Iconic Sublime

Really pleased by this one. It's got a very beachy kind of smell, the florals give it a coconut-y kind of scent and honestly am surprised to see no coconut in the notes. Aquatic, floral, coconut-y smell make this a perfect wear for summer imo. The performance was surprising too. I got about 5-6 hours before it settled down and hung around for a few hours more at small projection. This one definitely worth a try if you love beachy scents :)

I wish I liked this. I generally love aquatic and marine scents, and I'm a Guess fan. But this is a sandalwood bomb to me! (I rated it a "hate" for my own wardrobe, but it's not a bad fragrance at all.) It features a really creamy, smooth type of sandalwood. No pickle effect here. The sandalwood melds together well with the magnolia, another flower with a creamy quality to it. I didn't get the beachy florals that others mentioned. Everything is tied together with a modern amber-marine base that is quite familiar now in perfumes from the last 5 years. I find that the base overpowers the delicate aquatic florals, which require a sheerer base to shine. The citrus is quite subtle and only around in the opening. I'd describe it as bittersweet. The lotus adds to the bitter haze. There's no vanilla to my nose. Honestly, it would be nicer and more feminine if the vanilla was more prominent or the citruses were juicy. It reads unisex to my nose as is. It smells like many men's "blue" fragrances. Overall, the perfume has a fresh quality to it, but it's also dense and heavy for summer. The performance is great. It projects strongly and really clings to clothing. On skin, I got 6-7 hours, and on clothes about 10-11. If you enjoy creamy woods and marines, I'd wait for this to hit discounters and then get it.

Since Myer didn't have a tester available, I ended up blind-buying the body mist today. As a fan of the original Iconic, I was curious to see how this flanker stacked up, and I’m pleased to find it’s a total departure from the pillar fragrance. If I had to describe it, imagine a more elevated, "watery" relative of Britney Spears' Curious. The prominent notes of lotus and magnolia give it that familiar fresh, aquatic vibe but with a bit more sophistication. Key Takeaways: Vibe: Clean, inoffensive, and light. Suitability: Extremely office-friendly and safe for a blind buy. Comparison: Distinctly different from the original Iconic (which is a plus!). I’m going to give it a proper rotation over the next few days to see how it performs before committing to the full EDP.

I saw this at JC Penney today and I wanted to buy it so bad, but I don't know what it smells like. I like the original actually.I love the original, so I hope this is equally as good

This sounds pretty for warm weather. I like a lotus note.
