La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche

First impressions are of a mildly generic citrus and I am immediately disappointed. I adore kayali pistachio and really wanted something similar but slightly more fresh to wear for the summer. This, upon first spray is definitely fresh, but that is all I get with notes of bergamot and maybe pomelo really coming through for me. However, five minutes in and something magical begins to happen on my skin. It begins to transform into a clean, almost powdery scent and as I sit at my desk working I begin to occasionally catch whiffs of candied pistachio and nougat. I find myself wildly sniffing, wondering what it is because when i smell my wrist all I get is that strong fresh citrus and the delicious smell I occasionally get is exactly what I wanted this to smell like. Suddenly, it dawns on me, the scent cloud. This is a strange perfume in that, for the first two or so hours what I smell on my skin and what I smell five inches away from my skin could almost be two different but complimentary perfumes. Without the citrus the nougat/toasted pistachio, candied almond smell would be syrupy and cloying, as it stands (on me) it is stunning. It definitely becomes more subtle throughout the day, or maybe I'm going noseblind so I'll have to test tomorrow when I'm in the office but I still catch that occasional delicious smell that reminds me of the nougat and marzipan shops. It is important to note that my skin tends to take whatever hint of sweetness is in any perfume and amplify it to almost disgusting levels, so this perfume might sit differently on you. For instance, on my boyfriend it is a fresh patchouli with an almost indistinguishable nuttiness. I really, really enjoy this perfume and will test it out for the next week or so but if it continues to perform the way it has today I can see this becoming my spring/summer scent. In the evening, when it starts cooling down I put on a sweater I sprayed in kayali about a week ago and both fragrances work really well together.

It resembles a lot to petite robe noir EDT but with less projection and staying power. Petite robe noir EDT is more a grown scent because of the bigger quantity of patchouli appearing immediately on the front scene. Patchouli that I adore in EDT. I have the both bottles. The vibe is the same but notes are slightly different. I can feel the same nutty cherry in Eau fraiche but in less proportion. Patchouli is on the background and less pronounced. The smell is build around fresh almond blossom, almond and light white jasmine and freesia. A little bit of pistachio echoing far somewhere. It's not a fruity fragrance but more floral. I like a lot this subtleness, softness and freshness. Definitely it's a fragrance for the sunny early chilly spring days when the tiny leaf buds bedizen the branches of trees. It's a poetic fragrance evoking a beautiful world without hatred and the world with peace, love, flowers and all that stuff. It's an innocent fragrance and that is exactly what I like in it. I wear it with pleasure even if I'm over 30. I do not care that this fragrance aims younger generation. I take a pleasure to wear it and that's enough. The staying power is about 6-7 hours on clothes and much less on the skin. But it does not meter for me. Any case I prefer to wear perfumes on clothes. Lovely and innocent fragrance.

I absolutely love the smell of Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire EDP but as that's more suitable for colder weather so I always wanted to have the suitable summer version of this gem. La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche was on my wishlist for a really long time and finally I have it. It's everything I expected from a summer gourmand. It has the DNA of my favourite LPRN but with a fresher and airy touch. The opening of this Fragrance is fresh and citrusy. Gradually it turns into sweet & nutty but not an overpowering fragrance. Somehow it reminds me of Lemon cake with Pistachio Almond Vanilla Frosting :p The Floral and Fruity notes play a supporting role but to my nose the main noticeable notes are Citrus, Pistachio, Almond, Orange Blossom, Rose, Cherry & Vanilla. The fragrance is really well blended so it's kind of tough to detect individual notes. The Longevity is around 4-5 hours which is not bad for an eau de toilette. The projection is moderate. But I believe it will leave a beautiful Scent trail in spring breeze. It's a perfect Spring/Summer fragrance. It's an inoffensive scent so you can easily wear it for office or meetings. Overall I highly recommend this gem for those who love gourmand Fragrances and looking for an option for warmer weather.

I'll never thought I will fall for Guerlain but yeah. It's a luxurious house with very good and well know perfumes. The classic La petit robe noir EDP is a bit 'cheap' for my taste and a bit expensive for my wallet. The EDT edition is brighter and sharper, (maybe it's because of green apple) following a more soft character of the classic EDP, but Eau Fraiche edition is amazing. I am a gourmandise lover in perfumes and I am so impressed because lately I start liking the 'Eau Fraiche' editions of well known perfumes. (I wish Miss Dior (new) will soon launch something similar to Miss Dior Cherie Eau Fraiche) Every respected house has an edition like this. Chanel, Armani etc. The best for me, at least till now is "La petit robe noir-Eau Fraiche" EDT. It's as soft as it has to be, as green as it has to be, as sweet as it can be for a fresher edition and guys...Oh my God, the pistachio is so 'crunchy' and yummy. Pistachio ice-cream!!! Can't wait to test it on my skin and get the feeling but to be very honest, I am waiting like crazy the newest edition "Ma robe sous le vent" that has cotton candy and blue berries. It must be way simplier compared to other 'robes' but cotton candy from Guerlain sounds like an eye-hearted emoji. <3

A couple of months ago Guerlain treated my sister (she runs a perfume shop) (I know, I have thé best sister in the world) to a sneak preview of this scent. She brought home a scented paper, raving about it. I can't remember a lot of it, except that it was a cold day and that that little piece of paper smelled like the month of May in Heaven. I read in other reviews that it's a cheap selling trick from brands to launch new perfumes under the same umbrella of another perfume. It used to bother me too, untill my sister told me that the brands explain that they do that because registering a totally new name is very very expensive. Launching a variation of an registered name apparently is less expensive so that the brand can use more funds to create a better perfume. I don't know if that is something they tell to sush clients or that it's true. Anyway, since I heard that, it doesn't bother me anymore that brands use and re-use names. I can't wait for Guerlain to create a whole wardrobe of scents, IMO they have struck gold with this green dress, I have room reserved in my collection <3.

This is fresh, flirty and fun--built around the gourmand cherry-almond-rose heart of LPRN. There's more citrus, and a good bit more fresh green than the original, along with a few fun extras, like pistachio. I think I like this better than the original, in fact, due to it's cheery lightness. It reminds me of a spumoni cake served with chilled green tea. It never loses the fresh greenness on my skin, but it does develop a wonderful nutty creaminess as time goes on, along with a light touch of a gorgeous white musk. The nuttiness of this is fun as well, not a roasted nut but a not-quite-ripe pistachio/almond. Fruity floral gourmands are everywhere this decade, but few stand out amidst the mob like this little celadon colored darling. I can see myself wearing this often as the weather warms up. It lasts longer than I thought as well, with the soft, Guerlain style sillage I prefer in my fragrances. ETA: L O effin L, of course it's discontinued. It can be found heavily discounted online as of this writing, though!

What can I say about this new creation of Guerlain? Despite a well known name and some tonka, this has nothing to do with other LPRN flankers. For me it's a completely new scent and a very good one too! Green, Powdery and just a tiny bit sweet is what this creation smells like. Starts too citrussy... All you can smell at the start is that sour aroma of citruses of all kinds. However, it fades quickly and open the way to roses, freesia and jasmine. In the end, this powdery phase is balanced by a hefty dose of patchouli, tonka and yes pistachios giving it a nutty/sweet vibe. The drydown is wonderful and dare I say unique. Performance wise, it lasts, like most Guerlains, a long time. Easily 6 to 10 hours. However, it has a soft projection in the end and tend to stay close to the skin despite a heavy projection earlier on. This edition is very light and bright. Perfect for everyday casual wear of the springtime. A very good job like always. 8/10 And yes... I smelled it!

This is the first and only LPRN flanker that agrees with me. I accidently spilt half a bottle on myself at the store and had to parade for the entire day smelling like an eau fresh to the extreme. Surprisingly, it wasn't bad at all (all other LPRN make me gag. Sorry, Guerlain, I love you to bits but this scent is plain horrific on me). People actually complimented me on the scent, and all in all, I ended up liking it. I got a sample and tried it again today. It's nice. Perfumy, not too sweet, no sickly cherries (I usually love cherries!), yet it's a rather boring scent. My skin doesn't radiate any of the aforementioned pistachios (even though there's a slight "nutty" note in this scent), almonds (blossoms or fruit)or any other dominant note. On me, it's a cute, inoffensive fruity-floral with a nice citrus tang to it. Not FB worthy for me, but still a rather lovely combination, a safe choice for everyday wear.

This smells like a cross between a men's cologne and a women's fresh summery fruity perfume. I wasn't sure I was going to get this based on the opinions that were posted here on the page, but for some reason, I have had it on my want list ever since I came across the whole LPRN line. Since this was a discontinued one I thought why not own it when the price is pretty good as well! I am so glad I did buy it and own it. It is a very fresh scent that is quite androgynous. I feel like it can be worn by men, women or anyone really. This is a very easy breezy perfume to wear in the summer or spring. I didn't think I would like it as much as I thought. It's fresh and also clean but not boring. It's a bit sweet but it's a good balance of sweetness. Definitely a good blind buy! Longevity is so-so, but I don't mind since I do bring my perfume out and top it up during the day anyway!

The scent description is pretty accurate with this one. This perfume is what it's meant to be - an Eau Fraiche to be worn on the hottest, humid days to make one feel fresh and fragrant, but without being overbearing or too sweet, despite the patchouli. "Ma Robe Petales" is definitely different enough from the other flankers, but still related. It opens fresh, light, citrusy and a little green. Honestly, I pick up most of the notes listed. One note I'd like to point that I don't hear mentioned often is the freesia, it's there and plays nicely with the pistachio, almond, and almond blossom. I wouldn't classify this as a gourmand, even though those notes might make it seem like it would be. I'm glad I purchased a large pretty bottle on sale, its gorgeous green juice is now a staple.

I love this eau de toilette! Very delicate like unfolding the petals of a rose! Such beautiful notes that always leave me smelling my wrists after spraying! It's a soft and light scent that is perfect for spring time. Slightly sweet but mainly very fresh, this is the scent I wear when I want to feel pretty! Perfect if you want something subtle that still has great layers. I love the piastachio which I only get once its dried down. I can smell more of the floral and nutty notes more then the citrus. I would say this is very different from la petite robe noire range of bold and sharp notes, I would recommend trying this out if you go past a guerlain counter! The only downside is that it's not very long lastung but it is an EDT! Perfect for a lover of fresh floral scents!

Generally not a huge fan of La Petite Robe Noire line but I do like this one a lot. The opening smells like a powdery lemon sherbet, sweet and juicy lemon candy with fizzy middle. Then the pistachio note comes, almost smells similar to Bvlgari Jade with added lemon. Eventually it dries down with that cough syrup (cherry tea) note, just like the other LPRN scents. Sadly the top notes do not last long, however, while the top notes do last, I love it. Due to its poor longevity I will easily use up my small bottle but not sure if I would consider purchasing this again. My bottle, which by the way is absolutely adorable, came to me in a swap. Overall, this is a nice, easily wearable scent, but the longevity and projection are dire.

Well, I surprised myself over this one. I usually stick to edps but I was sent a free sample and just fell in love with it. My basic gripe with edts is they dont have good longevity. I have had to revise that opinion. This is a gourmand floral delight but not heavy or sickly sweet. Ok, so Im no youngster but this fragrance brightens my mood every time. Its a nutty yet bright and shiny surprise. The citrus notes do their usual brief instant sunshine thing. The sunshine wains a touch and then the nut feast contines with nose tickly freesia, jasmine and neroli. The rose and tonka provide some sweetness. Im no youngster but I wear this. Scratch that, anyone can wear this and enjoy some olfactory sunshine.

This was such a manifestation moment. I had been eyeing it for ages, but it was always out of stock... until one fine day, the universe whispered “last piece at the store” and I snatched it! I had already fallen for the blueberry flanker, but this one? This is fruity, nutty, woody perfection. Like a dreamy almond-pistachio dessert from Ladurée kissed by berries. The pistachio and raspberry truly shine here. It’s whimsical, soft, and sparkling. Im so glad i went for my friends recommendation to blind buy this .... This is true pistachio ice cream to my nose , with some sweet almonds and a slight freshness of light powdery freshness . Absolutely beautiful perfume that smells like springtime . Already discontinued , I miss having a bottle in my collection and it is becoming very scarce online . it came out too early before the huge pistachio boom of the last couple of years. #æ mlIf they had released it now and really promoted the pistachio angle , which wasn't mentioned at the time, they would of had a best seller on their hands. Time for a re- release maybe ? All the pistachio perfumes out at the moment and none of them are a patch on this !!

Great! Another flanker from La Petite Robe Noir line I absolutely love. They must have the formula that pleases my nose! That's what I thought, when I tried this one. I find it similar to the other fragrances from this line. So it's acutally nothing new. But it doesn't matter because it is just simply gorgeous. Mostly I sense aromatic almond, some rose, some tonka bean, some pistachio and some citrus. It's almond, I like the most about this perfume. Sweet, but not cloying. Soapy, but I don't mind. I wouldn't say it's fresh, but compared to other fragrances from this line, this one is closest to fresh.

Really disappointed this was discontinued, needless to say I am clinging on to the last few drops of this fragrance. I originally purchased LPRN Eau Fraiche in Paris in about 2014 and fell in love with it the minute I sampled it in store. I agree with a previous review here that it would have been a much more successful launch had it been released during the peak of the pistachio scent obsession. The pistachio and almond notes are the first to come through along with a subtle sweetness with light florals. Smells like eating a pistachio pastry in a spring garden. An absolutely beautiful spring scent.

Ouh this is gorgeous!!! Although it is discontinued I was lucky to find a big bottle on sale 😊 Never owned any of LPRN but always wanted to and I started with this one. I really love it but the sillage and lasting power are weak 😢 It’s a nice fruity sweet scent, not overly sweet, with lots of pleasant almond and pistachios in it. In the dry down it is a light creamy almond vanilla scent, really lovely and comforting also usable as a cozy bedtime fragrance, which for I used it the most 😊 I find it really suitable for this early spring weather but I’m curious how it will behave in warmer weather too.

Pure heaven, absolute fragrance perfection for my tastes! Of course I would love something discontinued. Well blended but to my nose, soft almond flower, pistachio, slight cherry, tonka bean, and musk. Citrus is very prominent sniffing the atomizer but does not appear on my skin, although I am a citrus fan. Light and clean but good lasting power. Now off to hunt down backup bottles! Update: yea still love this but reserve this for business casual or summer going out events. Prob the most complimented fragrance I've ever owned, even from my children, and we all know kids are savage critics.

I’ve been reaching for this quite a bit because it is a cheerful fragrance. It is not a clean, fresh fragrance which took me off-guard a little. It has a little warmth to the base but it still isn’t heavy so it can be worn during the heat. I say all this and yet it still manages to have a fresh note in it. Perhaps it is better to say it is not a crisp fragrance. It’s only an edt so it does not last long on my skin or project hugely but that’s fine during the hot, humid summer. I like it and glad I got a bottle even if it isn’t ground breaking.

I thought about buying Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato (the bottle itself draws me in!), but after testing in Sephora I was on the fence. Then I realized I already have La Petit Robe Noir Eau Fraiche and it already completely satisfies what I’m looking for in a pistachio forward fragrance. To me this is pistachio ice cream with a medley of fruits in a compote, garnished with fresh fruits and pistachio and almond sprinkles in top, next to a vase of fresh spring flowers. It is perfect!

I don't know if this was what Guerlain were intending with this fragrance, but it reminds me of Tinkerbell! Petal dress and green liquid, when I first heard of this new one, it immediately reminded me of her! Onto the fragrance, it's pistachio ice cream! It smells minty to my nose, with a little sprinkle of orange. The original LPRN is in my top three favourite fragrances of all-time, and Thierry did it again with this stunning little gem!

I had to buy this fragrance after testing it out in Sephora. The first thing that hit me was the pistachio which I loved! It makes it different from many of the perfumes I have. It is very nice for the summer time. And the sprayer is a beast! A little goes a long way for me. This fragrance could have been named something else because it does not resemble the other LPRN scents I have tried.

I reviewed this fragrance before and I still love it. I had not worn it in a long time but after picking up Bath & Body Works' Toasted Praline & Pear lotion it made me want to layer this perfume on top. It worked out perfectly. I originally thought this fragrance was more appropriate for warmer months but it is good for fall too! The pistachio is what makes this scent special to me.

Finally I managed to get my hands on this perfume as it has been discontinued. Completely blind buy but I am pleasantly surprised. It has the original LPRN DNA but it is fresher and perfect for spring/summer. So far 3h longevity which for EDT is good. I love, love, love Guerlain and the LPRN line. Update: 7.5 hours later the scent is still present. Great performance on my skin.

This one is sweet and while maintaining the original DNA, somehow added some 'fresh' notes in here along with the pistachio that I only really get at the opening. I think it is a nice 'easy-reach' when you want to be casual, feminine and put-together. It is a lovely one to have in my collection. It is great and I don't regret getting it.

I was really looking forward to this and finally got a chance to test it today. Unfortunately it was a disappointment, as it was sooooo soft with only about 15 minutes longevity on me. I did get the soft green opening, the leaves and the pistachio (an interesting note) but it was gone way too quickly. So sad, I won't be buying this one.

If Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche is a like, then this is a love for me. It suits my skin chemistry so well and last till the next day. This fragrance is surprisingly not sweet on me at all. All the notes were well balanced, and makes me feel beautiful every time I wear it.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Blind bought it because I was intrigued by the pistachio <3 this lil' petal dressed fella made it to my top 5 fav. It's the one I enjoy the most from the Petite Robe Noire collection :-) so sad it's discontinued.

Beautiful eau fraîche which wispers me la petite robe noire to my nose. I don't know why but I don't get the pistache fragrance. Really subtle but not boring and never see eau fraîche fragrance for me. The green color is not common !

You get a really bright citrusy opening when you spray it first off, then a little while later, it dries down to a nice nutty middle, almond and pistachio standing out the most. Love this perfume!

A beautiful take on a fresh fragrance . I get mostly cherry with the nuttiness of almond and pistachios in the dry down. No florals (yay) . Why do houses always discontinue their best fragrances?!

Cross the original (mainstream) LPRN EdP with Mugler’s Innocent and you’ll have LPRN Eau Fraiche. I don’t have Innocent anymore so I’m working from memory here but it’s uncanny.

OG LPRN with added pistachio n almond Reminiscent of Mon Guerlain EDT/Coco Mademoiselle Smells like a good mom

Sweet, citrus. Lovely for summer

I can imagine being disappointed with LPRN Eau Fraiche (Or Petales? What are we calling this one now??) if you're expecting another famous-Guerlain-style powderbomb with monster sillage along the lines of the Shalimar line/Insolence line. This is something more on the same speed as the Aqua Allegorias. More "natural" smelling, softer, hugs closer to the skin, less powder, etc. It feels to me like another Sephora people-pleaser... which isn't a bad thing, it's good to appeal to every type of demographic. This is one of those flankers that they should have just re-packaged & renamed into it's own line. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Petit Robe Noire selection! The opening consists of a VERY crisp, clean, overly-fresh atmosphere, lots of sweet almond-blossom (If you can recall the note from My Insolence), and a blend of citrus that is marked in the note pyramid as lemon & mandarin - but it boils down to a nondescript citric-sweetness blend that is reminiscent of generic brand shower gel. There is a soapy base that all of the supporting notes sit on top of throughout the life of the scent, all of them fighting to take over the other. None of the notes in the pyramid that generate depth (rose, patchouli, tonka, musk) are detectable at all - the scent stays pretty transparent and "summertime appropriate". In the drydown there is more smoothness and uniformity, but nothing that reels me in. Overall, this scent is enjoyable - it's pleasant (albeit a bit screechy on my skin personally), clean, and has decent longevity for an EDT. I was excited to see Almond blossom in a new scent out on the market - but for me there is not enough body here to warrant a bottle. It's "nice", but doesn't blow me out of the water. Would not peg this blindfolded as a Guerlain scent!

I just applied LPRN Eau Fraiche opposite LPRN Couture -- blind bought both and zero regrets! On my skin, the citrus is what shines...this smells very much like a more complex Chance eau Fraiche. It is light and sparkling, sunny and green, although on my skin I am not getting much pistachio. This is really lovely. It will be hard deciding between the two to decide what to wear for the day! I was wrong about this entire line. No, it isn't a "classic" Guerlain, which I do love and own several, but it is a beautiful line all on its own. I had Chance Eau Fraiche on my want list but LPRN EF is so lovely and checks all the boxes that I see no need for the Chance. Neither the sillage nor projection is strong; wish it was stronger. I will update this review and of the Couture once I've worn them longer. EDIT: Sillage and projection are as expected for an eau de toilette but longevity surprised me. Granted, I was basically shoving my wrist up my nose but I could still detect a lingering scent. I never got the pistachio but I'm not too bummed about that because different notes play out differently on individuals. Saying this is a more complicated Chane Eau Fraiche is not an insult to either fragrance. As I said, I wanted the Chance as well, but this is so perfect for me that I no longer need the Chanel, If I was one of those people who LPRNeF was warm and creamy, or significantly nutty, then I would take the Chance, too. On me, though, LPRNeF is in the same vein --a lovely green citrus floral. I do absolutely love it! Perfect for all occasions and it does well in the heat. EDIT: The weather is a little more mild today and I sprayed it all over. Today, the rose and the fruits are prominent with the "Fraiche" aspect carrying the floral and fruit. So, so good.

I am hoarding my sample of this. I like this one, I really, really, really do. I have tried the other La Petite Robe Noire versions and I do not like the way they "work" on my skin. This one is a delicate green, fresh, almond blossom with just a touch of nutty sweetness. Perfect for warm weather. I agree, the longevity is a problem and for the price asked, I wish it would project more and longer. I would have to refresh-spray every four hours. Then again, I have to remind myself that this is an eau fraiche and therefore it is supposed to be very light. Something about it, though, makes me feel that Guerlain could have done better with this one...I apologize for saying this because it sounds vague and I can't offer suggestions, but as pretty as it is, I feel it was rushed to get it onto the market. That is what is stopping me from buying it, presently. I like this idea and they were onto something with this, but with the notes, it could have been done better. For April Fool's Day, MonsieurGuerlain came up with a "prank" female version of L'Homme Ideal, which he called "La Femme Ideale" complete with a picture of the bottle and a description of notes. I can no longer find it, but he did a great job! I would like to have seen Guerlain compose and offer something like that, for this eau fraiche. I'm not complaining about the price (as I stupidly coughed up too much $$$ for Le Plus Beau Jour de Ma Vie, so what do I know?). I still can't make up my mind if I want to buy this or not. I'm afraid that if I do, something much better will come out that I wish I had waited for. Hmmm. Thanks for letting me ramble with my thoughts.

Petales is a trickster. She is unequivocally a creature of the forest, surpassing jejune and detached 'fairy' status. Instead, she is born from the moss and dirt and instinct that runs true life. Possessor of an immortal smirk. A guilty sort of addiction to her contrarian personality although she is made of all things sweet at the core. It is like wading barefoot through grass - natural and ecstatic yet uncommon and strange in the unforgiving eyes of greater society. You run away to Petales to escape obligation and play with a youthful glow of sweat in the wild green. She is always ready. This is one of two that kickstarted my fragrance journey and I am not going to lie when I say that my like of Petales depends VERILY on the weather. I cannot wear it indoors or controlled climate without getting that sick and sour cherry which presents itself like a layer of day-end sweat. But. In the heat and outside winds I get long sweeps of jammy fruits and wet greens as I believe it was intended. If the nuts were omitted, I would turn my like into a love but their combination with the SHARP, sharp citrus and patchouli is oft stomach-churning. I wish I could always perceive this fragrance as light and fruity and green outside of warm conditions, but my nose betrays me. Petales will always have a place in my heart and the premier spot in my S/S arsenal but she cannot fulfill me truly. A unique scent for young women who are prepared to stand out from the average sweet bouquet. leaves caught in cool spring wind, piquant dried citrus, pebbles tumbled in a shaded stream, faint memories of childhood fruit.

I've been wearing it for two days and so far I'm really liking it! This might even grow into a love. It's fresh but not fleeting, more complex than the average spring citrus scent. The sweetness here is never too much, and I can imagine this harvesting lots of compliments. It's exactly the right balance between fresh and sweet, floral and citrus. It's like those sweet&sour candies I used to love as a child, but not AS sour. This isn't "bathroom spray" citrus, but rather lemon candy citrus. I can't really feel the pistachio note, but I feel like the fragrance needs some time to "settle" after its journey to me. It's beautiful nonetheless. Of course, as many have said before, this doesn't project much and lasts for only a couple of hours (after that it's a soft skin scent). But isn't it perfect for certain occasions? You don't want to wear something overpowering to work (in most cases), to a professional environment, to a more conservative surrounding. Even I, as someone who loves everything Mugler, sometimes need my days off. I sometimes crave something light and cheerful (though not boring). This green delight is exactly that for me. Light and cheerful, but never boring. I'm really enjoying this.

you should never no blind buys... unless you find an almost full bottle of Guerlain from your local thrift store for 10€ - lucky me! not gonna lie, I was surprised when I came in here to check the notes, main accords and comments. I can't understand how people get sweet-fruity-nutty-cherry from this. sweet pistachio ice cream? no way. in my nose, this scent is more of a floral patchouli. however, there is something exciting, even weird about Eau Fraiche. it's very complex, which I like. it's kind of spicy, but then again very fresh. oh, some sweetness - is that the cherry? or are the citruses creeping in? jasmine? vanilla? pistachio? no clue what's going on. not sure of the vibes either. this could be a rich lady judging everyone in the opera with her pearls or a hippie couple visiting a freaky art show while wearing the same perfume. but still... it's almost giving Chanel - I feel very classy when I put this on. will continue to explore with this since sometimes it's good to have a little adventure!

LPRN eau Fraiche is a lighter, breezier take on Guerlain's iconic La Petite Robe Noire DNA, this is most definitely the spring/summer version of the classic. This opens with a sparkling mix of bergamot and juicy red fruits (predominantly cherry to my nose), softened by fresh green notes (almond blossom and green pistachio), before settling into a delicate heart of rose and tea with a hint of cherry blossom. The drydown is clean and comforting, with soft vanilla, tonka, musk, and a subtle touch of licorice lingering on the skin. Performance is moderate, lasting around 5-6 hours (which is quite satisfactory for an EDT formulation) with a soft, close-to-skin projection that makes it perfect for warm weather. Compared to the richer, sweeter EDP, eau Fraiche is much lighter, fresher, and more transparent- less dessert-like and more like a refreshing iced tea version of the original. Overall its an easy, elegant everyday scent for spring and summer -effortless, feminine, and quietly chic.

Opens fresh and green, but soon changes into something sweeter. I smell citrus notes like bergamot, orange, but also a hint of orange blossom. I smell white musk as well. Then rose appears, together with heavier woody notes. The musk gets quite strong. The drydown is a strong musk with hints of woody notes and lots and a citrus fruit sorbet on top, mixed with a few rose petals. Longevity is weak to moderate (about 3 hours on my skin) and sillage is moderate while it lasted. Quite a delicate mix of fruit and flowers, I like it better than the "regular" petite robe noire because of the citrus fruits instead of the red fruits. Even though this is probably equally sweet I like the oranges better. I don't get any pistachios, almonds or a very distinct jasmine in there. I think this is a fresh scent for spring or summer, uncomplicated and maybe even a bit girly. But you know how it works-- girls, they wanna have fun, and this scent will do that trick quite well.

Ooh I like this. Quite a lot. The citrus green vibe isn't overwhelming nor too screechy as in say, Chance Eau Fraiche. This leans in that direction but it's a delicious, much more interesting version of it. Where the other is crisp and sharp, this is crisp with warmth, which I didn't expect. There's a definite fruitiness which comes across as pear. I pick out rose pretty strongly as well as jasmine. Pistachio wouldn't have been my first guess if I didn't know, but I can sort of imagine melted pistachio ice cream in there. And almond blossom! As it dries down it keeps the sporty freshness but stays creamy at the same time. I'm really really liking this and the way it develops. Not my usual sort of grab but I'm trying to be less restrictive with my choices these days. I'll put this on my list and see if I don't end up with a bottle eventually. Honestly I really wanted to my summertime fragrance for Chanel Chance (the green one) but when I saw this I tried it... It's so different from other summertime perfumes, but before I bought it I checked the comments here. I saw that many people are dissapointed (I can't understand them, but I respect others' opinion) and I red also that many people had problems with it's longetivity. So today before buying it I tried it on my left wrist, and I tried Chance on my right one. Sometimes it's almost similar to Chance but then it changes and it seems like a sweet-fruity, cooling summertime sweet. My wrist doesn't retain well the scents but after 8 hours and 30 minutes I still feel it (and it's so cold and windy today here, so can't wait to test it in a hot day). Anyway, I feel it much-much better than Chance... So if you belive that a good perfume is your own signature and you like fresh perfumes I'm sure that you will love it!

On me, cherry and lemon are the most prominent note of this Eau Fraîche version of La Petite Robe Noire, and it stays throughout the whole development. Initially, I could also smell the nutty, powdery almond and white musk, with tiny whiffs of pistachio. However, they seem to subside during the drydown on my skin, while still remain quite perceivable on the strip. The sillage is relatively soft and the longevity is around 9 hours. This Eau Fraîche version does smell less intense than the original LPRN, but still retains the powdery texture of the original. It feels pastel in colour, rather than sparkly as the candy-like EDT version. I doubt it would perform well in a really hot summer day, but I think it's very lovely and wearable for spring and autumn.

On a hot and sticky 93 degree day, LPRN eau fraiche EDT opens with a sprite citrus note but quickly settles into a semi-sweet and smooth berry, floral fragrance. It is quite pleasant, refreshing and lovely on this hot day. This is only suited to summer for me. I am not very familiar with pistachio so I could not comment on that note. If that is the smooth creaminess near the opening, then it's lovely. I cannot smell the rose but the berries are definitely present in the drydown. This does not smell like a very complex fragrance but looking at the notes, I guess that's the genius of it. Longevity is above average on clothing. Not much projection. A good summer freshie.
