Iconic Homme

Iconic Homme by Guess is an aromatic, woody, and slightly spicy fragrance. The opening features citrus and spicy notes, with a pleasant but not sparkling freshness. After a few minutes, an aromatic accord reminiscent of lavender and geranium shaving cream emerges, along with a subtle hint of leather that reminded me of YSL's Rive Gauche, obviously of lesser quality, but very similar. This accord lasts for about two hours, until it begins to dry down to a more common scent, similar to newer fragrances as Sauvage. Iconic is a very pleasant fragrance, suitable for year-round wear, as it contains aromatic, slightly spicy, and fresh elements, giving a clean, fresh scent, like aftershave, for casual situations, the office, etc. Its longevity has been between 7 and 8 hours with moderate sillage. I liked Iconic, and I think that its remote resemblance to Rive Gauche makes me think of an alternative that gives that fougere, clean, and woody feeling at an accessible price, like all Guess fragrances. Also, with the impossibility of getting YSL fragrances now, it's a fragrance to consider.

This is such a wonderful and reflective fragrance. This takes me back to the late 80's to when masculinity was in every bottle of cologne then that was marketed to the young men of the days. The mate is the star of this show, it's this racket ass tea note that want stop hitting you, but dammit boy you don't want it stop hitting you either. The pepper and suede is very complimentary to the mate 👌 just right. The lavender and geranium both gives it just enough freshness to lighten the fragrance up. For the price of this fragrance it's a safe blind buy in my opinion it reminds me of Ralph Lauren Safari it's like sitting in an office of professionals having cocktail and telling stories. Great performance and longevity for the price 👏 classic vibes with a modern twist.

Got a 1oz for like 12 bucks at Burlington. This smells like so many other modern fragrances. It is almost like it goes straight to the dry down of like 10 other popular designer frags but at the same time i can't name any. It is just like the dry down of any given blue frag after the citruses wear off. If you want something cheap and thoughtless, grab it and spray the hell out of it because you literally cannot go wrong. Every day, everywhere.

Aromatic, citrus opening leading on to dusty lavender and a spiced-fruit ambromusk. Pleasant, modern, spicy and synthetic. Performance is good, lasts on skin for 8hrs. Versatile and easy to wear. Masculine scent for ages 18-60(ish.) This is basically another take on Sauvage, if you know the DNA and like it, you'll like this. I think the price and bottle are an incentive also, the presentation is fantastic.

I like this one this is a dumb reach. Guess’s take on Sauvage but I’ll say it’s like a smooth creamy version of it. Like Prada Carbon smooth but Carbon beats this by a long shot. Better performance than most Guess fragrances since this one is an eau de parfum. I’ll say 4 hours at best which is great for that house lol. 6/10 this is a good cheap beginner fragrance and a nice gift to someone.

Really really nice. Unnecessarily nice bottle. As others have mentioned, it’s kind of a green take on the Sauvage dna. The deeper dry down is when it gets a bit unique. The suede and spice begin to come through. It’s a Guess fragrance so the performance is what it is. It’s cheap however, so spray to your heart’s content.

Definitely smells pleasant... I think it reminds me of Cool Water Parfum and, as noted in the "reminds me of" section, other Sauvage-like scents. Doesn't seem to project well for very long.

I was so excited for this one, as I’ve had a lot of success with Guess scents. Unfortunately, this one is one of the weaker ones. Great presentation. The bottle is one of the nicest in my collection. Unfortunately, you really have to soak yourself to get noticed. A very nice scent, but, no power.

Smelled at JCPenny, pretty green opening. I normally hate green frags so smelling one with a good dry down was a nice surprise. I definitely get the mate herbal note and Vetiver. Good for fall but nothing amazing. Side note, they were running a deal for a free Guess duffel bag with purchase

Smells better on strip than on skin. On skin it smells almost like mandarine lipstick similar to Roma Uomo Laura Biagiotti but dryer and creamier. Very safe fragrance. On strip you get more effervescent mandarine and it feels more hot weather appropriate than on skin,it has a soft skin like suade smell as well which probably contributes to the creamy nature. For me it spring, fall, cooler nighttime summer fragrance. Not for teenagers more for people 20 and up. The mandarine isn't a classical uplifting citrus but more like a mandarine ice-cream. It's not too sweet like most stuff nowadays but it's sweet. Overall not a bad fragrance but not blind buy worthy.

Very very creamy suede leather. Like you took suede jacker, mixed some vanilla, some fruit like apple, added lavander for freshness and spiced it. It was a wow on fist smell. So nice, plaswnt and an easy goin frag that has some very well balsnced notes. Not syntetic or piercing or alcoholic... something in it makes you wanna eat it and wear it dressed up casual and nice. Super nice, super pleasent. Remi ded me of ysl lhomme but much more creamier with vanulla and suede.

Performance is mid af, I overspray to get to last me a work day, but it is a nice, comforting smell. A little bit spicy, good all year fragrance.

Take Dior Sauvage EDT and mix it with a hint of Jaguar for Men. Projection and longevity are not very good.
