cher mais si plaisant, la quintessence de la petite robe noire, j'ai adoré l'extrait car tenue impeccable et sillage très bien, sent comme le parfum mais amande plus prononcée je trouve; excellent parfum

12. november 2012 I would like to review this fragrance since i have tried it today in the shop and wearing now. Actually i have EDT on my left hand and Extract on my right wrist. Well, this is quite different form EDP and EDT. My opinion is that EDT is a complete waste of money, it ́s sour and very watery and has no lasting power. Itś been a 3 hrs now and i can hardly smell it on my left hand. Now parfum is something different! This is all about cherry!!! Very intesnse cherry note, like a cherry liquour! Blast of the fruit notes and licorice, but still THE most dominanting note here IS cherry! It is quite heavy, that ́s why i agree with those ones who voted that this version is suitable for colder time of the year, preferably winter. Now thisis the one i really like! Guerlain, you can discontinue EDT right away, i am not gonna spend any dime on this less than ordinary scent. I don ́t even want to go for EDP now, all i want is this parfum only. And preferrably not the small 7,5 size, but the tester 30ml size!. It has a great sillage and colder weather just makes it bloom even more. After 3 hrs it still goes strong and only after 1 spray! Yes, there is vanilla, yes, i can detect the tea note, yes, there is a patchouli, but i repeat, this version is mostly about CHERRY! Fruity cherry! Oh, by the way! There is a lemon note and it ́s fizzy! It ads a fantastic accord to the cherry and saves this one from becoming a headache provoking fragrance. Now this time Guerlian did a good job! :) UPDATE: Well, since it is a PARFUM concentration, i suppose it should last longer than it does actually. Some vintage EDT or EDC last as long as this one or some even longer time. After 6 hrs it has dissapeared. So now i am dissapointed with the lasitng power. I like my perfumes to last, especially in "extract" form. That ́s the biggest minus of this version, though it still alsts longer than any other version of "PRN".

L'Extrait for me similar as first Lolita Lempika's apple. Have both of them. Same notes, same mood...

I bought this in a sample size as someone excited for licorice, cherry, and almond. As someone who loved hypnotic poison, modern muse le rouge gloss, Miss Dior Chérie, and Prada candy gloss I felt like it may be a hit! I bought a sample Along with Lolita Lempicka. I feel like if you like Lempicka this may with with you! This felt too rich and syrupy for me. I love dark and I like sweet, but this was too much of both for me personally. Scents I’d say this sweetness / darkness could be comparable to would be black opium.

I am unable to explain exactly why, but La petite robe noire L'extrait reminds me of... dare I say it... L'heure bleu? I recall that when Insolence first launched many perceived that it evoked L'heure bleue. I don't know about such things, but I've often wondered if Insolence's advertising campaign caused some of the disappointed reaction to the scent of Insolence. The actual smell of Guerlain Insolence was ill-matched for someone who wanted to reek of brazenness and and audacity, of which Hilary Swank was used as the representational embodiment... I do find the marketing for and presentation of La Petite Noire far more appealing, because it embodies the magical elements of perfume: the liquid becomes part of the person wearing it, while the bottle represents every woman's fragrant and stylish fantasies. The idea of it is not presupposed or imposed, like a costume, upon the wearer. I find it wonderful that such an interesting fragrance, at last, has captured the love of a new generation of women who, after experiencing what it's like to wear a finely crafted, artistic perfume, will be disenchanted with the seemingly endless, repetitive pedestrian new launches cast upon us. La Petite Robe Noire has made perfume special again. It is both charming and haunting.

I am loving this gift hun! I recieved this as an unexpected gift from a close buddy who knew my tastes and though it does resemble Lolita Lempika, I find that this one has the 'oomph' factor I crave for in my fragrances. The bottle is simply lovely and feminine (he said it reminded him of me :D) and the juice is pure cherry nectar! I detect licorice most as it literally sings on my skin so sweetly ♥ The gourmand notes of sweet fruit, fresh citruses and creamy almonds blend in so well with the Rose in this lovely! Sugared violets add mystery and depth while the vanilla-musk lingers ever so enticingly on me and my clothes. The tea note is faint to me (a good thing) . This is all about marschino cherries , almonds and musky florals. Sophisticated yet demure. Great sillage and longevity which I rarely find. This perfume makes me feel happy when I spritz it on and is ever so often complimented! Jack-pot!!! It has the magical effect of making me feel poised, elegant and seductive all at once. A Keeper!!! This is my day to day perfume and the only fruit perfume I've ever liked enough to buy. Too many fruity scents just seem empty, but this rich black beauty is complex and nuanced.

No, EDP is much brighter, juicier, more expressive. Quite dull smell to me like dried cherries, dried fruit, in itself is not heard. EDP compared with the spirits they are great.

It smells like my Insolence EDP add with cherry notes. I was sad at first of our Guerlain want to stop bring in Insolence, but now LPRN extrait is the one I want!.

distgusting and cheap! i can't stand this yucky scent by guerlain!!!!! shame on you!
