I had tried it just once and that single test was enough for me to choose love bottom on top of this page."Love by Kilian" is my top 1st favourite perfume and "Guerlain Le Bouquet de la Mariee" is like Love by Kilian's more floral,a bit less gourmand sweet,lighter,more innocent sister.if LBDLM is a bride in her white gown,Love by Kilian is the same girl in a little black dress in her honeymoon it's all about a super feminine,soft and sweet,candied orange flower-a touch of rose in a bed of fluffy,marshmallowy almondy vanilla and yes,there's a hint of musk,giving it a sheer,clean undertone.I agree that it's not unique of complex,other notes didn't show up on me(but maybe they would unfold if I could test it again properly)but this doesn't make it any less beautiful.Le Bouquet de la Mariee is stunningly beautiful IMO,romantic and sensual,as if my dream's bridal perfume has come to life.and I LOVE that bottle.the day I tested it,I could smell it on myself for hours,not as strong as LBK,still pretty long lasting and well projecting.it's also less expensive than LBK,at least in my country and has 2.5 more volume.anyone I can't afford any of them right now but if I can in future,I have to test it once more to decide whether I'd be better repurchase LBK or buy this one but more than that,I wish to find an affordable dupe

@Pravda48, This scent, Le Bouquet de la Mariee, is parfum eaxtrait strength. Which goes some way to explaining the price. 125ml of extrait should probably last you a lifetime , and when you do the cost/ml breakdown it works out not at all dissimilar to other extraits, in EU this retails at 750Euro I believe, which works out at 6Euro/ml. By contrast, the 30ml extrait of L'heure bleue, at 291Euro, actually works out at 9.70Euro/ml. Of course, it is a massive intital outlay, but I found it interesting to crunch the numbers. You may also be pleased to know that there is an EDP version of this scent, called La Plus Beau Jour de ma Vie, which was released at the same time. The scent is very very similar, although the extrait of course has some better longevity. The EDP retails at 200Euro for 6oml. Still pricey, but more affordable. As to the many comments I have seen here and elsewhere regarding the apparently phallic nature of the stopper; I have to admit, I am not getting phallus when I look. Maybe I am looking at it wrong. Although if it DID resemble a phallus in real life, I guess it is still in keeping with the whole traditional marriage customs and rituals in the sense of it representing fertility for the happy couple?!

Oh wow! I sampled this at the Guerlain store at Epcot this year. Of course that and Rose Barbara were my final choice and there was no way I was going to spend $1k. My husband told me this morning right as I was unwrapping he took a picture. The whole presentation and the scent is amazing. I dabbed it on 4 hours ago and it’s still going strong. In such a warm, sensual and beautiful scent. Just amazing. I’ve gotten quite a few bottles of Guerlain but this year, a Guerlain agent contacted my husband after ordering from Neimansand included with my perfume, she included Forêt de Sumatra, 3.3 oz home spray plus a ton of samples. He told her how much I love Guerlain . She was very happy to hear and wanted to give more. Supposedly, there are more goodies on the way. At least they piled in extras. I just love this scent though and will treasure it. It really is a stunner.

Dear Xrayer, thank you for this exquisite sample. I fell in love at first sniff of this one. It is warm, sweet but in a delicate gourmande dessert way, enveloping and quite simply divine. I just love it. Not very descriptive, I know - maybe the words will come later. I do want this in my collection but after seeing the price, I guess that will never happen! I feel so lucky to have this beautiful sample, thank you so much my friend ❤️

This is less than found on Ebay this morning and of course places where it is $1,000.00 I adore this scent and can feel like a new Spring bride any time I choose!

Absolutely Shimmering, luscious, candied almonds with powdered wedding cookies and the most delectable Orange blossom and vanilla. Definitely a great wedding day fragrance, but for really any special occasion it would be fabulous. This is a new Love for me....Hope we stay on our honeymoon Forever!

I wanted to sniff this for so long and then recently I was able to score a sample and I'm so glad I never blind-bought it (I mean, it's way too expensive for that anyway). At first, I thought, wow this is really familiar...and it's not knocking my socks off. I put this on about 15 minutes ago now and these are my current thoughts: This is sneeze-inducing. The orange blossom is sharp and green, the citrus is sour, and the patchouli is very prominent (some patches are fine but others are very sneeze-inducing for me, as in the OG Coco Mad which I cannot stand). The almond is bitter. I smell no vanilla, no rose. The pepper and incense and patch are just...too, too much. Maybe this is made for whatever the ultimate dry-down ends up being, but right now I'm just not willing to wait around. Scrubber :-( EDIT: Okay, I figured out what this reminds me of: Si Fiori. HOWEVER, I really like Si Fiori. It's the white flower/citrus/rose/patchouli/musk combo that they must have in common...except Si Fiori has a much more prominent vanilla, and I think it just serves to smooth it out more. The other thing it reminds me of is Guerlain L'Instant, specifically L'Instant Magic, which I own. That one has more prominent almond, but that one isn't as bitter as in Le Bouquet.

"This is an extrait de parfum and that's why they're asking you 1000$ for a 125ml bottle." Sweety, there could be pure orris exract in this bottle and that wouldn't excuse such a price tag. The fact that indeed this bottle does not contain anything more than a run of the mill, indigestible vanillic-patchouli gourmand only makes things worse. Guerlain is seriously devaluing itself by pulling stunts like this. Trying to ride tired trends (the gourmand was ubiquitous by the year 2000), relying on gimmicks (use this perfume for your wedding!) and cheapening their aesthetics by changing all their bottles (ecology my ass...) I'll admit it, I spend a lot on perfumes. But I'll be damned if I let a multimillion dollar company make a fool of perfume aficionados.

I find the name limiting, like Lanvin Marry Me, Rosine Vive la Mariee, and any other fragrance specific to engagement/wedding themes. This is marketed for women only, and its marketing brings to mind a stereotypical young bride wearing a white gown...I instantly thought of Paulina Porizkova, in vintage Estee Lauder Beautiful ads, wearing a fluffy, frilly white gown, with huge, puffy sleeves, and all the other white-veiled "brides" in Beautiful ads over the years. (Original Beautiful was an incredible fragrance. My memories of it bring forth no connotation with weddings, or handfastings, or Nangchang...Beautiful was carefree and resiliant...and the fragrance ads never would have sold it to me.) The edp of Le Bouquet de la Mariee, Le Plus Beau Jour de Ma Vie, claims this is the scent of the most beautiful day of life. I find that name more appealing, because it allows for personalization. It could remind someone of a wedding, having babies, anniversaries, or absolutely anything else. Anyways, of course I want to smell it. It's a Guerlain!

Well, from 1st go of a sample, I thought it was a cousin (although smoother/creamier, less crystallized in the sweetness) of Malone's Intense Rose water & Vanilla, very lovely. I added it absent mindedly to my want list because it was potent, beautiful,and sweet. Fast forward to today, where on Guerlain's site I noticed it sells for $1000 for 125ml!! Immediately taken off the want list. C'mon guys, that's just... insane! And, the lid looks like the head of another shape we as adults are probably familiar with. What kind of odd gimmick is this? Between the price, the wedding theme, and the *ahem* odd top adornment, I'm at a loss for what exactly Guerlain was thinking.

I just received a sample from ebay. I really think I have never smelled anything so delicious. Imagine a mix of praline dragees (French almonds for weddings) and flowers. It is very elegant and does not smell like a cheap gourmand at all. I would have to get a second opinion, however, because I don't know how well it mixes with my chemistry. It is very inviting and somehow reminds me of Tobacco Vanille (strange comparison, I know). I am getting married next year and I would like to wear this. If anyone of you wants to sell the rest of their bottle or have a tester bottle, please let me know... I would like to purchase it or trade it.

It is stunning, sweet, candy, almond with earthiness from the patchouli and smokiness from the raw vanilla. Of course... it now costs half a car on the secondary market but good news is: it is super close to Eau Tulle- if you compare the notes only one note is different. Eau Tulle is to my nose the same scent, just a bit weaker in performance. Still very good for edt. But for the price of the old one you can buy 6 of the new one. Also very close to LPDMJV which is also available in the Paris boutique in bee bottles and even in the OG costs three times less than BM. I also want the gorgeous bottle one day, when I am suddenly rich 😄

Absolutely the most perfectly balanced sweet creamy powdered floral scent that I could live in forever. Guerlain does gourmands better than anyone, and my previous fave (gourmand coquin) was thankfully brought back. But Bouquet de la mariee goes way beyond as the most perfect fragrance I have ever encountered. For those looking to purchase it, I got mine on my wedding anniversary on the second floor of the main Guerlain on Champs Elysee in Paris. I think that may be one of the only places to find it, but frankly worth the trip. Only drawback is I wish it was a bit stronger for the price.

Got this one today as a gift for Christmas! Spectacular presentation and perfume, never before seen something so precious! The bottle is a piece of art, with the white roses round the neck. The smell is pure holidays, like when you walk inside a candle store or a exotic garden. I get a lot of notes from the first spray! Cinnamon , roses, orange blossom, apples! Smell like fresh baked sugar cookies on Christmas Day morning!

This perfume is $1000? wow it certainly doesn't smell like that. To me it's a simple vanilla overload, with some almond, and the orange blossom here clashes with the creamier notes giving a feeling of the fragrance being curdled. There is a sourness to it also and it smells like many other fragrances on the market that have a pink liquid. It's a fail for me, and $1000 dollars. Sorry Guerlain but that's just outrageous!

I can’t say how beautiful this is. I smelled it in Bangkok (unfortunately it wasn’t available) and I had to track a bottle down. It reminds me of Imagine but is more addictive (Imagine is also in my top ten). I will treasure my 30 ml bottle.

Eau de Tulle is an edp. Has great projection + longevity. Once you spray it a few times and it sits for a few weeks. The notes for this and Tulle are the same. Candied almonds, jordan almonds & dragees are all one in the same.

This is a lovely bottle! This is one perfume I'll never own because of the price. The only way I could justify this price is to have only one perfume, a signature scent. It's too late for me! I'm jealous...
