Gutteridge Eau de Parfum

This beautiful hidden gem among perfumes has in common that none of us has almost certainly never seen it in a perfumery... Not even on a billboard or similar advertisements... But you are physically infatuated with it through the olfactory experience - which in my opinion is 1000x better than any paid advertisement! Most of the comments for this perfume are in common with mine - such an experience.. I was walking in Italy..And in between these streets with shops-passed the Gutteridge shop-from which the street smelled perfectly familiar but even better than this! The store itself comes from Napoli and is dedicated to the men's department of fine clothes with a fairly high price. Already in the window, next to the beautiful dresses, you can see a big black bottle of perfume with a rich golden cap... And that's how most of us walked into the store - our noses didn't lead us there! We asked about this perfume from the shop window - to which the salesman "warned" us with a smile that the ambient fragrance in the air of the shop is oddly that of this perfume! Most of us were extremely happy that this perfect scent came from this beauty.. :) I immediately took this one - "Black" and the red one "Viking" (which is not listed on this page - but is a clone of the Viking from Creed!) This "Black" smells 70% like the well-known Aventus - with a masterfully finished finish.. At the beginning you get citrus fruits, after 15 minutes comes smoked pineapple with blackcurrants...and the finish is finished with creamy vanilla... Maybe it doesn't sound unique, but this performance, which aims to approach Aventus Dnk in its own way, is so divine...Never overwhelming and tiring! Another perfume bottle is "niche", heavy with a nice golden cap... For the price of 25-30€!!!! A truly hidden gem, divine scent at a modest price! Next time you're in Italy and you see this shop - do yourself a favor and at least try this fragrance! (You won't be disappointed!) Do not buy private parts online for 100€ or similar bad prices! ;)

I love this perfume. It's been my signature scent for a few years now. It is not very well known but it smells so nice and clean, and when you wear this you truly feel like a high-value man. It definitely shares similarities with Creed Aventus, but i would not call it a clone as this is its own thing. It is a great everyday scent and it will get you a lot of compliments. It is a crowd-pleaser and you can wear it to every occasion, whether it be a formal dinner or just a casual day. The problem with this is that it's hard to get as it is available only in Italy or through their website, but they don't ship worldwide. In terms of a blind buy, I would say this is very safe. Some people, who are leaning towards ultra-niche perfumes may find it a bit boring, but no one can say this smells bad. Also to mention the incredible price of 35-40 euros... it is insanely great value for what you are getting. If you are in Italy definitely give this a try.

Great fragrance. Opens with a strong hit of citrus and a clean scent that is quite chemical and might be a bit off putting for some, it quickly develops into a sweet ananas while the dry down smells of woods and vanilla. Mass appealing and elegant. I prefer the perfumes I wear to stay lowkey so I only do a couple of sprays: as expected it doesn’t project that much and definitely won’t last an entire day but I don’t mind. Better than CDNI and way less common, especially outside of Italy. Even in Italy it’s not really that common but the Gutteridge employees have this bad habit of spraying liters upon liters of this fragrance in their shops (guess it’s supposed to catch people’s attention from the street?) so people might recognize it. Probably the fragrance I wear the most.

I was walking through Rome on vacation. It was sweltering. Covered in sweat from head to toe, we passed by a nice display of men's wear with a bottle of cologne for 39.50 euros. So I went in and I was glad I did. That blast of cold amazing smelling air hit me and I thought, this is THE place. The clerk handed me the sample bottle. It was so refreshing I loved it instantly. The lemon hits pretty hard (maybe a little Pledgey to start), but the dry for me is oakmoss and geranium. I also get some salty undertones, perhaps ambroxan. It is suitable for any occastion, but I tend to think more fall/spring than Summer. For the money, this is a steal. If you are in Italy, be sure to pick some up! Awesome Aventus inspired scent. However i think it has it's own thing going on. Somewhat fruitier, nice "wooden furniture" vibe in the back. Absolutely worth the price.
