Coffee Note

This just might be my favourite coffee perfume ever. I really enjoy this, a lot of the coffee fragrances Ive tried have been too much of something odd and either too sweet, too milky or too balsamic in the mix and not the most wearable, or else the coffee is literally non existent with just the idea of it fleeting. Here I get a very present classy coffee note but with such well built up florals and freshness that it uplifts it and it really feels like a perfume and not as though I have poured coffee on myself, while still smelling the cup of milky coffee. It opened up a little masculine with a cologne apple but the apple is only felt in the opening and by drydown the cup of coffee settles and it is unisex. The coffee note doesnt fade away, infact its more prominent as time goes on. It manages to be not heavy at all while having a great presence. Its also very powdery which I enjoy. It is literally relaxing to smell. I didnt think coffee and lavender would go so well, and lavender is one of my favourite floral notes which I enjoy so much in Mon Guerlain. So if you can imagine a less sweet Mon Guerlain with a milky coffee this is basically that. This is not straight black coffee or expresso scent. Very interestingly good perfume.

Cosy, milky coffee fragrance that is reminiscent of Maison Martin Margiela's Coffee Break but not a 1:1 recreation. It does last longer and is significantly cheaper. To me it feels like wearing your favourite sweater on a bright autumnal morning while sipping a coffee. While I'd never say anything is entirely blind buy safe, this is worth a shot.

I don't like the opening of this one, it smells a bit like a room freshener. The dry-down is nicer and it turns into a very milky coffee, but it never fully hides it's room spray qualities that give me a slight headache.

Doesn’t smell much like MMM Coffee Break. This smells much lower quality in comparison, and the notes/accords are muddled. The coffee is noticeable but faint. The supposed lavender doesn’t smell all that much like lavender. I don’t get jasmine. You could call this a muddled and musky take of MMM Coffee Break. Whereas MMM Coffee Break is distinctly lots of lavender with a moderate amount of bitter coffee. Be aware that I’m testing this for the first time (on paper strip), and smelling the strip over a few hours.

this one is a bit like the grenade looking bottles lattafa does, there is a black forest one, and a toffee coffee one, well gulf orchid does the coffee thing better, though i would stick to layering this or just get black opium. nice though, but very simplistic
