Whisper

FWIW...Whisper is marketed as "For Men," or "Unisex." However, I find Whisper quite feminine leaning. If you visit the Maison Asrar Website and read about Whisper, the listed notes and perfume description are completely different than what Fragrantica lists/states. From the Maison Asrar Website: Family: Oriental Floral Top Notes: Mango, Mandarin, Pear Heart Notes: Muguet, Milk, Orange Flower Base Notes: Musk, Vanilla, Cashmeran If there are citrus or fruity notes in its opening, I barely detect them as Whisper immediately develops with a lovely, gentle, extremely fragrant, creamy floral accord. A combination of orange flower (a perfume not I love), muguet and milky notes are at the heart & core of this perfume. Whisper develops as a creamy, soft, floral fragrance. The opening floral accord is gentle, ephemeral and heavenly. Within 10-15 minutes, the perfume blends with powdery notes, wood notes (cashmeran), lots of amber, definite musk and vanilla. Whisper is NOT a sweet perfume because the woody-amber-musk notes pull the fragrance into a floriental direction. Throughout its wear, I continually detect a floral accord that is at the heart of Whisper. Whisper sits very close to the skin and is not a huge projector. Performance is good for a new Middle Eastern perfume. I'm sure the perfume's performance will only improve with time... The bottle is beyond gorgeous...I adore the cap! And the box presentation is beautiful with this lovely, unfolding, pop-up, floral design on the inside cover. Whisper! I absolutely love it!
