Bella Vita Rosa

I have decided to make this my signature scent for the year, maybe longer. Love everything about this perfume. First, not everyone else is wearing it. Second, there is a sweetness and sourness that is interesting at the niche level. It is affordable. The dry down is warm like a sweet amber with a touch of praline but the moss keeps it light. The berries are bright and champagne like. It lasts quite awhile. The florals are soft not screechy. And it gets compliments, It feels feminine. I can't think of a season or occasion it would not be appropriate for. It feels more sensual/mysterious than over the top sexy. It ticks all of the boxes for me. Well done Guess, well done. Actually well done Gabriela. I think this is my favorite perfumer. I have really enjoyed some of her other creations - Vanilla 28, Eden Juicy Apply and Silk Santal by Kayali as well as Miami Nectar from Ellis Brooklyn. It makes me want to try out some of the other scents she has made for these and other brands ... maybe Sparkling Blush EDP by Michael Kors or Dragonfruit by Phlur will be next on my list.

This was an impulse buy for me. I was drawn to the beautiful bottle. It looks expensive and heavy. I decided to spray this after shower and it smells so divine on my skin. It's feminine, it's sophisticated, it's sweet and sour but it's not the super tart sour and the sweetness isn't juvenile. I did spray it on my cardigan for a night out. As I was putting on my cardigan, my partner get a wiff of it and said I smell good. The projection I would say is intimate. On my skin it last around 5-6 hours however on my clothes it last the entire night. It's safe for a daily perfume. It's affordable and it's nice to have in your collection. 💖

I love this perfume, honestly! It is such a nice bright happy scent. I love white florals in general, and the magnolia in this is fabulous. The opening explosion of magnolia with citrus is so juicy and delicious. I get also a bit of black currant and musk on the background. Considering this is from Guess, don’t expect miracles. The perfume is very simple, it has the same notes from the beginning till the end. And it’s very short lived - this one in particular lasts maybe 1-2 hours on my skin, which is already a stretch for most Guess perfumes.

I have the body spray of this and I can say it's very strong with woody notes and the cypress I guess as it leans more on unisex side. It's very woody but in a good and luxurious way...it's smells very expensive and high end perfume. Very suitable for a formal event. I love it! Highly recommend.

Smells like a bouquet of flowers. Perfect for spring. Doesn’t last very long, maybe 2-3 hours on my skin. But I can throw the bottle in my purse for touch ups. Layers very well with other perfumes.

Very nice strong sweet and sour perfume. Can feel it on myself all the time, lats 6-8 hours on skin. To me smells not cheap. Really like it. My favorite from 3 of them.

Less sweet and better longevity than the original. Wears really well in the heat and a great night out scent. This is a good value.

Soft, feminine, not-dated, office friendly fragrance. This is not a loud scent and inoffensive. It does sit closer to the skin and lends a softness in its presence. Would be great for healthcare environments, church service, and can be used by mature and young women. It will last anywhere from 4 hours to 6 hours on skin and potentially longer on clothing. A good bedtime and cozy scent for indoor lounge days. It won't knock your socks off, but it still has some character with the Bella Vita DNA. I own both the Bella Vita Rosa and OG.

Nothing spectacular here and the name with Rosa is misleading. There isn’t a rose in sight! A simple, pretty, classy scent suitable for office or a day at the beach. I won’t be buying again as there’s plenty of perfumes out there that are similar. It kind of reminds me of one of my old Playboy perfumes, but I can’t recall the name of it. I’m not mad that it’s not unique though because it is pleasant and it was only $10 for a travel size at Ross.

Given its name, I was expecting a heady, rose-dominated fragrance, but not at all. It mostly smells of lemon, along with jasmine and magnolia. It’s essentially a big bouquet of citrusy flowers, slightly fruity with a hint of blackcurrant. It’s both fresh and sweet at the same time, and overall it remains quite soft. There’s nothing particularly exceptional about it, but it’s still a perfectly decent fragrance.

Such a nice sweet and sour, initially i smell black currant and lemon prominently, the dry down is beautiful, woody and musky. I saw there is no rose in the notes but idk why i kept smelling rose through out. Over all a nice refreshing affordable one from Guess, i like it and will recommend it. IG: the.scentedjourney

I came into a bottle of this incidentally and I'm much older than the target market. Still, I'm liking it so far. Exuberant and optimistic. Chanel Coco Mademoiselle normally fills this flirty pink spot in my collection but Guess BVR does nicely too. Sans patchouli of course, and much cheaper.

This is spring in a bottle. I love the OG Bella Vita but this one is less vanilla-sweet and more of a floral-lemony dream. In fact, you can smell the acidity of this one but it's bearable and gives a hint of sharpness, which makes it even more unique.

Very flowery and musky scent in a style of Boucheron "Quatre" and Chloe "Si belle". Well made, quite long lasting. Might be the best sent that Guess ever made.

This is a more sour version of Versace - Eros with some green notes :) Even the bottle looks quite similar Smells much more expensive than it actually costs

Very, very citrusy. Generally inoffensive scent, would recommend for school or work but definitely not the strong rose note I was expecting.

This is nice. Soft, floral and a bit sweet. Smooth and feminine. A pretty perfume for summer. Relaxing and inoffensive.

I accidentally got this thinking it was the original Bella Vita. The bottle is gorgeous, and I'm pleasantly surprised by the perfume. Unlike other reviews, I do not think it smells cheap. I think this is nuanced, pretty and nice. It's so feminine and I don't think it would offend anyone. I'm not a huge floral fan anymore, but this is one I can see myself wearing a lot. Huge props to whoever designed the bottle, it's gorgeous. It looks stunning and classy on my dresser. I usually keep perfumes in my dark/cool closet, but this one is too lovely to hide away.

Summery fruity-floral... Had a chance to test this in Winners today. It's a light and playful fruity floral. Opens with a burst of mixed fruits, and settles into the white-floral heart that has some softly creamy, powdery & fresh tones (although I wouldn't call this a white-floral or magnolia perfume). Alongside that there's a shampoo vibe. Some reviewers are getting rose, but despite the name, I don't get any rose here although the fruity burst reads as vaguely pink. The base is mainly fruity-floral support but there is a nice soft accent of cypress & oakmoss with a direct sniff. Contrast to Pink Friday Nicki Minaj: These are different, but there is a similar fruity-floral vibe. Pink Friday has a more forward caramel note, and more obvious pear note. Roughly equivalent performance. Contrast to Incanto Shine Salvatore Ferragamo: These are different, but there are similarities with a light fruity floral. Incanto Shine has a more forward pineapple note up close, and a stronger shampoo vibe in the air. Incanto Shine has a stronger performance. It's an easy to wear & inoffensive, summery fruity-floral. I like this but there is something in it that doesn't go well with my body chemistry. Also, there's something about it that smells cheap. I got rid of it.

I don’t know how this can be a “rose heavy” scent when rose is no where near the fragrance. Are people smelling the fragrances before reviewing? 🤣
