Pêche Mirage Guerlain (Store test, Paper test) Pêche Mirage is available in Guerlain Thailand already. I have heard it is Peach combine with Leather, at first instinct. It think will this be close to "Osmanthe Yunnan" by Hermes? Thanks god, it is not and I feel really happy that Delphine can come up with something fairly new and innovation. ===== Peach in Pêche Mirage smells authentic. Most of the time, Peach in perfumery never be the highlight but it is easily prominent by Characteristic of Aldehyde C-14, Peach Aldehyde (Lactone). I believe there is more to the note than the suggestion "Peach" in the wheel. As this nectar like, sweet peachy peach is the most authentic peach so far, I have sniffed. I used to own "Vepres Siciliennes" MDCI by Jeanne-Marie Faugier. And I recall certain similarity, eventhough in Vepres Siciliennes. Doesn't make the authentic peach as this. (it twines with Magnolia and Violet). And fairly very shampoo across the wear. Apart for how much I would love to praise this "fruity-sweet peach accord" I think the later part of the fragrance is walk in traditional Floral-Oriental manner. As it walks to the heart, I notice the freesia / Osmanthus powdery floral heart. (It's always been a clever idea to tile Osmanthus with Peach) but I do not notice it strongly. Somehow as it is walk to the heart, it is the omnist blend between powdery floral and powdery lactone sandalwood. It's just neat. And the peach nuance stays in background. And that leathery / Amber feel, mostly it is new-way leather fragrance. Leathery Saffron with lite amber, strong yet gentle at the same time. ===== I personally think this is neat blend and original consider a peach profile. Even the scent works liter than classic Guerlinade format. It is very beautiful and carefully rounding all aspect and element. In the aspect I haven't smell before. And consider Osmanthus Yunan, the parameter of this genre. Pêche Mirage can manage to do its own thing. I think this is solid (A) tier release from Delphine. Update 1 on January 17, 2025 I sniff the far dry-down of Pêche Mirage; allow me to point that Delphine seems to repeatedly use the sandalwood-floral dry down. From Santal Pao Rosa, Neroli Plein Sud and this one.

Pêche Mirage opens with a wet, juicy peach that feels fresh and natural, but not too sweet — I think it strikes a really nice balance. It’s definitely a fruity fragrance, but not a loud or overly sugary one. It’s grounded by a smooth leather base and soft, airy spices that give it an expensive, sexy, and slightly edgy feel. I wouldn’t be put off by the mention of leather — this is still, overall, a light and airy scent. The leather knows how to play nice. It sits alongside the other notes — it doesn't sit above them making it the star of the show but it doesn't necessarily sit behind them and turn into a background character. There’s a light, clean, almost soapy feel to the fragrance, with a faint green touch that keeps everything fresh. The green is very subtle — I wouldn’t call it leafy or piney, but almost herbal in a soft, smooth way. It wears subtly but elegantly, and it’s very sexy. This is a fruity fragrance, pretty linear, that leans more elegant than playful. Perfect for warmer weather, close encounters, or situations where you want to smell clean and interesting without being loud. I think it's pretty unisex leaning just a tad feminine because of the peach. I think the leather, freshness, and soft spices bring it back to the unisex side. Longevity for me has been moderate to low — I’ve worn it in high heat and got around 4–5 hours, but I plan to test it again in cooler spring temperatures to see if I can squeeze a little more life out of it. This is a very expensive-smelling and well-blended fragrance, and I would definitely say it’s worth trying if you're into soft, clean, fruity scents with a twist.

Pech Mirage is a very realistic peach scent, nice and fresh with echoes of childhood spent in France when produce used to fragrant and juicy, rather than the large and tasteless/odourless peaches of today. There's something very nostalgic about this scent. It's elegant and very French, a little old-school but very modern at the same time. Delphine Jelk definitely has a way of creating extremely high quality fragrances. Even the freshies are excellent performers and I find this lasts and is quite projecting. I sprayed about 2-3 hours ago and I can still smell it on me easily. This is a great hot weather scent, because it's fresh but has a depth to it, probably due to the amber, sandalwood and leather base notes. That said, I don't find this leathery as some have commented. This fragrance has had quite a bit of flack in FragComm, views I don't share at all. It's certainly not a superficial or weak scent and I don't find it unoriginal either. Neither do I find it light, simple, shampoo-y, synthetic or soapy. Certainly it's not for everyone because peach doesn't appeal to all tastes, but if you like fruity, I'm sure you'll love this. I layered it on top of Chanel's Paris-Riviera body lotion, which is primarily an orange blossom scent and the two merge together seamlessly. I think time will be the judge of this fragrance and it will grow to garner more fans. I'm especially interested to observe what happens to the scent as it ages. New releases, later judged as classics, are often initially repudiated.

Pretty unique tart subtle peach woody suede leather. Extremely smooth and well blended, delicate even. No it doesn't smell like shampoo or gummy candy rings. Yes, a man can wear it. Provided he isn't instantly scared away by peach. Opening may lean a little fem, but the leather and woody amber vibe shows up quick, and makes the frag Unisex. I could see women thinking the drydown goes a little masc. It's an addicting scent. Not summer only, as many would see peach and assume that. Despite the delicate beautiful blend and tart gentle peach, it has some soft depth that makes it suitable for three seasons. This is one for the connoisseur to be honest. You simply must appreciate the subtly unique blend quality, the amazing smoothness of the materials, and the overall feeling or vibe it gives you. Because it does have a vibe to it. If you're looking for a loud, candy sweet peach banger - I would pass on this one. Pass hard. If you're a woman looking for a sweet floral feminine juicy peach, you're likely going to be disappointed as well. Overall, it was a like a first sniff. Then I put it on skin, boom. The leathery suede woody amber notes come out much more prominently on skin, making this something truly special. Paper won't do this one justice. Sometimes paper is fine, this time it isn't. Ignore the ratings. People like to hate vote expensive fragrances, especially this line, which is fine. They're all overpriced of course. But that has literally nothing to do with the smell of the juice. 9.25/10

Peche Mirage is a fantastic flirty and youthful addition the L'Art & La Matière line which can feel a little dated and too serious at times. This smells very nectary with the peach and osmanthus together. The leather is smooth, natural and grounds this from getting overly sweet or turning it into a fruity-floral gourmand. The leather is not prominent at all, btw. The sandalwood adds a clean, creamy woody touch as well. Though not published in the notes, there's definitely some form of musk in the blend. I agree with the comparison to Dior Jasmine Des Anges below, Peche Mirage just smells like a less musky/floral cousin to it. FWIW- I sprayed this on a tester yesterday, and can still smell it 24 hours later so I would have to call BS on the performance issue claims. I think the real issue is nose blindness to the aforementioned synthetic musk style note. I truly enjoyed sampling this and plan on buying a full bottle just in time for Spring. Edit - I am really obsessing over this and will be getting a bottle much sooner. The final dry-down is giving a natural sweet and woody nectar vibe. 10/10. Edit 2: I finally purchased, and have received so many compliments. I thought this would just be a "personal like" but it is really well received by others, and leaves an airy sweet scent trail.

If you're expecting a typical gourmand peach fragrance, Guerlain is far from your best bet. It doesn’t drench you in ripe, sticky fruit or lean into honestly any sweetness at all. Instead this peach makes its appearance more as the scent of sipping a fragrant peach tea on a crisp spring morning, in a new designer leather jacket that you catch whiffs of soft, earthy richness from. The fruit is there, but it’s translucent, really a mirage, filtering through rays of sun. The backdrop of supple leather really gives it that understated yet bold Guerlain elegance too. Not the heavy, rugged kind of loud, but something sleek and buttery, warm but with a cool sheen. The leather doesn’t overpower but smooths out the fruit’s edges, making it feel more like skin than pulp. What’s particularly fascinating to me is how the peach stays just out of reach in this scent, recognizable but never fully tangible. It weaves in and out, sometimes soft and airy, sometimes shadowed by woody undertones. You chase it, but it never quite lets you hold it. Peche Mirage. If you want the memory of a peach, the ghost of its sweetness curling around something cozy and also sleek, Peche Mirage. Elusive. Polished. Beautiful.

Very realistic peache note -- I pictured this to be more of a "peach ring" candy vibe, but in reality, it's a very ripe, fruity peach note; it quite literally reminds me of biting into a peach fresh off the shelf at the Farmer's Market. Slight leather undertones give this scent an admirable maturity, complemented by the saffron note in the opening. These two notes aren't necessarily prevalent in the smell, at least compared to the ripe peach, but are there to compliment the peach accord. Very nice overall! Relatively unisex -- coming from a man -- I think either gender could pull this off very well. Longevity is nothing short of incredible; I applied this scent at 5 pm, went to sleep, woke up at 7 am, and still got STRONG whiffs of the fragrance. It doesn't seem to change much on the skin after the first few minutes (for me, at least), but that is irrelevant, seeing as the scent is truly magnificent. This is more of a spring/summer scent and would be perfect to wear in the hotter weather. Highly recommend!

I very rarely write reviews, but yesterday I tried Pêche Mirage for the first time with zero expectations. It opens with bright, juicy, sweet and photorealistic peach note. A few minutes later you can smell very smooth leather or suede, but the peach is always present, it is very well balanced. The perfume is surprisingly very long lasting, but sits close to the skin, feminine leaning in my opinion. It is very well blended without any harsh edges, you can smell high quality ingredients which you expect from Guerlain. Pêche Mirage is nice addition to the Guerlain L'Art & La Matière collection, for me is full bottle worthy. I really did not expect to like it so much, especially when I am not a big fan of a peach note in perfume. Just imagine Violette Volynka and replace violet with peach, and you get this masterpiece. It smells sparkling, very young, but sophisticated, suitable almost for all year round. It si really worthy to smell it and create your own opinion.

Many people say this fragrance is way overpriced and almost a synthetic copy of a body mist like bath & bodyworks, but this fragrance has so much more to it. It's delicious sweet juicy peach smell as well as the beautiful execution of mixing the notes just makes this fragrance very outstanding, sweet and peachy. I honestly love peach fragrances so if you do not I would not recommend. But to say this is on the level as low as "Peach Bellini" by bath & bodyworks is farfetched to say the least. I can understand why some people would think it's a common almost synthetic smell; but its due to the outstanding sweet peach smell in this fragrance. There are so little fragrances out there that are as nicely crafted with high quality but maintaining an almost loud, bright peach note. Leaving this fragrance, one of a kind.

I hear about this terrible longevity from guerlain, yet every l'art and materiale frag I own gives me like 10 hours. This line is almost useless to research on this site. Some of the most incredible frags I own are in this line, and have been described as "basic cheapie" or "shampoo." Haven't smelled this, but blind bought it based on the line. It's a tremendous line, from frenchy lavande through neroli plein sud(top 5 in my collection). Have not been disappointed yet. Oud Khol was a beast, still is, but I do enjoy it once a year. For anyone looking for reviews on this particular line, ignore this site. Period. It's a sport to crap on expensive frags, and this line is the ultimate bullseye. FYI

I absolutely LOVE this perfume. I ordered a 5ml sample and have been using it slowly, as I'm torn about buying a full bottle with the exorbitant price tag! BUT. It's delicious. White peach, light and lovely, mixed with soft florals... and the leather note grounds it, keeping it from being too simple or juvenile. Peach is such a great note in perfume, but it can lean into a heavy, sweet, syrupy mess, or slide into fruity shampoo territory. This is an adult version of peach perfume, and it's quite sophisticated. Afraid my expensive taste might win out, and I'll end up going for it. Darn. My wallet may not love it, but my nose certainly does!

Leaves a very beautiful trail !! First hour if you sniff very close, the saffron and suede leather are very strong and smell a little industrial, but in the air leaves a beautiful elegant peach scent. The peach is very very beautiful, it’s like a peach with the skin and fuzzy “hair” After one hour, it starts to blend everything so beautifully and it’s more like a peach/apricot tea or like a peach black tea... It’s very beautiful! I bought a 100ml and I’m very happy , I don’t regret it Ps. This perfume it’s more mysterious, elegant... I would imagine someone like Monica Belucci to wear it in the movie Malena ! Elegant and mysterious

Guerlain. I have no words. All their stuff is phenomenally perfumed, and this is no exception. The perfect light and airy peach scent, perfectly balanced with the leather accords. The leather is not too strong to the point where it gets obnoxious, however perfectly adds depth to the scent without overcomplicating it. I rarely get the opportunity to try peach forward scents, this one perfectly fills the gap. It projects nicely, and lasts 5-7 hours. This fragrance has been living rent free in my mind for the last month, if anyone has any more peach forward fragrance recommendations, please help me out!! 9.2/10

Yeah, Peche Mirage is probably a bit odd but very lovely. Bright, crisp, realistic peach, a wearable osmanthus and a sort of tart blackcurrant. I don't usually appreciate leather in fresh fragrances but here, leather is not very prominent. I immediately felt wow! I can breathe! Like a breeze of fresh tangy fruit on a soft amber base. Peche mirage is a young, elegant and incredibly feminine scent. I like it very much. I don ́t get vintage vibes at all. Unfortunately I don't get any guerlain vibes either and that's a bit of a shame, but it ́s still very lovely

Guerlain is always my holy grail and I'm happy to say this scent is totally beautiful. Creamy peachy leather in the opening. It's new leather not old worn leather smell. Stays about the same on me throughout although I noticed midway through the peach seemed more pulpy at one point. It's easily a grown up peach scent and reminds me of the big perfumes back in the day. I really want a bottle, but wow Guerlain your prices skyrocketed!

echo of a peach and the leather interior of a car, then dries down into a cool (in the temperature sense) and sexy scent that's osmanthus forward w lingering aldehyde. comforting too, oddly. it girl who wears tanned leather boots and sunnies i love this scent down so much but oh my god the price is insane

This is a great peach fragrance it’s a masterpiece it’s really fresh and sweet but with that leather note it adds so much depth I’m really loving this the projection and longevity is terrible though which makes this perfume horrible but the scent on this is gorgeous

Wearing this today on an eight degrees , cloudy drizzling day. I sprayed seven times two hours ago. Smells exactly like the Fortnum and Mason peach black tea! So beautiful and calming scent !

Pêche Mirage is a cool aunt smell—undeniably pretty, with a peach note that’s both vibrant and well-crafted. The way it’s paired with leather is surprisingly effective; the contrast gives it an edge that keeps it from feeling too safe or predictable. That said, there's a bit of a mismatch between the perfume’s personality and its price point. It has a playful, almost cheeky character—something that feels more fitting for someone who's stylish but not necessarily looking to drop a serious luxury budget on fragrance. It’s still classy, but with a youthful, slightly immature twist—think Debbie from Addams Family Values: polished on the outside, with a mischievous glint underneath. And that’s the thing. It makes sense for someone who doesn’t take perfume (or themselves) too seriously—but the cost puts it out of reach for the kind of wearer it seems best suited to. At this price, you expect something a bit more refined or transformative. In the end, Pêche Mirage is clever and well done, but hard to fully recommend given the disconnect between its playful spirit and its luxury positioning.

I first smelled it on paper, and I loved it. It's a bright idea of a peach, and then it turns leathery in a very smooth way. I've got two samples of it, and on my skin I get bright peach for a short time, then soapy white floral, and after a while leather and soapy flower. I think it would be nicer in summer, as I tested it in November, and it's more of a hot-day fragrance. I also have to say that my skin does not like a lot of floral scents, and osmanthus seems to be one of them. The longevity is not as bad as other people say, and I'd say it's better than some of the other ones from this line but not as good as the stronger perfumes, which is fair. It's too expensive and maybe not sophisticated for the line, but for someone rich who wants a nice fragrance for a summer night in Calabre it's perfect.

I was so excited to try the new Pêche Mirage. It’s a very pretty but shampooy peach in the style of a Fructis shampoo scent. I was hoping it would be more like Gucci Accenti (minus the vintage animalics) and it kinda is but the peach here is too loud and brightly citric which is made even sharper by the blackcurrant. The powdery musky-soft base is nice and very classically Guerlain-chic but this peach here is just a little too immature and tart/sharp. The dry-down of Pêche Mirage has suddenly reminded me of a blast-from-the-past scent; Maybe Baby by Benefit which I’d almost long forgotten. Pêche Mirage is exactly like a shampoo version of Maybe Baby. The longevity is actually very good. It’s been on the sleeve of my coat for days and was still on my skin the following morning after wearing.

Pêche Mirage is a beautiful blend of peach, osmanthus, saffron, and suede. It opens with a fresh spicy burst of peach, cassis, and saffron before settling into a softer peach-apricot-osmanthus heart. The suede remains noticeable throughout the wear, giving the fragrance a more textured and slightly edgy character. Unlike many fruity fragrances, it never becomes particularly sweet and stays comfortably unisex. Having worn both, I would choose Fleur du Mal over Pêche Mirage. They share a very similar peach, osmanthus, and suede DNA, but Fleur du Mal feels softer, smoother, more feminine, and more elegant. Pêche Mirage is more suede-forward, slightly spicier, and more unisex, with the leathery character remaining more noticeable throughout the wear.

Utter disappointment, Guerlain. Nice peachy higher notes and... practically nothing else really. Pretty low on longevity, very little sillage. Don't feel it on my skin after 3-4 hours of wearing. Eur 300,- for 100ml? No, thank you. Though I love the scent... UPD. After maceration for almost a year and using some oil longevity and sillage improved a bit. You still have to spray at least 10 Euros of perfume on you to notice the difference though... Also peachy notes became way too sweet for me. They are not like fruity sweet, they are more like fructose sweet. Overwhelming. Though everyone goes bananas (or peaches haha) about this fragrance, I'm still not convinced. Perfumes remain very personal...

I got a sample of this when shopping at Neiman Marcus and decided to give it a wear. This is a very light and refreshing fragrance. It reminds me of peach iced tea. The peachiness isn't thick or imposing, it is the first thing you smell, but it is not cloying. I was concerned that this would be too feminine and it does lean that way, but I found it to be something that I can wear as a man. Perfect for spring and summer! In my opinion, this works great on the cooler or high heat days.

It's really a beautiful scent. I don't think that I would spend $500 on a full bottle just because it's not my type of fragrance but I can't deny how pretty it is. I wish it was fruitier and less floral. If it was more peach and less osmanthus, I'd be head over heels. That said, I feel like anyone who loves a good white floral scent, would adore Pêche Mirage. It's light, airy, floral, beautiful. Definitely a head turner that gets compliments. Perfect for Spring.

First Impressions: It's a funny one, Peche Mirage. Because it truly is a mirage. One moment it's a juicy peach, another moment, it's a middle eastern amber. Suspect it must be the melbatone molecule that makes it so. Nevertheless, a very interesting entry in the Guerlain catalogue, nothing classical about this peach. It's fresh, it's modern, it's interesting. It's worth spending a little time with.

Disappointing release from Guerlain. This fragrance doesn't meet the high standards we've come to expect from the brand. Instead of introducing such mediocre, uninspired scents, Guerlain would do well to reintroduce what they've been known and loved for, including Bois d’Armenie, Tonka Imperiale, Chypre Fatal, and the rest of the Elixir Charnel collection.

@bel.gravia Don't let them get under your skin. I am not even in the UK and I have smelled this, as well as the new Rouge Bonheur, from a salesperson. Apparently some samples have arrived at the boutique but are not on display. People believe what they want to believe, and here you are a time traveller that's kinda cool

A grown-up peach; juicy but shadowed by a smooth leather nuance, so it never turns into a playful candy-fruit. It feels plush, slightly animalic, and confidently “mature” rather than flirty. I tried this on paper today. The opening is juicy mouth-watering peach. Somehow it smells like shampoo. The scent is quite linear, nothing oriental or middle eastern at all. I think DJ just want to create a realistic juicy peach scent. I think she did a better job than TF Bitter Peach.

A juicy peach that makes you drool. It has the right amount of bitterness that makes it so real. I smell something floral but I don't think of osmanthus. The bitterness later becomes soft leather, almost suede, on a bed of amber that never gets too sweet.

On paper the smell of peaches is lovely but there did not seem much more complexity to it. It is not overly sweet or gourmand. Definitely a feminine fragrance, I could not imagine when or where I would wear this as a man.

Peche mirage is a photorealistic peach and leather scent. While it is indeed unique and decent, it's not something I would enjoy wearing because of the leather being very prominent. I appreciate it for it's uniqueness

I never looked to the notes so imagine my surprise when this turned out to be a not quite ripe peach- not at all sugary and suede. Lots of suede. It’s interesting, would have to try again but doubt I’d buy it.

That's a pretty good fragrance. Opens up with a burst of bright peach, dries down to a leathery peach. Performance is ok, more suited for spring/summer. The price is crazy for what this is though.

A very green, slightly sweet peach with a very strong osmanthus that adds a floral note. It's a well balanced scent and its very beautiful for the upcoming spring

It’s like sitting in a freshly refueled car, with a peach-scented aroma tag and leather seats

Well, it does exactly what it says it's going to do on the bottle: we get peach that is a bit of a mirage. But only a bit. The opening is definitely a fleshy and juice oozing peach with a pleasantly oily and slightly hesperidic component that smells exactly like ripe peach skins. Not so much a mirage as it is a peach falling off of the tree branch and onto your head. The heart of the perfume is where the mirage lives in the form of osmanthus. Clever yet logical direction, but the steering wheel turns a bit too hard. Osmanthus has been stated to have an apricot aspect to a lot of noses. To my nose, at least in many presentations, it comes across as more of a guava type note with peach inflections; there is something "pink" to the fruit note and a bit softly tropical in osmanthus. In Peche Mirage this osmanthus note is clearly and fully synthetic as it's been steered completely to the realm of peach, not apricot or guava. Other notable facets of the famous floral chameleon are a soft floral rose aspect and a suede leather aspect, but in Peche Mirage the osmanthus has been completely zapped of both in Guerlain's lab. This overtly synthetic nature is not off-putting, however. It is still smooth, pleasant, and just simply "quite nice", but in its synthetic revelry it loses its soul - those tiny "other" aspects and imperfections, if you will, that exist in materials that smell natural, be they natural or not. This direction of travel continues into the final dry down of bright woody amber heavy on soap musks. For Guerlain's flagship L'Art et La Matiere line this is disappointingly simple and devoid of any personality. It's pleasant, but completely forgettable.

Peche Mirage is a great attempt at doing peach in a more mature way that unfortunately falls flat. It’s not super sweet, even has a tiny hint of bitterness (you know when you eat too close to the pith? Yeah that bitterness). The opening reminds me of Oud Nude but only lasts briefly. I will say the opening is the best part of this fragrance, I wish Delphine would have ran with the saffron and bitterness and made a striking, even challenging peach fragrance. Instead she chose safe and boring. The moderately sweet peach in Peche Mirage combined with saffron and a tiny hint of leather gives it promise. But then it develops into a generic light musky peach. The notes don’t have musk listed but it pulls musky on my skin. Where Chypre Fatal is heavier on the patchouli than peach and is more substantive in comparison. This one is a clean, slightly fresh musky peach with a hint of soapiness as it evolves, giving it shampoo vibes. I don’t really get much in terms of florals. It really doesn’t evolve much to be honest— promising opening then generic base. Performance is trash. It was gone after 4 hours on skin. I’m sure it would do better on clothes. For $425 for 100 mL, I expect the juice to stick around through my work shift, go get me lunch, and tuck me in at night. I was never impressed with Tobacco Honey but all the subsequent releases have been so disappointing it’s starting to looking like the most worthy of Jelk’s additions to the L&M line. Peche Mirage would have fared better in the Aqua Allegoria line where expectations are lower.

this took me on a journey. on my first wear, i really liked it - the peach was juicy and light and the leather kept it from being too juvenile, and i found it interesting. sadly the more i wore it, and the hotter the weather got, the more i came to actually dislike it - it became cloying, the peach almost rotting, the leather & saffron (which i strongly dislike, anyway) overly spicy and synthetic. i wonder if i just didn't detect the saffron the first time i wore it; it's really a note that my skin chemistry and nose don't agree with. i think, overall, i got tired of it quickly and it became too stuffy and cloying for repeated wears. even when i initially enjoyed it, i did think it to be quite simple for the price tag and compared to the other showstoppers in the l'art et la matiere line; it's really just a straightforward peach & leather fragrance. 5/10
