Harmony

Got the small bottle with a purchase of a fragrance from them. It's citrus/fruity, Ozonic, lively in the opening and does dry down into this amber, leathery, calmer level later on. It reminds me of Horizon by Guy Laroche from back in the day ( reminds, not a copy ) so just like that reminder, this is enjoyable, nothing so unique but that's ok. It seems to turn into a skin scent within 2 hours or so. So all in all, a good try. Can really be worn all around but if I had to pick between 2, Spring & Fall (Spring for its opening, Fall for it's dry down ) Would I run to buy it? Not really...but it's something to try.

The idea behind this fragrance is nice but it's just not for me. It's wise to purchase the sample set so you can test a small vial before committing to a full flanker. The ozonic notes smell fresh-- I'm glad this wasn't yet another aquatic frag that smells like every other typical aquatic fragrance. Combining green notes in the top, herbs, oakmoss, leather in the middle, and then throwing in cedarwood, musk, vetiver, musk, and patchouli in the base leads to a bit of a confusing fragrance. I think less would have been "more" here, so the really woody notes in the base are not so prominent, leaving a large gap between a fresh/watery top and a really woody base. Others may appreciate the drydown particularly given the mid and base notes. It's a pass for me.

Not my thing, but smells much better after drydown.
