Ambre Of The Sea

With Ambre of the Sea, an image immediately came to mind. I love the sea, and smelling this fragrance with my eyes closed, I immediately couldn't help but find myself enveloped by wonderful notes that transported me to the warm water of the sea at night, silent and lighted only by the rays of the moon perceiving the wonderful aroma around me. A wonderful feeling of quietness, I would describe it as velvety and enveloping. For those looking for a very elegant Marine, with slightly hint of salty notes surrounded by a floral frame with a light fruity touch, this fragrance is perfect. It has been a long time since a scent like this has made me feel this way. Wonderful. So rich an experience, but fresh from the salt yet unique and sexy (maybe it's the warmth of the sandalwood) marine amber for summer. This is a great summer outdoor dinner date in Europe kind of fragrance. Seems to be moderate in projection and life. I'm saving up for the full bottle and I am hoping it is still available when I can finally purchase it! Update: Finally got the full bottle and I love it so much that now I want a backup! I also wish Habibi would sell travel sizes.

The Rose is dominant on my skin on first spray, the marine notes with the violet makes it very airy while the salt just touches the back of the scent. For a man like my self, the powderiness is delicate and not intense. Ambergris note is pretty strong on the drydown and levels the rose down little by little through the hours until I gdt a clean, musky amber scent on my skin. Its not loud but I prefer an aquatic fragrance to be clean and calm rather than sweet and loud. I was afraid at first I bought a floral bathroom cake because it reminds me of a powder room, but this fragrance does take on a depth and I like the results. I really wanted the amber style of the ocean and this does accomplish that. Very good fragrance Update: christmas '25 slept in on holiday and took a nice shower, this fragrance smells excellent after a warm shower. I definitely feel like on clean skin in the morning, this fragrance is deeper bit not indolic as the rose makes it out to be. The initial spray reminds me of my 2023 bottle of ADG Parfum, but then the mid notes smell smoothed out. Sea notes are less fishy amd far more fresher, natural. Bergamot stands out like it does in sauvage but quickly ends after 2-3 minutes which is good, so noone is buying a dupe. Less of that dish soap vibe I smelled the first day I recieved my discovery set and more cleaner floral aquatic.

Great salty opening. I get a hint of rose with a sweet musky finish. I wish it lasted longer. It was decent, I could detect for about 5 hours on my shirt, little less on my skin. Leans more feminine to me, however, I would still wear it. It is a great scent. Somewhat akin to Squid from Zoologist. Wish I would have picked up more of the plum. I would wear this daily. It does stand out a bit at its peak.
