Palace Grove

Palace Grove is a wonderful promenade through the enchanting gardens of Alhambra, the summer residence of the Ottoman Sultans. A witness to Arab genius and elegance, it still amazes its visitors to this day. Sweet and juicy citrus notes can be perceived in this fragrance, coupled with flower blossom petals and a very fruity fig that is reminiscent of a wonderful plant found in these gardens. The gushing of fountains, the aroma of flowers and fruit trees... uncountable places to spend hours in silence, there is only to choose your own. Summery, fresh, citrusy with fruity nuances and very pleasant with excellent performances. This time I will not mention paintings because this magical place is already a work of art.

Nicely sweetened citrus bomb, tamed by pepper and cardamom. This has unisex and good written all over it. Unisex...with a feminine lean. Obvious effort to be mass appealing here, and I think they've hit the mark without over, or under-doing it rather. Reminds me of Kilian's 'Flower of Immortality,' but stronger. Although not listed, I detect a strong aura.of peach 🍑. A peachiness, to be sure. Smells like a slightly less synergic version of the peach extract you get in corner store gummy peach rings. Not a bad thing; everyone loves that smell...because everyone loves sugar. Sugar is our generation's nicotine. I digress. Good stuff. I'll take a decant.

Really lovely stuff. Orange blossom, Jasmine, and fig are dominant and work together extremely well. Those primary notes are completed by just the right amount of (not at all sweet) coconut that gradually transitions into an equally unsweet woody vanilla. Some similarities with Acqua Di Parma's Fico d' Amalfi, but more complex and balanced, and with much more projection and longevity. Unisex with a masculine lean.

As another reviewer mentioned, I'm shocked this doesn't have peach in it. When I first sniffed this on paper I got a lot of fruity peach. On skin, I still get peach, but fig is much more prominent. The note listing here denotes fig leaf, but to me, it's the actual fig fruit. Overall, this is a pleasant (yet unremarkable) fruity fig, which goes more floral and musky in the dry-down. Leans feminine IMO. Lasts all day on me.

Slightly spicy citrus opening but a tad harsh. Not long after I get a bit of the floral note and it finishes with a soft sweet musk. Wish it lasted longer for me. Safe scent for many occasions. Not much of a citrus person but I could live with this one.

Legit one of the BEST orange/orange blossom frags I’ve ever smelled. Bright, beautiful, with a light animalic touch pulling it masculine and lending a uniqueness. Does smell very high quality like all the other new Reserve offerings from Habibi NY and I’ll definitely be leaving reviews on those in time. Palace Grove is great warm weather frag and again possesses such an incredible orangeyness it’s simply divine. For lovers of orange this is a MUST TRY
