Mon Guerlain Sensuelle

So mind you I have never owned the original Mon Guerlain. I bought Mon Exclusif first and loved it so much I wanted to try Mon Guerlain Sensuelle as a back up to see how close it is to ME knowing it's discontinued and I would love to have something similar to it I can repurchase. I must agree with Aria in the sense that they are almost identical. The only difference between the two is that with Mon Exclusif you get allot more Iris so it's a bit more powdery to me..a bit more toffee and butter..and more tonka.. but honestly they almost smell identical..the toffee and butter is questionable..yes they seem like they are both the same. The main factor is Mon Exclusif is a bit denser in sweetness and with Iris than Mon Guerlain Eau Sensuelle. Iris always can come off like a lipstick, make-up note that is thick and fuzzy in texture in the fragrance. Surprisingly, both of these Guerlain's when they dry down remind me a bit of Flowerbomb with the citrus, iris, vanilla floral combo..it has a certain freshness but with the Guerlainaid style. I do love ME more than MGS, but because they are so similar I wouldn't miss out on ME if I could no longer find it I would continue to buy MGS. If the reason that ME is denser than MGS is because of the butter and toffee notes on top of the Iris that would explain it, but as it dries down MGS is just a lighter, not as dense version of ME that becomes almost identical in scent. You get the citrus, iris, tonka, lavender, vanilla. And let me tell you I mixed ME with Mugler Angel Muse Edp..my goodness do those two layer well together..if you love both those fragrances try it! Mon Guerlain Sensuelle is a lighter closer to the skin fragrance. So is Mon Exclusif. But boy do I love them. They both have average longevity..4-6 hours and longer on skin with Mon Guerlain Sensuelle lasting probably an hour or so less because it's not as dense as Mon Exclusif. Why Guerlain stopped making ME is beyond me but I do want to try now either the original Mon Gueralin & the Intense version. I may just go with the original first because I hear it's allot more denser. When I have all of them I will let you know which would be the best to get out of them all but so far I'm really loving Mon Exclusif cause with that one sometimes I also just get that tonka note I smell from Tonka Imperial and it's really nice to smell that too. If you can't afford Mon Exclusif or have access to it you would be more than happy with Mon Gueralin Sensuelle because the differences are so minor and Sensuelle is more affordable.

This is so so good. It's a shame it's not sold in stores worldwide, really. It's sweeter and more comforting than the original MG. Some may find that the EDP Intense is the sweetest of them all, but if you also want that additional cosier feeling, the Sensuelle flanker could be your jam. Longevity is really good, I can still smell it on me after 10 hours. But the sillage is really low, it's actually the lowest of all the flankers. But that may be intentional, given the vibe that was marketed for this perfume. It is indeed really sensual and inviting. On me, the licorice and then the tonka bean shine for the longest time. Lavender remains, of course, easily perceptible, but it lets the licorice and the tonka bean have their moment in this one. The reassuring and motherly lavender watches it all from afar, while vanilla is even further and more discreet, merely whispering. The overall scent is slightly powdeyr, this is absolutely not a powder bomb. The balance is beautiful. I'd say it's a safe office scent. You could totally overspray this to amp up the projection/scent trail but I feel like the experience will be even more delightful for you and your loved ones while they'll be standing/sitting really close to you, or even hugging you. Smelling your perfume would be like a surprise privilege :) This layers amazingly with Kayali Vanilla 28. I feel like the vanilla in this Kayali perfume is really reminiscent of the famous Guerlain Vanilla. You really can't go wrong with this layering combo. You could also layer this with the OG Guerlain to amp up the tonka, licorice and sweetness.

Edit 11/10/20: This doesn't last! Such a shame. I really love the scent, but I get only a few short hours to enjoy it. Not impressive performance for an EDP. The EDT version lasts all day on my skin. Shoot! :( Wow wow wow. I just blind bought this and I could not be happier. I'll tell you how I ended up here: Almost a year ago, I blind-bought my first Guerlain fragrance, Mon Guerlain EDT. Since then, it's been my #1 reached for, star in any weather, all-occasion beauty. I lived in Southern Missouri then, which never got *too* cold even in winter, so MG EDT was truly an every day, year round pick for me. Fast forward to now, we recently moved North to Wisconsin and the temperatures are dipping fast. It's real fall, y'all. And winter is coming. I'm starting to crave those deeper, sweeter, comforting fragrances. I smelled MG EDP on a tester strip a few times in department stores, and once on my skin. It sadly came across too strong for me. I found Sensuelle in this database, and decided to purchase it just based on the reviews here. I am so glad I did! This one is IT. MG Sensuelle is creamy, dreamy, vanilla-y goodness. It does not knock one over with its presence. It sits close to the skin, enveloping the wearer in its sweet cloud of a scent. It's sugary, but not enough to give one a toothache. The herbal lavender keeps it grounded, but the star of the show is the vanilla. Guerlain really does vanilla better than any other. I'm in love.

Mon Guerlain Sensuelle, I can't describe how much I love this perfume! This was a blind buy and went from a strong like to love! I wanted a Mon Guerlain and decided to get this instead of the original because of the reviews and I didn't regret it, now that I also own the original Mon Guerlain I decided to write a review myself to compare it for people who can't test both. This is divine, beautiful, sophisticated and that's what I feel when I wear it! Yes there are many sweet vanilla fragrances out there but for me this stands out. It has the perfect balance of everything. Everyone compliments it be sure about that. Do I find it similar to the original version? Yes, they're 90%-95% similar. Do I regret buying both? Absolutely no! The only reason I'll wear the original more is because Sensuelle is hard to find and I don't want to finish my bottle. Sensuelle is creamier, more buttery, with the lavender a little toned down, original Mon Guerlain is more powdery and the lavender a little louder but in both vanilla is the most prominent note. One of my absolutely favorites!

Ugh, I blind bought on the reviews that said it smelled like Mon Exclusif. Not on me. Very loud lavender, very aromatic and quite masculine. None of that beautiful Guerlain vanilla. Skin chemistry is so weird. I'll put it away for now and try later, sometimes that works wonders. Unfortunately, I also blind bought Mon EdT. It's not here yet, but I think my nose is in for a world of hurt. On the flip side, I also bought Insolence and I'm doing a happy dance. I need to lay off Fragrantica for a while. My wallet is very hurt right now, lol. Edit 4/22/21 I gave it a week and I may have to eat a little crow. It it NOT Mon Exclusif, but it's as close as it will get to it in the Mon line. Putting it with a very sweet vanilla almond body cream makes this lovely. Without it, it is still very woody and masculine on me. But it's a definite like now with the addition. I don't send frags back, I make them work for me, lol. I'm way too possessive over perfumes for my own good.

This is very nice. I have grown to love Mon Guerlain as an easy, all occasion fragrance. I went through a 50 ml bottle in a year, which is super quick for me. Mon Guerlain Sensuelle, in my experience, is even easier to love and wear. I still love both, though, just to put that out there. Yes—it is in the original Mon Guerlain range (I have not had the fortune of smelling Mon Exclusif, althoughI wish I had...)—but the “freshness” (iso-e super?) is toned down while the deep vanilla and tonka and sweet patchouli are turned up. The lavender is still present, but in a more demure and honest way, allowing the iris to come through, and the gorgeous velvety vanilla really shines and is given added depth with the amped up tonka and patchouli. I find it more powdery, but I love powdery scents. It does not perform (in terms of sillage & longevity) on me as well as Mon Guerlain EDP, but it is a real treat. I’m glad I got a bottle.

I know a lot of people have said it's basically the same and that you don't need to buy this one if you own the original EDP, but I really disagree! The drydown is soooooooooooo beautiful on this one. I used to not really reach for the original too often and I just got this one yesterday and have worn it with the original to compare both yesterday and today. I absolutely love the drydown. It's smoother, creamier, sexier, more vanilla.... The original has more of a sparkling drydown if that makes sense. It doesn't give me a nice, warm hug that the other one does when I smell my arm to compare. That said, I'm still going to keep the original in my collection. It's a 30mL and I like having it to compare--I also have the EDT and plan on getting the intense one soon. I love this one so much, omg...

I don't know why it took me this long to write a review for MG Sensuelle (as it's one of my absolute favorite frags), but today, I tested this alongside Mon Exclusif for the THIRD time this year. I came to the conclusion that this is LITERALLY the closest to Mon Exclusif by like, 99%, for real. (Original) Mon Guerlain has the sharp lavender, sharp licorice and cool vanilla, and drydown turns into straight lavender candy. MG Sensuelle compared to original Mon Guerlain, has the lavender COMPLETELY toned down, then up'ed the vanilla and added the benzoin, which makes MG Sensuelle soft, buttery-like and CREAMY AF. The original MG has a sharp drydown too. If you're a Mon Guerlain fan and want the CLOSEST thing to Mon Exclusif, then pick this up!

Another edit: THIS IS SUPER CLOSE TO MON EXCLUSIF EDIT: I have tried the OG Mon Guerlain EDIT AGAIN Both are soooo good! Sensuelle for when you want more rich creamy vanilla and OG for when you want more lavender. They are both beautiful and addictive. I now have two bottles of Sensuelle 1.6oz, 2 bottles of MG 1.0oz & 3.4oz and 1 bottle of the EDT 3.4oz. Obviously, this is the best stuff. DIVINE!!!! I tried Mon Guerlain Intense but it hit the back of my throat and stuck there. It was much too thick and overwhelming. Mon Guerlain Sensuelle is pure beauty and grace. This was a blind buy and I am over the moon in love with it. I have not smelled Mon Exclusif or the OG Mon Guerlain but Sensuelle is my holy grail. She is perfect!

I sprayed this 9 hours ago and I'm still enveloped in a soft, powdery cloud of lavender-vanilla-tonka. I really love this scent. It's soothing, relaxing and sensual at the same time. It smells feminine and sweet without being girly or cloying. It lasts all day on my skin with soft projection - which I prefer. And it's perfectly office friendly without being boring. It reminds me a bit of Yves Saint Laurent Libre. I love both but Libre is leaning more unisex and gives me a "boss lady" vibe, this is more feminine, gentle, sweet and soft. I don't get the "aftershave" that some get. I know lavender is traditionally used in mens fragrances but this is sweet, powdery, flowery vanilla on my skin and not masculine at all.

This was not a love at first sniff, and a few months later, I strongly like it, but I don't yet love it. However, I would buy it again. There is something about it that just makes me keep picking up the bottle and sniffing it. I'm thinking maybe because it's 2020, and this has been a crazy, stressful year, but the lavender in this is so comforting and soothing. It does remind me a little of something my grandfather wore (an aftershave), which I didn't initially love. It's probably more mature than most of the fragrances I own (I'm in my 40s), but it doesn't scream "grandma." It was my first Guerlain purchase, and since then I've picked up about five more Guerlain scents because I really love this house.

@AriaGrace, Thank you for that review! I have been wondering about this one for a few months. Based on your review, I decided to go ahead and buy it. Sad thing is I promised my husband he could give it to me for Valentine’s Day, and he will likely make me wait. Oh patience can be so hard to find sometimes! Update: It arrived and my husband let me have it early. Bless him and the noses behind this stunning fragrance! By far my favorite out of the MG family. Too good to only market to Brazil. I unfortunately have never had to pleasure of smelling Mon Exclusif so I can’t give my opinion on how they compare. However, after smelling Sensuelle, I really do feel like I must be missing out on ME.

I've been through a couple of bottles of OG Mon Guerlain and was starting to go off it because the lavender in it smelled too sharp. I tried the Intense and that was worse. Mon Exclusif was out of my budget so I blind bought MG Sensuelle based on reviews. I'm so glad I did! It's exactly what I was hoping for - a creamier MG with a bit less lavender. If you like MG but find the lavender a bit much and would like the vanilla dialled up a bit you will probably love this. Sillage and longevity similar to the OG. Works really well layered with the OG body lotion. Not sure why it's not sold in the UK but I found it quite easily on Ebay for a decent price.

I was debating whether it was worth it to add this to my collection but I'm extremely glad I did! It is definitely different enough from the others to justify the purchase and it's absolutely delightful. I agree with the other reviews that mention it's closest to Mon Exclusif. My perception of it is that the lavender is dialed down a bit, and that it combines the best of Mon Exclusif (toffee and butter notes) and the best of the original Mon Guerlain (that vanilla!). No complaints about the performance but on me, the dry down doesn't last quite as long as the original, which just keeps going and going, but I expected that from a Sensuelle version.

This is a beautiful, sophisticated and sexy perfume. Perfect for date night. I didn't like this straight away. After 3 months, I tried it again. Then, I bought a back-up! It's balanced and elegantly curated. There's nothing synthetic smelling. Delicious! There is quite a LOT of vanilla and a surgary note. 2017 batch. I also, detect anise, lavender, white florals and a clean musk. I love the bottle, it's so heavy and regal. There is so much vanilla and brown sugar in it, that it resembles Kayali Vanilla 28, I'm wondering if Firmenich supplies some ingredients to Guerlain.

Mon Guerlain EDP is my favorite fragrance of all time, but I love having this one in my collection. I use Sensuelle often, when I want to smell a bit more demure. When I want my fragrance to be more of a whisper than a shout. Sensuelle is powdery lavender vanilla. Stronger on the vanilla than the lavender, but she is not strong. She is not long lasting. She's soft and sweet and pretty. She sits close to the skin - one has to be very near you to detect her presence, and that's okay. That's what makes her Sensuelle.

Vanilla, tonka and lavender all the way through! Only as it dries down the lavender subdues and gives way lets the sweetness shine through in all its creamy glory. Great for amping up my confidence, makes me feel beautiful and desired. A perfume I find much similar to this is from the brazilian brand O Boticário, called Coffee Woman Duo, the one in the white packaging. If available where you live, it might be worth a try (both because of the price and resemblance to this flanker, in my opinion).

I bought this after reading all the wonderful reviews below, claiming it’s better than the original, but I find they smell exactly alike? I absolutely love the original & was excited to try this, but I can find any differences whatsoever? The bottles are exactly the same too, I have to look at the bottom label to find the one that says sensuelle. I already own 5 bottles of Mon Guerlain & I could’ve passed on this. I still love this scent too, but it’s mon Guerlain, no difference.

Mon Guerlain with a more subdued lavender note and amped vanilla and tonka. It is softer and creamier than the OG version. Sillage and longevity are moderate on my skin, probably 3-5 hr within my personal space, this is completely office safe. I think this is a bit more sweet and almost buttery, it feels like a lavender/vanilla cookie, it is gorgeous. I can't advice regarding buying it or not. I have Mon Guerlain, sensuelle and intense. Love them all!

Ok, this shit is amazing, at first I wanted nothing to do with Guerlain because Shalimar killed it for me... but BABY this smells Divine I would describe it as a semi sweet delicious lavender Tonka bean vanilla perfect for a rainy day...I finished a bottle in a month! Then purchase 2 more! Did a review on YouTube under badbadkitti go check it for proof lol!

This is the best flanker of this line and I'm very, very sad that it's already discontinued. It's the only one I sense as sweet. To me it's the most special and even better than the OG, the dry down is pure heaven. If you have the chance to grab a bottle, don't hesitate and thank me later.

One of my faves. I almost feel like maybe this is what Shalimar perfume Initial was supposed to be without the lavender. This to me is a classic Guerlain and I will always have it. Sadly it lasts only about 5 hours. So keep that in mind. But it’s worth it.

Found a partial bottle! This is my favorite from the line so far. There’s a definite orange note that differentiates it from the EDP. It’s also creamier and rounded than that EDP. Love!! Message me if you have a bottle to get rid of pls

Smells like milk and honey shower gel to me but with sandalwood. It has this super sweet honey-like solar scent to it. So Mon Guerlain Sensuelle is giving Disney's Little Mermaid perfume to me lol maybe due to the overload of jasmine - a common note, the benzoin-licorice like honey - since I smell a honey effect in Little Mermaid, and with the lavender-iris of Sensuelle, you get an indolic doll-like scent like tuberose, while the almondy tonka perfects it corresponding to the almond in Little Mermaid, but the sandalwood here is pencil shavings a bit so more mature and dimensional as a scent. It's youthful and sophisticated but also sweet and playful. Projects nicely and the lavender makes it refreshing, so not cloying or nauseatingly sweet while Little Mermaid is a bit too much.

I already have Mon Guerlain original, the gold limited edition (exact same frag as original, just different bottle) & the Intense version so I thought this was a safe blind buy as I was unlikely to hate it. Well I don't hate it. It's just not that exciting a twist as I had hoped. I usually like the sensuelle versions of scents, plus this is supposed to be the closest to Mon Exclusif plus I love jasmine n this has extra so.. but I don't find it that much sweeter or much more jasminey. It's just the softest version I think. It doesn't seem to be the room filler the others are. I will probly wear this one to bed.

This is a soft, cozy scent. I mainly get tonka, lavender, and a slight powdery scent. I probably wouldn't buy a bottle unless I found a smoking deal because it's not a love, but I'm glad I got to experience it.

At first I was hit with a sharp, bitter patchouli note but once it dries down, it turns into a soft vanilla floral. Not my favorite fragrance but it's not bad either.

Impression from a scent card: lavender, woody, a bit resinous. I wouldn't have classed this as a vanilla-forward perfume. I can smell some of the original Mon Guerlain but it's switched if that makes sense - vanilla lavender (sensuelle) instead of lavender vanilla (original). Okay, edit for a spray from the perfume: softer and more vanilla than the OG mon Guerlain (less sharpness from the citrus lavender upfront). Yes they do smell 95% the same, just like you skipped two hours into the drydown of the OG. The drydown of Sensuelle is more of the same, increasing amounts of sweetness and lavender vanilla. If you have one you don't need the other. Yes, you could tell the difference if you were super super keen, but I'm going to hazard that neither you nor your nearest and dearest will care after a while. ♡

I blind bought this after hearing that it was nearly a dupe for Mon Exclusif and I was sorely disappointed. On me, this is a softer version of the original Mon Guerlain. Comparing them side by side, they are almost identical on me, just that Sensuelle is a bit softer and doesn't last as long. Since I already own Mon Guerlain and Mon Guerlain Intense, Sensuelle is just really repetitive in my collection. I prefer the other two over this.

Powerful Tonka and vanilla, which I usually like, but it is so sweet and creamy it turns my stomach. Reminds me of some teenybopper perfumes I wore in middle and high school. This is more of a personal opinion than a lambast against the fragrance itself.

If you ever have a blind buy disaster, try this: put the perfume aside and revisit in a few weeks or months. You may do a 180 on it. This happened with me for Mon Guerlain Sensuelle. When Mon Guerlain edp (the original) came out in stores, I went to test it and I remember my reaction very vividly. I recoiled in disgust. It was too sweet. Too cloying. Definitely not my cup of tea. Then I came across Mon Guerlain Sensuelle and was swayed by all the positive reviews to blind buy it at a very reasonable price on FragX, since they were unanimous in saying this is an improved version of the original. MGS arrived, I sprayed it on and there it was, that same cloying sweetness I recall from a couple years back. Without a side-by-side comparison, this flanker is pretty much the same scent as the original MG edp in my mind. I was so mad at myself! After about 2 days of trying to make it work, I finally placed the bottle back in its box and put it away. I’ve NEVER done that before with any of my fragrances. I didn’t even want to look at it. A reminder of my folly and failure. Couple of weeks later, I caught myself thinking about it. Took it out of its place of banishment and this time, something had changed, I quite liked it. So over the next couple of days I used it somewhat liberally as an afternoon post-shower scent, attempting to get through it quickly. Guess what, MGS grew from hate, to like, to love. That tonka sweetness, once so irksome, wrapping me each afternoon like a safety blanket even in the warmest days here in the tropics. I won’t try to describe the scent. Lots of people have already done it both here and in the MG edp page. Long story short... I’m already planning to explore the other flankers. And yes they will be blind buys too since all the department stores are closed ;)

I bought this perfume because I love vanilla! However, this really doesn't fall into a vanilla perfume category for me. It IS a lovely scent, but far too dynamic for me to consider this one of my "vanilla" scents. I have never tried MG, but this scent most closely reminds me of Jimmy Choo Ilicit (by no means a dupe, but just similar notes). I get mostly creamy, floral, and sweet from this one. It smells much different from the bottle than it does on my skin. From the bottle, it smells like a classy, luxurious feminine scent-like an expensive soap! On my skin this is where its middle notes morph into something sticky sweet (not like cotton candy, but like the thick, sweet honey note in Illicit). I really do love this perfume, although it is not usually what I would reach for. And longevity is nice--lasts all day for me. The base notes aren't as sugared as the middle notes--it settles into a very pretty and lovely base (lavender-cream-wood?)! I am 41 years old and I think this is a great everyday scent for a mature woman! I honestly can't stop sniffing my arm when I wear this one! I am interested to see how this one wears in the summer (right now it's winter and it's a great choice for cold weather IMO!). Unfortunately, this one is hard to come by and must be discontinued...I had to settle for a 10ml decant online! Try it while you still can, if you're interested! Update: I still just adore this scent!! Since I only have a decant, I am trying to make this one last forever :-/ I have been wearing Guess Seductive Noir 2 sprays / lower half, and then on my wrists, I spray Sensuelle. I don't think that Guess's perfume is even comparable to the quality and enjoyability (is that a word?) of MG Sensuelle, but it does dry down to a similar but weaker / lower quality scent. Together they don't clash and I still get to enjoy Sensuelle all day!! El Nabil's Musc Love is another very similar and more affordable scent that I use a spray of in addtion to Sensuelle, to help Sensuelle last all day. It is more similar than Guess's perfume IMO. Update #2: It's been months, and I still am smitten with this perfume! I had to upgrade my decant to a full bottle I came across on Ebay for a steal. I usually become bored with scents even when I feel I need a full bottle, but MG Sensuelle is definitely a keeper for me!!! Such a pretty, lovely scent, and I can smell it alllll day and just love how amazing I smell!!!!! This is definitely in my top 5 of all time!

For someone who doesn't even really like lavender, this perfume is quite nice. It is young, fun, vanillic and sweet, and very commercial/easy to like. That being said, I felt something was a bit "off" in the drydown and there was a hint of something artificial. I just couldn't picture myself owning a full bottle, although I liked the concept. Then I re-discovered Mon Exclusif. It was one I bought years ago when it first came out but then immediately returned due to my guilt of spending so much for a perfume. It can't be worth it, I thought. Well fast forward several years and I was able to get a new bottle of the discontinued Mon Exclusif at a good price so I went for it. I then realized that it had everything I was missing from Mon Guerlain and MG Sensuelle. Yes, I completely understand and appreciate that Mon Guerlain (and flankers) was meant as a more accessible, affordable version with more affordable ingredients, but I just don't think it works as well once you compare it to the OG Mon Exclusif. Just my 2 cents! :)

I received this in a swap, and I am so happy I did. I wear Mon Exclusif often, but it’s a powerhouse and too dense for hot weather. (Not to mention discontinued, pricey, and hard to find.) I tried Mon Guerlain EDT as a summer option, but it didn’t work for me. This is what I needed instead! I’ve worn it two days now, and although the strength and longevity aren’t near as potent as Mon Exclusif, it’s perfect for days when you want a lighter version. I am getting mainly lavender, vanilla and tons of tonka bean. Another winter favorite of mine is Guerlain’s Tonka Imperiale and Mon Sensuelle is as similar to that as it is to Mon Exclusif. I’m not picking up anything floral or citrus, and I’m not getting the butter or toffee of Mon E. I really, really like this. This could be called Mon Tonka, although that doesn’t have quite the sexy ring as Mon Sensuelle.

Received my bottle today along with original Guerlain. I’m very surprised how similar they’re. Like 95% similar. The only difference I can smell is that original is a bit more loud and a bit more fresh with lavender and bergamote., Sensuelle is a bit more subtle and a bit more creamy. I feel like it sits closer to skin. I would say if you feel like original is to overwhelming or may be too strong for you try the sensuelle. It’s like a lighter version of original. But definitely not worth owning both unless you are a mom guerlain collector. Just too similar. One thing I’ll say is that I do prefer the Sensuuelle over the Exclusif that is similar too. To me exclusif has more noticeable Tonka bean and lavender while sensuelle is more vanilla lavender. I hope it makes sense. Nevertheless My favorite remains the Mon Guerlain Intense version.

Sensuelle is my favorite of the Mon Guerlain's, and I like it better than Mon Exclusif. I've owned this for a few months, and it's the only Mon Guerlain/Exclusif that I reach for now. I like the others, but Sensuelle has something extra special. What makes this one special is that the notes have individual moments of pop. There are moments where Sensuelle is challenging to distinguish from the pillar, but then there's a POP! A note will burst out and entice you. Overall, Sensuelle seems like the fragrance made for fragrance lovers. It's a well-crafted fragrance. It's not always neutral and harmonious and forgettable. Along the dry down, it likes to remind you that things are happening. Do you need this one if you have other Mon Guerlains? Maybe not, but I do think it's better, and it would be my first choice if you only own one.

I thought I loved MG EDP, it was my favorite elegant cozy vanilla frag. Then I smelled MGS, which makes the EDP smell sharp, unrefined almost chemically. How can this be??? MGS lavender is smoother, its vanilla is warmer, the notes work together to make it beautiful whereas in EDP the lavender gives an edge, and the vanilla can be a bomb. The two scents are very very similar, but this one is just so much better. I will add though, the EDP projects very well where this one sits closer to skin. Its worth giving a couple extra sprays to add performance. This is worth buying and trying no matter which MG you think you love.

I have ordered mon guerlain original, sensuelle, and intense. I haven't received the intense yet but I can compare original and sensuelle. The sensuelle is the scrumptious dry down smell of the original without the extra zesty-freshness at first. Think Original with less sharp lavendar top notes. I personally prefer this one but can tell it's not necessarily as long lasting. If you own the original and worry you need this, just spray the original and wait one hour for the vanilla dry down annnnnd Voila! You now have the smell of sensuelle. However, I'm glad I own this because I like smelling the vanilla immediately!

I have both the Mon Guerlain EDP and the Mon Guerlain Sensuelle EDP, and if I had to go with one, I would choose the original version by far. Why? The Sensuelle version is softer and milder; it has a stronger floral bottom layer. To me, the original version is more pleasing, more striking. The softness of the Sensuelle version mutes the GENIUS of the original scent. Because, let's face it, Mon Guerlain is a genius level fragrance. Just my two cents. If you want the REAL Mon Guerlain, by all means go with the original.

I just got a bottle of Bloom of Rose and realized I have a couple of flankers tucked away, so I’ve been playing with my Mon Guerlains and the room smells like a bakery with a vanilla cloud wafting about. Like a few of the other comments, Sensuelle retains the vanilla and lavender but in a much softer way. Almost like the dry down of the OG. It’s too sweet as a work scent but it’s fluffy and cozy and would be perfect as a bedtime fragrance.

this scent for sure lives up to its name.......sensuelle........its feels like u are draped in luxury :) its has relaxing way about it........very calming......im sure we can give credit to the lavender for that lol its very creamy..........smooth........divine......and sensual - perfect date night scent :) on me the lavender , iris & vanilla are the standouts guerlain deserves 10 stars for this whole line.....excellent job :)

So soft, so beautiful, so calming, so nurturing, so warming.... longevity.... so poor! Does it smell like the OG mon guerlain? I decluttered that one and I don't remember loving that scent so much! But my taste do change though. Based on my memory, the OG smells like cloying vanilla but the sensuelle is more floral and more feminine and flirty, definitely more enjoyable in my opinion

As a lover of Mon Guerlain EDP and Intense, I just blind bought Sensuelle. It's beautiful and I don't have much to add other than the longevity is horrible! The EDP and Intense aren't what I would call very long lasting either, but Sensuelle is the faintest skin scent in under 90 minutes. And during those 90 minutes, it has minimal projection. Too bad because it is a gorgeous scent.

To me, this scent is so much like the original Mon Guerlain, that it is not worth buying. The difference I noted is that it is a little softer on the top notes, and softer all over, consequently it does not have the longevity Mon Guerlain has. If you have one, you don't really need the other. They are both lovely though, and I get compliments.

Smells exactly like the original but doesn't last as long. Mon Guerlain is my favorite perfume. Idk what they did that just doesn't make it last as long

There is very little to no difference with the OG Mon Guerlain. Smells like the drydown of OG
