La Petite Robe Noire Plissée

Berta15 I don't understand when you had it, because this is new fragrance and it will come out in June 2019 :O and now we have only May :) Personally I'm curious. I really love Couture edition, Black Perfecto and now I would like to buy Velours.

To me this smells nearly identical to the LPRN Eau Fraiche! I have both and they seem barely distinguishable.

Great cherry with a hint of green. Lasts pretty good for a EDT. I love wearing this!

Another La Petite Robe Noire flanker that is very close to the original, but this time, it's a little lighter and fresher. I was curious for this because of the apricot note, which I imagined to be a nice addition to the LPRN scent profile - and it is. To my nose it smells more like a fresh white peach than an apricot, but who cares - I love both fruits. Unfortunately the apricot could have been stronger, after a while it gets drowned out by the familiar cherry DNA we know from other perfumes in this line. The same goes for the musk. It's beautiful in this, somewhat reminiscent of Guerlain's own Idylle, but can't stand up to the cherry-almond, rose and patchouli notes. All the fresh and clean aspects of the fragrance get smothered in powdery sweetness. The overall scent is not as heavy as the EDP, Nectar, Couture or Intense versions of LPRN, but I think it would have benefited from more fresh and delicate notes. If the peach/apricot and the clean musk were a little more pronounced, this would have been an interesting flanker that filled a gap in the LPRN collection. But the way it is, it's a pretty and enjoyable scent that feels a little redundant next to all the other little black dresses. I still like it, but it wouldn't be my first choice from this line.

Tuned down version of the original EDP. Nice, more gentle, less sweet. I did not really get the apricot, but strangely a hint of licorice instead. Soft sillage, good for office/school environment, longevity is rather EDC. If you liked the concept of the EDP but scared of its power as you like more tender ones, you might like this one. I fully agree with Gellert77 that the Robe Velours flanker was a much better twist, even for a summer edition. That one has better character, creativity in it. This one smells a bit as a commercial or EDC edition.

La petite robe noire plissée by Guerlain. An apricot-rose fragrance for little kind girls with good grades. The longevity is weak and the sillage is quite soft. For all seasons, under 18 yo.

Looking at all these "dresses" at the counter, I can never understand where's the new one or old one, they all look the same, and this pink juice as well. It makes me sick. And bored. I wish they could all disappear. All at once.

Had it, Nothing special,it's smell very similar to EDT and Eau Fraiche with some elderflower note in it(not listed ,I smell it) It's very sharp,citrusy,fresh but fruity and green and floral.All in One. Typical LPRN green sharp almond note,with earthy patchouli,and with a lot of cherry,def.there is NO apricot. Sadly a version that is absolutely unnecessary,nothing new,nothing that WOWS me,I'm so sad because I was almost the fist who haved it,but it's not for me(sad face) The dry down is sweet powdery and almondy with some patchouli for the depth. The longevity and sillage is amazing,last all day and night.

@Misa-huha Some people have a chance get news far earlier,especially if they work in the perfume industry(like me),if you'r a blogger,a beauty magazine editor,photographer etc. Check out on Instagram: bens_perfumes - he has it too,he was almost the first who got this version (in end of March) I got it as a promotion gift,YES it come out in June ,but the perfume is already exist just not released until a special date or year.There are a lot more new perfumes which you can ever imagine

so i had to chuckle at mshilovs response down below.......i have to agree (except for the getting rid of them lol ) i just got this perfume today & i was like ok same scent different dress lol one has to admit it is rather confusing at times lol......you cant keep up with which bottle is which & i have them all lol.....and im sorry but they all smell pretty much the same too............so i agree with mshilov that honestly it is kind of confusing knowing which one is new & which one is old lol and to embarrass myself further due to the confusion i have doubles & triples of some of them - which ones u ask lol - i have no idea - but doesnt matter cuz they all smell the same pretty much :) sometimes i wonder if this was the actual point guerlain was trying to make with this line ha ha ha well saying all i said i doesnt mean i dont like the scent - of coarse i do & of coarse i love the bottles with all the cute dresses but maybe guerlain should take a tip from marc jacobs & do what they do for the daisy line (yup i have all of them too but at least i can tell whats what lol ) & make each new scent/bottle a different color with dresses that dont look similar lol & i mean each new scent - they did do a blue & a green but then gave up & the majority of the bottles all look the same & the dresses all too similar lol

This is obviously meant as a new summer option for those who love the LPRN series. It is a very light scent, considering most in the LPRN series have a strong sillage and an impressive longevity. In this sense it reminds me of the discontinued LPRN Ma robe petales (the green bottle). Also because the cherry note (that is the clou of the whole series) is quite faint. On the other hand the almond note (another main ingredient of the series) is very prominent and makes this a recognizable LPRN scent. What is new, is the abricot (to me a peach) note, that you get at the first spray. I associate abricot/peach very much with the nineties scent world, so I found it very interesting that it's making a comeback with one of the big perfume houses. Personally, within this series, I think that the earlier release from this year, LPRN Ma robe velours, is a better twist on the LPRN theme, but if you love the series, maybe collect the bottles and/or, especially, tend to have a heavy hand when it comes to (over)spraying your perfume, then this is for you.

Ugh. When are guerlain going to stop with the LPRN flankers!!?? It's getting ridiculous. Such a lack of imagination! I'm hoping a backlash against multiple flankers takes off...

Have a 30ml bottle to swap/sell. It's a lovely fragrance, with the apricot and almond really coming through. Please PM! X

Let's see if Wasser can finally create something that is worthy of the Guerlain logo. I doubt.
