Guess Amore Venezia

Blind purchase and a great one!This is great great great.So elegant,so far from all these sugary , milky and vanilic arabic scents that i am fed up with.Sweet,little powdery and peppery,but feminine with sillage.You have to smell it to see how beautifull it is.I have Amore Capri and also love it.Planning to blind buy Rome also.I am happy! Nothing in common with BR 50

Something about this actually does smell like Italy to me. It reminds me of my mother's lipstick somehow. I find it very feminine and comforting

This is an unusual offering for Guess, the usual being light, uncomplicated florals pitched to a younger market. The pink pepper blast on first spray settles quickly as the florals, particularly the peony come out to play. I really appreciate the addition of juniper berry, which gave an astringent quality that adds depth to this fragrance. The orris (beautifully powdery) and may rose bloom within the first 10 minutes. Vanilla is not overdone and adds a creamy quality. I could barely detect the bergamot. This perfume is being offered a a highly discounted price at one of our major pharmacy chains in Australia. I really don't see it as a unisex scent, the pretty rose and peony are very feminine. Definitely back up bottle worthy, smells a great deal more expensive than it is. Other fragrances in the Guess "Italian" collection are a bit hit or miss but this one is definitely a winner. If you appreciate Burberry Her or Versace Bright Crystal, this will definitely appeal.

Got this for a friend, the packaging is pretty and the scent is simple and feminine. I love the vanilla note and the bergamot together. The pink pepper and peony also stand out <3 love it

reminds me of glossier you because the pink pepper note is really all i get from it but i enjoy it

Light, fresh, powdery floral. This Amore line by Guess is being marketed as "genderless unisex", a bold claim, but that's a bit of a reach for this one. I'm unsure if there's anyone who would mistake it for anything but a feminine fragrance, so if you're at all insecure about your masculinity (like me lol), I wouldn't try to rock it. That being said, it is nice for a fresh, light floral scent with average performance. Still, I will most likely be giving it to my wife, if she likes it.

I should have this arriving in a few days. The notes here are a bit lacking. Guess says: "Top - Calabria Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Juniper Berry / Mid - Tuscan Orris, Rose Centifolia, Cotton Peony / Base - Olibanum, Soft Suede, Vanilla Infusion". Bit worried about not being able to pull it off as a man, but we will see!

Pass. I usually love guess fragrances, Bella vita and seductive noir being my favourite, but I was very let down by this one. It literally just smells like “perfume” and not in a good way, it smells of cheap, scented alcohol or, the body mist section in a pharmacy. The blue one on the other hand is gorgeous, I recommend passing this one and going for the blue instead. I’m almost certain most people reading this review will have better options in there personal collection then this one

This is a watered down BR50. Pretty and light, but nothing great. Surprised it’s weak for a Guess perfume.
