La Petite Robe Noire Rose Cherry

Went to purchase this in my 2023 Paris trip, didn’t know it’s a Paris exclusive, bought it blindly because I want sth exclusively just for Paris hahha. Sprayed this yesterday it’s surprisingly good! I have the edt version as well, found it too sharp and too shampooy like for my taste still like it but not a love. But this rose cherry version is a love for me! It’s an aquatic version of LPRN the rose is aquatic and fresh maybe because of the white tea note I think? As an Asian I always have no idea what a actual cherry blossom smells like, went to Japan for a lot of times, when I was having their cherry blood flavored stuff have no idea what it actually tastes like. Ok back to the point, I think the cherry blossom in this version brings up a spring summer freshie feelings while the edp version is more intense and powdery rosy like. As I have no chance to test the freshie version, this is the freshest version in LPRN IMO

La Petite Robe Noire Rose Cherry Guerlain: I found this fragrance to be really enjoyable - it's surprisingly good! I didn't think it was very similar to the original EdP or even to my favorite, the EdT. It's quite different from the other LPRN versions. The cherry note is surprisingly fresh and aquatic on my skin and my nose. I really enjoy the blend of rose and cherry notes. It also has great sillage, and you can sense the refined Guerlain DNA here. Fragrancenet has this perfume at a great price! Robe Noire Rose 🍒combined with a drop of Cherry Ambition (I just own the travel spray) from The 7 Virtues, just in the right places. My first Guerlain Bottle. First impression, the best sweet cherry rose I smelled so far! Kinda smells like shampoo but not so loud. Not nauseating and can be worn on lively day. Dries down to a mild powdery floral musk.

Finally made it to Paris and was able to buy LPRN Rose Cherry. I don't see it so similar to the original EdP or even to my favorite, the EdT. Rose Cherry is surprisingly aquatic and fresh in my skin and to my nose. I get the white tea, the musk and a bit of cherry. I don't know where I get the fresh aquatic note from (the tea?). As it dries down I get the rose. Very different to the other LPRN versions, in a blind smell I could not have identify it as belonging to this collection and I own (and love) several of them.

très très léger, note de thé prédominante, conviendrait bien à celles qui n'aiment pas les parfums forts, odeur très volatile et légère, presque aucune tenue. passe inaperçu et donc pas dérangeant, convient à tout âge. cher pour un parfum qui ne se fait pas remarquer

Oh, where are those days when the La Petite Robe Noire flankers were different enough, so that I actually acquired them? I am especially thinking of the Eau Fraîche, Black Perfecto and Couture flankers. Now, Rose Cherry smells extremely similar to the original EdT. The opening is dominated by a watery and sour cherry note, supported by tea. The roses are also there, somehow grounding the otherwise very airy notes. A few hours later, once dried down, the fragrance has gotten sweeter, but the smell is very artificial. I almost do not dare to say it, but it smells like a waterproofing spray for shoes or clothes to me. I believe that the fresh musk together with the sour cherry note give me that unfavorable impression.

La Petite Robe Rose Cherry is a delightful fragrance, with its charming cherry notes adding a playful touch. It's light enough for daytime wear - sweet yet fresh and never overpowering. Its only drawback is its very short longevity, as it tends to fade after a few minutes from the application

Just received a sample of this perfume. It is basically a sharper/fresher version of the original La Petite Robe Noire. Those expecting an all round sweet perfume will be disappointed, but the original DNA is still there.

Very musky, transparent and light - definitely not my cup of tea. It smells throughout like a diluted version of the dry-down of the original La Petite Robe Noire, which was always my least favourite part of the scent. I wish they could come out with a more intense flanker, with richer and stronger cherry and/or almond notes, instead of making muskier weaker flankers, but that's just my taste and personal preference :-)

I quite like this one. Comparisons to previous flankers are not really necessary, as, yes, this has the LPRN DNA, but it is light, fresh, with a lightly aquatic impression, probably from the cherry blossom, and I find the tea note more pronounced because it isn't overwhelmed with the stronger notes in other flankers. It dries down slightly musky-powdery. Overall, I find it quite enjoyable. It is nothing like the LPRN edt, which has a distinct berry-apple note in it, and is somewhat greener, not aquatic at all to my nose. I normally don't like watery/aquatic notes in my perfumes because they tend to turn wrong on me, but this one is wearing quite nicely. I'll be enjoying this one all throughout spring and summer, for certain, along with other summer ones such as Eau Fraiche and Plissée.

More cherry and less LPRN. I mean it has the LPRN essence but slightly diluted. It is really pretty, it feels a bit more transparent and sparkly, and the cherry is not subdued by the rose. The longevity is really poor with this flanker. I like it and probably would get a bottle for my work (I mostly use aqua allegoria and other EDTs for my work since I work in the medical field, I prefer very soft and evanescent scents for that environment) It is as lovely as usual, just more cherry and water!!!

Such a nice flanker! That's for people thinking that the original one is too heavy. You recognize the La Petite Robe Noire DNA but this is different. It's light, fresh, slightly aquatic. The cherry blossom/white tea/white musk notes are amazing, such a good combination, with the unique Guerlain vanilla. I much prefer the cherry in this one because it's water cherry, no sour cherry. Light and airy. Agree with the reviews which use the term “aquatic”. It’s a soft, sweet, gentle watery rose and cherry with the teeniest bit of powder. If you like Guerlain My Insolence and Valentino Donna Acqua, you will probably enjoy this. It’s a bit lighter in feel than either but certainly in the same family.

I just returned from two weeks in France. I tried this in a store there and was very impressed. I like these rose and cherry notes together. It had great sillage. I would buy this if it gets to the states. I heard this line does not sell well in the U.S. but I cannot understand why not? Guerlain is a fine house.
