While this is definitely smoother, more lush, and more rounded than Parfum du 68 EDP, it is not as different as the EDT and EDP concentrations of classic Guerlains and their parfums (Shalimar, Jicky, Apres l'Ondee, etc.). I would definitely prefer to wear this than the EDP of Parfum du 68. It has that scent's nods to "classic Guerlain"--heliotrope, coumarin, and herbs--but with less emphasis on some of the synthetic woody aromachemicals in the scent like Iso E Super and its ilk. The clear scent of immortelle is also much stronger in this scent and the citrus notes feel more rounded. That said, the fancy bottle markup is astronomical and unattainable for most. So grateful for a generous provider of the sample I smelled.

For those who want to compare with the cologne 68 you can have that chance. Because the is the Eau de parfum 68 that is available on the market. For sure that it won't be as concentrated as the extract in the baccarat bottle. I tested the two and the smell of the eau de parfum is more delicate and regular because there is not 68 ingredients like in the cologne 68. The orange blossom and mandarine is what stayed on my skin in this one.
