Muguet Millésime 2020

Received bottle 907 as an Anniversary gift. My husband is crazy. (But amazing!) This smells like the purest, cleanest, most vibrant "Spring" you can imagine. I swear it smells exactly like the bottle looks- bright, clean, fresh, green and white, yet delicate. Lily of the valley with crisp green notes, with pink rose in the background. I occasionally get bits of jasmine, but theyre fleeting. As expected, it doesnt linger on skin (but does on fabric!) but the soft whiffs I catch while wearing it on wrists (or on my coat sleeves) are heavenly.

The most accurate capture of the Lily of The Valley, my flower name and the flower that fills my garden every spring. It is exactly like you would smell the flower in a mountain garden, no alteration. Clean, fresh, balanced. I could not use the sad Diorissimo, I still have it intact. But the Muguet, different story, beautiful masterpiece! Perfect Muguet, as only Guerlain could do!

Pure joy in a bottle. The most beautiful and true to flower lily of the valley I've found. I feel more beautiful and happier wearing it and looking at the gorgeous bottle. Whether it is actually worth the massive premium of limited supply is debatable, but if you save up for a treat to bring you joy, this will do nicely.

Got this on sale and while the bottle was beautiful and the 20ml travel bottle with the white leather sleeve a nice addition but the box and general presentation should be an embarrassment for Guerlain. The thin white extruded plastic bottle sleeve inside the cheap cardboard box pales in comparison to lesser priced bottles and brands, think Electimuss, Xerjoff, Tiziana Terenzi and the far less expensive and wonderful Arab brands. I’m certain most people buy these collector bottles only once, it just seems poor value for the money. Moilnard’s Muguet is an impressive composition at any price range.

I am just thinking about decants/sample selling/buying: price is around AU$1000 per 125 ml bottle. I.e. 1 ml is approximately $8. 5 ml sample $40? Plus shipping, plus ebay fees, sample bottle etc. $50? is anyone who want to buy such sample? Sure not me.

This has the exact same notes as 2001's Aqua Allegoria Lilia Bella, discontinued some years ago. Hmm ...

Does Guerlain provide samples? I’ve been trying to find a place to purchase a sample.
