank you.

La Petite Robe Noire EDP Intense 2022 formulation is a strong, very sweet fruity-floral with pronounced patchouli and vanilla in the base. Upon spraying I can sniff immediately a mixture of sweet raspberries, blueberries and cotton candy. No citrus though. Then, the middle notes, two types of rose, orange flower and jasmine blend into the composition and offer a bit of contrast against the saccharine sweetness of the opening. The base notes that come mostly on me are patchouli and vanilla. I don’t perceive this scent as being a musky one. Sandalwood gives the blend a smoother feel, I don’t feel like this is a woody perfume. I am familiar with LPRN line, mainly with the older released bottles, Black Perfecto line , with the cherry notes prominent and I have bought this version because I love blueberries and raspberries and wanted a fragrance that features these two fruits prominently but I don’t really love this. I like it though and I will be keeping it. Objectively speaking all the notes from the listing are amongst my favourites ones, including patchouli, but there is something in the juice that prevents me from fully enjoying it. Can’t figure exactly what it is... As far as performance goes, this performs amazingly, in line with the rest of LPRN range. Strong performance and strong sillage. Even though this is it’s a fruity-floral perfume, it’s not the one for summertime wear. It’s more a fall/winter fruity floral because it’s so potent, projecting and sweet. Some might say too sweet.. As a side note, I can totally see the resemblance between this and the original La Vie est Belle that Stimul mentioned below. These two share the same sweetness, intensity and fruitiness aspect overall! Two fruitychouli bombs. I love the bottle design very much and the pink degrade effect it has.

After having mistakenly got this one instead of the regular EDP I thought id leave a review, I really wasn't sure when I first got this, aside from being confused it was just not as sweet as id hoped it would be. But fast forward a few months and Ive come to appreciate this sort of grown-up fruity rose scent, its in no way a juvenile scent or some body spray-type fruit fragrance, there is a lot of layers to it and it dries down to a..... well, mature scent (In my own opinion) I get a lot of rose in the dry down, along with a woodiness and earthiness that I quite like. There are instances of blueberry that come through, but on my skin, it's fairly rose-dominant, which luckily I don't mind! I can't say this would be a safe blind buy, but perhaps you could find a tester to try it for a few weeks and give it a chance.

I like this one better than the EdT and the regular EdP, because it doesn't have the dreaded cherry note. Love the blueberry, raspberry and cotton candy notes in here, along with the rose of course! I can see that most people have rated this as a winter fragrance, but to me it's more of an autumn/spring scent. Longevity it pretty great, projection is moderate. I have the little refillable heart format, which is adorable and is fantastic for travel. I know that at some point I will be getting a bigger bottle.

This only has a faint similarity to the OG. It is much more fruity, sweet and mass appealing. Reminds me a little of Dior Absolutely Blooming and La Vie Est Belle. I get a lot of raspberry in this and the rose is dominant, with a nice creamy vanilla base. Nice easy grab perfume that is non-offensive. Wish performance was better, only smell this on me for 2-3 hours before I have to top it up. OG had much much better performance and had a more unique scent - I would stick to the OG.

I also accidentally purchased this flanker, thinking it was a different one. It's sweet, but the powdery aspects overrule the sweetness to my nose. I like it, I will wear it, but it's fruity and powdery, not in a candy way. I do not love it. I fear it may be related to the disappointment that I bought the wrong flanker. I agree with @LittleDolly This is very reminiscent of Midnight Fantasy. I like it, but I almost want this to be a tad sweeter.

I am just discovering the LPRN line, but this intense version is really interesting to me, I like it better than the original. It also seems like a better version of my old Dior Absolutely Blooming. Could easily replace it. Nice for fall/winter or maybe a special occasion. It is quite sweet and fruity, but it's definitely done better than most perfume in this category. It feels a bit young but still elegant and very chic.

This is like a deep berry vanilla scent and quite syrupy. I get the jasmine and musc and vanilla. This is an Intense but there’s nothing intense about it, it’s rather soft smelling. This is nothing spectacular but ok for a day scent. It’s nice but not sure if it would be a repurchase. Reminds me of a lighter version of Dior Poison girl edo. And it also has a similar vanilla drydown as Burberry goddess.

After a fierce woody opening, this perfume softens into a lovely autumnal gourmand. Blackberries nestle in hedgerows, earthy, darkly sweet and vibrant with life. It's Brambly Hedge gone to Provence!

Very much a fruity, airy cotton candy fragrance. Sweet saccharine sugar with fruits. I liked it when first smelling it. But now, I feel that it’s fallen flat

Compared to the blue bottle La Petite Robe Noire Intense, the blueberry is toned down for the raspberry and it smells more spicey (NOT spicey, just more spicey compared). It sort of reminds me of La Nuit Trésor the way it's syrupy and dark, but ofc La Nuit Trésor is sweeter and has more rose. The original is more of a blueberry cotton candy scent. It's a lot more edible and sweet, this one's sweet but kind of mature, smokey, and complex. Personally I like the original better, it starts out with a very natural blueberry, dries down to a cotton candy caramel blueberry scent, then turns into this super sweet but less edible scent I can only compare to Sweet Fuchsia by La Senza which I'm sure no one has ever smelled, but is very syrupy and feminine. This? I don't really see the point. There are so many perfumes in the La Petite Robe Noire collection, yet they took the sweetest most playful one and made it into something we didn't need. We had the sweet cherry almond scent, the pistachio scent, a more smokey cherry, why did someone take the cotton candy blueberry gourmand one, and turn it into this? This sugary patchouli raspberry rose. The base notes are pretty nice, it smells like sugar vanilla. Just another one lost to reformulation. Something unique that we needed, popularized and gone. If you like the sound of this fragrance, I recommend La Nuit Trésor instead. Yeah it's also reformulated, but it's what this fragrance does but better. I mean I'll still wear this it's super sweet, but look what we used to have...

I was familiar with the “dress” fragrances only through a sample of the classic version, which I tried about 10 years ago or even more. Guerlain is not represented in my city. I decided that I wanted “the little black dress” for myself. I was choosing between versions and eventually settled on the Intense (many people praised it). I was specifically looking for the discontinued version in the blue bottle (with the box featuring a light blue border). I found it, ordered it, and then the perfume arrived by mail. And no - it turned out to be the modern version. Returns are not accepted. Sadly, I had to try the new formulation. What can I say? I don’t like it. It’s too syrupy. The scent feels like some kind of herbal cough syrup (I don’t know which one exactly, but the association is there). I don’t want to inhale it, and sometimes when I catch its trail on myself, I keep thinking every time: “Oh my God, what is this unpleasant perfume on me?” Yes, for me it is unpleasant. It’s rough, syrupy (overly sweet), thick, dense, slightly bitter, and at the same time it reminds me of medicine. The only thing is that in the base (on my skin) it becomes softer and more pleasant - but I don’t want to wait for the base. The fragrance is long-lasting. I sprayed it on a sweater, took it off in the evening and hung it on the balcony, and the next day, just walking past it, I could still catch a medicinal trail coming from it.

Really don't know what to think about this perfume, it starts nicely just like the original La petite robe noire, except the cherry note, then it starts smelling like Lapsang Souchong tea with that typical smokiness, and raspberry syrup. Well, not really something I would like to be smelling like throughout the whole day, even that I like that tea, but to drink.

Slightly sexy rose in the beginning that quickly becomes too mature of a scent with a strong patchouli base.. 4/10

I definitely PREFER THE ORIGINAL Thierry Wasser version... I felt this is more sharp, sweet but missing sophistication.

Well Guerlain, you did it. You ruined quite possibly my most purchased fragrance - the one that made me feel so much positivity that it became a part of of trying to create a good mental routine. Feeling anxious? Reach straight for the blue bottle. Sad? Stressed? Overwhelmed? Depressed? LPRNI was my answer to a lot of those things. To some people it sounds ridiculous, and to that I say - we're all just trying to be happy. And this used to make me happy. I don't want to write a boring essay so I'll just say the opening is SO close to being identical, but the sweet blueberry/cotton candy combo dies off fairly quickly, leaving a semi sweet but mostly earthy trail. Some may love it, others won't like the change. I'll wear this, because we don't waste perfume in this house, but I'm going to have to find another "perfect" scent that helps no matter what. Somehow this has gotten even worse over time. With it being summer, I've rotated to my lighter fragrances and I decided to give this another chance. I had to come here to absolutely make sure there isn't cassis in formula, because it's all I can smell. No lovely fruits, no lush florals. Mainly that cassis scent that borderlines on "cat urine" for which it's known, with some indescript sharp sweetness. The original blue bottle was my absolute favourite fragrance, but in typical fashion they changed it and ruined it for me. Not even a year of maturation could save it 😥

Oh wow! I was expecting the worst reading reviews here and on the OG/2016 formulation but I’m actually pretty happy with this one. Right away, spraying the original and reformulated on each hand, I can see they amped up the overall intensity in this newer release. It’s slightly fruitier and carries a more aggressive musk at the base but this is not a massive departure from the original. The original sprayed on my right hand is actually quite subtle in comparison, it had a more identifiable blueberry note at the start with that punchy sour patchouli but is now fully dissipated and hidden behind a soft wall, somewhat indistinct. The 2025 release on my left hand is going strong with its pronounced raspberry forward top note and blueberry beneath it that comes out the longer the wear. The musk is a bit overwhelming but that may just be a first time wear issue. This is still the same velvety smooth LPRN with depth minus cherry and licorice. I think this is a solid reformulation and worth sampling if you’re a fan of the original LPRN Intense. Not sure what all the fuss is about 🤷♀️

This is definitely a colder weather/nighttime fragrance, and definitely not a juvenile scent. It's sweet and syrupy with a strong juicy blueberry opening. I agree with a couple of other reviews that there are noticeable similarities with La Vie est Belle. I find it difficult to identify the rose note at all as it seems to be drowned out by the patchouli. While I don't dislike it, I'm not 100% sure whether I'm going to keep my bottle or sell it on. I find it a tad too strong. Going to give it another try in a few days. 🤔

Thankfully, the rose in this perfume is barely noticeable. Yes, the formula is different than the formula of the 2012 version, but this perfume will always be one of my absolute favorites. It's a bit fresher than the previous formulas, and honestly lacks a bit depth compared to the previous versions - so be it. The cherry is still very much present. Wish it had a bit more longevity like the old formula! Other than that, lovely scent for any season and time of day.

The blue bottle is significantly stronger and BETTER,😭 WHY THEY JUST MESS UP 👿? LUCKYLY I back up others 2 blue bottles. I'm not sure if I will get this "intense" version, is weak, is missing something good from the blue, the sweet cocoa note, this is like more fresh fruit... Is not perfect as the 💙 blue. Sorry Guerlain you did bad. Thierry Wasser, aside be a handsome, is master perfumer, sorry Delphine, go back to the table, you have to learn.

I tested this yesterday and I am still debating. On my skin it is again very long lasting, I could still smell it even after almost 24 hours. Is it the same fragrance as the one in the blue bottle, I am not sure. The DNA is there but I could detect the difference in the pyramid for sure and it is not as sweet as before. Maybe in this version it is all year around fragrance, however, I need to test it in the summer to be sure.

she’s cute. a like, not a love. the berries are nicely done, and the cotton candy adds a nice sweet nuance. otherwise, this smells like many other sugary fruity florals out there. feminine and pleasant and inoffensive enough to wear in an office setting; if you’re truly looking for an “intense” fragrance, this probably isn’t it.

Ooh super excited for this! LOVE that the House of Guerlain is adding more naturals to their fragrances and backing off of synthetics. THIS is what is needed in perfumery. Although, I do hope their next launch is a new line and not another flanker.

Obviously they’re changing their whole line up to bear the new logo and to be XYZ % natural origin. It was announced earlier this year that they would start with the LPRN line. My guess is that Mon Guerlain and Shalimar will follow next year.

I see it as a distinct fragrance that has nothing of the flagman dress Dna. It has berries, roses and it's sweet. Less sweet on the skin and sweeter on clothes. Wearing this one right now in cold winter.

Smelled it yesterday in nocibe (france). Not a fan of this, the orange note is very acidic.... Smell a lot like the old intense with even more blueberry i would say. Really smell like coca cola lol

The flanker of a flanker thing was done before with Black Perfecto and then Black Perfecto Florale :P Eitherway, unlike other houses, I am always excited for a guerlain!

The initial spray is delightful, the dry down is awful. It smells like heaven, but you end up smelling like a dude. I guess it’s the patchouli? SO disappointing.

Mine is original but something is wrong about it 😭😭😭 like it smells so powdery 😭😭😭 and i remember this being sweet idk im just gonna let this mancerate
