La Petite Robe Noire Mon Eau de Lingerie

Yep this is lovely. I just got a sample so I’m wearing it rather than spraying it in my linen drawer but again this is a very nice cherry scent. It is perfect for the lingerie drawer. And the closet.

I think I got this as a sample on a Guerlain sampler #3 and#5 from "The Pleasure Scenter", a great ebay and etsy seller who closed up shop in early 2022 I think. While I generally like or love Guerlain, this one is ok to maybe a like, maybe bc it's so feminine...it is after all a "Lingerie Mist". A powdery, floral rose. Hints of cherry and patchouli. It's nice and natural, but just not my type. The patchouli rose combo reminds me of something else, but I just can't put my finger on it. I think possibly one of the Chanel Les Eaux Paris-Venise? Scent: 6.5 / Sillage: 7 / Longevity: 6.5

I bought this on ebay for 50 bucks. I have the original Petite Robe Noire and went through several of them including reformulations. I don't know why people made fun of this fragrance. Why is it "wrong" for Guerlain to make perfume to scent your lingerie with when Victoria's Secret and Agent Provocateur do that all the time. Of course we think of "serious" scents like Shalimar L'Heure Chamade etc but that doesn't mean a gal can't take her lingerie seriously. I take my lingerie very seriously! And I love to smell good in lingerie. So this is a lovely sweet cherry scent, easy to wear, soft and subtle. It has an opening of sour cherry, a bit like a cherry soda or Dr Pepper with some spice thrown into it but sweetened by the rose notes. There are 2 roses here: Bulgarian rose and Turkish rose. In the middle stage it turns into a pure rose scent. Then it dries down green patchouli and tea, aromatic, herbal, just a pleasant tea. It's really nice. I like to spritz this on my lingerie. I'm serious about how I smell when I go to bed and how I smell when I get out of bed in the morning.

Well Well LVMH /GUERLAIN need some more money...eau de lingerie...! What s next ? La petite Robe Noire eau pour les chaussures / for the shoes? ...for the linen basket..?...
