Guess Night

Now fellas, don’t sleep on this. I really mean it too, I love recommending cheaper fragrances and this is one of the first frags I bring up each time I do so, and for a reason. Very versatile and easy to wear. You’ll definitely smell great to others around you, woody and fresher tones hit you in the initial opening, afterwards it becomes sorta creamy thanks to that vanilla. I pick up spicier accords as the scent sits on my skin over time. Dry down isn’t really special it just fades while maintaining a modern, playful and youthful vibe. Worth the low price point. Now when to wear it? really whenever. I used to say this was more of a club frag, nowadays I think this would be solid for school, nights out, the office even. Still wouldn’t hurt to spritz this on before heading to the bar with some friends, just a little loud for the gym. I have yet to smell the flanker to this bad boy...

This is a pretty decent scent at first its hard to like on initial spray because all your gonna smell is a peppery kind of smell give it an hour and it calmns down into a mild peppery vanilla mix sounds weird but is quite pleasant. I would suggest trying on skin before blind buying a scent like this. Age range 18-35 overall score 7/10

It is really good for the price, longevity isn't the best, sillage is good first few hours. The scent is spicy and fresh. I really don't get all the hate Scent 4/5 Sillage 3/5 Longevity 2/5 (it is a cheapie, no problems with reapplying)

Dark and electric. I couldn't pick up on any of the notes in the pyramid, comes off as more of a synthetic musk than anything. Not a bad thing in this case, but it's like comparing orchestral music to electronic synth music. The projection is a little on the stronger side and the scent should last you for at least 4 hours. Becomes much more mellow and pleasant as time goes on. If indie bands that pay homage to 80s synthwave music had a scent, this would be it. So if that's the sort of music that accompanies your persona then this is for you.

This was one of my first perfume, it saves a places in my heart, it was a gift from my grandfather. I wonder if the perfum messed up, because now it smells like a completly mess. The opening is really synthetic, and as I'm writing this is giving me headche. My ex girlfriend absolutely LOVED IT for some reason. The dry down is smoother, sweety-fresh, but the species in here doesn't blend really well. Projects well in the first 2 hours. 6 hours duration. I think for the price there are a lot of better alternatives.

A nice cheapie alternative to D&G the one, it's not a clone but it has some similarities , I get that same sweet tropical grapefruit and a bit of vanilla , close to the sweet amber and tobacco tones of D&G The One, plus a noticeable pepper note, overrall I'd say it's more peppery and drier than The One, the rest is approximatively the same. To be honest it's not groundbreaking, but considering the price and the performance it's definitely a nice cheap fragrance.

It's a nice scent, Elegant, Classy and Sophisticated. A bit generic ! This perfume reminds me of Kenzo Jungle Homme EDT. It has a very strange Opening like Kenzo Jungle Homme that It smells like pencil shavings ! It opens up with like warm spicy then dry down is vanilla woody. This perfume is suitable for the spring and fall.Overall, It smells so good and very pleasant with reasonable price. I like Guess Night EDT for Men. Thumbs Up. Rating : 8 / 10

Well the perfume in general is a pretty nice perfume.it has a very fresh start which slowly develops to a aromatic note.packed with a very well designed symmetrical bottle....but there's also someone cons,the main one being the atomizer...The perfume has one of the worst atomizer if not the worst..but except that the perfume is pretty good

I think the comments on this fragrance is rather funny, To the point where I believe others don't really want to tell how good this frag is......I own do many high end or hyped colognes. And honestly I get more compliments from women far more than a lot of my high end or hyped colognes. Ladies live this stuff. Just not enough votes yet!

This fragrance is definitely mid tier as the price reflects. The citrus is very loud right away which smooths out after 10 minutes. Then this is where the woods and vanilla come out. This is great for starting a collection or getting into the fragrance culture. Performance and projection are mid, good for all occasions. (7/10)

i really like this, a simple slightly sweet fragrance. takes me on a casual day/night out, or chilling with friends, listening to house music. makes me feel a little younger. a little more innocent. nice to have on the shelf and use occasionally

Got a sample when i purchasing guess 's cloth, nothing special it just like another fragrances in the house of Guess, such as Guess Seductive Home or guess by Marciano but it's ok not bad at all . I do like its scent , but not groundbreaking.

this smells good and i've gotten some compliments from this. i love the vanilla in it. it's a nice fresh spicy woody vanilla smell that is great for going out at night or clubs. the sillage is quite good considering the price.

I have always loved GUESS colognes for men. I have to say I do like this one but it smells almost the same as GUESS Seductive for men and Guess Seductive Blue for men. The scent is not all that different.

Guess Night is actually not bad at all! I agree it's not an all-day cologne. This is more of a 'night-out' scent. I like it and I receive compliments every time I wear it.

aimed at a younger group? i am 31 and i enjoy this scent , not the best but i enjoyed the drydown very much . the opening was not my favorite

It's a meh scent. It's one of those fragrances where you forget what it smells like because it doesn't captivate you. Very average.

This is so simple so flat so generic it is a big zero for me, full stop. I blind bought it with some others perfumes and GN it is without any doubt a great delusion. In a way it remind me of Calvin by Calvin Klein (blu squared bottle from the '80s which it wasn't anything special even at that time) it has a clean smell of a generic discount shop shower gel. GN to my nose could easly be confused with any kind of “sport" cheapies fragrances like Adidas, Puma or Umbro and so on... If you are looking for something appealing, distinctive and particular move away from it there are way better choices .

Got a sample of this and tested it,smell nice but it's nothing special,it's just another ordinary fragrance,no better than oriflame or avon fragrances. I see the poster of those ppl in a club or something...lol...this is just too soft and weak to wear at a club,you'll be overpowered by others wearing 1 million,Guerlain L'Instant eau extreme, Dior HI or A*Men It's a pass for me.

What a synthetic mess!!!! You cant detect notes in it, its just fresh synthetic juice with poor longevity and no character. Nothing special. Mr. Kurdijian you can do better than that.

Not the biggest fan but can be picked up for very cheap so worth the money.

If the word "Meh" had a scent. Indistinguishable scent, almost like a generic movie prop. Yes it smells like a mens scent but it smells like it lied through its job interview & landed the position. Meh.

I decided to erase my original review as I found it to be overly harsh. I can admit when I’m wrong. I originally gave this a 5 or 6 out of 10, I was wrong. For a cheapie, this stuff is beyond your money’s worth. I can see how some people compare this to the one, but only around the end of its mid lifecycle or possibly near its dry down. Follow me here for a second, in some ways, it also reminds me Salvatore Ferragamo F Black. Not a dupe, but it’s got that powdery vibe along with the pepper. It’s almost as if Salvatore Ferragamo F and D&G The one had an offspring, this cologne would be their child. What’s bizarre to me is that I have a huge collection, but this out of all of my cheapies that I go for a quick reach with, this one is the one I reach for most. I perhaps judged too harshly with this stuff. My only gripe with this stuff, is that the cedar comes across as pencil shavings, but it’s faint, and I’m just nitpicking now. For a 100ml bottle I got for $19.99 on launch, I got no regrets. This juices superpower is when you get it on your clothes and then throw on the same hoodie or T-shirt you wore the day previous, you can thank me later. I’m going to bump this stuff up to an 8. Guess has been surprising me as of late with their offerings, even though it’s a cheap cologne, synthetic can still smell beautiful. We all got to start somewhere with our collections. I started around 14, I would have no problem suggesting this to a young person who doesn’t have a lot of bank as an entry level guess scent.

How far has the reputation of Francis Kurkdijan fallen in recent years that he is designing this garbage for a designer company notorious for taking shortcuts in quality and for sweat shops in China and Bangladesh? Guess used to be a very respectable designer brand (mostly in the USA in the early 1990's) but their last releases, including the Seductive series, are major indications of a lack of vision and quality at the helm of the once relevant and exciting fashion brand for teens and twenty somethings. This stuff is exceedingly generic, insipid and uninspiring. It's dirt cheap though and easy to grab at discounters across North America for under $20 with shower gel. Meaning this is a great introduction frag for teens and newbies looking for something serviceable and effective. Collectors and connoisseurs won't be flocking to this rather bland pyramid and overall scent, but it's subtle enough to pass for good in any white collar cubicle job and won't raise any eyebrows. The epitome of affordable mediocrity. Scent: 5.0 of 10 Longevity: 5.0 of 10 Sillage: 5.0 of 10 Creativity: 2.5 of 10

You've smelled it a dozen or so times before. Trust me on that. There's really no reason to smell this again. There's a sueded, super-synthetic woody amber, haloed with elemi (pepper, basically), and that harsh, slightly-vanillic, warm-fuzzy thing in the drydown, with peripherally sweet fruit notes lurking in the haze. I'm 100% positive there are at least ten other recent masculines that smell exactly like Guess Night, to the point where any man who shows up at a nightclub wearing it will undoubtedly encounter his olfactory twin. It's the male equivalent of a woman's embarrassment after showing up to an event in the same dress that someone else has on. For a more meaningful rendition of citrus and elemi resin, give Oscar for Men a try. It's no great shakes, but at least it smells natural and really highlights the richness of elemi.

This was the first cologne I ever actively wore. I received it as a gift back at the end of highschool and fell in love with it. After revisiting it now that my nose has matured, I have to say I'm surprised at how harsh and synthetic the opening is especially considering how linear the rest of the scent is. After the first fifteen minutes or so it becomes this nice peppery vanilla fragrance with a little powdery feel to it that springs up every so often. This fragrance kick started my fragrance journey and is still the reason I love dirtier vanilla scents but it's obviously synthetic. I'm surprised to see that Kurkdjian is one of the noses behind this. I'd love to see a higher(niche) quality version of this scent with a much more pleasant opening and more natural ingredients

Tried it a few times now, I wanted to like it, beacuse honestly I do think guess seductive and the blue version are great bang for your buck frags and underrated. Unfortuatnely this one is lost on me. Not much going on here. Just a dry smelling frag with some pepper to me. Projection and longevity are nothing to write home about either. As a matter of fact if not for the pepper to tingle your nose its pretty much a skin scent at best I find. Not sure how its marketed torwards going out beacuse at least on my skin youd have a hard time standing out at all with this. Maybe this will be better for the summer? When the time comes perhaps ill try again but for now its a definite pass for me.

I smoke lots of weed and ciggies, saw this in a flyer for a mere $18.88 for a 100ml, so figured why not, despite the ratings saying it smelled generic and like others. Maybe it does, but what? None of the above...no le male, chanel, la nuit, eros, etc, i've owned them all vibes. It flees quickly like most Guess fragrances, but if you're always smoking, always spray! You'll always smell nice. Like but not love due to I guess the poor longevity...it should be far heavier in the summer and I've caked it on, and it's vanished. Maybe if anything, this smells like Davidoff Hot Water like 3% and 30% like Azzaro Aqua Verde(I also own both).

This is my second edt i used. Bought this because my older sister use guess by marciano and thats great. So i try this guess. The first hour of use is so lovely, but few hours after that everyone thought i didnt use any perfume. I usually use for work at laboratory. When i use it to hang out at night the scent getting better in my opinion. But once again, it just for 2-2,5 hours. Usually use 4 sprays. So i decided to try other perfume and use this only if i go for a short time. Anyway i'm living at tropical country.

To me this is almost spot on to Dolce And Gabanna The One. Just picked up a 3.4oz bottle on Ebay for $16.99 New in sealed box. Wow!!! The One is my favorite cologne and this right here gives it a run for the money! Same great smell but the Guess last longer(8 Hours +) on my skin. The projection is about the same but the longevity goes to Guess Night. I had been searching for a fragrance that had the same smell as The One but lasts longer and I have finally found it!!!

I bought this on sale for 29 Aussie Dollars for 100 mil and I regret it. It very floral with lots of pepper that can make you sneeze, and some woods mixed in, and btw the floral note annoying and sharp. Its just alright to smell it in the air mixing in with some other scents people may be wearing but its headache inducing if its under your nose all the time. I'm grateful that the longevity isn't great, but yet it isn't short enough.

Bought the gift set after smelling it at macys. I liked the warmth in it which is probably the elemi and initially fell in love with the scent. Definetly for the winter. Later it just started to give me an Axe smell. Guess Seductive blue is better and more original

I don't hate it, I don't love it. The Geranium is too dominant in this one. The smell of Geranium reminds me of bug spray. Also, it's too powdery, which I don't like, I'm into fresh fragrances.

Too soon to say but it's almost mature with deep and woodsy accord but it's also juvenile with its citrusy freshness. Nice but not that nice. No need for the world to go after it.
