Seductive Blue

Why the hell does this $19.99 Guess Perfume bought at Ross smell so much nicer, well blended, and better quality than other perfumes I have in the over $100 category??? Some $280 fragrances that I have are more like a fleeting whisper. This isn't beast mode but it does give me lots of wafts and it's good. Longevity so far its been 6 hours and i can still smell it everywhere i sprayed. I was happily surprised when I picked this up for what I got it for. It's the 75ml for about $20. Let me just say - the Pear and Plum are fresh and JUICY. Not sure how cyclamen smells but it works. Peony is dainty. Freesia is watery. Something is watery in here..it's cool and breezy. Like a sunny day with amazing breeze...the clouds have silver linings. The rose water is soothing. It just smells like a luxurious spa in a beach side resort. Clean, uplifting, CAREFREE. I'm picturing myself diving into deep sparkling blue waters off of a fancy yacht... I'm wearing a white bikini and I'm 30 lbs lighter lol. 🤪 I'm so glad I bought this because I almost rolled my eyes at it when I saw it. (Red got nauseating even tho it was good quality and I havent reached for Noir in a long time) but this one -- you could put the juice in a high end niche bottle and I wouldn't even know it's actually less than $30 retail and even $10 less than that in ross 😅 I keep talking about money but I mean fragrances are having a moment right now and people are starting to become fragheads and are shelling out for high designer / niche prices but this one is a lovely gem IF you're into fresh/ citrus/ fruity/juicy/sweet/airy fragrances. Great for summer and spring. Which would be year round for where I live. GRAB IT IF YOU SEE IT. 👀 I do not have anything else like it in my collection.

I am so glad I got to test this today because it's an instant love. I was intimidated by the amber note, but it's only the dry down that is a sweet mellow resinous amber. It opens with its fruity notes - bergamot and pear juice over plush peony and freesia. The rose water note is light and aquatic. I was instantly transported to summer vacation bliss, hanging out by a lake on a sunny day with some cool breeze. I love fruity aquatics. This one does not smell cheap. The plum and faint patchouli give it depth. I would have to classify it as an amber fragrance by the end. It's amber and ripe plum. These base notes survived three hand washings. Guess perfumes aren't known for great performance. I would say it has moderate sillage and lasts up to 6 hours on my skin.

Really nice for the price, it was a little sharp and messy at first spray, but after letting it sit for a few days before wearing again, it smoothed out a lot. I can certainly see the resemblance to Versace Dylan Purple, about 75% of the way there, but not as nice. Don't think it smells anything like Ocean di Gioia, the pear hits totally different in this, and also don't see much similarity with Sea Rose. This is nice, nothing amazing but its a fresh, sweet, summery fruit cocktail. I enjoy the fragrance but man the longevity is awful, I swear it's almost completely faded in an hour even layered with the lotion. Nice to use as a refresher at the very least since it is super affordable.

I love it. I saw it in the shelf in store and was like, oh something new, let’s try. Immediately I felt in love. First it feeld a bit cheap and overwhelming but after a minute perfume settles down, and it’s fruity floral sweet jam, it boosts my mood the whole day and motivates me, to live in a moment and enjoy it. I know it sounds like too much from 14 euro perfume, for me it’s a little miracle. The whole autumn and winter I was wearing seductive noir and now its time to change for summer version. Maybe not for everyone so try and make your mind

I was in Germany last month and picked up a 30ml of this fragrance as that was the only size available. Very little stock of this and haven't seen it sold in my neck of the woods. Anyway I am loving this and have already used most of my bottle. It is very light but still lingers on the skin for about 2-4 hours. Would definitely repurchase if only I could find it!

This one is pretty! I am pleasantly surprised! It is clean but not soapy and very uplifting. Typically, I am not a huge fan of anything rose but I don't smell it here. It isn't at all screechy and I found that it was a great mood booster on a gloomy rainy day. It's an easy reach for sure and I think it will be a great one for spring and summer!

This is sweet but not cloying, fresh, uplifting, and beautiful. It is not particularly long-lasting, but for $12 at Ross I think you can afford to respray liberally. Don't pass this one up if you want a fun summery perfume that is lighthearted but doesn't veer into childish territory. A+

When I tell you, if you see this little beauty at Marshall's or Tj Maxx pick her up, i mean it! Fresh easy to wear scent, Very clean and aquatic. I could see this being a hit with a lot of people. Lasts about 6 hours on me. Very pleasantly surprised by this blind buy!

Pretty similar to Dylan Purple! Fresh, fruity, so CLEAN and bright smelling. Very "shampooey" but I have such a love for these kinds of scents. Also has that wonderful "magazine page" type of smell, which I can never get enough of.

weak sillage and subious longevity (i can never tell) But a VERY refreshing and lovely scent. I love the way it smells and I'm so excited to wear it all day long in the summer! Its floral but fruity and aquatic....very pleasant

Aquatic, tropical and fresh !!! This smells like tropical fruit shampoo to me. Only downside to this fragrance is the weak longevity but apart from that I love her 🍒🌺

yummy candy shop fragrance. It also smells like a delicious soft conditioner. Unfortunately very weak though. Perfect to wear before bed.

tested this a while back and found it very nice! gave me intriguing mix of seductive femme and carefree beach girl. at first I didn't think the scent was that special but I found myself constantly sniffing my wrist trying to figure the ingredients out. very unique which was surprising, since I think most of Guess' scents are quite ordinary. the sillage was rather intimate, but the longevity surprised me - I could detect one spray on my sleeve perfectly for several hours. so good value for money, I'd say. this gives me the vibe I expected from Light Blue, so maybe I'll reach for this next spring or summer!

Bought the body mist of this and I have to say I expected more from this. It's very "meh". Luckily it wasn't expensive. Will probably give it away Edit I'm once again revisiting my old reviews and am thinking what the hell has been wrong with me! This is so nice. I bet I was just upset because it wasn't a dupe of Ocean di gioia that I wanted it to be. This is a very nice juicy, almost mouthwatering and refreshing aquatic scent. Smells very much like Dylan purple but I like this one more. I'm definitely not giving it away. Eagerly eaiting for summer so I get to use it more

A really lovely perfume. Seductive Blue is unmistakably youthful, like the essence of fresh ocean breezes captured in a bottle with a simple sweetness intertwined. It opens with a crisp fruity note and dries down with a marine, ozonic quality that keeps it from smelling like another fruity-floral fragrance I've smelled countless times before. It’s girly and cheery, as though I’m relaxing on the beach with freshly showered skin and flower petals trailing softly behind me as I walk. The longevity is rather weak but given its price, I can't complain.

I bought this to complete my guess seductive collection and the tester smelled nice enough. Unfortunately this scent actually takes a little bit of patience; It opens up with a very fresh but very sweet smell that is convincing enough but that opening ends up quite synthetic on my skin. It dries down with a lot more floral notes but the sweetness stays, also slightly aquatic. I like it, but its not my favorite, I would really only wear it in warm weather, despite the fact I'm not the type of person to categorize perfumes like that.

As one that strongly dislikes aquatics and freshies and my skin chemistry almost never cooperates with them, I'd say this one is good. On my skin it's more "marine" & beachy, than aquatic and a bit neutral/bitter; I don't get any sweetness or fruits. It's kinda fresh, and salty (!) but there is a note that kinda ruins it and makes it leaning towards the typical "perfume-y" drugstore type of scent. It's surprisingly (for me) pleasant! "Taking a walk by the beach in Greece during a windy summer afternoon". 💙

Too bad it does not last. It’s a unique freshie with the contrast of the citrus and the muskiness and subtle spice of the base notes. If it wasn’t so fleeting, I would have bought a big bottle. Such a nice bottle in the picture! And this is more cute or pretty than seductive.

Ok, yes, the perfume lasts longer then expected, and yes it smells good when you first spray it. But! After maybe an hour or 2, it smells kinda cheap-ish. The middle notes can be only smelled then and it feels like a perfume that a teeny bought alone.

Nice fragrance. It’s fresh, aquatic and sweet. It smells feminine, young and carefree. A good choice for summer vacations. It’s nothing groundbreaking but it’s pleasant. Try it if you want something fruity and joyful.

This is really nice. Fresh and soft, nicely blended, at times gives me an elegant woman vibe, but the dry down definitely gives teen girl vibe. Nice cheapy, I will definitly use it more in spring!

Playful a bit beachy, fruity-sweet. I have emptied the bottle but from what I remember it didn’t have very good lasting power or sillage. But a youthful, pleasant scent. Love the bottle 🐬⚜️

Great Y2K/10's smell. Aquatic but not "sea salt" notes. I like it. The bottle is sorta tacky sorta glam. It fits the fragrance, which is high maintenance, and yet somehow unpretentious.

This is the only one from the Guess line that I enjoy. Fresh, aquatic, but a bit weak.

This is nice enough but it really doesn't smell like Ocean di Gioia at all to my nose. It bears absolutely no resemblance to White Tea. I can understand the Dylan Purple comparison but that one smells like chemicals to me so Seductive Blue is much nicer! This is in the realm of an Escada Summer perfume. Very easy to wear fruity perfume with subtle florals, more like a body wash than a sharp shampoo. The plum and pear come across as a fresh and sweet cocktail but the flowers give a soft perfumy touch - without turning screechy - and then there's just a hint of patchouli in the base that feels a tiny bit earthy, woody and green. The patch is minimal though as it doesn't bother me and I don't like patchouli generally speaking. If you overspray Seductive Blue it is actually quite strong and lasts for way longer than expected!. Oddly enough the pear has a bit of a red apple scent to me.... that plus musk and freesia reminds me of Lanvin Modern Princess. Modern Princess but less creamy and a little bit more tart, sheer and juicy, with a hint of patch in the dry down. Unlike the original, Red and Noir, this really isn't what I'd call Seductive - it would've made much more sense in the Guess Girl range!

(A review of the body mist version of this perfume, they didnt have the bodymist listed on fragrantica.) This one surprised me a lot! I went to the store to buy a cheap body mist to just keep in my gym bag, when I smelled this I immediately bought it! When i got home and tested it out i instantly fell in love! I couldn't stop using it. I've been using it every day all week! And I usually change my perfume almost every day... It is so beautiful! If I were to describe the perfume I would say that it is clean, aquatic, juicy, floral, fruity and sweet! this is a fantastic body mist/perfume for everyday wear. It is quite subtle but it still has great sillage. I just orderd the red body mist aswell, hope it is just as good as this one!🤞 I also plan on buying the perfume version aswell! The emojis that best describe this scent: (🩵🍐🌹🎍🪷🫧🍋🏝️🌸)

I noticed this on the twenty dollar shelf at shoppers and was hoping it would still be there on pay day, all the reviews saying it smells like ocean di gio had me stoked, that’s one of my top fives so I had high hopes and thankfully the one bottle they had didn’t sell before I was able to swoop it up....now the sad part...this does NOT smell like Ocean Di Gio....this is actually more masculine than I was expecting and it doesn’t seem to stick around very long, not on skin of clothing. I do like the smell, it’s not bad but it’s for more of a unisex vibe to it. I was hoping it would be this fresh aquatic scent just like my love Ocean....😭. For twenty bucks you’re not wasting your money entirely, just a Meh for me....

It honestly smells just fine. I don‘t mind the scent at all but it‘s not really something I would want to smell like as it does kind of remind me of a shower gel a teenage boy might use; just slightly off-putting to me. That being said, I tested this by spraying onto a paper tester strip at the drug store and like an hour later I went to dinner, tester strip still in hand (of course), and the waiter immediately asked us who it was that smelled so good. He said he could smell it all over the room as soon as we entered (slight faux-pas on my part but I did not anticipate this type of sillage at all and luckily no one was bothered). So if you like the scent, this really is a great bang for your buck!

I tried it in a drugstore, as I was very excited after having checked its "sister" - Guess Seductive Noir. I thought this one would make as great impression as the "black version". And well... I really liked the smell. Now when it's 35 degrees outside that would bring a lot of relief, being a refreshing scent. It is kind of strange naming this perfume "seductive", when it has nothing to do with seduction in my opinion. It's kind of... misleading. But that's the smallest problem here. What is actually the worst is its performance. It performs worse than a mist! Longevity is bad and so is sillage. That's a shame because the scent as such is very pleasant.

Meh. I could take it or leave it. It’s very fruity, fresh, clean & sweet. Ok for a day spent bumming around town, running errands in the spring/summer. It leaves me with the impression of a teen’s fruity body wash, as others have said below. Very youngster kind of scent. So, yeah...meh. I do find it much more pleasant layered with Versace’s Dylan Turquoise (with or without also layering in some BBW Beautiful Day body spray), which elevates it out of the teen zone, imo. That’s a way to get rid of it anyway. Will not repurchase.

It’s fresh, citrusy and aquatic. The more I wear it though, it’s reminding me of a hair gel or hair spray I had in the 90’s or early 00’s. There’s almost a green apple hairspray scent to it. It’s not terrible. I’m just not sure I want to smell like apple hairspray. There isn’t even an apple note. It must be the way the pear and bergamot mix. I’m not going to get rid of it, but it will be an after shower, just around the house and wearing to bed scent.

I got this in a set. And red and blue are my favorite! Today I was smelling it and reading my son a bedtime story. I felt like I was in a library and I realized the smell of this parfum has that old book smell. And I wasn't appalled by it. It was a nostalgic feel and now like it more! It lasted 2hrs cuz I forgot I had it on.

Okay, so I blind bought this one. I’m always tempted by cheap fragrance to do this. Unfortunately this is not a hidden treasure. Smells like tropical shampoo and does not last. It’s not bad but not much to it.

I wasn’t sure about the opening but the drydown smells very nice. Woody citrus. Smells like when you enter a clothing store and there is that nice calming smell Did give me a slight headache

This is described as a fruity, fresh floral and I agree with that. It sadly doesn't have the nuance and comfort I usually get from perfumes in the Guess Seductive line, which is disappointing. I can imagine liking this on someone else who rocks fresh scents, that, however, is not me. This just feels like a weird addition to this collection. Kiss was already not my thing, it soured on me, but I get why it belongs with the others. Guess Seductive Blue isn't seductive to me in any way and it also lacks the warmth and skin notes that I usually get from the perfumes in this line. I smell like shampoo and bathroom cleaner/room spray when I put this on.

Don't like this cologne. My nose smells a very tart, citrusy in a harsh chemical way scent. Love the other Seductives, thought it would be a safe blind buy. Didn't want to give up on it, so I layered a Bodycology lemon lotion & spray, with just a teeny bit of Bath & Body Works Lemon Pound cake spray. This brought out more of the citrus in a softer, fresher way.

Fresh and fruity but with a sharp aquatic artificial undertone. I'd say Guess Seductive Noir is much better.

I love this scent! Contrary to what all the others say, the longevity with me is long. I tested it in the afternoon and still smelled it the next morning, when I woke up. This week it is € 16,99 for 75 ml edt at het Kruidvat, a Dutch discount drugstore. I immediately bought a bottle! I am so happy with it. I also own the original Guess Seductive, which I also love, but I love this one even more. It doesn't smell cheaper than my Petite Cherie by Annick Goutal, which costs € 128,99 for 100 ml, so it's more than five times as expensive. Guess Seductive Blue is a delicious fruity floral. It's a sweet fresh scent that lifts my spirit, just like Petite Cherie by Annick Goutal, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet and Sunflowers by Elisabeth Arden do. The scent is perfectly blended, I can't recognise one ingredient. Last year I bought Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet, which smells even better, but only lasts about three hours, so I considered that a waste of my money and I payed € 58,00 for only 30 ml, so it was even more than eight times as expensive. So really, if you can't afford an expensive scent, Guess Seductive Blue is an ideal scent to still smell delicious!

The scent itself is perfect for summer, day or night. It’s a refreshing, fruity, floral, aquatic scent. It smells like shampoo, expensive shower gel and fresh ocean breeze, long only complaint is that this has extremely poor longevity and siliage. Maybe an hour, hour and a half and then it’s gone. Very upsetting because this has so much potential! The bottle is also very pretty and truly does reflect the scent.

Very warm, seductive summery scent with hints of plum. I get the same vibes as with Mediterranean from Elizabeth Arden which I owned. It also comes in a bodyspray which is very nice too. Goin to wear this this summer very often. Maybe an orange or ambery coloured bottle would have suited this perfume more

I wish Guess will create, Guess Seductive Green which is fresh, smell of grass, rain, citrus, hint of sweetness and woody. I was hoping for a summer vibe scent for the Guess blue but it's too floral for me. It's not bad though, it's nice but too much heavy on florals so I must say I don't really like it.

This reminds me of sea breeze and flowers. The wind mixes them together. A bit powdery. This would be a great summer scent, but you have to spray a few layers to keep the scent on the skin. This does not smell cheap, quite the opposite. I haven't smelled a similar perfume. A well blended fragrance.

I'm a fan of "blue" perfumes so I blind bought this and I'm not disappointed. To me this is a summer fragrance and on me it smells like BBW Limoncello so perfect for anyone who loves feminine Citrus blends.

A warm, summery and fruity scent that is light enough to wear to work, school, college, uni, shopping and running errands.

Pleasant bergamot cyclamen.. ..hint of plum... Greece ...beach ..the advertisment fits the vibe Great longevity
