La Petite Robe Noire Eau de Toilette My Cocktail Dress 2017

This is the best looking ever LPRN limited edition at a very affordable price. There is no photograph I have ever seen that can do justice to this exquisite black bottle. The good part is that one won't know which dress, out of fifteen, the model on the front would wear until after opening the box. The juice inside the gorgeous bottle is the same as the regular LPRN EDT and there have already been numerous reviews written about it. At the same price as the regular LPRN, it is definitely a deal to get a limited edition bottle from the house of Guerlain.

First of all, this is not the EDT. It's an EDP. The bottle itself is quite cute, actually, as the pink background and black design and bottle offer a nice contrast. I have design 3, an oddly girlie alien-ish lady. I think it's fitting for the contrast in the perfume itself. I don't have any other bottle quite like it. Cocktail 2017 is a pleasant, if quirky, scent. I struggle with what weather it suits most. It starts with an explosion of very borderline violent currant and the same cherry as in LPRN. Zingy, sweet, an a bit cloying. The patchouli is present too, and it is rough and does not temper the fruits well. After a few minutes, however, the currant and cherry calm down, and the patchouli fades to the background. I can smell a distinct fresh greenness that cuts through the sweetness nicely. A fruity rose also pops up, but it never overwhelms the berries. There's also an unusual musky earthiness deep in there. The drydown is a constantly shifting, almost vibrating, combination of berry, floral, and earthy green scents that don't smell distinctly of any one note.

This flanker is nearly identical to the LPRN EDT!! I would say if you already own the EDT there's nothing special or remarkable enough about this one to purchase both. (except if you like to collect limited edition bottles~) The perfume itself is very understated and simple compared to the EDP, which can be a bonus if you're looking for one that is hot-weather friendly. However, I would recommend the LPRN Eau Fraiche over this one sadly. It is different enough from the original and suits spring and summer beautifully, with some added citrus and pistachio notes. This one is still a pretty scent, but sadly fades after a couple hours. Smells of faint cherries and cranberry juice cocktail.

So I'm not crazy, this IS a different perfume than original lprn. It's not as good. Very strong apple ruins it for me. update: i like it more now, its a fresh fruity treat like a popsicle. but lacks the yummy anise that makes the og so good.

I like their bottles as I like innovative creative bottles for my dresser. Square bottles look minimalist and I get that mood often too, but playful moods need to be expressed for those days and nights when you want to play! I have not smelled this one, but it has cherry and Rose together which I am sure I will live. Next time I visit the Guerlain counter I will ask if they have it. Texas is not France.

I’m beginning to think it doesn’t matter what is inside the bottles, it’s all about the bottle. I’ve never tried any of the Le Petit Robes, and if I wanted to pick one, it would have to be without much review advice, since most of the reviews are on the bottle, not the scent.

Absolutely heavenly! Addictive sour cherries surrounded by seductive green notes. Just the right amount of intensity with great sillage. A true star! Hope it stays around.

I very happy I find it and I own it. It is very similar to la petite robe noire black perfecto EDT with this rose note. It is similar to all line in general.

Probably my favorite cherry scent. I got the bottle with style #10 dress. However, this says EDT and my box and bottle definitely say EDP.
